More Aiden/Aru, Just Straight Up Aruden Hcs...???

I'm deprived, despite just finishing NOI. Let's go.

If you think Aru's a nerd, good LAWD you've gotta meet her boyfriend, Aiden Acharya. His favorite book series is this really obscure lil thing called He Who Fights Monsters and he talks about it NON STOP

One time, when Aiden was sick, Aru brought a shit ton of stuffed animals and arranged them around him, creating a stuffie cult circle

Aiden was Valedictorian for their graduation and Aru was Salutatorian. They only way they made this possible was by ruthlessly competing against each other every test they had to keep their grades higher than that guy in the back of the class named Meth Steve.

Aiden becomes a photo journalist

Aru becomes a writer (basically she becomes Rosh, which is really meta...)

Aru has an INSANE sticker collection. Thermoses with stickers for DAYS.

That being said, she's constantly dehydrated.

Aiden's most popular phrase of 2023 is HYDRATE OR DIEDRATE

They fight a lot, sure, and they banter a lot, sure, but godDAMN their cuddle time is sacred. No fighting, nothing mean, just pure compliments and kisses and hugs.

Aiden is kinda touched starved, so these cuddle sessions are his favorite

Aru knows this, and (we found another way for her to use the Calendar app!) books a cuddle session every few days, receiving a notification and then promptly dragging Aiden to the couch/bed.

ARU PAINTED EXACTLY ONE (1) WALL IN THEIR HOUSE YELLOW AND THAT'S THE ONLY WALL THAT HAS COLOR

Look below at how, when Mineta told AFO to spare Tokoyami, AFO specifically went "..."

He remembers Jirou and thinks, The braying howls of the weak...

He was going to take Tokoyami's Quirk. He took Hawks'. But after Mineta pleaded with him, AFO just straight-up left and didn't take anyone else's Quirk.

AFO saw Yoichi in Mineta.

These scenes are near-identical to each other.

Mineta and Yoichi (at that time) are both much smaller than the normal person at their age

They're both hurt, yet dragged themselves up from the ground to throw something at AFO, to get his attention and make their voice

Both are considered weak, even if they have a Quirk (Mineta's Pop-Off and Yoichi's undeveloped Factor)

The fact that Yoichi got AFO's attention here by throwing a can at him, while Mineta got his attention by throwing a Pop-Off ball; and it stuck.

Mineta's call for his attention landed and actually stuck to AFO. This is unlike when Yoichi and his can bounced off, and AFO kicked him, not listening to him; AFO listened to Mineta and left Tokoyami alone, technically doing what Mineta wanted—to not hurt this person.

AFO just went on to hurt more people away from Mineta's [Yoichi's] eyes so the small weakling wouldn't see.

Yoichi and Mineta both cried to AFO to not hurt in his ways, when AFO was intent on stealing people's Quirks

AFO even stole Hawks' Quirk during this time.

He had time to steal Hawks' Quirk, and though he could've tossed him to the side, he let Hawks stand in his way.

He had the energy. Right after this event, he flew off and left the scene. But he didn't go for Tokoyami immediately.

And this let Mineta play his part, and remind AFO of Yoichi.

"A putrid, festering Quirk Factor."

That sounds like Yoichi, AFO.

Hey hey hey, what did Yoichi throw at him when they were kids?

A discarded can. Garbage.

This chapter (385) where AFO listens to Mineta is literally called [A Youthful Urge].

Mineta told AFO to take his Pop-Off (hurt him) instead. But last time, AFO hurt Yoichi by kicking him; this time, AFO not only listened to Mineta to not hurt Tokoyami, but didn't touch Mineta at all.

Even though this time, Mineta [Yoichi] offered to take that place of suffering.

Yoichi didn't do that back then. AFO just turned on little Yoichi anyway.

Yoichi through his whole existence is literally [the braying howls of the weak]. AFO acknowledges he's weak and idealistic, yet he still loves him.

Side note about this panel, I think it's interesting that in this vision, this was the first time we saw Yoichi's eyes: when he was being defiant, despite being pushed down by someone much stronger than him.

Really characteristic of him, honestly. Yoichi's soft-spoken and frail, but it's always reiterated that Yoichi had a powerful will against his stronger big brother.

Mineta at this moment reminded him too much of Yoichi, because the two scenes are near-identical to each other. Parallels, really.

Cid has a battered old radio in his workshop. It catches a frequency that plays old songs, sometimes nostalgic for couples dancing to the rhythm of soft blues, other times all it plays is rock music and Cid hums the lyrics absentmindedly.

