I can't believe the girls are back. I always dreamed of them reuniting because the way they broke up was so unfair to them and out of their hands. None of them wanted it to happen and now look at them get their flowers! Everyone screaming their heads off, singing the lyrics to every song, going wild like it's a festival, not a concert. Celebs of all sorts showing up, music acts from different generations giving their messages of love and gratitude, etc. People of all genders in the audience (what girl group gets so many guys yelling/screaming girl anthem songs like this especially in Korea? You know 2NE1 and BB were the special groups where they had more of a gender balance amongst their base than any other group)??!?!?! The girls belting out everything live and just. HIT AFTER HIT AFTER HIT AFTER HIT. Their discography is amazing.
Most of all, I love seeing them together, having fun. I teared up watching how emotional they were, with Minji crying and Chaerin trying SO hard not to cry. Bommie just....so much happier than we've seen her in a long time and soaking up the love we have for her. Dara having her dreams come true because there's no bigger Blackjack in the world than her. Them jumping around the stage together.
There's never been a girl group like them before, and there's never been a girl group like them since. Irreplaceable and impossible to imitate. No one has the charisma, the charm, the everything.

I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED
(no literally Rachael reminded me about this and sent it to me so i could add to the list)
i have SO MANY feelings about kpop and we're gonna cover a pretty wide spectrum of stuff here including some classics that still stand the test of time that you may or may not have heard if you're newer to kpop. all of these groups i recommend more than just these mvs, but these are places to start if they're groups you haven't listened to so let's gooooo
Monsta X
youtube
fave song by my fave group first, obviously i'm gonna start here. Monsta X is an insanely talented group and just everything they do is great? they have so many bangers and especially now that they're writing and producing most of their music themselves, they're constantly thinking outside of the box with style and song structure and just. i love them so much and i love this song so much. you literally cannot go wrong with them. they're one of the few groups with multiple no skip albums for me. absolute kings.
Bigbang
youtube
wanna talk about groups i have feels about? i already had so many feelings about Bigbang, and GD's new songs plus the performance at MAMA this past weekend have had me crying 3-5 times a day the past few days so we're gonna go with this anthem. Bigbang was my intro to kpop in 2008 and so much has happened and things have changed to say the least but just. the grip they have on me and always will. this song goes hard and has almost 700 million views on youtube as i write this for a REASON.
2NE1
youtube
MY QUEENS. no girl group can or will ever top them for me. sorry not sorry. icons. that's all there is to it.
SHINee
youtube
i did say i had been a kpop fan since 2008 so you shouldn't be surprised this list is 2nd gen heavy so far. i deeply love a lot of newer SHINee songs too, but View is the jewel in the crown that is SHINee's discography. one of the most talented groups that's ever existed, in all ways- dancing, singing, production, composition, styling, everything.
NCT Dream
youtube
you ever hear a song that gently pokes you in a bunch of your emotions including the nostalgic and sad ones but still leaves you with hope and a sense that everything is gonna be better and like the future is bright so it's okay to be optimistic? Broken Melodies soars.
NCT 127
youtube
returning to the harder faster heavier beats vibe of the first few songs in this list. 127 covers a pretty wide spectrum of styles like a lot of groups, but this is the stuff i gravitate towards the most so here we are. uhhhh i don't know what else to say about this pick or these boys. i just really love NCT and all parts of it and this song was in my top 5 songs on Spotify last year despite not coming out until October so that should tell you how good it is. yes.
Oneus
youtube
Oneus has finally started getting the kind of recognition that they deserve and Luna is the song that cracked that for them. they're masters of mixing traditional sounds with modern kpop styles and have done it more than once. this song is rare in modern kpop also for the fact that the entirety of the song is in Korean without a single English lyric through the whole thing. it's gorgeous.
Onewe
youtube
Oneus's brother band (literally, there's a pair of twins split between the two groups) definitely deserves more attention too. their music is fantastic and their vocal blend is top notch, and Dongmyeong (their half of the twins!) plays KEYTAR how could you possibly go wrong?? they let themselves get covered in water for this MV and drowned a bunch of copies of their actual equipment, no nice instruments were harmed in the making of this mv.
A.C.E
youtube
do i have a deep love of underrated groups? maybe yes. the styling in this MV is INCREDIBLE, even if the song wasn't phenomenal it would be worth watching it just for the outfits, a stunning blend of traditional Korean clothing mixed with modern cuts, fabrics, styles, and accessories. it's just so cool and everyone looks so good.
