i just need to get this off my chest

SPOILERS BELOW IN CASE YOU ACCIDENTALLY CLICKED THE POST

specifically the ending where you choose davrin to lead the distraction group instead of harding which leads to him dying

when you go to davrin's room afterwards you get this line

which kind of makes you think he might be still alive right?

this is the most evil thing bioware did to me bc i sat through the full credits expecting a scene where blighted but very much alive davrin shows up in the end but!!! nothing!!! why include this line if ur not gonna bring him back!!!

i mean it makes sense to lose people in a fight but there was no body and barely anyone mentions him before the final battle so it's like they didn't give us any closure

it's just. you either fully commit to killing one of the main characters and make the player feel the pain of the sacrifice or you let them know how their companion survived

idk i just don't think what happens to davrin should be open to interpretation it's not satisfying and doesn't do justice to his character

Just watched it and I NEED TO YAPPP

The first thing I noticed when watching this episode was how there was so many parallels from season 1. Now Jinx and Silco/their relationship with thier siblings were already sort of parallels to each other in season one but this continues in season two. We see this when jinx meets the lil guy. It kind of makes you think about how jinx has become like Silco. Another comparison I’ve been seeing a lot is the comparison of the scene where Caitlyn hits VI for stopping her from taking the shot to the scene in season 1 where Vi hits powder. Anyways now that we got that out of the way CAITVI KISS????? CAITVI BREAKUP??? DOOMED YURI??? ALSO WHY IS VIKTOR JESUS?? Viktor in the cloak with the healing powers highly resembles the figure we saw in season one who healed Jayce as a child. This is kind of perfect because in a way Viktor healed Jayce. In season 1 he stops him from self deleting and helps him study magic and develop hextech. on another note “it was affection that kept us together” ASFUDGUIUIGT

the more i think about season 4 klaus the more upset i get

no, you do not have to be on drugs to be flamboyant and energetic, and i don't like that they're implying otherwise

klaus' character was never because of the drugs, his setbacks and difficulties in life were!! it made it harder for him to be himself!!

and yes ofc overcoming addiction is HARD and i'm not expecting him to be the same as he was before, but they made him seem so.. pathetic..? for trying to be sober? if that makes sense?

his struggle with germophobia pissed me off because it felt like one big joke instead of an actual thing he was having a hard time with

and it's almost like they took away his queerness with the drugs? they took it away in general but his sexuality and gender identities were just completely gone until he relapsed, so he was allowed one dick joke to solidify the "return to his old self"

you don't have to give up yourself in order to overcome an addiction. an addiction does not define you, it's a struggle you overcome in order to be the best version of you. i hate this show for doing this to klaus and telling the audience that your addictions make you 'funnier' or that trying to overcome an addiction is just 'a joke.'

i do find it incredibly funny that in season 4 ben noticeably eyes the marigold bottle, takes the marigold bottle, disappears with said marigold bottle and then reappears with a round of glowing(!!!) drinks, yet the writers still decided that it wasnt obvious enough to us as the audience, and then made sure to verbally tell us that ben spiked the drinks with marigold. then they turn to klaus wondering why he is still normal, and then feel like they have to again verbally explain to us "ohhh you're sober!! thats why!!" when it was so clearly obvious.

but then they rushed everything else and left fifty thousand plotholes behind...

i really hope we see buck and tommy figure out they wanna move in with each other.

i also really hope that tommy is the one who suggests it. i know 9-1-1 likes to be dramatic but, im setting the scene.

buck is cooking breakfast for tommy before his shift and tommy walks into the kitchen - his kitchen - and he stares at the back of buck and how he moves so swiftly in tommy’s kitchen, like he’s in his home.

buck feels a presence and he’s like “morning, how long have you been standing there?” and tommy moves closer - breath picking up the pace - he wants to be closer to buck when he says this, “i want you to move in with me.” buck is stunned, usually he’s the one jumping gun and not the other way around.

this is tommy though - so ever elegant in his communication and his presence so comforting he can bask in it forever - tommy is so patient with him and always sets the pace it kind of takes him by surprise, “why?” he asks quietly. not in a demanding way but more of a, “you wanna move in with me? really?”

tommy blushes then and he looks down “well, i want you here. you look so at home” - he caves and walks closer, hands on either side of the counter caging buck in, food long forgotten - “i want to come downstairs and see you here in my kitchen, making food for the both of us, everyday. i want to come home to you after a long day of working and fighting fires and just be with you, evan.”

buck exhales, placing his hands on tommy’s shoulders near the expanse of his chest. “tommy i- i yeah id love that.”

“yeah? that’s okay?” tommy - oh sweet tommy - always so unsure if bucks actually okay with something he needs to check once or twice more. it’s the first leap he’s taken in the relationship since their first kiss.

then they kiss and make love 😔

but anyways yeah that’s how i envision it 😍 knowing damn well 9-1-1 will either make it sooo much more dramatic (but im hoping for more domestic!!!)

Episode 2 - Dealing with his mum who is not apologetic about abandoning them. He's furious and upset that she's been given power of attorney for his dad

Episode 3 - Nearly killed by Homelander, facing his mum and trying to understand why she left them

Episode 4 - Obtaining Compound V for his dad, getting injured and ruthlessly killing someone in the process

Episode 5 - His mum goes behind his back and gives his dad the Compound V, which results in innocent lives being lost. Hughie had to euthanise his own father

Episode 6 - On the same day as the funeral, he gets molested by Ashley and almost raped by Tek Knight. He had an emotional breakdown at the end after he bottled everything up

Episode 7 - Gets attacked by a shapeshifter, tries and fails to convince Neuman to change her mind, deceived into having sex with the shapeshifter.
