(🎮) → When Shigaraki first started taking care of his little he was very hesitant. Unable to bring himself to even lay a finger on them, even if he was wearing gloves. He was just to scared that he would hurt the little one.

(🎮) → But after some time passes, he ends up become a bit more physically affectionate. It’s always the small things, like holding their hand as they walk across the street, cuddling while napping, little hugs, and sometimes lay/sitting in his lap while he plays video games.

(🎮) → His favorite activity to do with his little when they’re two little for video games is watching cartoons/movies. It’s a peaceful activity for him since he’s very low energy. Shigaraki also uses this as a way to calm his little down so that way he can easily get them to sleep.

(🎮) → Another activity that Shigaraki likes to do with his little is go for a walk. He likes to ask them questions about things they can see, like the names of animals. It’s his excuse to praise and validate them for being so smart.

(🎮) → His favorite part of bedtime is reading a bedtime story. He lets his little pick out what book he should read. Sitting next to them, snuggling next to them, keeping his voice soft as he reads. And once they have fallen asleep he closes the book and kisses their forehead before putting the book away, and falling asleep next to them.

Rust Compiler Performance Triage

A week dominated by one large improvement and one large regression where luckily the improvement had a larger impact. The regression seems to have been caused by a newly introduced lint that might have performance issues. The improvement was in building rustc with protected visibility which reduces the number of dynamic relocations needed leading to some nice performance gains. Across a large swath of the perf suit, the compiler is on average 1% faster after this week compared to last week.

My Headcannons, so please enjoy

🔎Shuichi Kirigiri (Saihara)(FTM - He/Him)🕵️‍♂️

Parents: Kyoko Kirigiri + Celestia Ludenberg

Siblings: Kokichi, Mikan and Kotoko

Best Friends: Kokichi, Rantaro, Kaito, Maki

A very shy individual, and would rather read detective books in the library

An inspiring detective because of Kyoko, and would follow her advice, viewing her as a role model

A very observation boy, he pays attention to every detail in a location or a person

Got into Dangonronpa due to the mystery aspect but wasn't aware of Kyoko and Celeste's involvement

Would get bullied often, which resulted in low self esteem

Dangonronpa made him go down an unfortunate spiral, which made him obsessed with it to escape his own reality

🗡️Maki Kuzuruyu(Harukawa)(FTM)(He/Him)❣️

Parents: Fuyuhiko Kuzuruyu + Peko Pekoyama

Sibling: Ryoma

Best Friends: Shuichi, Katio

Works part time as a caregiver, despite his appearance

Blunt but caring

Was often stayed away from due to his mob background, which can make him very lonely

Has a affection for stuff animals and toys, it gives him comfort

Not an assassin level fighter but is a martial artist, normally does self defense

Owns a cat he named Snowball

Surprisingly, Maki has a fear of blood, which makes him incredibly dizzy and sick

Was never a fan of Dangonronpa, but watches it with Shuichi.

Entered Dangonronpa accidentally after trying to get Shuichi out

An inspiring magician, often doing it in talent shows

Has a wand collection, starting with a small stick she found in the backyard

As a young fae, she started to speak like Gundham, which in turn worried Sonia

Fae has many of spellbooks

Would spend her time reading fairytales rather than studying

She wasn't into Dangonronpa, it made her sick for her stomach when she watched one episode

But it got popular and thought it could help with her magician talent

Often be dismissive to other people other than family and friends

Major PTSD from the 52nd killing game that he has nightmares and would rather stay up at night

Despite that, he does keep in touch with old friends from 52nd

Knows Nagito favors him(it wasn't much of a secret)

Knows how to handle Monaca at her worse

Gets carsick and seasick easily

Has major survivors guilt from his killing games, especially finding out who some of the participants are

Only learned piano because of Byakuya

Diagnosed depression but keeps it a secret from friends

Is a major Makoto but has her Byakuya moments (as Makoto calls them)

Pessimistic

Often protective of her younger brother

Often watched Dangonronpa, but not obsessed

Became obsessed when her depression hit

Joined for personal reasons which she never admitted

She also hates spider, they just freak her out

Never understood Dangonronpa but watched it with Kaede if asked

Followed Kaede to Dangonronpa auditions and found herself kidnapped and stuck

Got into Dangonronpa for mystery and would often guess who kills or who dies, which is why they won a lot of bets

One of the smartest of her classes, mainly due to Taka's teachings

Has to keep Kaito out of trouble

Would enjoy a nap under the sun

Never got into Dangonronpa and actively refused to

Unfortunately, Kaito was into it and she had to drive him to the auditions and was kidnapped for her bad words of the company

Hates speaking, would prefer sign language than actual words, with Rantaro and Miu translating

Has diagnosed anxiety and has pills for it

Has a great relationship with their family members

Can be often seen in the library, alone and studying

Her introduction to Dangonronpa was mediocre, just another television show in a mess of television shows

Joined for the second time but barely remembers why. He gains headache if he tried

Learned Sign Language for her mom, who is hard of hearing and her best friend who refuses to speak

