Danny has to work off his Sentence

So! Danny isn't the King of the Infinite Realms. And he is not above the Law.

Sure, he has many friends in high places, and he did defeat the King in single combat, but that doesn't mean he is above the Law in the way The King would be.

And unfortunately for him, Walkers Laws do actually have some backing.

Not all of them. Some are just laws he placed over his Lair and surrounding Territory, which he is really nitpicky about, but the Big ones he touts are the Laws of the entire Zone set by the First King. Don't Tresspass on Lairs without an official challenge, don't End a Realms Being without permission, Don't bring Humans into the Zone without permission, etc.

And Danny has broken quite a few of them, meaning Walker is entirely in his rights to put him away for a few Thousand Years. Thankfully, there is an alternative.

Since Danny wasn't wanted for any major crimes, Walker offered a different path for him. Danny was still one of the Strongest Ghosts in the Zone, and as the Portal was technically his Grave he had full authority to use it however he liked, so if he ran a couple of errands for Walker, he could consider his Sentence served.

All he has to do was round up a few of the Trouble Makers that had escaped his grasp by virtue of being in the Living Realm, and he would forgive his previous crimes.

So, Danny took him up on the offer. It was better than being constantly hounded by Walkers Guards. The fact that he could beat them easily was moot, it was extremely annoying and he wanted it to stop.

So he was given his First list of targets, and went on his way.

DPxDC Prompt Idea - Danny the Ghost(ly) Bounty Hunter

When a person dies and becomes a ghost, the majority of the ghosts take a permanent residence in the Infinite Realms.

Ghosts that, for whatever reason, take up permanent residence in the human world/Earth are required to check in with Ghost Council (or a Death Institute, or whatever governing body you want to imagine). It's to make sure that the ghost in question is still healthy and is not in any danger. It is a Requirement and Cannot Be Avoided. Missing your check in is Very Bad.

An Earth-residing ghost must check in with the Ghost Council within 5 years of their death, and then once every 10 years after that.

Danny, now training to take on the title of King of the Infinite Realms, is interning with the Ghost Council for a period of time and helping with the Earth-bound ghost check in program when he finds one that has missed check in.

Jason Todd, residing in Gotham City. Died 5 years ago and hasn't checked in with the Ghost Council, or anyone in the realm, within the required time frame.

It is now Danny's job to bring Jason Todd in for his check in, no matter what.

ep 19 : million dollar ghost feels like it's supposed to be the season finale, what with vlad being the main villain and him going after the key for pariah's keep. but the production order says this one goes first, so i guess that's what we're rolling with!

the fucking alarm going off in the school to announce there's a ghost on campus and jazz shouting "DANNY HIDE" only for danny to go ?????whY?? had me REELING. like he doesn't even care and jazz is hyperventilating on HIS behalf.

the main plot of the episode is always fun when vlad is involved. pinning a bounty on danny's head to fuck with him and his family is absolutely villainous and cruel. especially cause vlad is just out for blood while danny is only reacting to being hunted down. poor kid knows there's a target on his back, and i feel like if this show was written a few years later, he would've said "dude go to therapy" as a comeback.

there was one scene that seriously caught my eye. vlad essentially electrocutes danny to a point of almost losing consciousness and turning back to being human. but either danny, barely hanging on to being awake, stopped the transformation part way and kept himself as phantom. or vlad SOMEHOW STOPPED IT??? i'm going with the latter bc im p sure danny had no conscious control over that. especially because he's so drained afterwards that he can't even fight back when he gets tossed into the pile of ghost hunters. but that just makes me question HOW vlad did that. like that is another person's autonomy!!!! you just STOPPED IT BECAUSE YOU CAN???? HOW

jack fenton continues to be such a fantastic character. he's so bull-headed about being an expert on ghosts, it's leading to him fucking shit up by accident. he means well, but at least he's able to acknowledge when he's screwed up. it makes the scene with danny tryna cheer him up by "surrendering" as the ghost boy hit just a little harder. his son's opinion of him matters so much to him, that even the ghost boy presenting himself as free prey didnt get him out of a bad mood until maddie literally put the prize in his hands. she's by far the better ghost hunter between them, but she cares more about her husband's pride that she literally gives the credit to him for capturing the ghost boy. it's so sweet to watch, even though you have to subconsciously accept that they just put their son in a fucking vacuum and they have no idea he's in that tiny ass box.

