Oh, wonderful. It was wonderful.

Just imagine the joys of being violently torn to pieces. Of fighting until your last breath and bleeding out on the ground while knowing you've failed your people, failed your one purpose, and now the world shall end all because of you.

Imagine being left with that thought for a hundred years. Entirely alone. Just you and the knowledge of your failure, watching from high above as monsters ravage the lands and puppet the very Divine Beast you should have been piloting- and life moves on without you.

Then one day, you get to watch as the 'great hero' you never even got a chance to prove yourself to turns up and succeeds at everything you failed to do as if to rub it in your beak that he's better than you.

Then, as icing on the cake, you experience the utter joys of waking from the dead to a world you don't recognise anymore. To a home that is no-longer your home. Everyone you grew up besides is naught more than bones in the ground, and there's nobody left who remembers you. You're entirely alone in an unfamiliar world, now surrounded by strangers who not only have entire history books written dedicated to your greatest failure, but to rub salt in the would they have also read your private diary.

So all in all, a truely delightful experience I would highly recomend. I'm doing great. Everything is wonderful!!!! What a plucking delight!

not sure if anyone has recomended monster x mediator yet but its such a fun game despite being quite short. the game is supposed to have mutiple routes eventually (which I'm not sure are supposed to be yanderes) but the one it has rn is complete and definitly fits the yandere vibes. If u like things that mix horror with humor and have a funnily pathetic but still terrifing yandere this one is a trip. Also the fact that the guy is a monster that looks like a madness combat character adds to the charm of it in my opinion lol

I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical about this game, but I saw how pathetic he is and now I'm very much on board. This game is supposed to have four different routes, but currently only has one for now. The comedy and horror is well balanced in the game itself. The story starts out with the MC taking on a job for a large sum of money. They are currently in debt and need money quick. After receiving the first half of the money, they are directed to go to some abandoned building to get the other half. After receiving it, they are then told their task to go inside of the building. If the MC tries to run away, they will be shot on the spot. If they accept, they will be faced with a couple of doors. Their boss will then tell them that there are monsters that behind each door, and that the MC's job is to get all of them out of the room without dying.

Going into the red door, the MC is pretty much immediately knocked out before waking up and finding a large monster hovering over them and thousands of things pasted up in the walls. You can successfully get him out of the room in three different ways but can also be killed a couple of other ways as well. The first thing he does is declare himself as the MC's biggest fan, getting so excited that he grips his axe menacingly. If the MC gets him too excited, they will end up killing the MC. The monster (later revealed as 404), talks about how much he loves the MC's fanfiction blog and how he was really sad and depressed when the MC blocked him and even sadder when they stopped writing all together. 404 also reveals that he is such a big fan that he also knows all of the MC's passwords and even their bank account, with all of the fanfiction that they written pasted on the wall. 404 then asks if they want to see where he kills everyone and if they can write a fanfic for him.

If the MC is curious about where all the dead bodies are, 404 will bring them into another room to show them. We learn a lot about 404: he doesn't know what kind of monster he is, doesn't really need to eat, loves to kill with his axe and seems to have regenerative abilities considering he was shot in the head and was completely fine the next day. The MC can have two ways to get him out of the room, both of which are hilarious. The first way is to literally beg 404 to leave by pleading desperately (do you know that let me rizz you up meme? That's what you do) until 404 gets tired and does it for his super star. The other way is to seduce (?) 404 by telling him that it would be sexy of him to leave the room, which works well. We also learn about the facility itself, that 404 has been living there since as far as he remembers, that he loves killing the various people that come in, doesn't like the MC's boss (finds them annoying through the walkie talkie) and pretty much only kills and reading the MC's blog.

If the MC decides to oblige 404 with his obsession, they will start to write on a typewriter as 404 stands behind them excitedly. He keeps on asking the MC to add more and more things, making it 100 pages instead of 10, making the story a romance, making it a romance between him and the MC (noting that "the name Nick is the same as his username", which is a huge stretch).

