probably a long one too, if you can't tell by the recent long meta posts, I made a fair amount of progress in the game (or at least a lot happened in the two sessions i played 😅) wrapping up the Windor arc and kicking off fucked-up Richard time :) here's my usual breakdowns:

Asbel trying to come up with new fic ideas... except I, like Richard, can't actually imagine him ever doing this. Richard credits it to their friendship pact, but I'd credit it to the fact that Asbel actually has an iron-clad moral compass, even though he is completely oblivious to that fact. This isn't even the first time he's thought about this, he actually briefly speculated about it back when he and Richard were fleeing for Grayleside:

Asbel may be a knight wannabe but he's not Flynn, he wouldn't follow orders without question or harm a friend just because he was ordered to--- as evidenced by him standing up to Richard about the treatment of the war prisoners or postponing the invasion of Lhant in hopes of negotiation first. Even if someone he admired and respected like Malik were the one giving orders, I seriously doubt he'd arrest Richard, much less kill him or his father. But Asbel somehow doesn't realize this about himself, god bless his dumbass heart 😂

Moving on, I'm not gonna fill this space with all the screenshots since my Richard&Lambda post covered it pretty well but the fight against Cedric is fun, I like this shot in particular:

Cedric is kind of an odd antagonist though, in that we don't know very much about his motives or personality. Most of what we know about him comes from Richard who's obviously very biased against him, and a handful of NPCs. The guy himself has like 3 lines of dialogue 😅 In general he seems like your typical evil-uncle-usurper archetype a la Hamlet, he claims to be the rightful ruler of the land but I assume that's his power-hunger talking and not like he was legitimately cheated from inheriting the throne (except by the bullshit system that is the monarchy itself, wild that this 19 year old is considered the "correct" one to be in charge of a country instead of the man with decades of experience handling foreign affairs). I guess this boils down to me sympathizing with him just a little, since we don't know his whole story. also the murder was a little brutal ngl but tbf to Richard, Cedric started this 😅

Hooray, the NPCs are all traumatized! Including that little boy who is apparently wizened enough to have noted the vicious cycle of of the monarchy 😅

I did my best to transcribe the text behind the throne, I think it's "a land of wind spoke guidance of wind make the wind proudest king." Not quite sure what that means but neat!

I support this man and his gay ass lounging villain poses and his art deco throne 💜 the last name drop though OOF 😓 especially since Asbel follows it with this, no missing dialogue in between:

once again someone besides me is projecting their own thoughts onto Asbel (the first being when Hubert kicked him out of Lhant, telling him to "run away like [he] always [did]"). And Asbel responding with his paragon-ish virtue again, the trait that makes him a foil to Richard and Lambda alike and ultimately saves the day: he believes in people, and that things can get better. I love that about heroes like Asbel, hope really is a precious thing that's always worth protecting. Richard agrees with me, at least:

...He really is a manipulative bitch isn't he 😅 I guess he IS a master of coercion artes.

Honestly I could be here all day talking about this singular part of the plot but I'll wrap it up by noting that Duke Dalen is also a wee bit pompous, he's more of Richard's yes-man than Asbel and probably believes in the divine right of kings or smth 'cause he seems to think Richard can do no wrong.

As you can see by this collection, I had a bit of an NPC census 😅 I interviewed NPCs from all across Windor: Barona, Wallbridge, Grayleside, and various ports (Lhant's citizens were talking more about their troubles there w Strahta than on the state of the monarchy). A lot of the NPCs I questioned were split on recent events, some excited about seeing the young king ascend, others still reeling from the chaos, and a handful who seem a bit uneasy about his intentions. Pretty realistic I think and helpful for worldbuilding in my fic akssjhd

I have LOTS of thoughts on their first meeting--but you don't get to see that yet ;) I have a bunch of art drawn (ft. the most adorable Impulse ever) and all that's left is to write a little blorb of how it went down, which I'll probably do sometime tomorrow :D (I'm very very excited for this lol)

They do have mutual friends, since Skizz tends to know EVERYBODY, but Impulse is a bit of a recluse apart from when Gem and Scott make him get out of the house, so he hasn't met Skizz yet. Skizz happens to have never interacted directly with Gem or Scott either, but they've all heard of each other. As for mutual connections, Impulse does know Tango (who is part of Heart Foundation, obviously), and probably some others, but that's it for important connections I can come up with off the top of my head!