also another example of danny's anatomy just being fucked because of ghost powers, bc how the fuck did he fit in that box otherwise.

anyway, danny convincing jack to let him out of the vacuum thing because he throws himself under the bus and essentially bashes his human self for constantly forgetting to do chores, including replacing the ectro-filtrator on the ghost portal, was fucking funny. david kaufman seriously needs more props for the absolute blunt line deliveries he does, because i am WHEEZING.

the episode has fun antics, but despite the bounty on danny's head, it doesn't actually put much on the serialization? yeah, they've established that danny is elusive and a ghost that a LOT of people have eyes on. he even calls himself public ghost enemy number one. but not much sticks. especially bc jack sorta just forgets about this temporary alliance he has with phantom in future episodes and goes back to shooting on sight. besides getting definitive proof that phantom is well-meaning and doesn't wanna cause havoc. still, fun episode, danny getting compressed into a box is hilarious.

After Danny became king he had a lot of money he used the money to let the ghost fulfill their obsessions At first, it was the original Roge gallery. Danny ended up making a business that had its hands in everything technus was in charge of the technology, the box ghost would keep inventory, and the lunch lady would make meals for the homeless and anyone else that need them. He was able to let Ember be famous, skulker was a bounty hunter and found find missing people dead and alive. He later realized that there were so many other ghosts that could help the living ones that made clothes, pots, and other things that were lost in time. He even had information about extinct animals, plants, cultures, traditions, and foods from Earth and other planets that no longer exist. Everything was going fine until he was invited to go to an event with a bunch of others hosted by Bruce Wayne.

Waste of Time 

Even after ten long years, Vlad's pet project—the Masters Blasters—were still kicking around. Upgraded gear, flashier armor, louder weapons. They strutted through ghost zones and cityscapes like they were hot stuff, acting like they were still the premiere line of defense against the supernatural.

Danny always found that hilarious.

They showed up like clockwork. Chasing bounty rumors. Hoping to collect a fat paycheck. Boasting that this time, they’d take down the infamous Lost Hunter. They never learned.

Danny didn’t waste his breath on them anymore. The moment they showed up, it was open season.

Download? Shot clean out of the sky with a precision shot to the jetpack. 

Trash? Disarmed—literally—before he could even activate his ecto-shield. 

The third, Vid, tried to negotiate once. Danny broke her gun, crushed her comms, and sent her crawling back to Vladco with a message carved into the back of her chest plate: “Try harder.”

The Blasters weren’t threats anymore. They were background noise. Mild inconveniences with expensive gadgets and no sense of self-preservation.

Danny didn’t take pride in beating them. He didn’t even get satisfaction out of it. It was just routine now. Like brushing his teeth, or checking the safety on his pistols.

Vlad might’ve kept the Masters Blasters running as a publicity stunt, a reminder of his control over public safety. But the reality was simpler:

Every time they ran into Danny, they lost.

Every time they ran into Danny, they ran scared.

And every time Danny let one walk away, it was with one message:

"Tell Vlad: you're wasting my time."

Ever since Phantom brokered a peace treaty between Amity Park and the Realms Valerie has become a kind of paranormal bounty hunter working on behalf of the Infinite Realms.

She’s in Gotham tracking down some amateur demonologists who got their hands on a hellhound summing circles and have been causing all kinds of problems for the local ghosties.

Now if only this pasty faced blonde chick would leave her alone Valerie could do her job.

And All Hell Breaks Loose

Harley was just wandering through one of the areas of gotham where cults tend to hold meetings when she ran into a clearly lost teen girl.

The girl had dark skin, darker hair, and was wearing a yellow and orange outfit with a purple backpack.

It wasn't all that strange to see her in this area given that there happened to be some hotels a few blocks away, but those people normally were better at hiding what they were feeling and doing.

