Bumblebee

This Bumblebee is such an interesting character for me, mainly because he is finally taking the serious role in the series. Due to a lot of responsibilities with his own team (newbies, a half-functioning minicon, a clumsy cute dinobot!) and constant Decepticons' attacks. He puts up with a lot of stress. 🐝 probably prefers soft moments of intimacy (honestly, I can't even imagine yan!🐝 being violent at all); maybe even let you do the job while he can just relax and finally forget about controlling everything and everyone. He is vocal, though he would probably try to put his own servo over his mouth, mainly because he's still a bit shy that someone might hear him. I mean, looking back at where they 'live'...good luck.

This Bumblebee probably has a praise kink, and he would absolutely MELT when you call him 'sir'. It's just something that gets him going even when he's too tired to even move a finger.

Respect, respect, he likes it! Whether you're the one receiving pleasure, whining and accidentally moaning the soft 'lieutenant!' during it, or holding him down, telling Bumblebee how good he is, such a good and caring leader...your poor lieutenant Bee! You're probably putting a lot of dirty and unnecessary thoughts in his processor.

Grimlock

Grimlock absolutely knows how good he is. He also absolutely understands what role he has in the team. Muscles. And he has no shame when it comes to his size! He is used to bots around him being annoyed when he accidentally breaks something or bumps into stuff, the 🦖 gets a little confused when he meets someone who's...into it? I think he would probably be into size kink when his partner shows that they love how big he is! But probably a little worried since he doesn't want to hurt you. Is he doing well with using his sharp digits inside you? Grimlock doesn't want to hurt his sparkmate!!

Despite having an intimidating look, he is a massive dork (affectionately) who is totally in love with his partner. That's why Grimlock being responsible big dinobot would always make sure you're satisfied first! He is still reluctant about doing it in his dino mode, but he might take this challenge only if you would be on top of him. Otherwise, it would be...awkward.

Sideswipe

Young, arrogant, and painfully determined when it comes to a good fragging. At first glance, you might think he's incredibly experienced, and he'll pretend he is until it comes to a moment of intimacy between you. An extremely confident bot will start to blush and hide his face as soon as you straddle him, and no matter how hard he tries to squeeze out a smirk, it's hard not to notice the little shiver that runs through his body.

But a little determination with you, and you see the old Sideswipe again. He will tease and try to coax a reaction out of you, but only because he longs for you to finally snap and give him a good spanking. He really is into being tamed by his sparkmate, especially if they're better than him in everything.

Strongarm

Sometimes she talks about Cybertronian rules so much, you wonder if she mutters them even when she's asleep? Strongarm always wants what is best for her loved one, so it is no surprise that she shared with you everything she knows.

Strongarm very well mirrors Sideswipe, but in everything Sideswipe is cocky and teasing, Strongarm is cautious and responsible. Sure, she has her own moments, but Primus help her! She totally can't help when you try to distract her whenever she gives you a lecture. Everything you do seems to catch her attention. The way you look at her, or how you bite your lip when thinking about something... It is probably very, very wrong and unprofessional when you try to seduce her, calling her by the title and playing as if you're one of the criminals she caught. This will not affect her results, right?

Steeljaw

Scratching, lots of scratching. The cunning wolfticon is not so gentle at all, not to imagine, if he's obsessed with his darling. I'm just very sorry for their paint job. It must be so tiring polishing your armor and fixing the small scratches around the insides of your thighs and hips every single time you two decide to get intimate together. Scratching is not only his way of separating himself from the former fraction but a way of marking someone. A three simple but a little too deep mark on your shoulder is now a longtime reminder of who you belong to.

But it doesn't mean it doesn't work both ways. If 🐺 is in the right mood, with his tail wagging behind his back and his spike slamming into you so deep it makes you seem stars, he will probably encourage you to leave some marks on him as well.

Underrated MCU pairings

Happy Hogan and Peter Parker: THIS is the grumpy & sunshine trope you need. This is the MCU's Eleven & Hopper. The Ellie and Joel. While everyone was mooning over irondad Happy Hogan was putting in the WORK. Let's have some appreciation for this man and the way he took care of Peter in FFH and NWH. Also the scene where May dies and you can see Happy's heart break not for himself but for PETER. It was breathtaking, thank you Jon Favreau

Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff: They give big "my ex is gay so now we're just besties" energy. And the fun thing is you can choose which one is gay! They will most definitely be gossiping in the back of the room. Yes they are judging you. Yes they are hotter than you. Yes they say "I hate you" constantly and yes, that actually means "I love you" for them. People forget that other than Clint and Nat these two have been friends the longest in the Avengers. They hurt each other badly because they know each other, and they forgive because they care

