Gruff's Rocking Birthday Tribute 2024

Belated Happy Birthday to Gruff! 🥳🐐🎂🎉

Gruff is my most favorite villager from the Animal Crossing franchise, since I started playing my first Animal Crossing game. Gruff is a sophisticated musician and artist who loves rock music and dark, edgy aesthetic. So the best way to show my love and appreciation for him is to feature him performing in a rock concert.

I know Gruff's birthday was last August 29, which means I'm 2 weeks late to post this. The animation was put on hold several times due to work, the ongoing renovation of our home, errands needed to be done and problems piled up along the way that needed to be resolved. But despite the hindrances, I'm glad I was able to finish this animation, it's better than not having it done at all.

I hope you enjoy this short music video! Storyboard, rigging, roughs, animation and effects done by yours truly. It's not as grand as how I wanted it to be but still, I'm very happy with the result and enjoyed the process.

Inside Job: The Threat of a Traitor in Eden College

It's been a while since the Hostage Crisis Arc,everyone there seems to have forgotten it.However probably a new threat might endanger students of Eden College. So please let's see it :

How did Squire know the names of the kids,and the social position of the a’,b’..Father? The panels with the stunned kids speaks so.

So the explanation is the Red Circus had an insider, who had sold to them the info about Eden’s activities that day,and the names of the children and their families standing in Ostania’s government.

"I get what you say. But how can this person remaine so dangerous?",you'll ask me the question.

It poses a significant threat for several reasons:

Access to Sensitive Information: The inside man likely has access to sensitive information within the school, including details about the social standing and backgrounds of the hostages. This information can be exploited by the Red Circus for their nefarious purposes, such as targeting specific individuals for ransom or leverage.

Betrayal of Trust: It represents a betrayal of trust within Eden. This individual may have been trusted with confidential information and privileged access, making the betrayal all the more damaging and dangerous.

Continued Espionage: The betrayal may not be limited to the hostage crisis alone. It may continue to provide information to external threats, compromising the school's security and putting its members at risk in future operations.

Ability to Manipulate Events: With insider knowledge, the person has the ability to manipulate events and outcomes to serve their own agenda or that of their allies. This can include feeding misinformation, sabotaging rescue efforts, or orchestrating further crises for their own gain.

Difficulty in Detection: The traitor's ability to remain hidden within the school poses a challenge for identifying and neutralizing the threat. Their knowledge(of internal operations and security measures)may allow them to evade detection and continue their espionage undetected.

It's concerning that this possibility hasn't been thoroughly investigated, as the traitor's actions could have dire consequences if left unchecked.

Overall, the presence of a deadly traitor, within the Eden, represents a significant security breach, and poses a continuing threat to the safety and stability of Eden and its faculty members. Identifying and apprehending the traitor is crucial for mitigating the danger they pose and preventing further harm to those involved.

How come Anya hasn't read the mind of this traitor ?

Because her focus on her goals,and integration into the social and academic life at Eden College, may indeed consume much of her attention and energy. As a result, she may not have had the opportunity to consider the possibility of a traitor within the school, or to actively seek out their presence through random telepathic scans.

Additionally, the traitor may be adept at blending in with the student body or faculty, making it difficult for Anya to identify him/her among the many individuals at Eden College. Without any overt signs of suspicion or unusual behavior, the traitor could remain unnoticed and undetected, even by the mind reader Anya.

As she continues to navigate the challenges of her life at Eden College and works towards her goals, she may eventually uncover clues or circumstances that lead her to suspect the presence of a traitor. Until then, the traitor's identity and motivations remain shrouded in mystery, adding to the intrigue and suspense of the story.

BGM: Billie Eilish - Getting Older

今日、晴れて48歳になった。休みだったので朝、総合病院に行く。そして先生に会い、自分の精神状態について話す。この「ドクターとの信頼関係をいかにして結ぶか」という問題についても自分は苦労してきたことを思い出す。かつて、ぼくは先生に対して過大に期待していたフシがあったとも思う。「とにかくドカンと薬を出してくれ、そしてぼくを救ってくれ」というように。その一方で「どうせどんなにこちらが悩みを言っても、あなたは『ハイハイ』と『仕事』で処理するんでしょ」「1度も生活費に困ったことなんてないんでしょ。医者はサラリーもいいだろうし」なんてことを心のどこかで（いや、「心のド真ん中」で）考えていたとも思う。そう思うと実に自分はひねた、いやらしい患者だったなと思ってしまう。薬を出すにせよアドバイス（効く言葉）を出すにせよ、医師ができるのは患者をサポートすることがメインだ。そこから先、つまり「人生を実際に生��る」のは患者の役目なのだ。そう思うと過去に甘ったれていた自分���思い出す。実に汗顔の至りだ。薬をもらった後、LINEなどでお祝いのメッセージをたくさんいただく。涙がこぼれそうになった。綾波レイみたいだ。こんな時どんな顔をしたらいいのかわから���い……。