If the MC refuses to write 100 pages, 404 will end up getting extremely angry and hold the MC by the throat, calling them and humans "bitches". He will start to kill the MC, crying and feeling despair as he kills the MC by choking them to death.

If the MC does oblige, they will write the most god awful fanfiction (their words) and end up pretty much just holding the a key until it fills all 100 pages. 404 ends up crying out of happiness at such a beautiful gift and leaves the room, just as the MC wanted.

First of all, I think that the game does a good job of balancing the horror elements with the comedy. I did not expect to like 404 this much and definitely did not expect his personality to be like this. I did feel it was interesting that 404 believes that the MC's writing would "fix him" and even laments that even though he knows it wouldn't, he still wanted to try when he was killing the MC in a choke hold. He basically is a very feral online fan who meets their super idol (which gives me a bit of incel vibes), but not enough to be extremely obvious, much more than other yanderes, with him saying like he's a gentleman, or that he isn't angry at all despite the fact that he got blocked. I also love the various ways that you can get him out of the room, and just how obsessed he is with the MC. He seems to mostly be an obsessive yandere, with him pasting the fanfic of the MC's work all over his walls, delusionally believing that he is the same character that the MC writes, confessing his feelings to the MC while they're writing, not killing the MC (since apparently he's killed every other person that came in) and wanting the MC's writings to fix him. He is also a pretty pathetic type of yandere, hoping desperately that the MC (and their writings) would fix them, crying when he does kill the MC and generally seeing himself in their writing, but also rather dangerous just due to his violent nature. It's fun to see dangerous but pathetic yanderes since I feel like that's something that I haven't seen to much.

I am curious about how the other monsters will be like. It seems that as of writing this, the Knight Monster is currently delayed, so I guess we'll see if he ends up being a yandere too. I would recommend this game just on it's humor and interesting kind of intrigue about why these monsters are in the buildings themselves. He does look like a madness combat characters, you're right.

@rinhaler - luxe is def on my top 3, she comes up with very organic scenes. even if it's a simple plot she can develop it so originally. I recently read her underground fighter!sukuna and i'm still thinking about it.

Yuri is a total lovestruck man, when he is in love he is completely blinded by that love, and it is only going to increase once you two are in a relasionship, wanting nothing more but to make you happy and give you a good life

If you ever tell him that you can persive things others not he will believe you almost right away, with a wide smile he asure you that he trust you even if you don't show any kind of evidence. However he will ask for more details out of curiosity, he loves you and wants to know all he can about you, so is only natural for him to want to know more

If you are shy or more nervous about the topic it would take him a moment to understand it and apologize for asking for more (and depending in how nervous you look is going to be how deeply he apologize) and probably even promise to make it up for you

At the end, show evidence of such hability would be almost imposible since is something you and only you persive, and despite that Yuri decide to just trust you and even admire you for it, is a quite unique hability and, in his eyes, you should be proud of! It makes you even more special! For him it doesn't matter anyone else opinion, even if you can't prove that you can actually do it he will not let anyone talk bad about you about it or call you a liar, he will immediatly get protective over you if anyone dares to acuse you of being a failure, even if it is with the smallest hint of doubt

Yuri indirectly encourages you to share more of this hability of yours with him by telling you how amaizing it is or how it makes you more beautiful and special, how lucky is he for having someone so amazing by his side, everytime you are able to persive something (like you can hear a musical note, a smell or even a color) from his emotions his smile just widen, although he really hopes that whatever you percive from him is pleasant to you, the last thing he wants is to upset you

There is no way you'll ever be able to guess something from his work from him, he can be having the most stressful day of his life during work but the moment he is finally able to see you again his entire self transforms into the most happiest person in the world, he may seem a little upset but just because he has being craving for your affection. You can get too notice when he is the slighest mad or stress for work if you sneak behing from behing him but if you confront him about it he will insist that is something you don't need to worry about, just silly little problems but nothing much, besides you are the only thing he needs to feel at his 100% again and he say it in such sincere and loving way that is almost flustering