Clint Barton and Wanda Maximoff: Clint being a dad in MCU is surprisingly fitting and the way he recognized that Wanda was just a hurt kid being used as a pawn and helped guide her was fantastic. The "you're an Avenger if you step out those doors" speech in AOU? Glorious. And in Civil War when he comes to rescue her from the compound and holds her hand like AH I don't even have daddy issues and I'm looking at Clint like "papa 🥺". Plus the respect and love shared for Pietro was really moving: "Nathaniel Pietro Barton"

T'Challa and Steve Rogers: Both born leaders, they have an incredible understanding of the duty and responsibility they each shoulder. Such a natural respect and trust between people who may not have much personal history, but share the same lionheart. T'Challa trusting Steve with Wakanda's secrets was special, and showing up time and time again for him. Plus the "someone get this man a shield!" before the Infinity War battle was the cherry on top

I finally watched Wicked and I have thoughts (I haven't read anyone else's takes because I didn't want to spoil myself so these are purely my own thoughts right after seeing the movie).

In the beginning, when Glinda and Elphaba were singing about how much they hated each other, I was sure there was gonna be enough queerbaiting for everyone on Tumblr to be rightfully mad. I usually don't end up shipping the queer couple everyone is, I think a lot of the time I feel like relationships in shows seem forced in general? But I immediately thought about it here. I mean, 'What is this feeling I felt the moment I laid eyes on you'? Then, the guy showed up, and I actually thought he was pretty sweet. He treated Elphaba normally right from the start, and he didn't seem to know how ean Glinda was yet when he got with her (the scene during the dance when he says it's not your fault). And then, Glinda's 'redemption arc' was entirely unsatisfactory (which I know was the point, but these are my thoughts in the middle of the movie and I knew very little about the plot). I know Glinda was never supposed to actually be good, but I was still frustrated by how easily Elphaba forgave her and called her her best friend. I guess I can understand that when you have no friends your entire life, your standards can be low (I'm speaking from experience). Still, I wish she's given a little more pushback during the makeover scene. None of that really matters, though, because Elphaba chose being an anti-fascist over going along with Glinda's bullshit (even though there I was also kind of annoyed by how amicably they seemed to part ways, Elfaba still calling Glinda her friend?) Anyway, I guess what I'm getting at is that though I'd also like it if Elphaba simply didn't have a love interest, I like the dudebro more than Elphaba and Glinda. I don't know if that's unpopular, I haven't read any takes yet. I think I'd like it most if he was her knew best friend. A lot of the time dudes that are supposed to be incredible in movies are actually pretty mediore, but he helped her with the animal and went after her.

The movie portrayed bullying so much more accurately than most movies. I don't mean the musical scenes where everyone was disgusted by her, I mean Glinda's subtle things. The hat, constantly saying condescending things packaged in niceness, etc.

I'm not sure where I stand on her sister. I don't know if her being embarassed by Elphaba's presence in the beginning (before she did the magic, when thet were talking to the teacher) was because she was embarassed of her older sister babysitting her or Elphaba being green. I do hope she and Elphaba find each other again.

A lot of the scenes genuinely fucked me up, they were so accurate to the rise of fascism we're seeing right now. I cried during so many of the creature's scenes, and during the painful transformation of the monkey. I don't want to speak a lot on how welm the racism allegory was done (I do always wonder about the fact that in movie's like this, the racism is only about the literal color of her skin. As the only green person, there's not any culture or other things that minorities are also opressed for in the real world. The animals had more of that, though. I think I'll read more about how people felt about that, because as a white person I obviously can't say if it spone to my experience or not.)

A lot of the time Ariana Grande was singing so high I had trouble understanding the words. To be fair, the theater I was watching it at had german subtitles and watching in one language and reading in another is very confusing when you're fluent in both

I don't know if anyone else mentioned Violet's hair yet but I just finished OS and been scrolling tumblr to vibe with everyone! Saw an ask about Violet's hair and why it is the way it is. I just figured I'd add that the way I understood it was that Asher took Violet (alone) to the temple of Dunne to attempt to "fix her," but when the High Priestess saw that her fate was not finalized (the whole scene with Mira and Brennan when Mira finds out Xaden turned), the dedication wasn't complete and never would be so her hair doesn't turn entirely silver like the rest of the priestesses they see. So when Violet sees the little girl, it's because the dedication was begun but it won't be finalized until a path to a set fate has been started (does that even make sense? idk.)

Also, I was almost a little sad when Theophanie died lmao she was such an evil bitch but I loved seeing a character like that.