マイルス・デイヴィス『クールの誕生』を聴きながら（分かる人だけこのチョイスというかタイトルにニヤッとして下さい）、今日の読書は磯野真穂・宮野真生子『急に具合が悪くなる』を読んだ。この本はガンで闘病を続けた哲学者・宮野とその彼女に真摯に答える人類学者の磯野の往復書簡で、実に読ませる1冊だった。ガンに侵されるというのはもちろん、「不運」な出来事である。だが、宮野はその運命を「不幸」とは思っていないと記している。これは実に毅然とした、「闘争」の「宣言」ではないかと思った。「不運」な出来事は確かに誰の身にも起こりうる。ぼくの話をするなら、ぼくが発達障害者として生まれてきたことも多分に「不運」な出来事であるだろう。だが、それを「不幸」な出来事として位置づけるかどうかはぼくが決められること、ぼくの解釈や考え方に由来／依存することである……と書くとなんだか自己啓発／セルフヘルプの書物が教えるポジティブ・シンキングに似ているかもしれない。確かにこの本はそうしたポジティブ・シンキングに導いてくれる本だが、同時に「コクのある」深みをも備えていると思った。

それはどうしてなのか考えるのだけれど……まだ1度だけ読んだきりなので見つからない。この本はぼくが一生かけて読み込むべき本ではないかと思う。だけど、この本から学んだのは確率的に「不運」に陥ることがあるとしてもぼくは（村上春樹的な命題／テーマになるけれど）、そこから何かを学ぶことはいつだって可能だということだ。そして、そうして学んだことを手がかりに言葉を紡ぐことも確たる軌跡／ラインを描いて生きることだって可能だということも。現在では発達障害者の割合は10人に1人くらいらしいけれど、そうしたことがわかっても「じゃ、何でよりによってこの『ぼく』がそう生まれたんだ？」という疑問・苦悩は消えやしない。かつてのぼくならそうした「不運」を嘆き、そこから「ぼくは発達障害者としてこの生を絶望とともに生きるしかないのだ」といじけて、自ら「不幸」に陥っていたと思う。この本でも指摘されているけれど、起きた出来事を消化する際にそうしていじけてしまうことが不幸の始まりなのだろうと思う。でも、そうしていじけずに前を���いて歩くのもしんどい。どうしたらいいのだろうか。これもぼくにとって「永遠のテーマ」になりそうだ。

いつもぼくはこの日記で「BGM（つまり『今日の1曲』）」を思いつくのに苦労しているのだけど、今日はふとビリー・アイリッシュを聴いてみたくなってこの曲「Getting Older」にたどり着いた。この曲の中でビリーは辛辣に、トラウマ的な過去を語りすぎることの愚を撃っている。「And maybe that's the reason every sentence sounds rehearsed（多分それが原因ね、何もかもがまるでリハーサルみたいなの）」。つまり、語れば語るほど「トラウマ語り」は洗練されていき本番前の予行演習になり、したがって嘘くささを増していくということだ。もちろん、それは一方では致し方ないところもある。語り続けることがそうして「リハーサル的」になりその人だけの力強い「ライフストーリー」「自叙伝」を形成することになるのなら、明らかな嘘が紛れ込まない限りにおいて「いいこと」「なすべきこと」とさえ言えるのかもしれない。だが、このビリーの辛辣な視点、つまり「求められるからそれに応じて嘘をついてしまう」「自分の嘘に慣れてしまいよりいっそう話を盛ってしまう」「自分のトラウマ語りが『芸』になってしまう」ことへの危惧の意識は心のどこかで（いや、これも「心のド真ん中」で？）保っておきたいと思った。ビリーのこの曲の歌詞と対訳はこちらのブログが参考になる。

The Phantom Menace Among Eden's Ranks,in Spy x Family

My tumblr readers, in the intricate web of espionage, secrets, and hidden agendas that define Spy x Family, there are countless threads to follow. But one that has been woven into the background, subtly influencing events, is the presence of a potential traitor within Eden Academy. This figure, whose identity remains unknown, seems to have played a role in both the case of the expelled delinquent,known as 'Mr Pee Pants",the rampage of Campus animals, and the hijacked buses incident orchestrated by the Red Circus. Could this traitor be more versatile and dangerous than anyone suspects? Let’s delve into the evidence.

