I have lived 22 years of my life thinking this is the intended usage of the phrase and had no idea I was being subversive when using it this way.

I love using "by the way" as a segue into topics that are completely unrelated to the matters at hand. it isn't remotely by the way, quite a ways out of the way in fact. a little adventure

Been sick so clearly that means a Revenge of the Sith rewatch and I swear with each passing year Anakin gets appallingly younger. If I was 22 and had been fighting an intergalactic war for years where I was responsible for thousands of men I couldn’t save,had been told I was a chosen messiah since I was nine,my mom died in my arms when I was a teenager,and the entire internet was obsessed with me,I’d probably marry my child fixation and go absolutely batshit insane too. Perfect cocktail of too much responsibility too young,ego boosting,and terror,shaken and poured with a heaping dose of twenty two year old boy.