WayV
youtube
listen i'm sure we could debate on whether or not WayV should be on a list like this but they're part of NCT and they're essentially just a mostly Mandarin singing kpop group. they release a lot of their songs with Korean versions (like Frequency which literally came out today and has only a Korean MV) and they live in Seoul and they perform on Korean music shows and etc. whatever. just listen to Phantom because it's incredible and they're beautiful and this MV is dripping in spooky vibes and luxurious outfits and men being entirely too pretty for their own good.
if you try any of these out and you want more recommendations about a specific group let me know! it was really hard to pick specific songs for this list.
also if you're curious about what's going on with this whole NCT thing and its subgroups (NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and the others i didn't include in this list) then stay tuned to my posts because i'll be posting a redo of my guide to getting into NCT soon!
now go forth and listen and enjoy things! and also, if you want, reblog this with your picks and recommendations and loves! sharing is caring after all 💖🌟
kpop sampler
my dear @auriette was asking about my non-skz kpop feelings, and i have so many of them, so i thought it would be fun to make a little playlist.
i'm sticking with the 10 link limit (which is v hard) but if you also have a lot of kpop feelings, please rb with a song/group rec of your own!
in no particular order:
The Rose (k-rock)
youtube
i love them. They are super funny on social media, and their music is incredible. Screaming this song at the top of my lungs fixes me a little every time. Woosung is also a soloist and he's amazing.
WOODZ
youtube
This song gives me the shivers.
He also has a cover of Hype Boy that is A+
The duality of man.
I think WOODZ is vastly underappreciated, and i wish more people were as into him as i am.
Ateez
youtube
i know i already talked about them a little bit, but i have to do it again because i love them. just a bunch of insanely talented, stupidly hot weirdos. i love that they're all nerds who make legos together and that everyone but hongjoong and jongho have zero concept of personal space. wooyoung and san are medalists in the kiss your homie olympics. (woo is also bffs with changbin and also yeonjun from txt)
i'm still obsessed with this song and this MV. the ateez lore is very intricate and this is basically cinema.
TXT
youtube
insane dance skills, super talented, great music. it was hard to pick which song of theirs to include here, but this is defintely a favorite. def check out devil by the window" also.
they collabed with the jonas brothers and anitta and both songs were incredible. yeonjun just released a solo album. more talented goofballs. i love them.
OnlyOneOf
youtube
i am obsessed with OOO. they are incredible. they do most of their own choreo, they committed to making their MVs queer af and include messages of acceptance and support for the lgbtq community in the notes for all their videos. they paired themselves up and talk about kissing each other casually.
and they back it all up with high concept MVs, insane choreo, and great music that will absolutley get stuck in your head. picking a song was hard, but this choreo is too iconic
Hwasa
youtube
i am obsessed with her. she is also in mamamoo, who are great, but i am currently absolutely obsessed with her cover of lunch. but this song which is a pretty direct call out of the rampant body shaming in the industry is so much fun.
KARD
youtube
kard is the only mixed gender kpop group i know of, and we need more.
they are all adults, and their music and MVs are, too. killer dancey tracks. their friendship is a lot of fun.
BM is also a soloist, and has some very explicit horny songs that don't bother with the (barely) innuendo that kard plays with. he's also hilarious on SM, and on the daebak show
Enhypen
youtube
they're just good. i love a concept album, and they killed it with this.
Evnne
youtube
i love them.
they were all on boys planet, and i love all the groups that formed from that show (i was going to cheat and make a whole playlist of bp groups, but i'm just going to share this one and i'll make a whole separate bp post)
this video and song are just so fun, and they're so good, and i wanted to yell about them.
(all the boys planet boys are also stray kids levels of obsessed with each other, which i appreciate --zb1 is probably the worst-best about this, but they're all super close)
oh gosh only space for one more... ahhhh who to choooose
Blitzers
youtube
this is just so much fun
no one really sounds like blitzers. the horns and big band elements are wholly unique and fit surprisingly well. they are super talented and clearly having a good time with what they do, and it's just a good time.
I hope you like at least some of these songs/groups!
(Now, to play by my own rules and not add another ten in a reblog unless specifically asked to do more!)
Please add your favorite kpop/krock groups to share the joy of good music that we can all be super normal about together!

