My personal experience with athena

What is athena like? academic good GODS. i knew that because i was the smart kid in my class who always seemed to get the high scores id one day rock up with her in my artillery and guess what? i was right. i have a feeling when my work really starts to ramp up and get harder she'll be the one helping me with my studies and just watching over happy that im not procrastinating or doing something stupid.. How do i see athena? i remember when i was trying to id her (aka in shambles) and all i got was an image of a book being pulled down in what seemed to be a marble library and i had my head in my hands like "THATS NOT VERY HELPFUL??" LMAO?? i keenly remember wondering where i would put other deities alters in my room and got very excited at the fact that i could have athenas alters on my books and dedicate my books to her oh gods i was elated. What was the biggest shock when working with athena? surprisingly? her e'rgane epithets (" that is, the worker, a surname of Athena, who was believed to preside over and instruct man in all kinds of arts" quoted from https://www.theoi.com/Cult/AthenaTitles.html) i didnt know she had connections to the arts and it was a very very nice surprise to figure out!! for people afraid of manifesting with the void

before we get started... i want to say a few things. this post is being written by someone who had been afraid of the void, and i still kind of am tbh. but, i've done a ton of research on the void state and i am making this post to help comfort myself and other people who may be procrastinating entering the void because of their fears.

what is the void state?

the void state is a deep state of meditation where you are pure conciousness. it is also known as the "i am" state. it can help you manifest things, and also shift realities. its as simple as that!

why shouldn't i be afraid?

well, all it is is a deep meditation. i've never heard of meditation being scary or dangerous. with that being said, i don't think you have anything to worry about. it also isn't anything fantastical like it may seem! ITS JUST MEDITATION. a really cool meditation obvi, but not anything more.

will i shift if i use the void state?

not unless you want to. manifesting and shifting are two separate things. manifesting is attracting something into your life, aka into your current world and life usually permanently. shifting is going into another reality for a certain period of impermanent time (shifters correct me if im wrong). therefore, you will not shift. why would affirming in a meditative state make you shift? exactly, it won't! just don't affirm to shift!

will my previous life get wiped out?

NOOOOO. if you've manifested before you know that that's not the case!!! manifesting is attracting something into your life and that won't wipe anything out lmao.

how does it all work?

you know how manifesting is attracting something through belief right? well, in the void, everything passes through your mind without judgment, therefore your manifestation process is just super speedy and basically instant because you already believe in your manifestation!

soooo yeah. i hope that post cleared some things up for you. the void isn't anything crazy, just meditation. i've also done a ton of research on the void so i hope this is all accurate. correct me if im wrong lol.

In the beginning of ep 1, when Marcille is rambling about where they could go to get food and what to grab, Chilchuck listens with a big smile & even closes his eyes as they walk. The implication is that he’s thinking about food, but man the scene hits different now that it’s voiced and I remember that indeed Chilchuck is closing his eyes to her voice and enjoying hearing her talk and ramble. I may be too far gone into the marchil pit

I feel like already they’ve come far from when Chilchuck dreaded being alone with Shuro and Marcille, waiting for the Toudens and Namari to arrive.

Ok this might actually be smth I’m gonna complain about but I feel like blushes have been drawn too vividly so far. Why does Chilchuck look like he’s confessing when he tells her she’s not a burden and he didn’t mean to make her feel that way. It almost comes across as "Woah she cares what I think?" 💀 The banter ensuing is of course also great

Ep 2 was an episode centered on them both that had the "Magic/Traps are my domain, don’t interfere!" parallel… And now with ep 3 we’re back to them being haters together. That’s her emotional support man

In ep 4, it doesn’t show well with a screenshot but when Senshi talks about his unmanned vegetable stand with a treasure chest, while in the manga Marcille and Chilchuck both think the same thing, "That’s why that treasure chest akways had money in it…", but in the anime instead they literally finish each other’s thought. Talk about being on the same wavelength.