The fact that you can notice his feelings even if he tries to hide that part of him from you makes him nervous, he want to give you a life where you don't have to worry about a thing and just enjoy, so it scare him a little, feeling like he is getting you involved in his work (even when is far from that), however he immediatly melts once you show worry for him about him feeling that bad, it makes him forget his worries and feel like he has an angel by his side, then again, he insist that having you by his side and your love is more than enough to make him feel better

Ranking drivers based on how well I think they would be in an IndyCar VS F1 dodgeball game. Dont hate yall this is soley for fun:

Logan Sargeant: This man 100% bit people as a child. Also hes american so the tiny bit of school he went to inperson was long enough to give him the dodgeball going apeshit gene. Bonus points becuase of Kyle Kirkwood and the fact that I think the Indycar people go slightly easier on him casue hes going to be joining them soon (fingers cross) (hes also not blatently Europian)

Liam Lawson: he has so much anger in him. That is all you truly need to play dodge ball. Even though his enemy is not in Indycar its so easy to visualize that they are. If your not pissed screaming and cussing out the other side your not playing dodgeball correctly. On that note...

Yuki Tsunoda: Hes small so easy to dodge things, but he has the hate and curssing nessisary for amaerican dodgeball.

Valtteri Bottas: goes with the distraction stradegy and suprisingly it works. (this doesnt work most of the time would not recomend in a true dodgeball game)

Oscar Piastri: Stands off to the side and survives soley on dodges gets out as soon as he trys to throw the balls (this was 1000% me in school)

Daniel Ricciardo: gets super into the game as is suprisingly good

Lewis Hamilton: people are a bit intimidated by him so they dont throw as many balls his way

Franco Colapinto: is protecting lewis half the time gets out but does so in a really cool way

Zhou Guanyu: so quiet that he last a long time hiding

Fernando Alonso: he gets really into it but cant be cool so points lost

Max Verstappen: if he gets nothing out of it and its soley for media than this is so much lower cause hed purposly get out first to not have to do media. Otherwise he trys but its not a video game or car so hes mediocar at it

Checo: doesnt care too much just chatting, he does give other people balls to throw though

Nico Hulkenberg: doesnt care at all just chatting with people around him the whole time

Kevin Magnussen: doesnt care at all just chatting with people, though I feel like hed occasionaly throw a ball so he wouldnt get yelled at

Lance Stroll: I feel like he is the person to try the hang to the side stragety but it wouldnt work

The Bad Kids and their taste in music:

Gorgug: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Gorgug will listen to anything and everything. I feel like at the start of freshman year he would definitely be listening to more of the angsty stuff (evanescence no doubt…) but as he gets more into music with Fig i feel like he’d just be listening to anything he can get his hands on and finding something to love about every song he hears. He would find the most obscure bands and by merch for bands that literally no one has ever heard of, but he would also love a lot of mainstream music as well. Nothing is beneath him, he has respect for all of it. (basically he’s fantasy james acaster). I also feel like he would be the kind of person to change up what he’s listening to depending on who he’s with? And he would definitely have hundreds of playlists made to fit whatever other people want to hear for when he’s allowed to choose the music. He would also probably be the only one whos allowed to choose the music when the bad kids all hang out just because hes the only one with music in common with each of the bad kids, so they know all their favourite music will be included. But when it’s just him alone he’s for sure just playing all his music on shuffle, jumping through genres like nobody's business, and everyone else thinks hes crazy for that.

Fig: definitely starts freshman year with a complicated relationship to music. I like to think that pre teifling discovery she would be very into pop music - but not just whatever was on the radio. I think she would have still taken pride in having great music taste, it just would have been more poppy and cheerful than what she’s starts listening to at the start of the freshman year. She would then make the transition to punk music and i think she’d be one of those ‘i was born in the wrong generation’ people for a little while. But later on, when she starts becoming more comfortable in herself, and she starts to forgive her parents, i think she’d become nostalgic for the music that used to mean so much to her, and she’d start introducing back into her playlists. (She would LOVE punk covers of pop songs). I think for Fig sharing her favourite music with other people would be a really big deal. Like I think she would always be trying to get people to listen to obscure punk bands, and would be doing it in a kind of jokey way, but once she actually starts to trust you and form a bond, thats when she starts recomending her real favourites, and thats when it becomes more serious. She would for sure be the kind of person to take it personally if you dont like her favourite song. (for this reason Gorgug is her favourite person to share music with) She would absolutly LOVE introducing Ayda to all her favourite bands. Ayda is the only person who can tell Fig she doesn't like her music without it being an issue.