KARD Comeback Celebration: My Favorite Debuts
KARD's four-song debut project is one of my favorite debuts--not only does it remain a k-pop classic, but it also produced one of my favorite songs ever. As I'm checking out KARD's newest comeback, I wanted to reflect on the k-pop debuts that have stuck with me in the same way KARD's did.
[Rules: B-sides from the debut album count because I said so!! Also, I tried not to pick obvious ones--like of course ShinEE's "Replay" and Yena's "Smiley" are awesome, but I think most of us already know that!]
Hot Issue -- 4Minute: This can't be my favorite 4Minute track, since "Volume Up" and "Crazy" exist, but it's REALLY fun. It's catchy, and the members really lean into the concept in a way that foreshadows later greatness. With a debut like this, it's hard not to love 4Minute, I think.
I Will Show You -- Ailee: Since "Heaven" was just a single, I'm not counting it as an official debut (plus, I like this one better, anyway)! "I Will Show You" is a transcendent showcase of vocal power that hits me right in the heart and carved out a space just for Ailee in my memory from first listen.
Fight Day -- Bol4: I actually didn't know that this was their debut until I looked it up and checked, but it's always been my favorite from their first album. It's alt-rock with a little bit of bite to it, added mostly by Bol4's unique vocals, and it's still one of their best songs.
One of Those Nights -- Key: This was actually my favorite song ever for a solid year or so, though Phoebe Bridgers eventually knocked it out of the top spot. The chorus just never stops hitting for me, transporting me to the soft, sentimental world of my favorite Webtoons with just a few notes.
Yolowa -- GWSN: This does a great job of displaying their signature super-sweet sound while pairing it with maybe their most memorable melody ever ??? Too good to be a b-side, truly.
Stay Up -- Baekhyun: Another b-side, but this album is too good for people to just listen to "UN Village." This track is a very soothing combo of a catchy chorus and muted tones--in other words, it's a perfect intro to his later albums!
Bon Bon Chocolat -- Everglow: I know everyone thought "So Bad" was pop perfection, but I'm actually kind of meh on it--which is especially weird considering that StayC is my favorite k-pop group! "Bon Bon Chocolat" is my "So Bad," icy but full of flavor. I think a lot of people liked "Bon Bon Chocolat" when it came out, but I don't hear about it enough anymore, so I'm bringing it back as an act of public service!
Flowering -- Lucy: This may well be my favorite Lucy song, and they've released some absolutely BEAUTIFUL stuff since. Right from their debut, they've had the bittersweet sound perfected, and this track is a wonderful demonstration of that.
Swear -- E'Last: I still vivdly remember experiencing this debut--the title track is grandiose, even a bit too melodically complex for a pop release, which fascinated me and kept me attached listen after listen, trying to figure out all the pieces of the song. Their vocalists take the challenge well, though, giving a performance to remember. Still their best song!
Ponzona -- Purplekiss: I'm glad "Sweet Juice" brought orchestral Purplekiss back, because I think its lush instrumental is exactly what made their debut so great. Though I haven't loved too much of their music since, I think I keep tuning in because of just how much I enjoyed this one.
Glassy -- Jo Yuri: The best Jo Yuri--a musical balancing act, a stunt I can't look away from, with equally delightful sections of chaos and order. Sweet and charming, but just dangerous enough to keep me interested from start to finish!
A channel I like, kpop stuffs, actually released a video ranking fourth gen debuts while I was working on this post! It's cute you should watch!! "Glassy" is way too low I'm crying (/j), but it's FINE I'll live I guess...