The Case of "Mr Pee Pants".

In Chapter 61 teacher, and a member of Eden Academy's disciplinary committee, Donna Schlag is introduced. There to the students of Cecile hall(where Anya,Becky attend)recounts the tale of "Mr. Pee Pants," an honor student,who foolishly wiped his wet hands on his pants, eventually gets humiliated for it. Since then he's a delinquent, afterwards getting expelled from Eden and joining an antigovernment team, where he's later caught by the Secret Police.

My readers,please focus on,the last panel, a subtle oddity of "Mr. Pee Pants".

Typically the School would've asked from him the attire back."Mr Pee Pants" still kept an Eden Cape! See how expensive this Eden cape is? Who enabled him to keep it? Isn't it a subtle hint about someone(within Eden) secretely enabling forces, say Red Circus? However I guess no one will ever find it. Cause the Cape is only within the flashback.

'What could've the traitor gain by this,an Eden College cape in the hands of an extremist?', you would ask me. But there are certain gains:

a)Experimenting if he(or she?)can pull a subtle ploy,and pass entirely unseen,even by the officers of the notorious SSS.

bThe joy of sadistically smearing the prestige of Eden College.

The animals running Wild on the Family Interview

On the day of Family Interview(chapter 4) the animals of the campus zoo got loose,running wild,to hurt everyone on their rampage.

However, thankfully no one was hurt,due to the Forgers amazing skills and Elegance.

I wonder,could've the triator have had orchestrated to infuriate, the animals,release them and see how many would get crippled ? Not to forget that this foul event could destroy the College's reputation.

Hostage Crisis .The Arc Of Well-Informed Red Circus

Fast forward to the hijacked buses incident, where the Red Circus managed to execute a highly organized attack on Eden Academy students. What’s troubling is how the Red Circus knew the exact social standing of students like Becky Blackbell, whose father holds considerable power and influence. This information would have been difficult to obtain without inside help, suggesting that the same traitor who assisted "Mr. Pee Pants",and released the campus animals

may have also supplied the Red Circus with crucial details about their high-value targets.

How did Squire know the classified names of the kids,and the social position of the a’,b’..Father?

The only serious explanation is the Red Circus had an insider, who had sold to them the info about Eden’s activities that day,and the names of the children and their families standing in Ostania’s government.

Reaching to the end of crisis, Anya, using her unique abilities, was able to persuade the leader of the Red Circus to surrender, preventing any harm both to her classmates and men of the SSS special forces.

A Versatile and Hidden Threat

What makes this traitor particularly dangerous is their ability to remain hidden while pulling the strings from the shadows. They appear to be someone with intimate knowledge of Eden Academy’s inner workings and connections to external groups like the Red Circus. Their versatility lies in their ability to operate without being detected—providing just enough support to anti-government forces to sow chaos, but not so much that they draw attention to themselves.

The traitor’s actions suggest a deep understanding of both the political landscape and the personal dynamics within Eden Academy. They seem to have a hand in manipulating events from behind the scenes, influencing not just the delinquent’s descent into rebellion but also the Red Circus’s calculated attack on the academy’s students. This versatility makes them a formidable opponent—one who could continue to pose a significant threat as long as they remain undiscovered.

Conclusion: The Need for Vigilance

As we continue to follow the story of Spy x Family, it’s crucial to keep an eye on the subtle clues and connections that might reveal the identity of this elusive traitor. Their influence has already led to significant events that could have destabilized Eden Academy and endangered the lives of its students. 主役として2作目、輝いているヘプバーン。 ちょっと細すぎかなとも見えますが、 露出をしてもエロくならない、まさに妖精のような美しさ。

に対して、オッサン臭いボギー。 実際30歳の年齢差。 このカップル誕生は無理があるな～ （この映画の3年後に癌で他界）

さらにウィリアム・ホールデンのうさん臭さ。 「慕情」しか印象になく、幻滅。

男性陣のイマイチ感をすべてチャラにしてしまうヘプバーン。 スゴイ。 晩年、ユニセフ親善大使になったのは戦時中にユニセフの前身に助けられたからとはいえ、 その清廉なイメージとは裏腹に、この映画のような恋多き���涯。

この人を超える女優はなかなか思い当たりませんね。