Lets Jataro paint her new inventions at times

Has her own lab(her treehouse) to make new inventions every day

Somehow not tired all the time

Is the President of the Robotics Club

Never got into Dangonronpa

Found out about the Dangonronpa Contest from Rantaro and promised to go with it

🐞Gonta Nevermind (Gokuhara)(They/Them)🐝

Is closest to Gundham with their love for animals and by extension, insects

Can be mistaken for a innocent person, but that's not the case

Always have a notebook of each insect they discovered

Doesn't remember names so they does come up with names based on insects

Always wears sandals, something that fits them

Dangonronpa is not something they do not watch and never will

Had no choice but join Korekiyo and Himiko to the Dangonronpa Contest, mainly as a guide or protector

Has complete disdain for Kaito and makes it clear

Found out about Dangonronpa from Shuichi and has no opinion until he found out about Shuichi's..... idea

Everyone knows to stay away from him and he's somehow proud of it

Boasted about being incredibly popular, without much of a consequence

Some of his reputation was ruined by Kokichi

Does have a good side to him but it's rare to find

Is still massively into space and astrology

Gets lectured by Tenko often

Got into Dangonronpa when it first aired their new season and got into it ever since

Went into the Dangonronpa Contest for massive popularity points

Has a lung disease that made her frail, which leads to coughing fits

Part of Drama Club as a designer

Got into fashion because of Junko Enoshima

Adores her younger brother and refused to let her see her sick. Always tried to give him a great childhood

Dabbled in dancing for a bit

Knows self defense

Mukuro made sure that Tsumugi never saw Dangonronpa and actively banned it, which Tsumugi never minded but it did get worse when she met Junko during a mall trip

Was forced to two killing games, especially when Junko threatened her family. The Mastermind role tested her integrity and love for story

! Headcanons below !

(🎙️) → Hizashi was over the moon when his little asked to be his caregiver. He was so excited to take care and play with them. He spent all day and night researching about age regression so he would be prepared.

(🎙️) → He definitely bought that magic/echo mic toy. And other karaoke toys too! He’d be their adoring audience as they pretend to be preform at a big concert.

(🎙️) → He takes them to his recording booth where he host his radio shows. Hizashi lets them be a co host on many episodes, sometimes even getting to choose the some of the songs. It’s always a good time when he brings them on.

(🎙️) → Hizashi takes babbling very seriously. He has full blown conversations with his little. All the while they just babbling nonsense and he acts like he understands.

(🎙️) → Likes playing pretend dramatically, it’s never a boring time with him. He embodies his role perfectly. He’s playing a dragon? He stomps and roars all around the room, knocking down block towers and the little pillow fort they made together. (Dw, he helps them put them back together :]!)

(🎙️) → Takes his regressor out on little adventures and with him to do errands. And whenever the weather gets a little colder he gives them his jacket to wear.

(🎙️) → Words of affirmation and praise is his love language. Even the smallest acts are praised by him. No matter what they do he will always be proud of them!

How Magic Works In Tathylia Chronicles

Alright, so I've been thinking about Tathylia Chronicles' magic system and lore, and I've finally decided to work on it and post it somewhere fully.

🕯Origins and Harnessing 🕯

Magic was created long ago when spirits guided the world as much as the gods did. Once they left, it was significantly harder to harness and use magic.

Nowadays, in order to use magic, you need to have some sort of magic potential inside you. About 35% of the population of the world can use magic to some degree.

Keyword being can. There are many who don't have the resources to learn magic or don't want to learn magic or don't even know they can use magic.

Either way, in order to actually use magic, you need some sort of magic conduit or focus.

This type of conduit is usually a tome or a staff, our next topic

🔮🪄📚Tomes,Staves, and Enchanted Items📚🪄🔮

In order to use magic, most spellcasters have to channel their magic into magic tomes and staves, along with any other enchanted weapon or item.

Tomes and spellbooks are created by magic who fill pages of a book with instructions, mystical runes, and information about the spell, bound by magic (and regular book bindings.) The user must study a magic tome in order to weave its magical contents around them.

Staves are made with a rod, usually made with metal or wood. Then, a magic crystal is placed on it, along with decorations. Another way is to just infuse the rod with magic. Using a magic staff is as simple as focusing magical energy into the staff and letting it expell that energy.

Enchanted items or weapons all have magic inside of them, either because they are enchanted, blessed, cursed, or otherwise infused with magic. It's also as simple as energy in magic out.

One thing you need to know is that the magic in these tomes is somewhat finite. Once a tome runs out of magic, you can still cast magic out of it, but it will not be nearly as potent, usually being useless for combat. Same goes for staves and enchanted items. After this, they usually get used for training and teaching, allowing budding mages to safely practice spells.

Druidic Magic, also called Spirit or Nature Magic, is magic gained by studying and harnessing the power of the spirits that still live in the world. Practitioners are guided by the wind, water, and earth of the world, and use their guidance to expel magic.

Druidic Magic bests Holy Magic, but is withers by Arcane Magic

Arcane Magic, also known as Raw or Anima Magic, is magic derives from the study of nature.
