As soon as she shows and gives it to him, he's his usual sorta sassy self about it but he absolutely cherishes it.

Also I feel like Astarion would see different bits of his own past in some of the Mighty Nein, specifically Caleb and Yasha, and it'd piss him the FUCK off.

Jester and/or Molly reading the groups fortunes just for fun, the Oracle of the Moon Deck has some cards that would make the groups fortunes REALLY INTERESTING. Maybe Molly also pulls out some of the old circus tricks for fun.

On the topic of Molly, I think Lae'zel would have this very confusing respect for Molly? She'd find them really foolish at first and not think much of them, but I think she'd then see them actually in combat and be impressed with their skills.

I feel like Nott/Veth would just start mothering some of the bg3 party. Like not heavily, but a bit similar to how she does with Caleb. I could def see her pairing up with Astarion to steal some shit. Maybe King joins in if he's there.

versatile tarot spreads: three card draw (3 cards)

This post is part of a short series on "tarot spreads which require you to bring your own questions to the table."

I have never excelled at small spreads, but please let me suggest this: like knowing how to make a nice roux gravy, knowing how to work a three card spread is a fundamental skill in tarot. It is not a good spread because it is "easy".

I actually do not think it is "easy." Like a single boiled egg cooked to perfect temperature and forced to stand on its own without sauces or ramen, if it's not done very well, it fails. I think it is easy to get good enough and hard to get great.

It is a good spread because learning it will let you work a lot of really nice, fancy spreads. Have it in your back pocket and you can cook a five-course spread meal on the fly and impress anyone in eyeballing distance of your cards.

The three card draw works well in many applications, but I would especially like to focus on its aspects of beginning/middle/end.

When you pose one single, small, individual question to the three card draw, you can begin to see the fabulous ways the cards interlink to produce stories not possible when single cards stand on their own.

Especially keep an eye on whether or not any cards spell disruption to an otherwise harmonious triad - this will make the refinement of your reading pop.

Yeah I'll ask for a card draw! <3 It's not about anything too personal I think, so feel free to post, I don't mind.

Since I just started a new chapter in my life by going back to college for a second degree, I really need to find focus to stick to healthy routines. I hate big changes. I've always struggled with that, and lately there's been some executive dysfunction going on...

So, with the spooky part of the year having just started, how should I address these problems so as not to fail in both exams and health?

Well, I pulled out some proper Spooky Halloween Fabric for taking the picture. It seemed appropriate.

The Five of Swords, the Nine of Wands, and the King of Cups.

This isn't an easy draw, unfortunately, but that's also realistic in a situation like this. The Five of Swords speaks of failure, of defeat. But you and I both know that when dealing with struggling with routines and executive dysfunction, failures and defeats are constant, and it's not about if, but what we do WHEN they happen.

The Nine of Wands speaks to that, too. It's a card of resilience, and determination. The task is large, but it's not insurmountable. Take your day task by task, no matter how heavy the burden, and you can make it through. It's all about picking your battles, these two cards together.

Pick your battles and keep at it even when you screw up.

Now we have the King of Cups. Sometimes you might fail, but your success lies in your understanding of your own emotions. Trust in your maturity, in your understanding of your own body and your own limits. You have a grasp of what you are and aren't capable of. No one else can judge you for that but you.

Do what you are capable of day by day, trust in yourself, and allow yourself both to make small mistakes, and to correct them. One bad day isn't the end of the world. Sometimes the mistakes start to pile up, but we tackle them one at a time and you can start making progress again.

It's not going to be easy, but give yourself some grace and persevere one small step at a time, and you've got this.
