We love MK, child of un-divorced. The next update will be more gay. And fluffier.
Shadowpeach Bio Parent AU (PREV / FIRST / NEXT )
before saying anything, read the stuff under the cut
About wukong and macaque
Both these bitches did wrong, but remember that MK saw the vision starting from the fight itself, not what happened before. He then read the chapters of the book and read that Macaque also attacked. I personally think he's mostly hurted by what Wukong did, not because it's worse of what Macaque did, but because he idolized Wukong for so long, and while he know he did so many wrongs in the past, his vision of a "hero" dissapeared in this moment. He s mostly dissapointed let's say. Of course it's not the best of things to put tour heroes on a pedal because you will always be dissapointed. I guess MK learned the lesson...
About what MK said in panel 8
Our monkey boy is remembering his own very stupid thing he sacrificied himself without trying to talk it out with the others AND using the circuit on Wukong.
About the posters
Yes they were Monkey King posters. MK ripped them immediately after the vision because he still was not sure was reality and vision and was scared.
About the eye
Because I would prefer no one dies of angst, his eye is fine, it s more like symbolism.

Hella overstim
sky can rut into me like a dog
man can hit me with a bus and I’d thank him
that’s all thanks for coming to my Ted talk 🫡
this is so much good god 😭 first the time anon being in heat and now this akjjfcnjajns
how are the stans of the sweetest boy the absolute horniest. WHO ARE U HORNY SKY STAN
also sorry ive been taking so long with these! i havent been in a writing mood lately haha
cw: reader wears feminine clothes, clothed sex, coochie eating, overstim, fingering, he asks for explicit verbal consent, squirting, a little praise, he's pussy drunk!!! yay!!! not proofread, reader has a vagina no pronouns
minors do not react.
to say you looked good enough to eat was an understatement.
sky couldn’t get enough of staring at your lace trim cami and short little skirt. not to mention the thigh high socks you had on. so instead of just staring at them, he put himself in between them.
“f-fuuuuck! gonna cuuuuum!” and not even a few minutes after he’d been on you, you’d already creamed on his fingers and his face once, the milky substance coating his tongue and making him crave more. he hadn’t bothered to remove any of your clothes, your skirt hiding his face from view.
your legs began to tremble when he refused to stop moving his fingers. you pushed at his head as he bullied your cunt, needy moans turning into weak sobs. "l-lemme go, quit it! 's too much!"
your boyfriend only moaned into your cunt, relishing in the feeling of your clit throbbing against his tongue. moments later he rose to press his lips to yours. sky's fingers crooked upwards and he broke away to laugh at how your legs tried to close in on him.
"'m sorry, sweetheart. you're just so pretty. dressed so fuckin' cute, look at you." sky swears he could drool at how you looked. his favorite place to be was between your thighs. he's had to look at how your thigh high socks complimented your figure perfectly, hugging the soft flesh. he wasn't sure if he wanted to rip them off you or just keep staring at them. while he ended up going for the latter, he couldn't just stare at you.
no, he needed to feel you or he was gonna go crazy. his dick was throbbing, only getting worse when you clenched around him and called his name. sky let out a shaky moan as you came again. "you feel so good around my fingers, sweetheart," he sighed. he finally stopped his movements, staring at you as you tried to catch your breath. your tiny shirt was pushed up your chest, pebbled nipples on display for him. all that sky bothered to get rid of was your underwear.
"can i fuck you, sweetheart? please, i need to feel you," he murmured, never breaking eye contact. you shuddered at his request. his voice sounded so raw and you hadn't even touched him. you could only nod, wrapping your arms around his neck. "need you to say it, (name)."
"yes, i want you to, link. please."
he wasted no time in pushing your thighs back, forcing your knees to your chest. it happened so fast you dont even know when he got his dick out, but in the next moment he slipped into you with ease. sky groaned loudly when he bottomed out, arms trembling in an effort to hold himself up. you felt so fucking good, he felt like he could cum already.
well, why not, he thought. he'd have you to himself all night.
sky slammed his hips into yours with no remorse, the sound of both your gushing cunt and your hips meeting his filling the room. your back arched, body still sensitive from the first couple orgasms. you whimpered weakly as he growled into your ear.
"so good, so good- fuck, gonna cum already-" he panted, his thrusts only becoming rougher. your toes curled as grabbed your hips, angling himself to where he knew he'd hit that spongy spot inside you every time. you keened when he did just that, determined to make you cum with him.
a few more thrusts and he was gone, throwing his head back as he filled your needy cunt. his thrusts wouldn't stop, sky hissing at the overstimulation. you felt so good it hurt, but he couldn't stop, not now. he was gorgeous above you, and you felt your own orgasm approaching fast.
"c-come on, cum," he demanded, somehow picking up his pace. you yelped at the sudden increase in speed. both of your moans increased in volume. "w-wait, mmm, slow down, i'll-"
"do it."
your body seized up, almost unable to handle the force of your orgasm. you sprayed all over the both of you, every thrust forcing more out of you. you cried out, tears falling down your cheeks at the overwhelming pleasure. sky was still going, letting his moans fall freely out of his mouth. "s-so good, pretty pussy's so good, cant stop," he groaned.
"link, too much! slow- fuck! please!" you begged, the overstimulation becoming too much for you to handle. your lover couldn't leave you like this. no, he needed you stuffed to the brim. only then could he be satisfied.
"if i can- fuck, fuck- if i can do it, you can too, sweetheart. don't give up on me now. dressed up so pretty for me, let me reward you for it, yeah?"

HIII could you do Kyle x reader where it's a soulmate au?? plsss and thank uuu
Anon you were so patient with me! Thank you! And thank you for requesting my favorite boy! I'm so down bad for the sweet red head.
Warning: Strong Language, Tooth-Rotting Fluff
Pairings: Kyle x GN!Reader
'Oh my god! I'm going to fucking kill him.'
The tips of your fingers traced the golden ink like sentence on your palm, watching as the cursive font danced across your skin. It happened every morning at eight on the dot, a new sentence would sketch itself into your skin. When it first happened, you thought maybe someone drew on you when you weren't paying attention, especially since the next day the words changed. But the font was beautiful and shimmered in the light, what pen could do something like that?
Later as the years went by you learned that apparently you had a soulmate, and these were their thoughts. Whoever they were scared you sometimes with the things they thought about, usually very violent thoughts. It made you wonder what type of person they were. I mean you were sure they wouldn't act on it; you've thought tons of things but that didn't mean you were a bad person. It almost made you wonder what your soulmate thought of your inner voice.
South Park was a small town, not many people chose to actually live in a town that was riddled with a backwater run down mentality. It was famous for all the wrong reasons, but that meant everyone kind of knew each other, or at the very least of each other. The kids you went to elementary with followed you to middle and you followed them to high school. Now here you were in community college sitting in the library with the few people you could call friends.
Bebe Steven's was the first person to call you a friend, so her friends became yours, adopting you into their little group. A close-knit group of people who cared about you, what more could you ask for?
"I can't do it anymore Wendy, please!" Speaking of the blonde, the poor girl was slumped over the table with her cheek pressed into the math textbook. Her bottom lip was poking out and if you didn't know her so well you would swear those crocodile tears were real.
"Bebe you barley passed the last test, and that's because you were copying off of Nicole!" Wendy sighed as she gave into the pitiful whine of her friend, reaching over to pat the top of her curls.