Ep 5 is a marchil goldmine actually, it showcases perfectly how much of a package deal they are lol. Always sticking close to each other. Glancing at each other during meals… They literally nod at each other before they try a bite to steel themselves. They exchange a serious thoughtful glance when Laios talks about Falin truly being gone atm. They argue a bit but they go right back to sitting right next to each other after the meal <3 My god I can’t deal with them they are so…… "Hate this bitch, not my friend" 3 secs later "Heyy bestie!!" Also he’s worried he brought her mood down after mentioning Falin. Made a post about ep 5 collecting even more screenshots.

I love just how much Marcille blushed damn- It’s really cute too when you remember with the bicorn chapter that Chilchuck teases Marcille BECAUSE he enjoys getting a rise out of her, flustering her and seeing her reactions. I support the teasing -> laughing because her reaction is over the top all-Chilchuck economy. Also she apologizes for having let him go alone and be gone for so long by helping him with sewing his cowl… Cuties

6 - April

You cannot convince me she isn’t a 2012 Tumblr girl like… look at her. She spent most of her teenage years debating with homophobes on the internet. She would 100% watch supernatural and 100% ship Castiel.

"Would she fetishise mlm relationships?" NO. She would also watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ship Fuffy. She reads yaoi AND yuri in her spare time.

If she swoons over a mutant and an alien getting together, she will 100% do the same for a gay couple.

Probably taught the others not to be homophobic (mostly the top 3).

If you believe she hates the LGBT+ community, I am sorry but you are objectively wrong I will be hunting you for sport right now. I am outside your house with the episode "Karai's Vendetta" playing loudly on my laptop.

5 - Donnie

While I cannot imagine him ever being homophobic, I can imagine him being transphobic when he was younger.

BUT I only think that because the primary school biology textbook was his bible when he was five.

As soon as he had access to a more “advanced” biology book, he learnt his mistakes.

Had a deep understanding of gender before his brother understood the differences between them as a result of this.

4 - Mikey

Thinks LGBT+ people are awesome, however his only exposure to gay people is rupaul drag race so his views on them are stereotypical.

He would probably be taken aback if you introduced him to a gay man who isn’t flamboyant, but he would adjust after a bit.

He would definitely say “You don’t look gay” though.

Aside from April, he would be the most angry when hearing homophobic/transphobic comments.

3 - Leo

The middle point between homophobic and not homophobic for the group (even though she's seconds lmao, the group is just not really homophobic).

I headcanon her as a trans lesbian so any homophobic/transphobic thoughts she would have are a mixture of her sheltered life and internalised issues.

Nothing extreme though, but her mind would get hung up on two girls holding hands on the street for multiple days.

She would also go through the 5 stages of grief for every unprompted homophobic thought she gets.

Everyone helps her overcome this, especially after she discovers herself and comes out.

2 - Raph

I am sorry, but he would probably use homophobic language before meeting April.

However, that’s due to him not understanding what he was saying. He probably thought gay was a synonym for stupid.

Once he understands who LGBT+ people are and what they face (AKA being scolded by April), he would probably feel really bad about it.

He wouldn’t really apologise for it verbally, but he would 100% kill a homophobe after that so everyone understands he’s changed.

Mikey would then make fun of him for being homophobic which would get him really mad. It's revenge for Raph calling him gay to insult him and brushing his genuine anger off.

1 - Casey

I am not sorry, this dude was definitely homophobic before meeting the Turtles + April. Like, actually homophobic.

His dad is homophobic so it comes from that.

He called Donnie the f-slur behind his back to the rest of the group. To put it lightly, they were not impressed.

The first moment where he questions his behaviour is when April rips him to shreds over it, but it’s not until Raph pulls him aside to express disappointment that he realises how bad his behaviour is.

Probably goes MIA for a couple of days undergoing serious reflection on his life and beliefs. He then comes back to apologise for his behaviour.

He takes some time to truly overcome his bigotry, but he gets there eventually. Like Raph, he'll kill a homophobe after the ordeal.