She decided to find out if the girl wanted help. "Hey, kid! You lost?"

The girl looked startled and asked in a suspicious tone, "Why do you want to know?"

"You just don't look like you're from around here, is all," Harley replied, keeping her body language open and non threatening as possible.

The girl was about to answer when a large bright red and black dog jumped through a window and charged at the girl. It seems like she had pretty good reflexes because she shot it with a gun she'd pulled from seemingly nowhere. The dog immediately backed off and ran away.

From the building the dog had come from, Harley could hear someone yell, "Good job, Mark! This is why we don't summon hellhounds without preparation!"

Some of my headcanon facts about House of Suns au.

1. Dark Sun calls all the Sun, Sun, except Servant, because he doesn't consider Servant Sun as Sun. Also, all of the Suns, only Servant Sun wants to call himself Servant and not some variant of Sun's name.

While Dark Sun with Sun is the: "I could make him worse." And "He is not so bad and maybe there are still hopes inside him." Relationship.

Dark Sun and Servant have the same: " You should be addicted to shut the fuck up. --- You want to kiss me so badly it makes you look stupid." Relationship.

2. There are three people who technically couldn't die in House of Sun.

Servant who keeps getting revived anytime he dies, (just like Kenny in South Path.) and keeps dying countless times a day because what is dead is supposed to be dead. The universe is trying to fix the existence of Servant, making him couldn't get to another day without some ridiculous deaths.

SunBOT who lives by the rules of the cartoon, meaning he is usually indestructible and very durable. Also he has a lot of clones under Moon's basement.

Sunny who is a half-ghost, he gets linked with his Solar. Which means as long as Solar still exists, he is still there, wandering around. He likes Danny Phantom without the alive part and has no power except floating (?) and turn solid (?) Also the reason why his vision is terrible and he needs glasses is because His and Solar's codes matched, so the universe decided to split their abilities in physical in half.

3. Cringe Sun is besties with Sundrop (No Moon's Sun).

They are both smarter than people give credit for, with Sundrop having to deal with Fazbear's shit everyday since he woke up and don't have a Moon to give him a heavily low self esteemed and downgrade his intelligence.

Sundrop is also more curious than usual Sun (he has more free time) and he usually spies on and travels on different dimensions a lot to the point it becomes his addiction and his professional job. Intergalactic bounty hunter, or just a Traveler.

He is getting better, though.

And with Cringe Sun, because being smart is based, so maybe from his dimension he is still considered an idiot but from outside difference universe perspective, he is actually pretty smart.

Cringe Sun also has to work his ass off to fix his Solar and find his Moon, who went on vacation so he always has his sunglasses on and he actually lives on vodka and coffee.

Sundrop is the one who always drags his ass back to bed to make him rest.

4. While Sunny has a very good banter with Servant and Goose Sun, and Sun with Sunshine (EAPS!Sun). It is SunBOT who follows Dark Sun a lot and likes his little sidekick.

SunBOT also can turn on and off his intelligence, but he is too dumb to be able to do that to himself.

It is Dark Sun who did that lots of time because he wants someone to do the hating and killing Moon with him sometimes.

Also SUNBOT compared to the others is more unhinged. Dude can be a little sociopath sometimes.

Cass/Danny Weekend - Fun Fact! Day 6

We continue our theme of familial relationships! Today we are going to focus on Danny and, while we don't have to worry about graphic material the same way we did with Cass, there may be some allusions to child neglect and abuse that are never really explored in the show but we know, logically, would never fly in the real world. It's usually played for the laughs, but that's why you might find much more serious applications in fanfiction. Because we're the vivisection fandom, and that's just how we work.

Much like with the basic background post, we don't actually know a lot about Danny's childhood and his relationships with his parents prior to the start of the show. Just the glimpses we receive from offhand comments and the rare flashback scene. Nevertheless, for this post I want to focus on Danny's individual relationships with each member of his family (including Jazz!) before a brief section about how his parents view him in comparison to his sister, because I think there's some really interesting nuggets there.

