Solo pido tiempo

Ayer reflexionaba sobre el tiempo, entre pensamientos recurrentes que tengo, no importa sobre que tema en especifico, en todos ellos concluyo pidiendole a Dios tiempo, “solo te pido tiempo”, hoy pienso porque “solo” tiempo , si nos ponemos a pensar el tiempo es todo y lo necesitamos para todo, para completar un objetivo, para conocer a alguien, para desarrollar habilidades, para aprender, para conocer, para amar…

Solo le pido a Dios tiempo para que mis papas me vean convertirme en la mujer q merecen de hija, solo pido tiempo para ver q mis hermanos ser plenos y felices, en el auge de sus vidas, solo pido tiempo para ver a mis amigos alcanzar sus metas, superando cualquier miedo o inseguridad que exista en el camino, solo pido tiempo para ver a mi mejor amiga enamorada de alguien que sea capaz de ver lo especial que es, solo pido tiempo… Solo pido eso, irónico como si el tiempo fuese algo accesorio, podemos controlar cuanto tiempo le dedicamos a tal o cual cosa pero solo podemos controlar el tiempo finito que tenemos en nuestras manos, en nuestro corto plazo. Me costó, me cuesta mucho entenderlo, cuanto tiempo tenemos no es algo que podamos decidir , mucho menos cuanto tiempo tenemos con otra persona, en mis dias mas sensibles suelo pedir que si no puedo controlar cuanto tiempos nos queda entonces pido que el mio sea mas finito que el de quienes amo, porque no podria aguantar el dolor de perderlos… algo egoista tal vez, de cualquier forma es utopico, porque de nuevo no podemos controlarlo… con eso en mente, empiezo a pensar que mas que pedir tiempo, deberia empezar a pedir sabiduría para administrarlo, si no puedo controlar cuanto tiempo nos queda entonces quiero disfrutar cada instante de tiempo que tenemos hoy para disfrutar de cada una de esas personas que amo, de quienes la simple idea de perderlos me genera angustia… asi creo nació un poco esta faceta de mi “escritora” que se harto de sentir que le arrebaten antes de tiempo a quienes ama, que se harto de sentir que quedaron tantas cosas por decir antes de tener que despedirme.

Jamás dejare de pedir Tiempo porque es lo mas preciado que tenemos, pero espero que a medida que este pase sea capaz de usarlo cada vez mas con más eficiencia, dedicarle mas minutos a mirar un atardecer que me hace tan feliz, quedarme unos segundo mas en esos abrazos que nos recargan el alma, dedicarle cada vez menos tiempo a esos pensamiento cargados de ansiedad y angustia…

hi guys ❤️ here's a little life update for ya!

as you probably know, i opened a new business (as the gm, not the owner, at least, phew) at the end of november. i was working insane hours until the beginning of january, like 50-55h a week, sometimes 6-7 days a week.

the business is starting to really improve in terms of work/life balance, but i am still not really at mental/physical equilibrium. i'm working my way back there step by step and things are already way better than they were even 1mo ago!

the challenge has been rediscovering my creativity and ability to write. i'm trying to find a way to organize my free time so that i have mental space for all the things i want to do, but it's hard--just like for all adults 😭

i am still here and no one's been forgotten about. i am going to try to send some memes this weekend and generate some creative sparks. i am thinking of all of you and you are all always welcome to reach out to chat, exchange discords, or anything else!
