Velam Isetta, 1956. Italian appliance maker Iso developed the Isetta microcar in response to a growing demand for small and affordable cars after the war. It was introduced in 1953 at the Turin Motor Show and generated interest from across Europe.  Licences were sold to BMW for the German market and to Velam for France. The French version was produced in Suresnes between 1955 and 1958. Being offered at Rétromobile 2025, this example was originally sold in Paris and remained in the same ownership for 40 years. The current owner acquired it in 2015; he then had it restored completely (restoration file) and gave it to his wife for her birthday.

Fiat 600 Weekend, 1956, by Accossato. Designed by Giovanni Michelotti, the unusual “due porte e mezzo” (two and a half doors) design was created for young families who needed to transport baby cots. Accossato specialised in making bespoke versions of the Fiat 600 and 1100, the Weekend model was made in limited numbers though I don't think any have survived to the present day.
