This honestly made me tear up, a 17 year old engene named zika has passed away in gaza. this breaks my heart deeply. she was a fan just like us with dreams to one day see the boys. please try your best to spread her letter so it can possibly reach the boys!

there's something so intimate about that siren scene in the sea of monsters. percy watching annabeth uses every ounce of her strength to swim towards her father, luke, and athena. percy learning that annabeth's deepest desire at this moment is to establish permanence with the people she wishes never abandoned her. percy validating and empathizing with that desire, but knowing it's a lost cause. percy essentially stepping in to ground annabeth back to reality and, quite literally, providing a bubble of protection around them both. and then percy pausing the quest to hold annabeth as she lets out years of pain through heart-wrenching sobs into his chest.

Severus Snape, perhaps the only man in the wizarding world more hated than Voldemort, alone amongst people who will all happily flay him alive if his cover is blown, really had to keep a straight face and Occlumens up while Charity Burbage begged him for help as her last hope and called him a "friend" or else Harry Potter would die and the world would collapse into tyranny and death.

No one, not a single character in this story, not even poor Charity, was as absolutely isolated as Severus.