Let's begin with Jack Fenton. The best episode to watch to understand their dynamic is "Million Dollar Ghost". From this episode we learn that Jack seems to single out Danny more often than not. When he clutters the lab or makes a mess, he singles out Danny to be the one to clean it. We also learn how Jack wants Danny to look up to him, expressed by how fiercely he tries to capture Danny after the bounty is placed on him. And of course despite Danny's frustration with his dad, he does let Jack capture him in this episode to make him feel better.

You can also think of "Bitter Reunions". Vlad offered Danny the world, he promised Danny support, guidance, understanding--all things that Danny currently wasn't receiving from his parents--so long as Danny renounced his father. As we all know, Danny doesn't accept. He protects Jack too, because for all that his father embarrasses him at times, it's still his dad and he does genuinely love him, and nothing Vlad could materially offer would overpower that.

We see in other episodes like "Girls' Night Out" that Jack does try these bonding activities with Danny. He takes him out fishing, probably a trick he learned from the little parenting book he took along with him too. Danny plays it up to Jazz and Maddie as a guys' trip but truthfully, he's not nearly as enthusiastic when he's actually alone with Jack. And that's just because fishing isn't something he's interested in, but just an activity he agreed to do for his dad's sake. And that's a pretty common theme in their relationship.

Jack tries to connect with Danny, but he also. Doesn't really try to meet Danny halfway. We can maybe attribute this to Jack's high expectations of Danny. We'll talk more about Danny and his grades in Day 8, but I wanted to refer back to a comment made in "Micro-Management", which reads: "I'm so proud. Our boy finally has the physical prowess of a 60 year old president. Here's to you son."

From what we can gather from this comment, it sounds like Jack wants a son with more physical prowess, likely so he can take after him and Maddie as ghost hunters. And yes, Danny is capable of that and so much more in his ghost form, but in his human form? Where he struggles to keep up in gym and Sam surpasses him with flying colors? Danny is not really want Jack is looking for in a son.

Think back to Day 5 where we discussed Danny's love for space. The show mirrors many of the old school stereotypes of "meathead jocks" and "mousy nerds" and "mean girl cheerleaders". For all intents and purposes, Danny is a geek, he's a nerd. We already know he's a social outcast that's constantly bullied. He's not the traditional vision of masculinity. And then you have Jack who takes him on a fishing trip, despite knowing that Danny isn't really into that, maybe because… he wants Danny to man-up? We don't know. But there is a disconnect that we see in small little moments like these.

Let's move onto Maddie Fenton. Much like with Jack, there is one episode that showcases their dynamic the best, and that episode would be "Maternal Instincts". Here we learn how Danny had been much closer to Maddie when he was a child; Maddie makes this wistful comment about their relationship. So much like with Jack, there is this disconnect between Maddie and Danny. We can assume that it happened due to his accident and the start of his hero career. We're never really told. However, it might be safe to assume that it happened before the accident, as Danny did not feel safe to share his identity with his mother, despite once being closer to her.

Nonetheless, we can see that Maddie wants that relationship back. He wanted to take this trip with Danny to California hoping it would spark those bonds again. As we know, that's not what happened. Instead, it was planned all along by Vlad. That doesn't mean it all went wrong, we get to see the little things like how they are much more tactile with each other and physically affectionate. Maddie carries Danny piggy-back style without comment. She does make a remark about how he's "clingy" when he hugged her, but that's been met with some split opinions in the fandom about whether it was fond or critical.

What's interesting about Maddie is that she's actually much more permissive than you might think. In the fandom, she's often depicted as the cold, logical one who deals with facts and statistics only. With Jack as the softer one who's more forgiving and has his heart on his sleeve, likely from Vlad's constant disparaging comments about his behavior and intelligence. Realistically though, Jack is much more harsh on the kids.

For example, in "Fanning the Flames", when Jazz and Danny were struggling to focus on an upcoming test because of the recent hysteria around Ember and her music, Jack wanted to throw them in the "Fenton Stockades", the name given to the torture device known as the "iron maiden" the family keeps in their second basement. Maddie doesn't allow him to throw the kids in it of course, even bodily forcing him inside it instead, but we also know from "Mystery Meat" that despite the uncertainty about their devices hurting humans, Maddie still allowed Jack to use a machine on Jazz and injure her.

