Riko Moriyama is having a very stressful Summer Break. This is nothing new to him, summer breaks have been stressful for years and years for him but this is a completely different kind of stressful than what he is used to. All the summers before this had been stressful for a variety of reasons. He overheats easily and his binder makes it all the more likely that he’s going to overheat even easier. He wants to go to the beach but hates having to wear a shirt the entire time and going into the water always felt like some sort of impossible Sophie’s Choice level decision. He’s never sure exactly what kind of shaved ice flavor he wants to get.

This summer is stressful because he woke up as Riko Moriyama a few months back.

A character that’s not supposed to make it to another summer based on the series he’s read front to back multiple times. So he’s a little bit stressed that his whole summer is going to be taken up by some dumbass training camp when he could be going out to the beach and having a body that finally feels right.

It's kinda destabilizing to think that as much as canon Atsushi is repulsed and terrified by the sole thought of eating someone while in the tiger state, Beast Atsushi did exactly that. Kind of reminds you how Beast Atsushi is living his personal hell

Seth can’t help but feel like the debate team would feel at home on the bus with how passionately each side is arguing. Neil is arguing that he did make it past shaking Riko’s hand and Seth doesn’t quite understand the beef that the freshman has with the Raven captain. 

“How badly did that recruitment attempt go that you’re this against the guy?” Seth asks, interrupting as he watches Allison argue that Neil spent the entire time trying to get Riko to blow up.