"I knoooow but can't we just have a little break? Pleaaaase! I need to spill some tea!" Bebe sprung up and you knew what was coming. Bebe had a secret weapon, the most powerful puppy eyes in South Park. Before Wendy could avert her eyes, she delivered the killing blow. "Please Wendy? Just ten minutes~ it's super hooooot tea~."
You smiled softly at the both of them, shooting Wendy a look of pity as you watched in real time her lose the internal battle. Wendy's shoulders slumped forward, and she finally smiled.
"Fine...ten minutes and then we're going back to work."
"Yes!" Bebe cheered as she threw her arms around Wendy, pulling her into a tight hug. "SO, guess who found their soulmate!"
You tensed up at the subject maybe without even realizing it, you pulled your sleeve over your palm and held it up to your mouth. You had a horrible habit of chewing on your bottom lip to keep yourself from protesting the conversation.
"Who?"
"Mercedes!"
"Like...waitress Mercedes?"
"Yeaaah! Ugh she's so lucky! I wanna find mine already! At least you're in the same boat I am." Pulling herself from Wendy, Bebe turned to look at you with a smile.
"Y... yeah. Wait Wendy is too, isn't she?" You muttered past your sleeve.
"No! Wendy already knows hers! She's just not doing anything about it!" Bebe sneered and crossed her arms under her chest, her lips pursed into a pout.
"But...why?"
"I just want to focus on me right now. School is important and I don't know, I've got time." Wendy replied with a shrug of her shoulders.
You stared at her in awe, there were times when you couldn't help but admire her. Wendy seemed like she had it all figured out, like she knew what she wanted from life and wasn't afraid to grab ahold of it.
Maybe you should take a page from her book, start doing things for you. The fear of your soulmate being some terrifying violent person shouldn't stop you from at least trying to find them.
It was as if the conversation was breathing life back into Bebe, she perked up and grinned at you. But when your eyes met hers all you could see was the mischief in them, if you didn't know better you'd swear it was excitement.
"Apparently the closer you get to your soulmate the words on your palm with change! You'll be able to tell what they're thinking in real time! Haaaave yours changed yet?" Bebe sung out, her hands reaching across the table to gentle take yours.
She flipped your hand over, so your palms were facing up, her beautiful done red nails seemed to contrast yours. She traced them across the font on your palm with a hum. "Or are you like Wendy and you're waiting? You've gotta know right?"
"N...no I don't. I've been-", you stopped and bit your bottom lip again, "... kind of afraid to find out who it is."
"What? Why?" Bebe took your hand and gave it a squeeze like she was trying to reassure you to keep going.
That's when you pulled your sleeve up the whole way so she could see the rest of the sentence. Their eyes widened and silence fell over the three of you. You kept your eyes on your lap as you let them read it so you missed Wendy's little head tilt. The words ringing in her ears like she could hear it. No, it couldn't be...could it?
"Well, they're just thoughts, right? It's not like whoever it is will actually do it! Come on hun you can't let that stop you! Just, like, pay extra close to your palm today! There might be something sweet on there if they're nearby!"
You furrowed your brows at that if they were nearby? Maybe it was a little harder to tell when everyone in the school wore gloves because of how cold it was, you included. After a few moments of debating between everything you nodded at her and decided you'd keep your gloves off today. With that Wendy's phone chimed letting your little group know that your ten minutes were up, and it was time to get back to studying, but now you were out of it. You couldn't focus on learning anything else but your palm, watching the font like if you blinked you'd miss it.
But nothing changed, the threat on your palm stayed for the rest of the study session. With a sigh you packed your things and got ready to leave the library, the girls hugging you tightly as they went their own way. Leaving into the halls of the school, passing past other students whose voices seemed to fade into the background. But despite your attempts to smother everyone else out, no one could really tune out South Park's famous boys. Stan and Kyle were standing by their lockers talking and for once it was Stan that seemed to be getting under Kyle's skin.
"Dude, this is the fourth time you've blown me off! Come on, we made these plans last week!"
"I know man, but the band needs me! We've got a gig coming up and we have to get more practice in! I'm sorry Kyle, I'll make it up to you!" Stan shot him an apologetic look.
Kyle sighed and simply rolled his eyes, "Sure dude, one of these days I'm going to cash in all of the times you said you'll make it up to me."
Stan let out a laugh and wrapped his arm around the taller man's neck bringing him down to his level. You smiled at the both of them, you didn't know Stan very well, but Kyle was always nice to you. You admired the fact that he always spoke his mind, whoever his soulmate was had to be the luckiest person on earth. Not only because of how sweet he was, but again he always spoke his mind, there was no guessing at what he was thinking. You peered down at your palm again and blinked in surprise, it had changed.
'He's lucky he's my best friend.'
Oh. Oh.
'Are they looking at me? Do I have something on my face?'
You could feel your heart rate pick up, eyes bouncing between your palm and Kyle. Your head was now on a swivel looking around as if the answers would emerge out of the many groups walking around. When Stan broke away from Kyle with his guitar on his back, the red head began putting his books away. There you stood, glued to this spot watching him with intense eyes. So, when he turned and saw your passionate gaze he couldn't help but flinch on the spot, but he couldn't tear his eyes from you.
Your palm changed again. You couldn't believe it. Just a minute ago you were telling your two best friends about how you were afraid to meet your soulmate and now here he was. This felt almost too cliche, like the universe was tired of you trying to run from it. And now here you were standing in the hall, a few steps away from someone who was supposed to be yours. Did he know? Probably not from how quiet you were and how you liked to keep to yourself. So now here you were with all that knowledge and nowhere to run.
'Their eyes are so pretty; I don't know why I've never noticed before.'
Was he trying to kill you? You felt the compliment go straight to your heart, making it speed up. Your face was turning red at his words, even if he didn't say them, you could almost hear them. You felt something in your chest tug you towards him, like your heart was leaping in his direction and demanding that you listen to it. Kyle watched as you made your way to where he was standing, moving through the halls like nothing else matters.
"Um...hey, is everything okay?" Kyle nervously looked down at you, he couldn't help wondering why his heart was racing so hard.
Sure, you were attractive, but that wasn't all you were. Sure, he really liked your laugh when he heard you talking with Bebe and Wendy, and he secretly wished he made you laugh like that. Sure, you had the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen, but he would never tell you that. How could he? What if you thought he was a freak and oh my god you're saying something and he's not paying attention.
"- so yeah, can you take your gloves off for me?"
"H-huh my gloves? Uh sure." Kyle shook himself out of his trance, he didn't know why you needed his gloves off but that was his fault for not paying attention.
As he removed his gloves you got a glance at his palm looking for any signs of words on his palm.
'I never realized how tall he is.' Those were your thoughts. Your thoughts were on his palm, and he doesn't even realize it yet.
"Did you need to borrow them? Are you cold?" He's asking you with such a soft voice, care laced in his tone.
"No no I just um okay this is going to sound really strange... b-but can you think of an animal for me?"
"An... animal? Like my favorite animal?"
"Sure. That works." You chuckled at the confusion on his face, brows furrowed together in deep thought which was exactly what you wanted.
'Fox.' That's cute.
"Your favorite animal is a fox?" You asked looking up from your palm with a smile.
"Huh but I... how did-" He stopped. The whole situation came crashing down onto him, his mouth opened to say something, but nothing would come out. So now he just looked like a fish gasping for air.