This isn't the first time Maddie has agreed or turned a blind eye to something that hurt her kids, unfortunately. In "The Fenton Menace", we see Maddie and Jack believe Danny is hallucinating (when he's really just seeing Youngblood, who is invisible to everyone but kids) and try to "fix" him, and by that I mean they "spin the crazy" out of him. Obviously this did not fix the issue and left Danny shaking and hobbling away.

We also see in "The Fright Before Christmas" that Jack and Maddie so often get tunnel vision, lost in their own little world. During many Christmases over Danny's life, they constantly argued about the holiday which resulted in Danny's hatred. Some memorable examples include when he was a baby and was pissed on by a dog due to their inattention. And that time Jazz had to fight a reanimated turkey because they weren't around and the food in their house isn't safe.

They're not perfect parents. They make an effort sometimes, but they're also blind to issues, which we'll get into more after we discuss Jazz.

Let's talk Jazz Fenton. Jazz is something of a mixed bag if you will. By far, she is the most supportive member of his family. She learns early on in "My Brother's Keeper" about Danny's dual identity after accidentally coming across his transformation. She doesn't tell him immediately, because she wants him to feel comfortable enough to come to her. She tries to help him and Team Phantom with their fights, as we see in "Secret Weapons", but her aim is poor, resulting in her capturing Danny in the thermos more often than not, making his life all the harder.

She's equal parts pushy and earnest, as many older sisters can be. She was the first to realize that the evil version of Danny in "The Ultimate Enemy" was not her actual brother, although she couldn't stop him. She was integral in "Girls Night Out" to saving the day. We see in, again, "My Brother's Keeper" that Jazz does talk to him and try to help him open up, it's the reason she pushes him to go to school counseling hoping it would help him.

And yet… she keeps tutoring Dash and let's him in the house, despite knowing he bullies her brother. She tells him to be more social and that he needs more friends, though she knows he's bullied through no fault of his own. In "The Fenton Menace", she also can't see Youngblood and refuses to hear him out when he tries to convince her.

She's not a perfect sister, which makes sense in an imperfect family. But unfortunately for Danny, he's often compared to her.

In particular, we see Jack show preference to Jazz the most. In "Maternal Instincts", Jack is shown to be very protective and complimentary towards Jazz while they're fighting ghosts. In "Doctor's Disorders", Jack tells Danny, to his face, that Jazz is his favorite. We see a reason why this might be thanks to "Teacher of the Year" where Danny is criticized for his poor grades. And as we know, Jazz is the teacher's pet, A+ student, already working on her Master's thesis. Jazz is everything that Danny is not.

And Danny, who can't compare to his father's expectations, also can't compare to his sister's shadow. But we'll talk more about this in the next post.

it started as a good day. he was late to class because he overslept but managed to get in the class before the teacher, in his math class the homeworks that he didnt make, werent checked. he hung out with this friends during the breaks, everything was normal. everything was good. everything was smooth going. too smooth for danny.

it was the last english class of the day. danny was getting anxious as that normalcy was the abnormality for them.

"okay so i dont wanna jinx it but didnt today feel so.. normal?" tucker said as if he read danny's mind.

"shut up, youre gonna jinx it. but yeah it was smooth." sam agreed and danny just nodded. he didnt want to break the perfect illusion of having a normal day by speaking of it.

they entered the class and settled into their seats. they still had a few minutes before mr. lancer would start the class. danny tried to distract himself. a normal day was possible for him. it was okay. it would be okay. maybe it was a gift from the ancients. a normal day for the ghost boy.

he started to relax as mr lancer started his lesson. it was about some other boring book. it would be fine. everything was good.

then his ghost sense went off. danny groaned quietly. and raised his hand to excuse himself to the bathroom. except he was too late.

"theres no way to hide now, twerp." a voice boomed as the infamous bounty hunter entered the class.

