Danny has to work off his Sentence

So! Danny isn't the King of the Infinite Realms. And he is not above the Law.

Sure, he has many friends in high places, and he did defeat the King in single combat, but that doesn't mean he is above the Law in the way The King would be.

And unfortunately for him, Walkers Laws do actually have some backing.

Not all of them. Some are just laws he placed over his Lair and surrounding Territory, which he is really nitpicky about, but the Big ones he touts are the Laws of the entire Zone set by the First King. Don't Tresspass on Lairs without an official challenge, don't End a Realms Being without permission, Don't bring Humans into the Zone without permission, etc.

And Danny has broken quite a few of them, meaning Walker is entirely in his rights to put him away for a few Thousand Years. Thankfully, there is an alternative.

Since Danny wasn't wanted for any major crimes, Walker offered a different path for him. Danny was still one of the Strongest Ghosts in the Zone, and as the Portal was technically his Grave he had full authority to use it however he liked, so if he ran a couple of errands for Walker, he could consider his Sentence served.

All he has to do was round up a few of the Trouble Makers that had escaped his grasp by virtue of being in the Living Realm, and he would forgive his previous crimes.

So, Danny took him up on the offer. It was better than being constantly hounded by Walkers Guards. The fact that he could beat them easily was moot, it was extremely annoying and he wanted it to stop.

So he was given his First list of targets, and went on his way.

There's something a bit fun about seeing someone as dainty as Al casually hefting that huge axe over his shoulder with one hand.

His strength is powered by spite the way the Hulk's strength is powered by anger.

The more spiteful and petty he feels, the stronger he becomes.

Okay but imagine:

Adam lives through the Galra invasion. Team Voltron is on Earth reuniting with their loved ones. Shiro obviously nervous about seeing Adam again. So is Keith (bc he views Adam like a dad/brother). When the three reunite Adam only pays attention to Keith, completely ignoring Shiro and Shiro just follows Adam around hoping to get acknowledged in some way, even if it's in a "I moved on, but it is good to know you're alive" kind of way. Keith notices this and just laughs and doesn't explain anything to Shiro (lowkey Keith is also mad Shiro left for kerberos and left him and Adam) but knows his dads/brothers have to go at their own pace.

One night when Shiro thinks that everything is fruitless that perhaps Adam forgot about him Adam acknowledges him for the first time.

Bonus:

Krolia and Adam bonding which worries Keith and Shiro and not in a "oh shit they're going to kill each other" way but in a "they're going to be troublemakers together and thank God they did not meet when they were younger but - DID THEY JUST BLOW SOMETHING UP" kinda way

Krolia also loves the petty silent treatment bc she once had to do something similar with Keith's dad.

Looking back at the Black Trailer to something I don’t think I’ve ever seen discussed:

There is an extra, unspoken layer to the “What about the crew?”/“What about them?” exchange, particularly in hindsight now, that shows just how LITTLE Adam truly cared for the Faunus cause, or really ANYONE other than himself, and makes the red flag Blake was seeing all the more blatant.

In this exchange, they are speaking specifically about crew, not passengers. As in, people presumably employed by the Schnee Dust Company. And it’s been made clear over and over from pretty much the moment they were introduced that the SDC employs a whole lot of faunus labor.

Meaning that it’s pretty safe to assume that a sizable portion of the crew on that train were probably FAUNUS.

The crew that Adam clearly thought nothing of sending to their DEATHS in order to make whatever point he thought destroying this train would send.

And to answer the choir pedantic as to why Blake didn’t mention this to Adam; well for one, the trailer didn’t exactly have time to establish what ‘faunus’ even meant. But more than that, why would Blake NEED to remind Adam of all people of this fact?

As we learn in Volume 6, Adam is FROM Atlas, he was ONE of those faunus ‘employed’ by the SDC. If anyone would know that there were probably other faunus on that train, it would be HIM.

And Adam made it clear in that exchange that he did not care one bit about them.

In hindsight, is it any wonder why Blake immediately bugged out after this?