"Yeah I- wow this is it. I think you're my soul-mate Kyle." As you showed him your palm you almost had to laugh about how many times you've flashed it at people today.
Those deep forest green eyes of his watched the golden light on your palm swirl and change as his thoughts did. The tips of his ears turn red as he desperately tries to keep his thoughts under control, soulmate or not he didn't want to scare you off with stupid shit his brain comes up with.
"Is um...is your favorite animal on my palm too?" No. It wasn't.
'His eyes are like emeralds.'
"You think my eyes are like emeralds?"
"You think my smile is cute?" You shot back with a small smirk making him look away, covering his mouth with the back of his hand.
Kyle and you stood in silence for a few moments, hearts racing and nervous shifting from foot to foot. "So, um...my weekend is free do you wanna grab a coffee?"
"I'd love to get coffee with you Kyle~" You let out a laugh, your hand coming up to cover your smile, but it was stopped by his.
The warmth of his hand beating back the chill of yours, they were softer than you thought they'd be. His thumb nervously rubs against your knuckles enjoying the way your hand felt in his, so much smaller but it fit so perfectly. Kyle smiled brightly at your response, a wave of relief washing over him and a breath he didn't know he was holding. He took the first step towards the door with you in tow, a soft glow between the both of you. Something deep inside of you felt complete, like pieces of a puzzle or links of a chain.

Chreon Week: STARS!Leon (Day 5)
There’s a new member in their squad.
Chris has a vague recollection of Jill telling him about a new recruit while he was writing up a report, but he was so distracted that it went in one ear and out the other. He probably should have paid more attention to her, though, because there he is, talking to Wesker about something in the captain’s office.
“That him?” Chris asks Jill, settling into his seat, glancing back at the rookie in the office. He looks young, almost unbearably so. His gaze refocuses on Jill, seeing her nod.
“Yep, that’s him. Fresh out of training, apparently. Showed some sort of promise in the academy. He requested to be put in with us instead of downstairs,” Jill replies, messing with a pen, her gaze also getting drawn to the newbie, then flicking back to look at Chris. “Of course, you’d have known all this if you actually listened to me when I spoke to you…”
Chris huffs at her, knowing that she was just teasing. He opens his mouth to respond when the door swings open, causing everyone in the room to look over.
Chris’s first impression of his new squad member?
He’s pretty.
He’s not the only one to think that, he learns later, but still. High cheekbones and blue eyes that remind Chris of the sky on a warm day. He’s a little awkward when Wesker introduces him to the group, but it’s more endearing than anything.
Leon, that’s his name, is well meaning, even if he sometimes makes dumb mistakes that would have Chris rolling his eyes if it were anyone else. He’s also funny, coming up with dumb quips that has Chris struggling not to crack a smile in tense situations. There are other things too, like the way the corner of his eyes crinkle when he smiles, the glint in his eyes when he’s presented with a challenge that makes him have to use his brain, the sly smile he wears when he flirts jokingly.
That smile gets directed at Chris a lot, when they become closer friends and Leon eases out of his shell. Jill shoots him a knowing look when Chris fails to joke back, red coloring his face. Leon looks strangely giddy each time that happens.
It takes Chris an embarrassingly long time to realize that Leon likes him. And by embarrassingly long, he means around a year of Leon flirting with him. In the end, it’s Jill who has to point out the obvious, and he still ends up not believing her.
Which is probably why he gets shoved into that closet. With Leon.
“Work your shit out, Redfield, or you don’t get to leave,” Jill calls out, causing Leon to raise an eyebrow at him.
So, work his shit out he does. And if the two of them exit that closet with rumpled uniforms and dark bruises on their necks? Well, that’s nobody’s business but their own.

OUR SPRING
013. bros before hoes
a/n. rin pov for this chapter !
July 2022
Challenges and new difficulties never scared or worried Rin.
However, that was only limited to football. Sure, a successful change in career was an amazing feat done by him, and it doesn't compare to moving up a class in mathematics. But in music, he has the other three, as well as the company, and on the soccer field there are 10 other players by his side, as well as the bench, coach and manager.
But within this classroom, he was on his own.
He knew that very well, and his expectations were met the moment he walked in and settled down at a desk.
"Why is Rin in this class?"
"He's delusional if he thinks he can do well here."
"Isn't he really stupid?"
Hate isn't something foreign to Rin. Even before becoming an idol many despised him and his diligence, as well as his skills and abilities. They can't do anything to him; they don't even have the guts to say it directly at him because they know they his fame won't let them get away with it.
What really worried him, was how true their statements were.
"Oi Tada." Rin wasn't one to involve himself in any drama, but this time he was genuinely curious, and was also technically apart of it. He carefully listened to the stranger without making it obvious.
"Don't go around running your mouth. Especially about grades when you've only gotten 60% at best here." Aside from English, Rin would've considered 60% on a test great, to him, a pass was a pass.
'Tada' was offended, immediately lashing out. "I'm sorry you're smart, only three people got As last semester." What kind of excuse was that?
The stranger remained stoic, Rin would've retaliated violently if someone tried to justify their words by calling him skilled. "Then join us three, shouldn't be that hard?"
"The tests here are hard-"
"Doesn't matter. Regardless of how hard it is you have no right to judge someone else and are in position to do so or even try."
The argument was cut short with the arrival of the teacher, but the winner was evident; the calm stranger sat next to Rin. Must be a fan of his if they sat with him without hesitation.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. I already said I was." He had no idea why they kept bothering with him, maybe if he gave them an autograph they'll stop.
"Geez. You're cold."
"Then go sit somewhere else." Rin missed when all his actions and words weren't monitored, now he can't call anyone an idiot or lukewarm without getting cancelled.
"You think I want to sit near that?" He'd rather die than admit it, but the disgusted accentuation of the last word and the gesture towards the rest of the class amused him. "That's what I thought."
"So, what's your name?" They continued speaking. "I'm y/n."
The question proves his guess wrong, you weren't a fan and didn't even know who he was. There's a tiny bit of guilt for assuming otherwise.
"Itoshi Rin."
"Nice meeting you. I'll be seeing you a lot from now on."
"Doubt that." Give it a test or two and the teacher would start convincing him to move back down to standard. "Studying isn't my thing."
"You're so pessimistic." You switch to a whisper, as the teacher assigns work for revision of the previous semester.
"I'm being realistic. I'm shit at school." He wouldn't talk about himself this much with someone outside of his band, but his academic capabilities were no secret, pretty much everyone knew how low his results were.
"So? You can improve a lot regardless."
"Easier said than done."
"I was bad at math last year."
"Your idea of bad is anything under an A." It's a guess, most people who were good at school would rather die than get anything that wasn't outstanding. Rin acknowledges how suffocating perfectionism was, especially when people invalidate the sense of disappointment just because others would kill for the same result; now he sort of understands how other soccer players felt.
"I guess that's true." Rin scoffs at your agreement. "But I've done a lot worse than a B."
"Can't be that bad."
"47% was my first result last year." It's pretty good in comparison to Rin's results, but if a pass was a pass, then a fail was a fail. "Then I got around 70%." You probably ended up investing in tuition if you improved that much.
"Then 30%." That sounded a lot more relatable to Rin.
"You weren't wrong about bad."
"See? But then I got an 87% after that."
"Are you here just to show off your grades?" It came out coldly, but he didn't say it with hostile intentions.
"No, my point is, anyone can improve."