"good going tucker you jinxed it." sam said annoyed. tried to find her wrist lasers in her bag. but it was to no avail. apperantly that day was the onlt day sam forgot to bring her wrist lasers to school, she blames her mother for making her chnage bags because hers was 'falling apart'.

"shut up i dont want it to stuck like 'bad luck tuck'" tucker groaned.

the students screamed as they tried to get out of the class but skulker had blocked the exit. everyone rushed to mr. lancer's desk. kwan, dash and dale were on the front in an attempt to protect everyone. danny, tucker and sam were just a little bit more on the right that could see the ghost easier than others.

"what is he doing? this isnt how we do things." danny said searching for an escape.

"is this like a hostage situation? what are we going to do?" tucker asked. skulker didnt attack. just grinned knowing that danny couldnt do anything.

"mr. ghost? as the teacher of this class, may i ask what your terms are?" mr. lancer asked trying to manage his tone.

"terms you say?" skulker turned to danny. looked at him dead in the eye. "my terms are simple. i will collect my righteous hunt, phantom. then you will be free to go."

he was making danny choose. get hunted or get exposed.

"i think you are mistaken, mr ghost. phantom is not here." mr lancer said with visible confusion.

"yeah everybody knows he send his clones to the school while he's fighting ghosts." wes stated as if everything he was saying wasnt bullshit. skulker's laughter boomed in the class.

"as expected. phantom is too much of a coward to tell the truth." he said, still grinning.

"stop with this skulker." danny said, glaring at the hunter. the class turned to danny.

"do you know him, fenton?" mikey asked with confusion as if he was trying to connect the dots.

"of course he does. he's the son of the self-proclaimed ghost hunters." paulina defended even before danny could say something to defend himself.

"yeah, it's like asking a marine biologist if they know an angler fish." star added, making head turn to her with confused eyes.

"my dad wont shut up about them, he could give the fentons run for their money about never shutting up about obsessions." she explained her unique analogy.

skulker was getting impatient. he never once departed his eyes from danny, the useless and obnoxious chattering only made his patient run thinner.

"i will give phantom last one minute, if he doesnt come out now, i will destroy all of you." the hunter threatened the class.

"oh yeah? phantom might come here any second now then your ass will be sorry." dash said with excitement. everyone agreed with 'yeah's and nods.

"he wont come." everyone once again turned to danny.

"danny what are you doing?" tucker asked.

"it was only a matter of time, you know it." danny sighed. he walked towards the ghost only stopped when someone grabbed his arm.

"you dont have to do it, mr. fenton. someone will come to save us." mr lancer pleaded.

"im sorry" danny muttered and removed his arm from mr lancer's grasp.

"alright skulker you want your hunt?" danny tranformed into phantom. "then come on get him." he flew away to keep skulker away from his classmates. to keep them away from the danger he put them in.

the class gasped at the transformation but no one spoke after it. no one moved nor did anyone react any way. the frozen atmosphere broke when wes run to the classroom door.

"wes stop." valerie tried to stop him. but he did something she didnt expect. he barricaded the door with a chair and sat on it to prevent anyone to go outside or come inside the class.

"no one leaves before fenton comes back." he said, more confident than ever.

"oh yeah? and who will stop me if i want to go outside, weston?" dash said threateningly as he made his way to wes.

"i will." kwan stopped his best friend by getting between him and wes. dash was annoyed but he knew kwan could stop him easily if he wanted, so he dropped it and sat on his seat.

"okay everyone, mr weston is right. we will wait for phantom's return and until then i want everyone to go back to their seats." mr lancer said. everyone returned to their seat except wes who was still sitting on the chair he used to barricade the door. the class was chatting about danny, most were confused and others were more aggressive. sam couldnt stand hearing them, she walked to mr lancer's desk and turned towards the class.

"gusy listen." she started to say but everyone was too focused on their own conversation that no one heard her.

"hey guys." she shouted but again no one paid her any attention.

"hey. manson is speaking." paulina cut through their conversations and made everyone quiet down then made a hand gesture meaning 'continue' to sam. sam was surprised say the least to see paulina was helping her.