Kristen: Like Fig I feel like she would end up with a very complicated relationship to music. She would start the year listening to nothing but helioic music - she would know all the 'cool' helio songs, as well as the cheesy kids songs they sing at camp, and the more traditional songs they sing at church. For a long time that would be the only music she knew. As she starts to lose her faith, she would probably just stop listening to music entierly, finding it hard to figure out what she actually likes to listen to. When she eventually starts listening to music again she would 100% be the kind of person to find a new song, fall in love with it, listen to it a million times, and then never listen to it again. She goes through songs quicker than she goes through new deities. She is consantly asking her friends to recomend her new music because shes sick of everything shes currently got downloaded. I think sometimes she would get nostalgic for the old helioic music, but then she'd listen to .5 seconds of a song and realise just how god awful it really was and it would leave her feeling just really lost and dissapointed for a while. It would be just another thing from her childhood that has lost all of the usual warmth nostalgia brings and instead just leaves a sour taste in her mouth.

Riz: Riz would start the year claiming to be one of those people who just 'isnt really into music'. He doesnt have time to be listening to music when there are so many mysteries to solve. He would probably tolerate other people playing music around him but probably wouldnt enjoy it. Fig would be absolutly outraged to hear this and would make it her mission to find something he likes. She goes through like every genre she can think of and hes just indifferent to all of it, then one day gorgug would reccomend something really bizzare and obscure (like fantasy drowned shrimp) and Riz would just lose his mind over it, just immediatly obssessed, and Fig would just be absolutly baffled. (i can also low key see him really like fantasy Canterbury Scene, specifically fantasy Caravn)

Fabian: I'm sorry I feel like I'm always shitting on Fabian but he would absolutly have the worst taste in music out of all the bad kids. He grew up on a combo of weird elven music, sea shanties, and whatever was playing on the fantasy radio. I fully believe he would be the kind of person who couldnt tell the difference between good music and shitty cash grab music if it hit him in the face. This would cause endless arguements between him and Fig where he would defend his taste in music to the death while Fig gets more and more frustrated trying to show him actual Good Music only to be met with complete indifference. HOWEVER this would completely change in sophmore year, after his journey of self discovery. He would have to learn more about music to facilitate his dancing and i feel like he'd have like a full on epiphany of like 'oh that music really is shit...' He would stubbornly not admit it to Fig, just discreetly ask Gorgug for some recomendations of good High Elven music that he can dance to.

Adaine: Similar to Kristen and Fabian in that she only ever listened to what her parents played her. She grew up exclusivly on Classical Elven music. I feel like she probably wouldnt even really know that there was other music out there? Or maybe she was aware but just felt decision paralysis trying to find something new to listen to. I think her transition to other music would be very slow, and she would always use Classical as her background music for when shes studdying. I can see Adaine loving songs with complex lyrics (I'm thinking fantasy Mitski, and fantasy Hozier type lyrics.) Then one day shes invited along to a cig figs gig and she would discover a whole new style of music and fall slightly in love. Punk deffinitly wouldnt be her favourite genre, but it would be so perfect for the days when shes feeling particularly bad about her shitty childhood, and Fig would absolutly support that. Adaine definitly wouldnt like anything too heavy, the proper loud, screamy songs just a bit too jarring, so Fig would take the time to hand pick the most low key punk songs she can find for Adaine. (she has definitly made her more than one mix CD, Adaine treasures every single one)

Theory on *that* character based on 2.2 story spoilers.