"Don't bother, I can't get a tutor."
" You don't need a tutor either, I didn't need one." But we're not the same. Rin's so tempted to say it out loud, why were you trying so hard to help him?
"Fine. I'll give you a term and if you were wrong don't even bother."
"Deal."
Rin's happy.
He can't help but grin (a rare occasion) at the 75% in bright red, you really weren't lying when you insisted he'd be fine. It's not exactly perfect, nor an A, but it's such a significant improvement and that's all that matters; he's proud of himself.
"See? I told you you'd do better. Well done." You pat his shoulder, as you're both on the way to the station.
Even if you were wrong about him, he'd still be content. Not only you were efficient at teaching, but you were also kind, and a generally comfortable person to be around. Nothing you said was unnecessary or illegitimate, you were honest but not harsh.
Rin's opened up to you a lot. From the reason why he quit soccer to another potential career change in the future. It didn't matter what it was since you always listened without judgement.
"I can't take any credit, it's all yours. You're the one who taught me everything. He still can't understand why you think of him so highly, you're the one who put most of the effort into making sure he could perform well, while maintaining your own grade simultaneously.
"Don't discredit yourself."
Before Rin can respond, you continue speaking.
"It was you who ultimately decided to join the advanced class, you put a lot of effort it without ruining the rest of your schedule. Be proud of yourself Rin, most people can't even dream of confronting their struggles. It's scary to try something new."
Rin agrees with the last statement, even if he did it with the expectation of giving up quickly.
"y/n."
"Yeah?"
"Thank you."
"For?"
"Everything." For defending him on the first day. For helping him. For believing in him.
"That's what friends are for, no?"
Friends. The closest to those were his bandmates (or as Reo calls it 'family', with him as the doting parent and Hyoma and Rin as the 'kids'), or teammates, who he doesn't even speak to anymore. You're probably the first person to willingly talk to him normally, not because you're forced to or interested in his fame.
Rin pulls you in for a hug, earning a surprised gasp from you. He releases you quickly, after processing what he just did.
"Sor-"
But before he can finish apologising, you hug him back, to Rin, the affection is foreign yet welcomed.
July 2023
Rin tosses his phone onto his bed, as he drops his school bag on the floor. He'd never tell him but the conversation with Hyoma had a smile tugging at his lips; both at how ridiculous is was and how it reminded him of you.
There's a deep sense of gratitude Rin has, that two of his close friends are dating; because he cares for both of you. He knows very well that you're both amazing people (even if he does slander Hyoma constantly) and only wants the best for your relationship.

what if, after yennefer rescued dandelion from rience, we saw the rest of their conversation, and then they had sex because yennefer is lonely and FOND of him; obsessively canon compliant
The pair sat in the near empty inn, watching the embers of the banked fire. Heavy thoughts lent themselves to heavy silence. Yennefer ought to rise from the table. She hadn’t intended to spend her evening with Dandelion—never mind that the proprietor had yet to return with her wine. The service left much to be desired. Inexplicably, she remained in her seat.
“Oh, you’re staying?” Dandelion asked, sweeping his somber, contemplative mood aside as easily as drawing open a curtain.
He sprawled back in his chair and cleaned chicken remnants from under his fingernails with a pen knife. It was, beyond any doubt, the closest thing to a weapon he had on him. But Yennefer caught his gaze flicking towards the door in uncharacteristic hypervigilance. She had no need to skim the surface of his thoughts to confirm that he felt vulnerable and unenthused at the idea of being left alone.
“Someone ought to look after you. I’m not convinced you won’t do something stupid instead of immediately returning to Redania like I told you.”
“You saved my life so now you’re responsible for it?” Dandelion’s tone was all levity, despite the seriousness of the matter. Yennefer’s responding laugh rang hollow.
Dandelion leaned forward conspiratorially, chin settling on his hand. “I don’t make a habit of admitting to mistakes, but you did save my life. I’ve already thanked you and promised to rehabilitate your reputation, but I find it’s not enough. I was wrong about you.”

🩸death
Lost in thought, he sat there. His blue eyes moved slowly but with control, surveying the land that stretched out before him. It was quiet. Here and there one could hear the trees rustling, but it was quieter than usual. The animals that lived in the forest were barely audible. As if something was about to happen. A few days ago, there had been loud explosions not far from their border. Everything seemed to be on alert. Even the thinnest blade of grass remained still, as if it knew something was approaching. A tension could be felt in the air, the smell of burning was heavy. The snow, which still covered the ground a little, lay silent and frozen, making every step sound treacherous if you didn't know how to move in it.
Koiji sensed all of this as he sat here, keeping an eye on his home, as was his job. And yet his thoughts wandered from time to time. Lost in a maelstrom of questions and feelings that he could not silence. He should push all this aside and concentrate on the fact that intruders were possibly already here - or would try to penetrate further into the forest.
He looked to the side for a moment and heard a rustling in the bushes, but it was only a mountain hare fighting its way through the branches blocking his path. The soft fur at the tips of Koiji's ears moved gently as the wind picked up more, making the fine ends dance in it. He hadn't seen Arun and Oruro for a while. Not even after the explosions. Were they all right? They were stronger than him, he realized, but that didn't exempt them from danger or potential trouble. He would love to have them with him again, it had been too long since he had last seen them.
Lost in his thoughts, however, his gaze darted forward when he heard the hissing sound of an arrow cutting through the air and causing it to whistle. The arrow had not been aimed at him, they did not seem to have noticed him. But it seemed to be a marker they had placed. Damn. He should have paid attention! Why hadn't he run further ahead? They had already made it this far! Laying his ears back, he drew his bow and an arrow and repositioned himself slightly to keep the intruders in sight. They were a group of men fighting their way through what was unfamiliar territory for them.
Koiji felt himself tense up. He had already fought many times. But he was not a fan of killing someone. It was difficult for him, even though he knew that his task made it necessary. And the protection of their homeland made it unavoidable in the long run.
The smell the men had on them was the same as when the explosions had occurred. So they had been responsible. However, the way they acted and looked did not bode well for him. Koiji tightened his bow, aiming at one of the men from his hiding place and a safe distance, before his arrow was aimed and skillfully cut the air almost silently, hitting said target in the leg to immobilize him.
"Agh!" a cry was heard before the man held his leg. Everyone immediately stopped and looked at the injured man. "That arrow, so it's true. Men, watch out, we've got one of those Warders around us! Find him and take him out!" he ordered. Koiji's eyes fixed on the group before he changed his position. Quietly and quickly, the Viera ran through his familiar territory before drawing and firing another arrow. It hit one of the men in the arm, who also gasped in pain. But another one of the troop immediately looked in his direction. "He must be there!" he shouted and pulled out a firearm. Koiji widened his eyes for a moment and scurried off to change position again. He hadn't seen him directly, but the man decided not to take aim, instead firing several shots wildly in his direction. The bullets whizzed past Koiji as he dodged, but one hit him in the thigh and shot through it. "Gh...!" He gasped softly and looked up, trying to be quiet.
"There!" shouted another man and immediately sprinted at Koiji. The Viera drew his bow and fired the arrows, but in the heat of the moment he could only fire grazing shots that would not immobilize the others. Ignoring the pain, he hurried through the bushes, closely followed by one of the men. But he heard the footsteps of the others, who also took up the chase. He would get no further with the bow. He put it back on and pulled out his long dagger. He couldn't. He could not run away. This was not his job! This was not what would protect his home! This thought flashed through his mind. Tensing, he tightened his grip on the dagger before running towards a tree, jumping against it, bracing himself with his feet and using the force of the movement to push himself away from the tree before knocking his pursuer over and ramming the dagger into his shoulder.
