Wars just mellowed out a bit, probably because he had to work in customer service again so whatever Legend throws at him he'll be able to take it, because if he stopped himself from strangling entitled karens complaining about their train tickets.

Headcanon: Shadow is the only character in the Sonic canon who swears because Gerald Robotnik would often swear while working and things went wrong or whenever he got hurt when building something, so Shadow is essentially a toddler just repeating the bad words their parents say by accident

God I hope Shadow is this innocent and naïve at first that he'd be one to immediately start swearing when he hears someone else cursing