Major spoilers for CN servers, 1.9 and beyond: I think I have enough pieces and delulu to create this theory.

Idk to call this theory: uh Urd theory I guess?

Summary: If it is confirmed that people do not die physically in the Storm, Mr Duncan confirms that like places people are flung into different time periods and eras, then what if this is happening to Urd? Whatever she did has led to partial memory erasure of sorts that becoming a biographer has become a method to ensure part of her memory is retained.

(I would call this theory Generation Loss based ok the what happens to tapes maybe?)

This theory hopes to explain why multiple names are tied to the same pale blued haired blind woman who seems to appear everywhere in the game. More specifically explain the existence of Martha.

Heres a list of the different identities and their appearances:

Urd/ A friend from Afar/ Dolores: 100% confirmed to be the same individual, appeared in Brazil Sao Paulo, mentioned in both Rayashki and London (Rimet Cup). The Friend from Afar also makes frequent appearances in ingame email. Noted to be a doctor.

Besmert: appears in the 1.6 Notes on Shori, travelled for a while with Yensei to Pei City, had enough influence to recomend Yensei to join Team Timekeeper.

Martha: appears in 1.4,1.7 and 1.9 on the island of Aperion. She is hinted to be a recent member of the island and seemingly disappears in the 1914 Storm. Also acts as a doctor.

It is easy to connect Urd to Bessmert but harder to connect Martha to these identities since we explictly see her disappear into the Storm in 1.9. Yet suddenly shes back in 2.2 in Sao Paulo as a doctor (Maybe White Rum may have more info on Urd but until someone uploads her voicelines I cannot say).

My current running theory is that all of these are the same person, from Igor likely her true name (or in arcanist fashion this is the one she commonly goes by) is Urd and that she is Vertin's mother since mannerisms and appearances are so close to be just a coincidence.

But the real problem is her memory, Igor knows her, know she has done something that she changed her in some way and now in the eyes of Igor and the Manus has become someone that can change the fate of the world. She must have held a significant position in the Foundation to receive the marble chair as we know even individuals like Lucy as the head of Laplace and even Constantine do not directly speak to the White Marble House instead communicate through the doves sent to them.

The only info we have on Vertin's mother is the hostpital bed and the fact that the Foundation denies her existence.

Heres the theory:

What if when the Foundation says she doesn't exist this is quite literal as in they don't know she exists at all? But Igor knows? Lets remember Joe in 2.0 and the seemingly two Paulinas, the Storm erasure has a weird effect on how a person might be remembered, going back to my Mandela theory maybe Urd's existence from whatever happened to the white chair caused a swipe of her existence especially since she may as well been the epicentre of the first Storm. Characters like Greta Hoffman do note the foggy recollection of the Storm by those present and not taken by the Storm itself.

But what does that mean for Urd? I speculate Urd likely was a war or field medic if she was working closely with Zeno, evident in 2.2 she is caring for war veterans in Sao Paulo. If Urd is anything like Vertin, which in small ways alr we can say she is, whatever she did using the chair literally involved huges risks she believed necessary to end whatever conflict or goal she and Igor pursued, regardless of what happened to her.

Small hints suggest that: Urd pressed the button on the chair, nothing or something happened and afterwards she walked into the white house and that was the last Igor saw of her. What if this "white house" contained the hospital bed she and her mother were separated by? What if this all happened somewhere within the White Marble House that seemingly is well guarded and very high access is needed to enter?

What about Bessmert and Martha? If the Storm js capable of throwing people into different eras and completely overriding their current existence to change slightly like Mr Duncan, what if this is what happens to Urd? But she might be immune like Vertin? I predict that whatever happened with the white house has cause something to damage or alter her memory that recording everything is crucial?

What if Urd knew that her memory would be affected so greatly that becoming a biographer and writer for UTTU was a means to retain her identity and experiences. Maybe whether current her knows or not, as the Friend From Afar is her directly talking to Vertin. Maybe not fully aware of who exactly she is writing to but nevertheless compelled to write to Vertin?