"Aargghh!" the man cried out, but before Koiji knew it, hands grabbed his arms and held him in that position. What the-?!
Contrary to the fact that he would let go if he was hurt, the man used this moment to tie Koiji to him. The Viera now squirmed under his movements, feeling the firm grip clinging to him like a crab whose claws dug into his skin and only let go when he wanted them to.
"Here, quick! I've got him!" the intruder shouted to his group, who quickly caught up with them.
Koiji was flexible. So he lifted his leg and braced his knee against the man's injured shoulder, who cried out in pain, which was why he let go of him with at least one hand. The Viera rolled to the side to escape the grip and used the resulting movement to release the other grip as well, otherwise his opponent would dislocate his arm completely. He hastily stood up and reached for his dagger before he was struck in the stomach. Filled with pain, he gasped and backed away before a sword came hurtling towards him, which he managed to parry with his dagger. A fight broke out between Koiji and the group, who encircled him further and further.
His mind was racing. All he could do now was to keep them at bay for as long as he could. Either until reinforcements arrived or until they gave up and left. To render them all harmless, that would involve a great deal of effort on his part. That was clear to Koiji. But the will to live and persevere was not broken. Nevertheless, it became more difficult as time went on. The intruders' blades caught him again and again, leaving cuts and injuries that made it increasingly difficult for him to remain steadfast. Even if Koiji wounded them and fought them back, their numbers were simply too great to take them all out alone.
"Let me shoot!" shouted one of them. A tall man laughed. "What? No! Look at him! He's a rarity! Maybe we can cut off his ears and sell it for a lot of money when we get back! Or better still, we can just take him with us and he'll be our slave! That would be something!" he laughed.
"I mean, look at him! And he's got a lot of stamina, the way he's stood up to us for so long. I think that can be put to good use in many things!" the other men laughed and probably agreed with him.
<< You are a forest guardian. It is your duty to protect our home. And if it is with your life, then you are willing to give it, for it serves the higher purpose and survival of the community. Our ancestors will welcome you with honor and open arms.>>
Suddenly his mentor's words flashed through his mind. Was that what he wanted? Was it an honor for him? Koiji became careless as his strength left him and his wounds became increasingly troublesome. A fist hit him again in the stomach area, causing him to fall to the ground. Supporting himself with one hand, he gasped in pain and looked into the snow, which was stained with red drops of his own blood. "At last. We've got him so far! What a tough guy!"
The man directly in front of him reached for his ears and grabbed him, pulling him up, Koijis face towards him. Koiji gasped in pain and opened his eyes, gazing into the deep dark eyes of the man in front of him. Into the face of a horrible man, whose mouth formed into a broad and disgusting grin of satisfaction.
"Annoying, isn't it?" he now asked the ironic question to the Viera and knocked the dagger out of his hand. "Really really annoying. But we found you, so we'll find others like you as well." He pulled Koiji all the way up so that he was almost standing again, but this was accompanied by a painful gasp as he continued to pull him up by the ears. Koiji's hands grabbed the arm of the man. His fingernails dug into the other man's skin as he tried to loosen his grip.
"Hahaha!" But his enemy only laughed contemptuously. "Go to sleep, little bunny. Being so cheeky won't win you any points." With a swing, he threw Koiji to the ground before the leg swung out and pushed him over the edge of a small embankment into a ditch with a powerful kick. His body rolled down before his back hit a tree. "Agh!"
Filled with pain, the otherwise gentle voice now rang out, battered by pain and exhaustion. He realized that he had no strength left. He could take no more. Was this his end? Like this? In a ditch?
Overwhelmed by a group of intruders? Miserable, weak, unable to do his duty? Would they hate him? Would Orun and Aruro miss him? Slowly, he closed his eyes, exhausted. Oh how wonderful the cool snow was under his skin. Cold. Icy. Numbing. Quiet.
Koiji almost drifted away when he noticed a commotion. The men seemed to be in an uproar and many footsteps followed. Shots rang out from the firearms they were carrying. But Koiji could also hear arrows cutting through the air again and seeming to hit their targets. "Come on, spread out!" one of the men now shouted.
"Do you see him anywhere?" shouted one Viera to another. A blond and a gray-haired Viera had burst out of the trees, almost like an ambush out of nowhere, and had skillfully pushed the men back with a surprise attack. Since there were two of them, it was much more efficient to fight against a larger group than alone. Orun and Aruro quickly pushed the men back and aimed skillful shots directly at the deadly spots. They quickly took out a few of the men, while others were able to evade their attacks better than expected.
"There's blood back there!" Oruro called to Arun. He nodded to him in understanding before Oruro ran to the spot. Kneeling down briefly, he took hold of the blood-red snow before his gaze quickly wandered over the land. It was hardly long before he noticed the embankment. He quickly ran forward and discovered Koiji lying there bleeding from wounds. "Koiji!" he shouted. He jumped to the embankment and slid down it before examining the Viera. His hand went to his neck. When Oruro was sure that Koiji was still alive, he nodded with relief. "Come on. You've held out well. It's over now." he spoke to him calmly.
Koiji opened his eyes cautiously. Oruro? Was that really possible? "I ... was ... I was too weak." he spoke softly, ashamed of himself even in this situation. Oruro smiled at him. "Weak? You weren't weak. You alone against so many ... you were very strong and you held out well." Oruro's words were calm as he carefully helped Koiji up. Taking Koiji's arm, he put it around his own neck before supporting Koiji and climbing up the slope with him. "It's almost over." Was that it? Was it really almost over? Koiji felt a great sense of relief. Oruro's smile had seemed so confident and reassuring. Surely he was right. Now that they were there, it would surely be over soon. At the top of the embankment, Oruro carefully set Koiji down before standing up. "Stay right here. And don't move."
Koiji surveyed the scene before him. He saw Arun still fighting one of the men. The others were already lying on the ground, not moving or barely moving at all. "I've got him, Koiji is here with me!" Oruro called out to Aron. Then Oruro turned to Koiji once more and knelt down in front of him. "You did it." he smiled at him and carefully ran his fingers through Koiji's hair.
DANG!
"....!"
Koiji flinched.
DANG! DANG! DANG!
Loud bangs. Gunshots. Again and again. Out of nowhere.
Koiji flinched several times. Then he raised his hand and grabbed his cheek. Blood had splattered on his face, several times all over. The blue eyes looked up at Oruro almost slowly. Oruro looked at Koiji, widening his eyes. Then they both looked down. Oruro's clothes were turning red. Deep red. Quickly. Bitterly. In the chest, where the lungs and heart lay, and in other places. Oruro looked up once more into Koiji's eyes before his body fell forward powerlessly. Koiji caught Oruro in his arms. He looked at his friend in disbelief as he lay in his arms, no longer moving. He carefully turned him a little and saw how the blood continued to stain his clothes. The eyes were empty and fixed. The lifeless body weighed heavily.
"...O-oruro.....?"
Stunned, Koiji looked at the dead body of his friend in his arms. His eyes wandered almost mechanically up and down to Arun. Striking down the last man, Arun turned around before widening his eyes. "NO! NO!!! NO!!!" he shouted loudly, full of anger and desperation, before running off in the direction of Koiji and Oruro. "A-aruro wa-" but before Koiji could speak any further –
DANG!
