Carmy x Glasses reader dump incoming!!! 🧂

HIEEE OKAY YEAH I'm really liking the glasses cleaning but let's take it one step at a time...

I think it starts with you asking him if he can clean your glasses with his shirt. We've all been there--we're wearing the wrong shirt with the wrong material, and all it does is smudge around the grease on the lenses.

"How d'you even see in these?" He mutters, holding your glasses up to the light. It's speckled and streaked with oils. If it was anyone else, you'd be rolling his eyes, but he's so genuinely concerned that it makes you smile.

"They've been worse," you answer honestly. He just shakes his head, and you laugh. He fogs up the glass with his breath before rubbing it with the end of his t-shirt. After a minute, he looks up at you with an expression you can't place. "What's wrong?"

"My...shirt's too dirty to clean this," he confesses in distress, and it makes you burst into laughter. The intensity fades from his face, and he smiles, just as amused.

That's how the two of you end up in the kitchen. He's gently rubbing the pads of his fingers across you glasses with dish soap and cold water. It'll get the dirt and oils off the best, he says.

"I really didn't mean to make you do all this," you say. You're standing next to him at the sink. Your vision's pretty blurry, but you can still follow what he's doing.

"You didn't make me do anything." He turns off the faucet and grabs a clean towel to dry it off. Just as you think he's about to give it back to you, he stops and stares.

"Is there something on my face?"

"No. I was just thinking you're really pretty. But..." He tenderly slips your glasses back onto your face. "I really like getting to see you like this, too," he says, and his affectionate smile is in full clarity.

"Holy shit, this is so clean," you blurt out in surprise.

"Isn't that better?" He tilts his head to the side, nudges your glasses with his index finger. "Pretty."

"You're pretty," you object, your face warming, and his smile just gets even bigger.

personally i think all the people who kept reporting accounts to PB are petty and [insert your insult of choice]. real toddler behavior like "wah wahh nobody is allowed to look at my toys wah wahh"

if PB wouldnt keep fumbling the ball the way they are at every opportunity, people wouldnt have had the need to leak payed content. the state the game is in rn isnt worth paying a dime for. constant bugs, constant crashes, systems that make no sense, resources that are unobtainable.

also its been months since theyve added a new chapter. like dont get me wrong, the events are fun but they shouldnt be the only driving force of the game. PB arent giving players an incentive to stay invested, when the only thing they are offering is Only Payed Content.

this whole thing is quite frankly ridiculous

i totally agree with you about everything. it saddens me that fans of whb are reporting the accounts to the company, knowing how expensive the game can be to some players. the prices for certain resources in the game are ridiculous—even to me, who almost paid for access to characters or stories. if pb were to lower the prices i wouldn’t have a problem with the situation but ik most of the fandom don’t have or want to spend that amount of money for just ONE character, which is why the recent announcement just doesnt make sense to me. im sure pr33tybusy is a good company, but being worried about “what causes innocent players harm” is clear to me that they don’t care about the main problem of the game.

so, the ocs I wanted to submit we made when we were around ~9? I wanna say? It was way before we even knew what systems were but they feel very plural to us now!

so the world these two were in was very fantasy, and they had this thing called “other sides” which were kinda alternate, more powerful versions of you. think dragon ball z super sayians. EXCEPT. these “other sides” would, in practice, end up being very different from those they were based on!

take the main OC, Evelyn. she had this other side called “Ultra Power Evelyn” (very creative, I know.) but the name was shortened to Ultra. she looked very different from Evelyn, had an entirely different personality, and varying opinions on the same people, but they both shared Evelyn��s body!

also, take Evelyn’s brother, Ollie! His other side was Lizy, who was an entirely different gender, mental age, had a different personality, opinions, and appearance!!

and it’s implied that both of these OCs had trauma, and couldn’t reminder what their other sides did when they were in control!!!

Fuck I just think he’s get all blushy about it, idly adjust the collar of his shirt, fiddle with his silver chain (THAT DAMNED CHAIN).

“Thanks, baby,” is all I think he’d be able to really articulate. Soft spoken, eyes downcast, but also looking back at your warm expression. He’s too embarrassed to say anything else, you can tell.
