i love seeing prowl’s obvious favouritism towards springer in sotw. it’s clear that as much as prowl loathes springer’s origin, he is fond of and thinks highly of the person that springer has become.

I heard the idea that Springer is specifically Tarantulas' child. And Prowl has nothing to do with its creation. Is this true?

Short answer-- not true.

More involved answer: Prowl's role in Ostaros/Springer's creation is never made explicitly clear, but we do know that Ostaros was created in a lab provided and overseen by Prowl, and that Prowl was at the very least aware of Ostaros as a work-in-progress.

But more than that, Tarantulas claims that Ostaros "could not have happened" without Prowl. This can be interpreted a number of ways -- Prowl provided the lab necessary to create Ostaros, he acted as a sort of muse to Mesothulas (Tarantulas says as much at one point) -- but there is also the fact that a lot of their working relationship seems to consist of Prowl coming up with crazy what-ifs and Mesothulas sciencing them into reality.

Was Ostaros Prowl's idea, then? In the sense that he asked Mesothulas to create something -- an invincible soldier, a new and better Cybertronian -- quite possibly. (See Prowl's later fixation on figuring out how Phase Sixers are made.) What the project became in Mesothulas's eyes is another thing entirely.

There's a copulatory, procreative flavour to Tarantulas' account of their collaboration. The insemination of thought into reality, the delivering of miracles. And when it comes to Ostaros specifically, he makes sentimental appeals to Prowl's memory, as though attempting to elicit what can only be described as parental fellow-feeling. Though he's obviously romanticizing something Prowl recollects differently, it's an odd tack to take with someone who had "nothing to do" with the project.

So, yeah, Prowl was almost definitely involved. Terrible terrible father.

Soo I wan on insta gonna tell my comic place I'll be getting my comics tomorrow but upon seeing something I lost all focus... we are getting a Transformers one Megatronus prime Blokee! I'm dying, I screamed and instantly knew that I'm going to get him. Look at him! I wanted a figure of him as soon as I saw his design and look! All I need now is one of Prima.

Gimme him! Please I'll sell my soul for a whole line of tfo's 13 prime. Gimme him please, his design is sick and just 10/10. I wanna blab about my love for him and how much I want this model kit.

Love Optimus being expressive in Transformers animated. I need to get more screenshots of his expressions, is that just me making up a excuse to get more Optimus screenshots? Maybe... maybe but in my defense look at Optimus! He's adorable and deserves all the happiness.