DANG! DANG! DANG! DANG!
With each shot, with each bang, the white-haired Viera flinched and pressed Oruro's body against him. But then he looked up hastily. Arun, who had been running until a moment ago, almost fell to the ground like a statue that had been knocked over. Koiji's eyes widened. His gaze fell on the intruder who had fired. It was the man who had grabbed him by the ears and spoken to him. His face had a satisfied and so repulsive grin before his hand fell powerlessly to the ground, letting go of the gun, and the last breath of life finally left his body.
Silence. No rustling. No wind. No animal could be heard. Nothing.
A loud whistling sound caught Koiji's ears as he stared at Arun in disbelief. Almost like a puppet, Koiji began to move, pulling Oruro with him as he crawled to Arun. He carefully put Oruro down before pulling Arun into his arms.
"A-arun..." he whispered softly, seeing him struggling to breathe.
Arun slowly opened his eyes and looked exhaustedly at Koiji. But he was smiling. Arun smiled. It wasn't easy for him. But he seemed to put all his strength into speaking. "Koi."
Koiji shook his head hastily, but Arun ignored it. "... Go." Arun could be heard speaking. Almost just like a breath. Koiji stopped shaking his head. "N-no!" Arun smiled. "Yes. Now... you can... be free. I k-know that... you stayed here for us." He closed his eyes briefly and coughed a little, blood running down the corner of his mouth. But he opened them again and shakily lifted his hand to lay it on Koiji's cheek.
"Go. b-be brave. Always be brave. You can do that. We are always ... always with you." He gasped for breath. "Follow your dream and don't die alone here. T-the w-world has so much better f-for you to .... to offer." Koiji's gaze was full of pain and disbelief as he heard Arun's words. His hand lay on Arun's. "B-but..." Koiji sobbed. "You can do that. I k-know it. Do... do it for us too. Please. Be... brave ... be ... brave." Large tears flowed from Viera's sky-blue eyes, which seemed so cold and dull when they were otherwise so warm and bright. "...I... o-okay... I'll do it." he whispered to his friend.
Arun smiled at the answer. "Thank you," he breathed, saying it heavily and quietly. Slowly, the other's eyes closed before Koiji felt the last of his strength leave his hand, which fell lifelessly from his cheek. The Viera's chest heaved one last time - just a little, barely enough for a full breath. Then he lay motionless.
Koiji sat there staring at Arun. He stared as if he would never want to or be able to blink again. His head lifted and turned to the side before his eyes also looked at Oruro. He shakily raised his hand and pulled Oruro towards himself before pressing the two Viera close to his chest.
All of his own physical pain was numb. Unimportant. Insignificant. Everything was so insignificant and numb. The whistling in his ears grew louder and unbearable as his eyes stared at the two dead Viera in his arms.
A trembeling suddenly seized the Viera's body, strong and uncontrollable. But not because of the cold, but because of what he realized. They were dead. They were gone. Gone. They had died before his eyes. In his arms. They had given their lives.
The trembling increased even further. His own heartbeat, which had almost stopped, now skyrocketed, beating as fast as if it wanted to let the pain burst out of his chest. In terror and shock, he couldn't take his eyes off them. Where the tears had dried up for a moment in disbelief, they now welled up in his eyes and flowed down his cheeks unstoppable.
Silence in the forest. Silence in the mountains. Not a sound to be heard. But a loud, bitter cry full of pain, despair and infinite agony seized every corner of the forest. It echoed off the walls of the mountains, resounded through tree and bush and made the leaves tremble as they watched the helplessness that enveloped the Viera. He screamed as loud as he could, as loud as his body would allow, while the tears did not stop and the bodies of Arun and Oruro werepressed close to him. Alone. Life taken. Everything lost. And it had been his fault.

The Pacific Episode 2: First Fight and Goodbyes
John knows logically that he should feel the pain. Knows that the skin of his hands and forearms has been seared straight off from the intense heat of the machine gun that he’d held with his bare hands. Knows that he’d watched countless marines die, painfully, brutally, inhumanely.
But despite this, John cannot feel much of anything except the anxiety that has built up inside his veins, an anxiety which threatens to burst forth from his capillaries in a spray of precious, life blood. But it is not the Japanese he is fearful of. It is not death that has his heart pounding with relentless trepidation. The dread that quivers beneath his skin is the thought of losing Manny, his friend, his brother.
Manny, who’d broken bread with his family, prayed with his mother, and cared for his siblings. Manny, who should have been with him, should have been right at their side, like always. Manny, who’d saved his life sometime in the heat and blur of the battle last night as John had run desperately through the jungle, weighed down by chains of ammo to feed their machine guns, to obliterate the Japanese. John still feels the heat of Manny’s hand in his before they’d both slipped off into the foliage in opposite directions.
He will not rest until he finds his brother. Will not rest, even though J.P. watches him with careful, concerned eyes. Will not rest, even after Colonel Puller praises him for the mass murder he’d committed hours ago. Will not rest, even though his bones are weary with exhaustion, even though his muscles ache with severe exertion.
Heart a heavy hammer against his ribs, John backtracks through the jungle in the fading light of day. Walks past bloody, torn corpses of both marines and Japanese alike. Grips his pistol tight, like perhaps it might protect him from what he may find.
Manny rests face down, chains of ammo circled around his body, dirt-crusted fingers wrapped around his gun. John swallows over the aching lump that has formed in his throat. Places a hand on his brother’s shoulder and pushes him over, face-up. John’s world slowly collapses at the sight of Manny’s empty, staring eyes. His heart quivers with distress as his bloody hands tremble above his lifeless body. Manny is gone. Cross dangling from his neck. Manny is gone. Dog tags intertwined with faith. Manny is gone.
John watches him for what feels like hours. Tries to will his brother’s soul back into his pale, injured body. Tries to remember the feeling of his palm against his, so warm, just hours ago. He places his hand over Manny’s heart, feels nothing, hears nothing. Swallows back his misery, his loss, his agony. He grips Manny’s cross with his injured hand, lowers his head in prayer and whispers, “Thank you and goodbye, my friend, my brother.”

More Aiden/Aru, Just Straight Up Aruden Hcs...???
I'm deprived, despite just finishing NOI. Let's go.
If you think Aru's a nerd, good LAWD you've gotta meet her boyfriend, Aiden Acharya. His favorite book series is this really obscure lil thing called He Who Fights Monsters and he talks about it NON STOP
One time, when Aiden was sick, Aru brought a shit ton of stuffed animals and arranged them around him, creating a stuffie cult circle
Aiden was Valedictorian for their graduation and Aru was Salutatorian. They only way they made this possible was by ruthlessly competing against each other every test they had to keep their grades higher than that guy in the back of the class named Meth Steve.
Aiden becomes a photo journalist
Aru becomes a writer (basically she becomes Rosh, which is really meta...)
Aru has an INSANE sticker collection. Thermoses with stickers for DAYS.
That being said, she's constantly dehydrated.
Aiden's most popular phrase of 2023 is HYDRATE OR DIEDRATE
They fight a lot, sure, and they banter a lot, sure, but godDAMN their cuddle time is sacred. No fighting, nothing mean, just pure compliments and kisses and hugs.