Fanservice?
In the lights of uhm.. everyday's events because at this point there's nothing occasional about this, i wanted to talk about this one subject :
✨Fanservice✨
Or as they call it in Korean 팬서비스 . Quite honestly i'm not making this post for you know who because as much as i want to educate them they're hard headed so this is more of a general knowledge for everyone and whoever wants to add it to their Kpopictionnary.
Fanservice is literally the act of servicing the fans aka doing things that would please the fans. I know that a lot of people think that fanservice = gay activities or queerbaiting well.. It's not entirely true, maybe it's a form we are more used to seeing nowadays but fan service can pretty much be a very straight activity as long as it keeps the fans entertained.
As a kpop oldie (i'm no expert just speaking from experience) i used to listen to 2NE1 and a bit of Bigbang and these two groups engaged in fanservice mainly because both of their fans liked the chemistry between them, i remember noticing this about CL and G-dragon, yes they were friends but that didn't mean that to please their fans they wouldn't do a lil something to make it look a tad bit romantic
Tumblr media
In more recent kpop groups, despite me not knowing them all too much BUT i know OOO (OnlyOneOf) have this one "Libido" choreography that is very.. HUM and personally i know choreographies are a form of art but i also think that it has a bit of an act of service. But then one should be able to not mix up everything cause one of the members, Rie, has a song called "because" but because of the nature of the song, what it is talking about, the MV cannot be considered as fanservice.
youtube
In other words, just because something looks "gay" to you it does not mean that it is automatically an act of service.
In general the fanservice culture is pretty well known in Kpop but contrary to the past where it somehow was a bit of a "mandatory" thing, now as an idol you either chose to do it or you don't, and many times within the same group some chose to do it some don't, as long as the one who choses to do it respects the boundaries of the person who just isn't interested in it, then they're just having their fun.
Now moving on from generalities to specifications, BTS, which i've seen a lot of confusions and misinformation going on about them and fanservice. Will i be one of those who will say that they NEVER did that? No of course not i'm not that stupid and blind, but will i just lie and say that up until this day they are still engaging in it? Also no.
Listen, kpop idols in general have a tougher starts, and BTS just like other groups had to engage in some form of fanservice which is why you'd find videos like this on YT
youtube
And yes this whole thing was an act of service, remember their lil games too? Aka when Hobi stole tae's first kiss lol well yes that was an act of service. But you know what else is an act of service? Fan meets, because whether people are ready to accept that this also falls into the fanservice category or not, it IS a fanservice, an idol basically offers the fan the service of getting to see them up close, hold their hand, talk to them, give them gifts, etc..
Now just like i mentioned above, it is a bit less tough in the recent years as idols now have a choice, which was the case for our boys. Things change, the same way personalities do, the same way our boys in the past had a certain view about what masculinity is and what their view now is of masculinity, our boys are just no longer interested in that type of fanservice since within the years they've been together they grew closer and it's easier for them to naturally tend to be affectionate.
In what i like to call their "lil skit" on PTD in Seoul Jimin made it very clear that they're not into "fake stuff", why do i think that maybe it's a skit to get the message across, it's simply because our boys do go online and they do see what people say about them and in a way or in another they always tells us what's up, so of fucking course they must've known about how some "fans" seem to downgrade their bond into just an act of service.
While some smaller groups are still a bit "forced" into that extra bond with the members, i remember seeing somewhere that some idol confessed they weren't even that close but they were forced to act like it, bigger groups like BTS don't need that anymore to push them further and yet "some people" like to still call their bond a fanservice simply because they have narratives that get humbled everytime and they're not ready to accept it.
Whatever activitiy a member choses to do with the other, this has nothing to do with fanservice whether you like it or not. Jimin attending Tae's music bank show is because he wants to support his friend, Namjikook attending and participating in Yoongi's concert is because they wanted to be there and wanted to do a surprise, any member chosing to hang out with another member or a member of a different group is not an act of service, they are human, and they have relationships with other humans which so happen to be their friends.
People need to stop putting the boys into a bubble they've created for them and anything that goes beyond that bubble is deemed unacceptable for them and titled as fanservice or "forced to do". BTS will ALL be in their 30's very soon, they are adults and very responsible for their own action, they are very big, very popular and don't need anyone to tell them what type of relationship they should be having with others.
I feel like countries need to invest in more green spaces because clearly some "fans" need to go outside and touch some grass they've been a bit too invested into the online community that they forgot that idols have lives and they can actually chose to be friends with members of their own group too.
With that being said, let's please keep supporting our boys, we shouldn't let haters ruin our mood or try to pick fights with us, the best thing to do is ignore what we can and report what is harmful. Have a nice day y'aaaall and STREAM MUSE!!!!

