Kaede simply laughed at she teased the poor biker, followed by an "innocent" wink when he pouts like that. Teasing him was always just too funny, she truly couldn't help herself, sometimes! The nod she gives when he also agrees on peeking at others' food to get an idea on how good the food looks aside, now it was Kaede's turn to become flustered by complete accident by the waitress! So she can imagine how red the already easily flustered biker is, if she's sputtering like that, too.
Once the bubbly waitress eventually left after getting Mondo's order and taking their menus, Kaede still hid most of her face behind her menu, but at least lowered it enough so that her eyes were visible, as she stares at the biker. "H-Heh heh heh... well that sure was something! But hey, at least we c-can take advantage of that discount, right? H-Hee hee..... also, y... yeah, sure!! G-Go ahead.. I don't mind..."
And if Mondo was being serious and actually does get up and go outside for a second, or even if he doesn't, Kaede will bury her face in the menu and softly whine in it! ("Aaaghh, what's up with me?! Getting all embarrassed over one word!! We're a guy and a girl sitting at this super cute restaurant that just screams "date spot", o-of course she'll think we're a couple....!!!")
"Sh-shut it! I'm only gettin' 'em 'cause everything else on the menu ain't any less cutesy!" Mondo pouts as while he desperately tries to keep his face from becoming any more red, the poor biker knowing full well that she's teasing him, basking in his 'suffering'!
"Hmph... Guess that's one way of orderin'. It's like a sneak peek of the food to see if it really is good without gettin' it yourself..." His glancing around is halted only when their server comes to take their order, the biker feeling himself instantly tense up at the innocent comment!
His eyes are as wide as saucers and just for the most brief of moments does he glance back at the girl who seems to be just as startled as he is! He knows he can't scream, he's been training himself to not let himself get that carried away again, especially since it's clearly just an innocuous comment, but it's so hard for him to keep his already strained composure.
He's keeping his gaze firmly fixed onto the table as he listens to Kaede order, never having heard her sound so panicky before. He definitely can't blame her, his own voice incredibly strained as he somehow manages to keep it at an indoor level.
"M... Maltese Waffle," he manages to choke out, his face as red as a beet, "Marochino with a la... l-latte art of a Siberian Husky p-puppy..."
Mondo doesn't say a word as their server happily takes their orders as well as their menus, the poor biker dying inside as all he can do for a solid minute is stare down at the pastel pink table in front of him.
"......... Would you mind if I went outside for a minute to scream?"
