Agamemnon sucks for a lot of people, I know. He sacrificed a lot of people’s life and even his own family for the war, his own child.

But in context of siblings,

it’s often the older sibling to play the mean one, the evil one and the younger sibling could then be less “stained”. That it’s the older one’s duty to take care of his little brother when their parents were not there. That he needed to put up a brave face so that no one would take his younger sibling lightly.

His wife, his children came later into his life, they were indeed important, but his siblings, they knew each other the moment the younger one’s sign of life bloomed in their mother’s womb. It’s a lifetime bond. They knew each other then when they were nothing, and now when they’re something. And if life went well , they would die roughly the same time too.

Parents would only be there during the first half, and their spouses and children during the second half. But siblings, wouldn’t they live along each other all of their lifetime?

Am I saying what he did is right?Hell no. But it’s another way to look at his ruthlessness and protective tendencies for his lil bro.

Was at a farmers market recently and there was a giant white sighthound of some kind with a woman. He was standing stock-still nervously staring at this eggplant shaped exactly like his head until someone bumped the table, the eggplant moved, and he jumped about a foot in the air. The woman, who I don't think even saw what happened, just patted his head and told him 'everything is ok' without looking up from her tomatoes, and he just looked up at her with the most pathetic and tearful expression before hiding behind her legs from the produce. Like, I've never seen a dog that looked like it was physically holding back tears before, but now I get it. All I could think for the entire rest of the market was "that's Machete". Felt like I saw a celebrity. I get why you characterized him like that, the sighthounds really are just anxiety on stilts with big watery eyes. Just wanted to share.

I'm writing one of the upcoming scripts and a character that I love (to hate) is going to be introduced and I know he's gotta go hard, like really, genuinely a terrible, cruel person, but he's interacting with a character that people really like so how hard is too hard.

I want people to hate him but I also don't want to have to deal with people saying "if you like this character you condone xyz and also you killed my grandma in cold blood" lol

(The answer is that people are going to want this guy's head on a pike by the time I'm through and I wouldn't have it any other way)

the thing that will always stick to me from the devil judge is how polar opposites yohan and gaon are and yet — they stand for the same things. it's just a load of misunderstandings, miscommunication, and yohan's past trauma.

and yet, in those moments when yohan has let his guard down enough for gaon to peek past the angry boy persona he has, the man is absolutely whipped.

he watches yohan with so much fondness in his eyes, eyes crinkled up, a full blown smile on his face as he just watches yohan?? truly?? be?? himself??

in my mind, gaon ditches the rotten system and goes with gaon to live in switzerland and they have their happily ever after with elijah, komi.