Sometimes Cid can hear soft humming coming from somewhere above him, as silent as the turning of pages. Vincent likes to read, perched most of the time on one of the crates or the wing of one of the planes. Sometimes a rafter, others a chair next to Cid’s as the engineer goes over blueprints and equations.

That day the radio station plays a soft but rhythmic melody that Cid will be the first to admit he doesn’t know how to dance to, but he doesn’t really care as he reaches out to Vincent with an extended hand in invitation. Vincent, who had been watching him swing around the workshop, a feeling of peace and happiness in that smile that carefully keeps the cigarette Cid is smoking in place, accepts Cid’s extended hand. Without warning he is lifted from the chair, twirled around and back in the blonde’s arms.

The song ends and is followed by a softer one that Vincent recognizes from back when he was still a Turk for ShinRa.

They sway together to the voice of the singer who reminds her love that she’s forever theirs.

f1wags so after some recent (very recent) activity between y/n and Oscar, I felt like he needed a little introduction IF he's going to be the newest wag to the paddock!

oscar jack piastri is an australian actor now most known for his role as Peter Parker in the MCU. he made his debut two years ago in Captain America Civil War and now fans are debating if he's the best spiderman yet! the perfect mix of boy-next-door Peter with a sarcastic side behind the iconic mask! Spiderman Homecoming is set to release in theaters January 5, 2025 (two years after the announcement of the movie).

His other roles include The Impossible, In the Heart of the Sea, and The Lost City of Z.

His interests outside of Formula 1 include cricket and chess.

Although there hasn't been an official announcement from either Y/n or Oscar, their friendship so far has been fun to see. Oscar would be Y/n's first boyfriend (as she has previously stated that she has had no time to date due to trying to work toward a full-time Formula 1 seat).

Arms snaked over your side, your back pressed firmly against his chest as he pulled you in closer. His breath was hot against your skin, head resting lazily into the crook of your neck. And though his voice was still rough, very obviously still fighting off the remnants of his sleepiness, he seemed to have enough energy to give you a squeeze.

It did well to wake you up.

With a quiet laugh, you tilted your head. "G'morning, Luke." Your eyes closed as you nuzzled against his nose, feeling his own quiet chuckle tickling against your lips. "Sleep well?" you murmured.

"Mm."

His only reply.

It was almost odd to have him so quiet; now and again he'd be chattering along and filling your ears with only his voice. There was rarely ever a minute you'd go without hearing it; you'd become used to it by now.

Yet this time, he could only pepper your face with little kisses, almost as if still trying to process the fact that you were, in fact, right here in his arms.

"I'm real, you know," you rolled your eyes playfully. "What's gotten into you?"

"Mmh, c'monnnn. What, I can't kiss the pretty girl in my arms?"

Butterfly kisses continued, light and fluttering as they would be. Over your eyes, your nose, your cheek, your chin, your lips—they barely lasted a second before they moved elsewhere, and your quiet laughs soon turned into a little fit of giggles.

"Hey! Not when it tickles!"

You'd both opened your eyes to lock onto each other's, and somehow, immediately you felt yourself regretting that statement.

He was smirking.

The smirk on his face had since grown into a satisfied grin.

He had the audacity to shut you up with a kiss, sacrificing the tickling in favor of tilting your head back to lock his lips with yours. And, ironically enough—in a manner so typical of Luke—it felt as if such tender kisses were a stark contrast from what he'd just been doing.

When he pulled back, he snuggled into the crook of your neck, and you panted for air.

"Idiot…" you huffed.

"Aww, you love it!" He laughed into your skin, drawing you as close to him as possible. There was a beat; a pause, and then he spoke again. "Mmh, hey, baby… Confession?"

You felt your eyebrows shoot up. It wasn't necessarily that his tone had turned serious, but moments like these were quite rare from him.

"What's there to confess?" you reached over to lace your hands together.

Another quiet laugh.

"Ah, well… Kinda maybe had a dream of you…"

A smile poked at your lips.

"Of me?"

"Mhm, of us."

This time, his hand moved to your hip as he pulled you flush against him, grinding into you just enough to slip between your thighs. "…Of last night."

You could tell that he was sincere, if his hard length rubbing against your thighs wasn't enough proof for you. He was warm, and throbbing—you couldn't help but turn to flash him a grin, tapping the tip of his nose. "Awww, Luke. You missed me in your sleep?"
