thinking about how trans (in any direction) morty would probably be TERRIFIED of telling rick. (at least seasons 1-4 rick.)

thinking about how when rick would, inevitably, accept his grandkid for being trans, morty would think its out of character for him.

thinking about how when rick realizes how scared morty was to come out to him, he would start to reflect on how fucked up his treatment of morty is.

thinking about how rick would want to become the kind of person that morty wouldnt be scared to be open with.

I’m hoping to finally get around to clearing out some WIPs since I have 36 (ranging from a few sentences to near complete works, excluding a fair few ideas with 0 actual writing done) 😅 mostly Rick and Morty stuff but also a couple of Inside Job fics and some Red Dwarf (which I post about on my main @im-staying-calm-this-time). These are the fics that I consider closest to completion. More information for each option below:

Post S6 finale (Morty's POV) - exploring Morty's feelings as he deals with drunk Rick before leaving and reflecting on Rickbot.

JR/Rand college smut - JR and Rand have just moved into their dorm and things are very tense. They find an unusual way to relieve that tension.

Beth's POV during Morty's Mindblowers - specifically the scene where she chooses Summer over Morty. My attempt at giving her decision a bit more complexity than just favouritism.

Rick/Diane smut - a young Rick and Diane have fun on a night out.

Trans Morty - the backstory of Morty A-70 (from my fic Double Dessert) figuring himself out/coming out. Note: this one is pretty long and not completely finished, but what I've got so far is close to ready to be posted on a chapter by chapter basis.

This was also originally written by the original creator but heavily edited by me. It wasn't the first thing written for this au (that would be what eventually became the first chapter of Canary), but I what better way to celebrate her first anniversary than to delve a bit into her backstory?