Aiden is kinda touched starved, so these cuddle sessions are his favorite
Aru knows this, and (we found another way for her to use the Calendar app!) books a cuddle session every few days, receiving a notification and then promptly dragging Aiden to the couch/bed.
ARU PAINTED EXACTLY ONE (1) WALL IN THEIR HOUSE YELLOW AND THAT'S THE ONLY WALL THAT HAS COLOR
The rest of the walls are plagued with pictures that Aiden took, all of them of their families.

Makings of a Crew
"Is every day gonna be this crazy with you?"
Maybe these people are exactly what Zoro needed
(opla fanfic, ao3 link)
It could not be said that Zoro's life was boring. He never lacked a fight and the problems usually found him before he had to put any effort into finding them. No pirate worth the bounty was all that subtle. So maybe that's why he didn't notice at first. When Luffy crashed into his life, bringing freedom and the chance to kick Axe-Hand Morgan’s ass, it was just another fight to be won. And after that? Well, they were running from the marines, so it just made sense to get on the ship and he could hardly leave from there and the one day just kept happening after the other. But Luffy was bouncing from one adventure to the next, an unstoppable force on his path to the Grand Line and for the first time in a while Zoro noticed that he had been bored. Or not bored. Stuck, maybe. Maybe knowing your goal alone wasn't enough, maybe sometimes you had to stand on a table and declare it to the world, no matter the consequences. He had lacked the momentum and the direction needed to move forward. His captain had given him that at least.
~
There was an easy camaraderie to be found in Usopp that was unfamiliar to him. Within five minutes of meeting he and Luffy had become the best of friend and Zoro and Nami were left to stand there and marvel, before being swept up. Usopp simply welcomed them in, introduced them to Kaya and tried to help them get a ship, as if that's simply what you did for people. There was something bizarre, something mundane in a way that Zoro hadn't known in a while, about being included in conversations about whether or not Kaya liked liked Usopp. About how any of his lack of engagement was easily smoothed over with jokes and stories and about how easy it was to play along, to hype Usopp up and complete the and only make fun of him a little bit for it. His friendship with Kuina had been so different from this, carefully built on understanding the other, on respect and ambition, expressed through childhood vows and teasing. This was new, watching Luffy and Usopp's goof around on deck. Something new and worth protecting.
~
Falling into a rhythm with the damn waiter was so easy, Zoro almost resented it. Sanji was, by all accounts, an idiot. Weird about women, almost to eager o be helpful, yet always ready to be a bastard and surprisingly willing to join Luffy and Usopp in their shenanigans. But there was something so familiar about fighting at his side. About how he gave as good as he got, about how fun it was to throw insults at him and seeing his own delight reflected back. He might be someone Zoro could trust with his back.
~
Maybe it was Zoro's mistake to assume that he and Nami were on the same side. From the beginning there was a solidarity between them, in having to deal with Luffy being Luffy, throwing each other exasperated looks at the worlds bullshit around them. He had assumed an understanding, a similarity between them. Doing what has to be done but waiting to be freed without knowing it. Stuck like him. And maybe that part had been correct. But Zoro had always known himself, had been steady in his path. He had assumed that in her as well. In the end only Luffy had seen how wrong that was, simply by not assuming anything at all. And Nami turned to them for help. Trusted them enough to have her back. You are part of this crew, Zoro wanted to say and was glad that Luffy did it for him. And I will protect this crew with everything I have. I will not fail Luffy and I will not fail any of you ever again.
That's what I can give you.

I've seen the collaboration with Milgram drinks and considering that they are specially personalised for each character I decided to find some symbolism in the drink's contents.
Because my last posts had been with Muu, I decided to begin with her. ~🐝
(mentions of suicide, murder! )
Translation: (It was done with some apps so I'm not very sure how good is this translation, but let's hope for the best!)
~Yuzumitsu syrup~🥤(I think it should've been yuzu and honey?)
~Lemon~🍋
~Whipped cream~🍨(the second one looks a little bit like in the photo)
~Honey~🍯
Now let's start!
~Yuzu fruit~
"Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is native to East Asia, specifically China and Japan. It is a cross between a mandarin orange and a pomelo, and is known for its unique flavor and aroma. The fruit is typically small and round, with a thin, bumpy skin that is bright yellow when ripe."
-> "Yuzu has been an important part of East Asian culture for many centuries. In Japan, the fruit has been associated with the aristocracy and the imperial court, and was often presented as a gift to the emperor."
To sum it up, Yuzu is a symbol of wealth and luxury.
This easily links to Muu as she admits that she comes from a rich family and she is often provided with everything she needs in the interrogation questions, but also in voice dramas. Even her second MV in where she is portraited as the queen bee is a good example of her higher status. Funnily enough, to fit the bee theme she is given honey in shape of larvae, which has another similarity with the description below where the emperors received Yuzu as a gift.
->"In Chinese art, yuzu has been depicted in traditional Chinese paintings, particularly those related to nature. Yuzu is depicted as a symbol of longevity and auspiciousness(promising success) ."
Again, because of Muu's higher status, she was meant to have a very successful life, if her murder never happened. She admits having received many model scouting offers due to her natural beauty and her mother's career. Also, a lot of money means that she can pay for her medical needs so, if not for some accidents or some sort, she would probably have lived a long life.
->"People heralded yuzu as a powerful fruit for more than its medicinal properties and its ability to leave your skin silky smooth after a soak. It was also regarded as auspicious due to its bright, sunny color and strong, fresh fragrance. Many believed soaking in a yuzu bath on the Winter Solstice invited health and fortune for the new year. Some even believed the powerful aroma could ward off bad luck and exorcise evil spirits!"
Okay, here a many things that I want to cover up, so I'll make it short.
Medical properties and smooth silky skin can again link to Muu being very healthy and very beautiful. But what I want to point out is the yuzu bath, which is said to ward off bad luck and exorcise evil spirits. Muu often says in her first VD that Rei was a bad person and was the actual cause of her misfortune. This fruit could be a metaphor of her crime, because Muu by murdering Rei (in her pov)she got rid of the source of her bad luck and suffering.
Even the Winter Solstice itself points this out. By the standard definition winter Solstice is marked as "the symbol of death and rebirth of the Sun". Muu is often portraited in yellow colours, so by thinking of her as the sun we can interpret this way: Muu's old bullied self died as soon as she killed Rei and was rebirthed as a more confident person freed of pain.
If Muu were a fruit, I would say that Yuzu will definitely be a perfect choice, so no wonder Milgram chose this fruit for her drink.
~Lemon~
->"The lemon has come to symbolize many — sometimes opposing — ideas, depending on the cultural reference point. Sometimes it is considered a symbol of longevity, purification, love, and friendship, and other times it is seen to be symbolic of bitterness and disappointment. Catholic tradition linked the fruit to fidelity. Because it was imported at great expense to some countries it became a symbol of wealth."
I will not explain again the longevity, purification and wealth part as it will be just me repeating myself. Instead, I will talk about friendship which is an important theme to Muu's character.
I will begin with Muu's views about it, because I think it will be a better introduction.
"Friends aren't like that you know. Rather than using each other for something, we just get along because we're comfortable around each other. That's all."