Another theory or maybe this is adding on but Urd is directly responsible for the creation of the Storm, potentially as a means to resolve whatever conflict she and Zeno found themselves fighting and losing by 1999, a solution that would backfire so greatly now for 8 years the world constantly is faced with time going haywire? And if thats the case then Igor and Manus seeking and kidnapping her would make sense, they see her as the creator of the Storm (whether she remembers or not) and potentially want her tl create them at will.

High republic books? Where does one start? Thankyou.

Ok so this is a long long answer.

Basically there were a group of Star Wars Authors who got together to make a project that has already lasted years and Lucasfilms seems to be betting strong in this era.

The name of the project is Project Luminous and it spans several books, comics and audiobooks at this time. The story is set 200 years before Episode I and about a 100 (if I'm not mistaken) before the Acolyte. And it's about the Jedi Order at it's peak fighting a new foe, the Nihil, who I can best define as a space biker gang of vikings (they are great).

Due to the sheer volume of material it's divided in three phases and each phase is divided in waves. There is usually three books in each wave (adult, young adult and middle grade), a main comic run, a second comic run called High Republic Adventures (personally, my favourite) and then there are usually audiobooks, short stories and shorter comic runs.

What I usually do is read all the books in a wave (I'm a terribly slow reader, so it takes me a while) and when I catch up to that I read all the comic books unless I saw that it was reccomended otherwise.

I found this list about the reading order for Phase I that is pretty comprehensive. It's just missing the audiobook Tempest Runner by Cavan Scott, that would go between Wave 2 and 3.

But whatever you do you should start with Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule. Not only is a really enjoyable read, it's the beginning of everything that happens later.

I know that the sheer volume of books and comics can be intimidating. But they are all really good and a lot of them connect with each other. Many of the main characters of books and comics appear in other books and such. Or some of them have shown up in the Acolyte like Vernestra Rwoh who is the main character in four of the books (A test of courage by Justina Ireland is one of my favourites).

However if you think it's too much or don't have much time I would recommend that for Phase I you read the Adult novels (Light of the Jedi, The Rising Storm and the Fallen Star) and for Phase II you read Path of of Deceit, The Battle of Jedha (audiobook) and Path of Vengeance. Phase III is still going on and I still have to catch up, so I can't say right now what is essential to read and what not.

As a personal recommendation, my favourite book so far has been Midnight Horizon by Daniel José Older, who also writes The High Republic Adventures comic run which I also love. If you find yourself liking this era but again you are unsure where to continue reading, I really reccomend these two stories. They also have some of my favourite moments in the whole of Star Wars.

One last recomendation. DON'T READ IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. Phase II does a jump to the past explaining the origin of certain things. And I have seen reading lists that put these books before the ones in Phase I. Don't start there. Light of the Jedi is the first thing you should be reading.

Um you can totally ignore this and im really sorry if this is rude but um you should totally include more of oc being a badass and then when someone else comes along goes back to being ditzy and soft, i think people want to see more of that cuz it such an interesting take on a character because she has two different personalities and its totally crazy. Like you can have her try to kill jungkook again with force this time and then someone comes in the room and she hides the knife behind her back (that has blood on it. His and hers) and sweetly asks them about their day. I personally want to see her try to kill jungkook a bunch of times and then like the fifth time she realizes hes just as crazy as she her maybe even more abd kinda feels her heart swoon but pushes it deep deep down. Jungkook would be comepletely unfazed by the murder attempts and just go on with his day except for the entertainment and amusement he would get through out the day bcuz his tiny ditzy wife is trying to kill him and then at maybe an important event she would try to kill him and he'd get angry and show her some casual dominance and tell her to shape up cuz there are dangerous and important people there and she would listen yk cuz of the threats.

Btw ik he has dirt on her and is bkackmailing her to be a good wife but she can carry out the murder attempts in secret but he could 100% know whats going on but finds it super funny and just lets her do her thing.

But honey you do a great job alr and im not telling you how to write your story its just some ideas and im sorry if it offends you but i think you are amazing.
