Sometimes the best policy is to keep quiet and stay in your own lane; not everyone needs to know what you know, and keeping your own counsel until everything is revealed is better for you and those around you.

this morning one of the cards i pulled in my daily tarot reading was the five of wands. this got me thinking about the way i struggle to embrace competition. if i could change my mindset i think it'd do me loads of good. specifically, i want to reframe all competition as being WITH others, not against them. i am in competition AGAINST my past self, but i am in it with everyone else. this is true of all of us. life is far more akin to a marathon than a wrestling match—we are here to improve upon our own stamina, not to body slam our contemporaries.
