as much as I agree that jihl should've been a more major antagonist and had more time to shine, I really don't think she should've been the main antagonist purely because of how ffxiii criticizes the church specifically

having some old white dude like the pope dysley treat her, a woman in his command with great potential to take his place and who gave her all to serve the sanctum, like she's nothing to him and striking her down when he deems she's served her purpose to him is, in a fucked up way, fitting when you consider how the church has and continues to abuse women in favor of uplifting the patriarchy

final fantasy definitely needs more female villains, just not when the organization it's critiquing has historically been led by men. sadistic as she was, jihl was being used by the sanctum no less than cid raines and yaag rosch were (it's something all of them have in common as minor antagonists), she just wasn't given the same afterthought by the game fsr

#her concept art is making the rounds on twt and so many people were talking about how she shouldve been the main antag and i just hhhh idkk #this is just my opinion of course but i am grateful she wasnt the big bad when you take all this into account #her character did definitely go to waste though there shouldve been more to her #i do think it can represent how women arent allowed to fulfill their potential under the church but thats also a half-cope on my end lol #final fantasy xiii #jihl nabaat

SPOP's poor design aside, i don't understand the logic behind giving a character a feature just to make fun of them for it.

yes, i'm talking about Adora and her hair poof.

like, moving aside genuine criticism ( the fact that it's completely separated from the rest of her hair, for some reason? even tho Nate draws it like normal ), the amount of times the show pokes fun at her hair poof for no reason just makes me feel like the writers went "she's too perfect or wtv, so let's make a trait // feature to make fun of her for, cuz everyone likes that".

the fandom finds it hilarious, but imagine if they did the same thing with Catra. i don't think the fandom would let that slide, to be honest.

The beloved mascot of this hellscape + the antagonist of an original story, [Lost In Transit], which I plan to put out someday!!

Some sillies:

The Conductor oversees "Point Nemo," a station that isn't a part of any railway system. Legends say that those who want to disappear or don't feel like they belong anywhere wind up in this place.

They claim to be married to a mannequin named "Irene," yet this is completely false and just them being delulu and desperate.

For some wildass reason, she uses a Christmas tree as one of their weapons. This is beyond strange, as the area they inhabit, which is an island, does not have any Pine trees in the vicinity.