various thoughts on various things.
1. wow the phillies really crumbled didn't they. i think i'd be more upset about it if the writing hadn't been on the wall, the bye was never gonna work for us. a team that struggled batting and pitching the first two weeks and the two weeks after all stars was never gonna survive having a pre-post-season break. post-season doesn't give you two weeks to adjust. i hustled to get the clinch fic out because i could feel it in my stomach, and there was no scenario where i would finish writing it now, you know? oh well. now it's time to switch gears, the san jose sharks would never do this to me. (a team that can't make the playoffs also can't lose in the playoffs)
2. i've been thinking about making another ao3 account. for visual stuff. in my grand dreams i recommit to my old more traditional hobbies but realistically i suppose it would be a way to post moodboards or edits or whatever to ao3 collections. i think relearning how to draw and paint and whatever would be nice, but it feels far out to me. i should start closer. more realistic. either way i wanna do more visually creative stuff, i've been doing other things lately and i'd hate to get really rusty.
3. changed my phone bg from bryson and trea to 2ne1. you know, for the winter. trying to convince myself it's not a reactionary move, the baseball bgs were just really summery and i wanted change for the fall and winter, but didn't wanna change them before the season was over. love just my girls. tomorrow i'm gonna watch a bunch of fancams from the concert i think. remember when fancam meant a fan recorded video of a performance? i don't know what the fuck happened. i don't know what fandom took a thing the kpop fans were doing and changed the definition of it entirely. baffles me to this day.
4. i've been fiddling with the 52 weeks sequel a lot again, i think working on something that i know where it's going and i have a lot of plans and notes for but no concrete deadline or pressing need to get out there is really nice. im trying to figure out what the scope is, if i wanna go over the original timeline. because i do have scenes past it, i have notes spanning years past it, but i don't know how far i'm trying to get with the sequel and if it's something that's gonna get a third and fourth and fifth parts. i haven't really thought about it that hard. and if i decide it's the sequel, for the original "duration" and nothing else, what am i gonna do with all the stuff i've already written and planned out? i don't know.
i think that's all for right now.

hey babe i noticed your anons have been kinda negative / mean lately so i'm gonna spice it up a bit!!
what are your top three favorite music artists?? and are there any artists that you like that you think your fav cm characters would like too?
Hiii sweetie! Thank you that's so nice of you. This actually made me think about it for a bit.
I love so many bands that it was hard to choose, but I'm going to say that so we can have a little bit of everything. Various genres.
Motionless in white
She past away
Maneskin
And for the CM characters, I have so many ideas
Emily was goth during her teen years so I'm pretty sure she still listens to goth stuff like she wants revenge or she past away, the 69 eyes, etc.
Garcia is a big Lady Gaga enthusiastic. You cannot change my mind. I kinda see her following 2ne1 too. She's screaming "naega jeil jal naga" on her way to work every morning. To finish she also has a whimsical vibe with her, she might listen to goth stuff sometimes with Emily. Classic stuff like The Cure, Bauhaus or even Depeche Mode you know.
Rossi listen to Eros Ramazzotti. You cannot change my mind. He thinks he is the Italian lover Eros is, but he's not and that's cute.
JJ is quite a pretty preppy girlie so she might listen to Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter or Olivia Rodrigo.
Morgan plays big tough dude so I think he might listen to rap music, stuff like that, but I don't know anything about it sooo. In France, I would have told you that he listens to La Fouine. But I guess it's unknown here. That being said sometimes he secretly listens to what Garcia likes so he can sing in the car with her.
I would like Hotch to listen to 50's / 60's music like Little Richard. I like it in my head.
And Spencer probably used to listen to classical music with Gideon so he still does it. But baby is a troubled baby and I think he would listen to La Dispute sometimes. Helps him to deal with his fucked up life. Post-hardcore emo king.
Okay, that ended up being super long but I loved it.

Also I agreed with some things in that tweet but it's also so wrong to me hate when something I disagree with gets like 10k likes
Putting kai and taeyong in the same sentence is weird kais enlistment feels expected everyone knows exo is an old group and he's an established soloist with idols in the next gen who look up to him, taeyong doesn't have kind of solo career yet and i don't know if it's bc I don't keep up with him but his enlistment actually did shock me and nct still feel newish compared to now and exo in 2019 for a better comparison since taeyongs ncts first enlistment and xiumin was exos in 2019
Saying twice is doing better atp in their career then 2nd gen groups did is one thing though i dont rlly agree but saying ITZY are doing better at this point in their career than 2nd gen groups is another, 5 years into their career snsd kara 2ne1 had multiple hits on their hands and snsd would have more hits after that, they were all touring successfully getting accolades in japan and other Asian countries this is when 2ne1 was breaking into America, comparing groups to second gen is always a bit weird to me there were more barriers they had to break, the goal posts are different too, like no one used spotify everyone was illegally downloading music, people were using allkpop forums/live journal and stuff like that for fandoms rather than twitter, it was harder to get content in general, the way news spread was way different, groups did not promote in America like they do now so the fact that these second gen groups did chart in America and had fans in the west was surprising, around like 2014 everyone knew that a 3rd gen group would blow up in the west bc of the way the hallyu wave had spread which was thanks to the groups before them it just ended up being beetees instead of bap
Idk I just find it weird to brag about groups success w world tours (this is what onces are talking about when they say twice is more successful like a kpop group being successful in japan isn't anything new not when kara and snsd were so overwhelmingly successful there and w bgs there tvxq and 2pm where even the solo careers get treated well) and stuff to second gen when the situation was so different back then and it was just much harder to be successful like that like not to discredit any group but like things don't exist in a vaccum there are so many things that can be attributed to the way kpop is successful in the west today like the groups before these ones
pt 2
yeah i mostly agree with you tbh. i feel like people love to downplay or dismiss the sheer amount of success and importance that 2nd gen had just because it wasn't focused in the west and we had no real internet to have a testament of these achievements like we do now. I feel like if we put the two together 2nd gen/early 3rd was actually more successful and recognized than kpop is now. no one gaf about spotify charting or album sales. it's about if the public can name your face and at least one of your songs. 2nd has cemented itself like that. with the newer gen it's just beyoncé voice quick hit after hit and they burn out release another single and they burn out etc etc