Also also, I know you talked about how Violet and Xaden's relationship felt not entirely canon, but I wanted to add a different perspective (ehem mine) to it! I felt like these two people have grown into their current selves after dealing with so much loss, and Xaden, besides Tairn and Andarna, is the only thing that kept Violet grounded through all of it. Sure, he was a big part of her mental instability and turmoil, but he was her rock too. It seemed natural for me that Violet shifted into a badass confident, "will do anything to save him" girl considering he did that for her. His "touch her and die" turned into her "I don't care about anything except saving him." Of course the whole point of everyone reading is that they develop their opinions and that's what makes the book community fun (and terrible).

This is an incredibly long ask and I apologize for taking up so much space LOL but I'd love to hear people's thoughts about all this

yeah violet's hair debacle was definitely a little confusing, but that's the gist i got of it too! that whole situation is reason #1 asher is on my shit list, like what do you mean you wanted to "fix" your daughter? absolutely not

i agree to a certain extent about xaden and violet! they've always been pretty ride or die for each other, but the biggest issue for me was that there wasn't a great transition into violet's moral grayness (poisoning people to death, threatening children) given what we knew of how far she was willing to go before. and even if she did feel the need to do those things, i expected her to struggle with it a little. she's never wanted to be a killer, and she never would have brought children into her schemes. since we're in her head, the lack of inner turmoil about it all was a little jarring, but i can also see why people wouldn't think twice about it. and also why people love this version of them so much! i definitely do too but there was a lot about this book that felt abrupt

I was watching Chapter 15: The Believer yesterday and something stood out to me that I guess I'd never really thought about before...

When the Juggernaut is getting attacked by the Pirates, we see several shots of Din struggling without his armour. It's a new way of fighting for him and he struggles to adapt at first.

He quickly rallies and skilfully fights them off, though. But more pirates soon appear and after fighting them off, Din is thrown backwards. He sees several pirates approaching.

Din lies down in defeat, powerless to fight them off without his armour or weapons. Knowing his death is likely imminent, without hope of survival.

Instead of giving up and accepting defeat, he does not allow himself to wallow in despair and mystery. After sighing deeply he steadies himself and gets right back up:

Facing down death as the pirates approach, he does not show weakness or fear.

He doesn't allow himself to be cowardly, or dwell on his likely impending doom and the fact he has failed in his quest to rescue the child he loves so much...

Instead, Din stands there with his fists up, outnumbered and without weapons, prepared to fight to the end even in the face of certain death...

Fortunately, of course, the TIE Fighters appear to save the day and Din succeeds in his quest to rescue Grogu and, well, you know the rest.

But I think this little moment in one of the best episodes is such a good insight into his character.

Standing up with his fists clenched like that, outnumbered and hopeless but refusing to accept defeat is perhaps one of the most Mandalorian things he's ever done. Yet only a few minutes later he removes his helmet and that act leaves him rendered an apostate in the eyes of his people. Told he is a Mandalorian no more, even.

It's kind of heartbreaking because he really did not deserve to be told that. Mandalorians are proud warriors, who never give up. Being a coward is the worst insult in Mando'a, their ancient language. Here, Din showed that he is nothing of the sort.

Din Djarin is as honourable a Mandalorian as they come.

i am so charmed by a lumax wedding because it’s not even something max thought would happen. like she assumed weddings were something the girl makes happen and the guy puts up with. and because she had no desire for one, so there’s no reason it would happen.

among other things weddings are an exorbitant and performative show of love, max loves lucas and she doesn’t care whether or not other people know or believe this. at it’s best marriage to her has been a representation of failed dreams and at it’s worst it’s been a tool to manipulate people who need to get away to stay. maybe they will get married for the tax benefits, she thinks.

this is until max and lucas are older and living together, they’re chilling on the couch and lucas mentions his family has been asking when he’s planning to propose and if that’s something max even wants? max doesn’t care, she doesn’t plan on going anywhere, a certificate won’t change anything and she's not crazy about parties. she doesn’t ask how he feels, he brings it up, that “actually i want a wedding.”

that is saying the least, lucas wants a wedding more than anything. he loves max and he doesn’t need to prove that to anyone, but he’s happy and he wants to share that with others! he wants to work with max to make marriage a positive thing to them, he wants to celebrate their love, everything they’ve been through. also, hell, he’s only human, he wants to show off! he wants to dress really cool and go to a really cool place and show the world know how awesome he and his girlfriend are. HIS WIFE!!!

most of all, lucas wants the moment near the end of the night, where the party’s getting loud and everybody wants his attention, but max asks if he wants to get out of there and he says yes. not out out, just outside the venue. it’s dark and the once booming music is now faint, they sit and catch up, complain about their families, laugh about their friends. max holds lucas’s hand and plays with his wedding ring, she whispers something sweet before asking him to dance. it’s the best part of the night and nobody will know about it but them.

suddenly max decides she wants a wedding.