Muu thinks that friendship means to be yourself without the fear of being judged. To talk happy about silly topics, to express yourself in a comfortable atmosphere, to get along with people that understand you. At the surface, Muu's idea of friendship it's the standard definition. However, if we dig just a little bit, we easily see that Muu doesn't truly respect her ideals or rather she is using this definition to the extreme. When confronted by Es about Haruka's intention to keep her safe, Muu admits that she already knows about it. She is happy, because Haruka wants to protect her from a possible guilty verdict. After that, she explains that she will not stop him from killing himself if that's what he wishes, because according to her "Isn't friendship about letting your friends do the things they want?". Again, just by definition, it is a correct affirmation. Friendship means to help your peers achieving what they want and supporting them on their journey. But Muu takes this definition to the extreme. Friendship doesn't always imply that you should let the person you care about to do whatever they want. This is just negligence. Sometimes they need a reality check or words to convince them that what they want to do at the moment it's not the best choice and should find another solution or simply to abandon that idea.
Muu then ends her friendship talk with an interesting sentence. "Then what is friendship? You're together because it's beneficial for everyone involved, aren't you?"
By theory, what she says is true. Friendship is needed in humans life, because we can't properly live without other persons to interact with. Even if we talk about a connection that it was made simply because you share a class with and you don't want to be lonely or a relationship that actually lasts for a lifetime, they are important for our development.
In Muu's case both her and Haruka are benefiting from their friendship, not only as a way to pass time and keep sane in a magical prison, but also for their own desires. For example, Muu thinks that the most important thing that a friend should do is to listen to what she has to say, something that Haruka is actively seen doing.
(from the interrogation questions)
What's a friend in your opinion?
"People who listen carefully to what Muu has to say."
So Muu seeks people that listen to her and with whom she's comfortable in a friendship. In the second MV the scene where the "bees" are around her could be a metaphor for her wanting to be listened(after all, what a queen says never gets unnoticed), but also in this specific scene she looks the most comfortable around her friend group.
Okay, but what her friends are benefiting from this relationship? Considering how easily they betrayed her trust means that it was never a very deep connection to begin with. That's because what they gained were objects, expensive things. Muu's love language and appreciation is giving things to others. Being rich means that she can afford many items so for her it's not a big struggle. In after pain the text from her phone suggests that she gave her lipstick to one of her friends.
Also, to who she gave something to as a sign of friendship? To Haruka! The hairpin.
Her friendship at school was most likely superficial, based more on materialism, and was never a deep connection like Muu wanted. Despite that her views of friendship seem like the standard definition, because they were taken to the extreme, she didn't realized until too late that her friends were superficial and didn't care much about her.
And even after all this she still wants to see her friends again, meaning that Muu still cares somewhat about them.
"At the moment is there anyone you want to meet?"
"I want to meet my friends, but in the first place there's daddy and mom I think~"
At the same time though, she is disappointed with how everything turned out to play and how easy her friends started to bully her.
"Do you regret it?"
"Mhm, I should've chosen my friends better."
What did lemons symbolise again? Disappointment, bitterness and fidelity. What Muu feels now about her past friendship and the loyalty that she never had truly gotten, but wants to.
Lemon is a fruit that represents very well Muu's desires and it's sad that such a simple wish (friendship) was too hard to be granted.
~Whipped cream~🍨
I will not talk much about this, since there is not much to say.
Whipped cream is used a lot in desserts, sugary things. Usually, it symbolises a carefree attitude and a joyous mood. This could make a reference to Muu's actual state of mind in Milgram, her being one of the only prisoner who is still fine, both mentally and physically.
~Honey~🍯
"Honey symbolises positive things, such as abundance, wisdom, and even the word of God."
I think it is no wonder that honey is an important part in Muu's character considering the second MV.
Her second MV adds information about Muu's murder and uncovers us the revelation that she was once part of the bullying group. So based on the symbolism, we can say that honey represents truth.
But what does honey represents in her MV? Muu associates it with devotion in the lyrics, which makes sense considering the visuals. The first bee scene that we have is Muu being surrounded by other classmates. Almost all of them have a plate with honey waiting for her to delight with the food. Just one of the bees has an empty plate that doesn't get unnoticed by Muu, who with just a slight push, breaks her into pieces.
And not just the visuals and the lyrics are showing that honey means devotion and loyalty.
"She will stop from time to time in the hive, to be groomed and fed by the worker bees called her 'attendants.' They form a circle around her, and will also spread her pheromone through the hive. This queen pheromone tells the bees that she is alive and well."
The scenes from the MV are mimicking the bees in real life. Her friends, the worker bees, by giving her honey, are showing how much they value their friendship. So it's only naturally that the girl who doesn't give her honey (in Muu's point of view) it's like she's wishing for her downfall.
Another thing... (feel free to ignore, because it's just me being annoyed at the bullies) Honey symbolises sweetness in life. I can't shake the feeling that by giving Muu this sweet honey, they are flattering her so they can receive more expensive things. Even the text on the phone seems like the friends are complimenting her too much?
Anyway, back to the analysis!
Also I want to point out the shape of the honey, which are bee larvae. Normally, the queen bee is the one that makes them to assure that the colony is prosperous. Instead, Muu eats them, indicating how her friends circle is slowly diminishing and, in the world of bees, the colony is slowly wiped out.
It doesn't help that Muu's actively destroying the colony by breaking the worker bees into pieces. If Muu and her friend group believe that the respective classmate is treating them badly or "betraying from jealousy", they are cutting ties with that person removing them from the friend circle and target them as the new victim of bullying. A good example is the short haired girl from the thumbnail, which resembles a lot the first bee with the empty plate.
Basically, Muu believes that if a classmate is treating her badly she is being bullied by them, so her deciding to bully them back is a sign of revenge. Her voice drama also implies this assumption.
"You see, if you think that me bullying someone back after being bullied is the natural course of events, then wouldn't it be bad to bully me back again in return?"
To sum it up:
classmate (doesn't value the friendship/does something that Muu and the friend group dislikes) is a bully in their Pov -> they bully back as an act of revenge
Rei is interfering(wants to stop the bullying)-> Muu is the new victim of bullying and is betrayed by her closest friends
Muu thinks the only way to escape is by killing herself -> ends up killing Rei (revenge)
Muu implies that by giving her a guilty verdict we basically are telling her that it was wrong for her to seek revenge. However, it also means that Rei was wrong to instigate the bullying, again, as an act of revenge.
"But if you were like, "I won't forgive you, Muu! Revenge is bad!," then wouldn't that imply that it's also bad for me to bully someone back after they bullied me? Since we've all done something bad anyway, doesn't that mean that I've not done anything wrong in the end?"
And she ends her argument with the fact that she and her victim are even, meaning that she didn't do anything wrong.
Now that we have the bullying part cleared up, let's end this with the last scene from the MV were honey appears.
Throughout the MV, we see that the queen cell above Muu is glowing when she is eating honey. That is the place were all the honey is deposited and is spilled out when the fully developed Muu with wings escapes.
In the first MV the hourglass was used to represent how much Muu could endure the pain until she would've suffocated(literally). That queen cell could symbolise the same thing. When Muu escapes, the honey that was once a sign of friendship and loyalty was now suffocating her due to the fakeness and the betrayal of her friends. She is no longer looking at the spilled honey, and is happy that she can finally break free since there is nothing left in the broken hourglass(not even her three closest friends).
Honey is a good representation of trust and devotion. It showed the truth of the situation, how too much sweetness in one's life could cause someone to "suffocate" in the lies hidden in it (in this case, the false friendship that Muu believed she had).
Thank you for reading! ~🐝