haiiii i wnna start posting but i'm nervous, do u have any advice?
no/j
but i'd say post anything that crosses your mind and stuff that you're interested in
like i post stuff abt 2ne1(the kpop group) and it makes me feel authentic bc im using something i like to express my feelings
and if you like drawing, philosophy, animating, making moodboards, etc. you should def post it! philosophy can also be anything bc its literally just thinking and you can put it into words
and adding a shit load of tags really helps boost that chance of other gooners finding the post
plus... you shouldn't put an emphasis on other ppl receiving your posts well and instead put an emphasis on "do i think this post is authentic to me"
like its okay to be like "ohh this post is gonna be a banger" but don't beat yourself up abt it if it get 0 notes bc thats just the algorithm being a dickhead
and i think consistency is kinda important when it comes to posting even tho i leave this acc for weeks ((((;゜Д゜)))
also u should embrace shitposting
hope this is helpful (*^3(*^o^*)

CL (2NE1) - Medley [TREASURE 'REBOOT' Concert]
Kind of crazy to see the 2NE1 channel posting stuff again. She crushed this performance, seemed totally in her element, her stage presence is as strong as ever. This must have been so cool to see live, so curious as to how this upcoming reunion goes.

Na-scam ako 20k for 2NE1's concert sana. 😢 Been a fan since their debut. I still have stan accounts on other social media platforms for them until now too. For the past years I've been waiting for their comeback and they and their music are literally my savior. They're there for me through ups and downs. Grabe I did not expect this, so traumatized by this ticketing system. 😢 Pa-rant lang. Tanggap ko naman na, ni hindi ko nga minura yung scammer sa chat kasi ano naman magagawa nun. 🥲
I will still go to their con kasi I still secured gen ad tix. Nakakalungkot lang talaga, planning to buy stuffs pa naman and all. Hays.
But today, I treated my fam kasi birthday ni mama. Still grateful to God kasi di parin nauubusan kahit nawalan. Sobrang sad lang din talaga kasi first time ko ma-scam and grabe yung excitement ko noong akala ko naka-secure na ko ng tix. 😢
Anyway, haba na neto. Now lang ako nagsulat ulit dito kasi nakakalimutan ko minsan na may account ako dito. Lol lesson learned, do not trust anyone.

making a tag index because i refuse to be silenced and you guys can filter my tags if you get sick of my posts clogging your dash LOL
note: all new chapters for my fics will be tagged by title of fic! i do not currently (as of 10/7/24) have an "aqua writes" tag! the easiest way to check for updates is to go to my masterlist, as i update individual fic masterlists when i post new chapters!

general update (i.e. news, not new chapters) tag for all fics written by me! updates for specific fics will be tagged as re: fic name (e.g. "re: take a bite")
aqua speaks
me yapping on main! probably my most used tag
aqua answers
me yapping directly to/at one of you <3 sometimes fic-related, sometimes not. gratuitous usage of reaction images
aqua reads
general tag for fics i'm currently reading/have read, usually with feedback in the tags. more specific tags within this one include group tags (e.g. "bts rec") and member tags (e.g. "myg rec")
aqua aura
relatable content for me. stuff i like, aesthetic posts, text posts not originally posted by me, etc.
bts
member tags are namjoon, seokjin, yoongi, hoseok, jimin, taehyung, & jungkook
other kpop content
svt, mx, shinee, 2ne1, lsfm, rv, etc. members are usually tagged by name. solo artists are usually tagged by stage name (e.g. "bibi")
