Bucky rinsed as much mud off of himself as he could while standing in the backyard, then he stripped on the back porch before he entered the house.

When he saw Sarah standing in the kitchen laughing at his predicament and enjoying the view, he threw his wet clothes on top of the washer, chased her up the stairs, caught her on the landing, and pulled her into the bathroom.

Afterwards, she went through his sopping wet clothes and fished out his wallet, keys, a small notebook and pencil, a smooth river stone with an adrinka carved on it, and a piece of paper, folded several times.

She laid everything out on a towel on the kitchen counter, and unfolded the piece of paper, gently smoothing it out to dry.

It was something printed. A receipt? A list?

A poem.

And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so?

I did.

9.) start to finish, how long did it take you to write the last fic you posted?

It took me 6 days to write Call Me Serious Trouble!! I started on March 20th and finished March 27th (there were two days where I didn’t write anything, I promise I can do math). I don’t know how long I was working on it each day because I weirdly enough do not keep track of how many minutes/hours I write for each day? This feels like a mistake on my part I definitely should’ve included a time spent column on my spreadsheet!!

10.) what is the longest amount of time you’ve let a draft rest before you finished it?

Babe I’ll let my drafts rest forever for all eternity if I’m not careful 😭😭😭 of the fics that I’ve actually Finished and Published… I stopped writing Little Taste of Heaven for almost a month before I started working on it again and actually powered through and finished it.

But do not even look at some of my unfinished drafts that have been sitting, resting, untouched for two years do nOT look at them!! They’re in hibernation!! They’re marinating!! Give them time!!

grad day today was an absolute success and despite it being over, i really don't wanna take my makeup or outfit off or tie my hair back for bed bc it all looks so perfect 🥲 like damn my makeup artist and hairstylist went OFF today and made me look amazing (so good that i took approximately 34567890 selfies lol). honestly, i wanna get dressed up, get a cute hairstyle, and do some nice makeup more often. i've never done this much glam-type stuff before and it was a legit confidence boost. this was truly a great ending to my exhausting ass college experience, cliche but this one day made it all worth finishing 💕

ok so like 2 weeks before i started dating my gf, back in january, i started a word document with the poems i was writing about her and when i was in my head about asking her to date me i wrote my thoughts there like a diary and so ever since then whenever i write a poem about her or when i'm thinking about how much i love her and feel the need to express it somewhere i write there. after like 2 months of doing this i thought to myself wait, i should totally make a little book and give this to her for our one year anniversary. and so that is the plan and i think she's gonna love it.

however... It's at 57 pages and 11k words as of now. and we'll only be 4 months into dating in like 3 days, so if i continue writing at the same pace that i'm currently doing it's probably gonna triple the length lol. is that too much? like it would be 175 pages long nfaodfpsd i don't want her to have to read through an actual entire book long of mediocre poems and nonsensical rambling.

i could gift it to her at our 6 months anniversary but i think it's still a little early for something like that...

anyway, i think i'll still gift it to her at our one year. but yeah, maybe when i reread the whole thing through in like 8 months i'll cut some passages out dasfdlnj

When Evan had, earlier today, casually asked if he could borrow Barty’s practice jersey to wear to the Quidditch match, Barty had agreed readily. What he hadn’t done was afforded much thought to the potential consequences of his actions, such as the fact that Evan would indeed be wearing his, Barty Crouch Jr.’s, jersey.

But there Barty was, standing in the common room chatting to Dorcas, when Evan came sauntering down the stairs in all his green-and-silver glory. His eyes were bright blue against the dark fabric of the shirt, his hair was shining even in the dim lighting, and he was grinning wide at Barty even from across the room.

But more than that, Barty’s name was written across his back, all but proclaiming Evan as his.

Barty choked on his drink.

Beside him, Dorcas cut him an odd look.

“You alright, Bee?” she asked, a hint of worry in her voice.

“Yeah,” Barty managed, but his eyes tracked Evan’s path across the room like his life depended on it. “Never been better, really.”

the targeted attacks within the gaza strip are ramping up- with several massacres being executed by the israeli army in one day. this is a deliberate tactic used to conceal the true extent of their war crimes. families like amal are scrambling to raise enough funds to be able to cross into egypt. with this latest revelation of the border reopening- the time to act has never been more crucial.

The hand that curls around Barty's waist isn't gentle. It's firm. Domineering. Decisive.

Grinning, he turns away from the man who has been chatting him up to no success for the past five minutes and stares into piercing eyes.

"What are you doing?" is all Evan asks.

"Making friends," is his witty reply.

It's a whirlwind. How else can he explain how one moment they are standing in the dark, crowded bar, and the next they're in the alleyway, Barty pressed against the brick?

"He didn't want to be your friend, B," Evan drawls, his entire body flush against Barty's.

"Well," Barty pretends to consider, but his heart is beating deliciously fast, "he didn't know I was taken. What are you going to do, Rosie? Lock me up so none of the boys try to take what's yours?" He bites his lip teasingly, and it's all a game, but he's still so, so eager to see Evan's reaction.

"I just might," Evan nearly-growls, pulling him into a bruising kiss, pinning his hands to the wall.