"thanks? i guess? anyway until danny comes back, i want you to know that this secret cannot go outside of this classroom. i know it is hard to believe and hard to prove but if it convinces someone wrong even a little, danny will be in danger. then amity park will be in danger since no one can protect us better than danny." sam said. most of the class agreed but some were still sceptical about the whole thing.

"cmon nothing will happen if someone accidentally slips up. look at weston. he's been trying to convince everyone but it only made him look crazy." someone from the football team said.

"its only because i want it that way. i had real evidences to expose danny before i realized that if someone wrong believes me they will kill danny without hesitation. do you remember what happened when that european exchange student came?" wes spitted.

"wait you were lying this whole time?" star asked.

"not the whole time, just after the GIW's attack on a literal kid with no evidence. but i also knew i couldnt stop, it would look suspicious so i started bullshitting some 'facts' making everyone believe there was no way danny was phantom."

"oh man, then you didnt believe that danny was only studying here because he had a deal with casper the friendly ghost?" tucker laughed.

".. not my best lie, i'll admit. but did anyone think that could actually happen and danny was a ghost? no. point proven." wes was embarrassed that people still remembered his first bullshit lies.

with wes' confession about purposefully spreading misinformation, the sceptical ones finally understood the severity of the situation. they agreed to keep it a secret but still wanted to ask questions to danny.

when danny was coming back from the fight he was scared. he wasnt ready to face the people he lied to all this time. what if they wanted to expose him? only one person's confession wasnt enough but if the whole class tried to expose him he would have no choice to run away. but how could he even leave amity park? without him all the ghosts would attack with his absence and people could get seriously hurt. he couldnt risk it. maybe clockwork could help him. he knew he shouldnt temper with time but if he were to get exposed, that might be the only way to solve it.

he flew into his classroom, expecting to see his classmates afraid of him or hating him but instead everyone cheered for him.

"you got so many questions to answer, dude. people are curious." tucker joked, trying to ease danny's visible panic.

"but before that. danny i would like to thank you behalf of everyone in the class and in the amity park. you protect us everyday and each day even if you are just a kid. if there was a perfect wor-"

"cut it short, we have questions." wes cut mr lancer's monologue-like thanking. mr lancer sighed.

"thank you danny." he smiled genuinely.

"uhm no problem?" danny wasnt sure how to react. his class okay with him? and even thank him? danny looked at his friends and shot them a 'help?' look.

"dont worry. theyre gonna keep it a secret." sam assured him.

"now they just want to ask some questions." tucker added.

"oh.. oh okay. i'll try my best to answer them then." he tranformed back to his human part. almost everyone asked questions about ghosts, being a ghost and how it happened. danny tried to cut informations best he could when it came to 'how' he became a halfa but other than that he answered them pretty honestly.

at one point dash asked him how he could protect people if hes so weak and danny invited him to a wrist wrestle. danny wom with ease then continued to explain how ghost powers did enhance some of his human strength too. his senses were sharper and he was stronger but had to downplay all of them to see normal. if he was being honest he only explained it through wrist wrestle to see dash's face when he lost.

valerie didnt talk much and danny was more scared of valerie than anyone else but she didnt glare at him or tried to kill him just yet. at some point she just sighed and whispered to his ear that he could ease his anxiety and that she didnt hate him and that she already knew for a little while now. danny wanted ask questions but knew it wasnt the time. he thanked her for not killing him and she replied with a teasing she still had time. it was going to be fine.

danny was still confused on why everyone was being okay with it but he felt happy. happy to see people could accept him even as a ghost. it repaired a part of his belief in humanity. maybe one day he could tell the truth about him to his parents.

What if they were the ones to get upgraded and sent after danny again...

What if vlad goes too far or danny draws the attention of a rich villain like lex luthor?

A villain who doesn't want a government agency involved, no they want bounty hunters to remove a pest.

If danny holds out for too long the villain has no choice but to escalate, do they call in lobo or possibly a red or yellow lantern to hunt him down?

What would jazz do in that situation?