Warriors who knows he’s gorgeous and uses it to his advantage vs. Time who’s the most stunning man on the planet but completely unaware of it and is just absolutely oblivious to the fact that he gets hit on almost every single time he, Wars, and Twi go out for drinks because he honest to god just thinks people are being nice and friendly

and no matter how many times someone (Warriors) has been like “hey man, they were fucking flirting with you”, he is unable to recognize it the next time it happens. Warriors thinks he a lost cause, and Malon has definitely sat there more than once and watched someone hit on Time and shoot their shot, not realizing he’s married. and she just laughed her ass off because Time wouldn’t get the hint if it slapped him in the fucking face, bless his heart, and she’s had to go and rescue him because he just seriously cannot tell when people are hitting on him. He’s definitely embarrassed about it every single time it happens, but he just does not get it

is he smooth as fuck when HE’S flirting with his wife? absolutely. can he figure out when anyone is flirting with him? absolutely not.

Jeremy looked away for a second as it all sank in. As much as it was an honor to have inspired such as powerful song, he also felt incredibly sad to be the source of Cora's suffering. All he'd wanted was protect himself but things turned out to be more complicated than that, and it was such a shame that he was finding out after all this time.

Cora still held those feelings just like he did but was it as simple as that? Should he admit that he still loved her and everything would fall back into place? It seemed way to good to be true but then again, it was probably just Jeremy punishing himself because he felt guilty. However, if there was something he was 100% sure of and it was that he owed her the truth , just like she'd bared her soul this morning and on stage.

His gaze found her again. It was now or never.

"I'm honestly not sure how to feel because I'm honored you still have those feelings for me but I'm also deeply sorry to have caused so much pain. To be honest with you, I was hoping you still felt that way because things haven't changed on my side either... I mean... with so many pairs of ears around, it's probably not the best place to talk about this". With that, he offered a small smile before rolling his shoulders back. It wasn't important if anyone overheard their conversation, what mattered was that it was finally happening. Maybe it was meant to be after all? Maybe as she'd said, they needed to work on being happy individually before meeting again? Although he wished they'd remained together, he liked that explanation because it actually made sense. "What I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry for hurting you, I thought... I was trying to protect myself because I thought it was only a matter of time before you'd want to move on and trust me, I realize how much a of a fool I've been and I'm pretty sure I don't deserve you now that you seemed to be where you want in life. But I still love you, Cora. I never stopped".

Cora asked for a bottle of water, and when the bottle was handed to her, she took it and took a sip, then looked at Jeremy as he approached her.

She smiled at him and felt a sense of relief that he still was there.

"Its one of my more popular ones. Usually the regulars request it." She explained to him. She chewed her lip a little. "I'm glad you like it." She then added. "It was... kind of inspired by you. First thing I wrote after we broke up" She said softly.

She took another sip of her water and wondered what to say, she took another breath and looked up into his eyes "It was the hardest thing I ever wrote, but every word of it was true. It was like every emotion poured into those lyrics. And I sing it so often, that it feels almost natural to say those words over and over again, but seeing you here, and saying them out loud in front of you makes it all feel a little raw again." She admitted. "And please don't think thats me telling you to leave, I don't want you to leave, I couldn't bear it if you left me." She said honestly. "I mean.... its good that once again I feel those emotions with that song, because i really do mean them." She said softly.

"You were my biggest happiness in life Jeremy, and my biggest regret. I don't ever regret being with... I regret how we ended, and I know I should of been honest with you, but I was scared of the truth, that if I admitted all that, that I wasn't good enough, that my job was something to be ashamed of, then you might of seen it too." She said.

"I didn't want to be stripper.. It was a way to survive." She told him.

Tears began to fill her eyes. "All I have dreamt of, since the day we got together, was to have a future, to have a family. But I couldn't do that in that job, I couldn't be that person at that time. So I thought I was doing what was best for not only me.... but for you. So you could have that with someone you didn't have to lie to your parents about." She breathed.

"And I know I tod you most of that this morning, but that song, its everything I felt after we broke up. How I knew it felt like the right thing, but I regretted hurting you the way I did, and that my heart will always be yours and that one day, I hope you could forgive me." She told him.

She knew it wasn't exactly the right place to talk about this, but the song had brought up so much for her.

She knew, looking up at him, that the song still stood. That she did still love him. Never Stopped. But she also knew it was possible that he had fully moved on. So all she could hope for, was his forgiveness.
