Hi! Are headcanons still open? What about general physical contact with Tommy?

From what I've gathered, Tommy craves touch but everyone around him is too scared to initiate contact.

Be it slowly stripteasing Grace, or running his hands down May's back or even when he's with Charlie (season 3) or his brothers. Tommy shows affection through touch.

He's so touch starved that he doesn't mind paying for it (seen in his visits to prostitutes)

Tommy and your relationship developing through touch would involve....

In the beginning, a few accidental grazes from him would be enough to make your heart race.

Grazing your fingers while passing you the pen, placing a comforting hand on your back for moral support, resting his hands on your shoulder as he watches you type on the typewriter; things that lead to you a minor heart attack every time Tommy is in vicinity.

One time after a close brush with danger, he pulled your unsettled self close and let you find rest in his steady self.

First kiss - His callous thumb traced the bottom of your lip before he leaned in to press a warm kiss, as his hands came to rest on your cheeks.

Tommy's gentle touch even makes your bad days bearable, for he holds you close, your head resting against his chest and your body engulfed in his muscular arms, the expensive duvet forming a cocoon around you both.

When he's home after a long business trip, the first thing he does is wrap you close in a tight embrace, taking in your scent and murmuring sweet nothings before pressing a warm kiss on your forehead.

But every once in a while, its Tommy's strong shoulders which seek comfort, and he doesn't hesitate to reach for you. Whether it's in innocent embraces and kisses, or passionate lovemaking in the middle of the night, Tommy doesn't hold back in revelling in your softness and love for him, for that is one of the very few things which keeps him sane.

Cambodia is calling on the UK government to help it recover antiquities it says were stolen from its temples.

The country’s culture minister says the Victoria & Albert and British Museums both have looted objects.

The museums said they were transparent about items’ origins.

The V&A welcomed “constructive dialogue”. The British Museum said it would consider requests “carefully and respectfully”.

In a letter to her British counterpart Nadine Dorries, Cambodian culture minister, Phoeurng Sackona, says many important cultural treasures were stolen from sacred temples and “wrongfully ended up” in warehouses and institutions - including the two London museums.

The Cambodians - who believe ancient statues hold the souls of their ancestors - have pinpointed that many of the stolen works passed through the hands of a rogue British art dealer, Douglas Latchford, who died in 2020.  

The focus on the UK marks the latest phase in the Cambodians’ campaign to recover the country’s most precious carvings and statues that were pillaged and then sold on to Western museums and private collectors.

The Cambodian Ministry of Culture’s chief legal counsel and the head of its investigative team, Brad Gordon, told the BBC that the trade in these items could be considered a war crime. The Cambodian minister’s letter reminded the UK that both countries were party to the Hague Convention, which aims to protect cultural property during armed conflicts.

The murderous Khmer Rouge regime held power from 1975 to 1979, when it is thought to have killed more than two million of its own people, and the group controlled large portions of the country until the late 1990s. Much of the looting took place over this three-decade period of civil war and strife.

“This was a time of conflict. The whole world knew it,” Brad Gordon says. “Large museums like the British Museum or the V&A, they shouldn’t have accepted these pieces.��

He adds: “We would say, for the majority of pieces, there is no export licence, there is no permit. So these museums and these individuals are in receipt of stolen property and the stolen property needs to come back.”

the thing is. if sam was supposed to be the brother that got out of the life, why did they give him no dreams outside of hunting? like okay, let’s say you count him going to law school to become a lawyer as one. so he had a dream fifteen years ago that he has expressed no interest in since. the only non-hunting jobs we’ve seen him in since the show started are angel-assigned generic IT guy for an episode (he smashes his phone and desk with a crowbar) and kind of a motel repairman in the most forced story line ever. sam’s only dreams of normal life are nebulous ideas that he never actually pursues when he has the ability. what about dean? he’s been a bar owner. mechanic. he’s talked so many times about things he’d like to be if he wasn’t a hunter! even when the angels forced him into the role of upper management, he was excelling in his position because he genuinely enjoyed it! i bet you anything you could find at least one textual example per season of dean fantasizing about what life would be like if he wasn’t trapped as a hunter. don’t even make me think about the job application on his desk in the finale or i will start crying!
