Dude I hated these common armors so much I installed a mod that turns them into Witcher 2 armors. They were infinitely better, wtf were CDPR's devs smoking when they decided not to put them in the third game. I really recommend this mod, saves you from these absolute eyesores of an armor

Forever funny to me how The Witcher 3 baits you into thinking all of Geralt's armor will be slick and cool looking based on his initial outfit, only for the game to give you almost nothing but a bunch of frumpy landsknecht outfits for the next 60 hours
