how i looked at the new guy at my job last month while he kept asking for my opinion on what fragrance he should buy from a kiosk 50 ft away instead of helping me with sales and the only other person there was busy performing an eye exam so i couldn't leave to go on break and i had to do everything myself

#it was so annoying cuz he was gone for 45 mins and claimed to only be gone for 5 #MF I WATCHED YOU STOP LYING #i wanted to go on my break before our assistant manager started the eye exam #but i couldn't leave if no one else was handling customers #and eye exams usually take an hour #so not only did i have to wait for the new guy to get back but i also had to wait for the eye exam to finish #which took nearly an hour and a half #keep in mind the new guy left without telling anyone so i had to text our manager who wasn't there what had happened #and the new guy was like why don't you care abt fragrances i need your opinion pls be serious #YOU BE SERIOUS IM HUNGRY AND EXHAUSTED AND I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING AROUND HERE #MEANWHILE YOURE HERE GETTING PAID $2/HR MORE THAN ME FOR DOING FUCKING NOTHING ALL DAY #he did quit a short while ago tho #vent post #btr #big time rush #kendall knight #kendall schmidt #kendall makes the pain go away

at what point am i to blame for what adhd does to me. at what point is it "adhd made it fucking physically impossible for me to focus today so i didnt do much work and hate it" versus just "i didnt do much work." am i allowed to feel shitty about it or is that just wallowing

bureaucracy...

#1. i try to register for council tax and have to give any previous edi addresses. i enter old postcode. the flat number isn't listed :)#2. i register for broadband & give my new address over the phone. somehow the order defaults to a previous address anyway #luckily i notice and call up to stop the engineer being sent out to a random house at the other end of the country #plusnet take my new details again but say they can't send a guy out for 3 weeks :)#don't have 4G in my new flat and work from home. i ask for a discount for my troubles since it wasn't my fault. they say no :)#3. i try to take my meter readings the day i move in to avoid paying too much energy bill. both meters are so old they've expired :)#i text the previous tenant she says it's an ongoing issue. she pestered the energy company about it for a year. they didn't do anything :)#4. the previous tenant was a filthy human being who has never picked up a duster or hoover in her life #i spend the first 48 hours in the new home cleaning up mouse droppings cobwebs and thick dust from every single surface :)#the landlord apologises and says he will send a cleaner next week. i have already cleaned everything but i accept anyway #5. i pass on my p45 to my new job as soon as possible to make sure i don't get put on the emergency tax rate #HR says this doesn't look right it's dated from six months ago. i say i haven't been working in that time they say ok leave it with us #one month later they contact me again to say hey your p45 is dated from six months ago :))) i say yes i know. i haven't been working #they say oh yes that's right. leave it with us :))))#i'm one minor inconvenience away from ending it all #dear diary

But then your pets are happy to see you're awake . your dog wags her tail and trots after u to the bathroom, your cats tails are all curled into that cute S shape that indicates they're glad to see you, and when u put fresh food down for them, they take a minute to rub against you and purr before they start to eat

And then it feels like actually, you can deal with the Horrors 👍🏻
