You Are Experiencing Culture Shock, and You Probably Didn't Even Notice
There are plenty of conflicts going on in the world today. We read about them, see them on the debate stage, and get pelted with them on Social Media. But there is another conflict going on all around you, and you may not have even noticed. “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” (2 Corinthians 4:7, NIV) If you’ve ever lived in…

"ORDINARY MEN, EXTRAORDINARY MANDATE"
2 Corinthians 4:7, “But this beautiful treasure is contained in us—cracked pots made of earth and clay—so that the transcendent character of this power will be clearly seen as coming from God and not from us.” Anyone who knows me knows, 2 Corinthians 4:7 is one of my absolute favorite Scriptures in all the Bible! And because of it, the story of “The Cracked Pot” is one of my absolute favorite…

RE: Is anyone feeling me? was researching the meaning behind 4's in the summer till I realized that is numerology, then I kiboshed the entire thing & tried to scrub my brain. But then live chat peeps said to look up various verse with that zip code, smart:
Isaiah 44:44 says, “But now listen, Jacob, MY Servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. This is what the LORD says—HE WHO made you, WHO formed you in the womb, and WHO will help you: Do not be afraid, Jacob, MY Servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen”.
The verse continues, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out MY SPIRIT on your offspring, and MY blessing on your descendants.”
Some say that the imagery in Isaiah 44:4 reflects the Israelites' future restoration and abundant blessing. It serves as a beacon of hope during a time when Israel faced captivity and impending challenges.
Other Relevant Verses:
Joel 1:15-20 meaning. The prophet uses the recent locust/army invasion to predict the day of the LORD, a time in which GOD will intervene in the world to judge HIS adversaries.
Zechariah 4:8-10 meaning. Zechariah learns that Zerubbabel, who laid the temple foundation, will complete it because the LORD watches over all the events of the world.
2 Corinthians 4:7-15 meaning. Paul declares the treasure of the Gospel is in us. The strength & power of the Gospel is not from us. Though we carry treasure in this earthen vessel (our bodies), the power is from GOD. The Gospel is spreading & as we look at things which are not seen, we see a greater glory than our sufferings in this life.

Whose Report Do You Believe? (270) - November 2 2024
Choose your Podcast App to Play this episode Pastor Catrice speaks on this week’s topic about the heart of the Christian when finding themselves in a Wilderness. Moses sent out scouts to report back what they found in Canaan, the land which God had given His children. However, some of them brought back an evil report because they were afraid of what they saw and didn’t acknowledge the Lord and…

The New Testament Instructions for the Use of Music in Worship
Today’s Christians are under a strong delusion believing that church worship music is what is being played in many Christian’s airways are the musical praises to Almighty God. Before you can argue with that statement, let’s read the Bible for acceptable references for musical worship. We are now living in this new direction, but many are still worshipping under the laws of Moses. “For Christ is…

The Spiritual Gift of Teaching
The New Testament references the gift of teaching in several passages (Rom 12:6-8; 1 Cor 12:28; Eph 4:11). This gift involves the ability to clearly explain and communicate biblical truths so that others can understand and apply them. A teacher, in the biblical sense, is responsible for instructing others in the doctrines of the faith, helping believers grow in their knowledge of God and in their…

Build Your House on the Rock
Introduction This week has been particularly challenging for my younger daughter. She is going through an extremely difficult situation in her life right now. As her dad, it hurts me deeply to see her suffering. I wish I could take away her pain and bear it myself. Unfortunately, I can’t. All I can do is be there for her, offering support and comfort from afar (for now) since I moved to Florida…

Up To Par
Isn't it funny how God uses everything in our lives to teach us something, even the game of golf. Enjoy! God bless ya!
So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death. For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God…

We know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus
Daily Verse Reading – 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also…

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

Would YOU Put Your Treasure in Jars of Clay?

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-10,…

"THERE'S DANGER IN TWISTING SCRIPTURE!"
Deuteronomy 4:2, “Now listen, Israel, listen carefully to the rules and regulations that I am teaching you to follow so that you may live and enter and take possession of the land that God, the God-of-Your-Fathers, is giving to you. DON’T ADD A WORD TO WHAT I COMMAND YOU, AND DON’T REMOVE A WORD FROM IT. Keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you.” (MSG) Ecclesiastes 3:14-15,…