As for stupid levels, these guys are certified idiots, rest assured. However, this one isn't exactly a slow burn! I'd say more, but you'll see soon enough... >:)

Bdubs, I don't have any particular plans for. I'm still brainstorming a lot of the hermits n such. Etho knows everyone, tho (add him to mutual friends list ig), and in particular, the Roomies exist in this AU like they did in secret life, because I love them dearly <3 Other than that, he's a college student, studying tech of some sort, and lives with Cleo and Grian :) (and potentially Bdubs, if I get around to giving him a backstory. Honestly if you have ideas, feel free to share) He occasionally helps out with the sound tech for the Heart Foundation, but it's rare.

And thank you so much! I'm thrilled everyone's liking my silly lil band au thus far, I've kinda hyperfixated on it these past few days lmao. My wrist actually hurts from drawing so much rip, I need to get a proper stand for my tablet so I'm not hunched over the desk like a shrimp. But yeah! Okay, we already know that things at the end of Master of Fate's myth don't end up quite well but can we talk about what happens in "Forest's Breeze"? The devs definitely f*cking knew what they were doing by leaving that card at the very end, because what better way of breaking our hearts surprising us than letting us know that once we all know that Zayne and MC don't end up together at the end of the myth, we get to listen to that card and discover that they promised of always being together and made love right after that?! LIKE COME ON I WANNA SCREAM.

Also it's not specified but it's quite probable that what happens in Forest's Breeze is located short after what happens in both 5 stars cards so Zayne and MC were already together in the myth (no wonder why Zayne joked about "The person you're destined to be with is stoic and not very affectionate"). Let's not even talk about what happens in Forest's Slumber because in there MC again made Zayne to promise not to leave her, in this myth she was really clingy and afraid of being left behind and there are several ocassions that she shows it. Zayne knew it and we all know that he wasn't willing to leave her and even if it's not clarified, he probably was still there with her, the only little detail is that she wasn't able to see and hear him anymore at the end of the myth and it's all just so... tragic and frustrating. Zayne will be there for her for all eternity, that's for sure, but they simply can't stay together and he's always willing to sacrifice his own happiness and own well being so that he can ensure she'll be safe, pretty much what happened with Foreseer too.

The PV of the myth really fooled me cause I truly thought for a moment that this myth wouldn't be sad. The same as with Foreseer's myth, it has left me with a feeling of emptiness and unfullfilment. So I'll be drawing a lot of fanart of them between comms ahaha. I'll be quite slow tho cause I can't draw as much as I'd like but I have to fill the void somehow ;~ ;

At least the chapters of the event story were genuinely sweet, Dr Zayne made me feel better with his sweet words so at least there's that. I hope nothing bad happens to him in the future ahaha or either I'm going to riot.

You sat down waiting for Adam to come back into the loungeroom, laying back into the plush sofa and passively listening to the sound of him cheering as whatever he was making in the kitchen clearly was a success.

You snickered lightly at the sound of him clattering around and quietly talking to himself the whole way, saying things you couldn't quite hear properly.

Although as an angel Adam shouldn't have been working overtime, he sure had been.

He'd barely swung into your workplace to talk shit like he usually did about everything and everyone to you for the past fortnight.

Although most other winners would be absolutely thrilled that they didn't have to deal with Adam, you didn't feel the same.

He was an asshole, sure. Loud, obnoxious, and overly hard-headed at times, but it was entertaining as hell ironically being around him.

So, needless to say, when he'd ended up inviting you back to his place to hang out after finally coming to your store again as an apology for 'probably bumming you out because it was so boring without him', you'd of course said yes.

You looked up as Adam walked through the doorway finally, holding a giant bowl of nachos and chewing loudly while giving you a thumbs up as he put the bowl on the table.

He clicked his fingers, pointing finger guns at you with a grin. "Let's get this shit on the road." You nodded, scooting to the side a bit as he sat down next to you.

Adam slung his arm lazily over the back of the lounge where you sat back, one of his wings' feathers grazing your arm softly where it was folded at his side.

Through the whole movie, Adam and you just talked about how bad the movie was as it was playing, making jokes and snickering.

It turned out that Adam's taste lay in b grade comedy movies that were so bad in plot it was funnier than the actual comedy within.

The constant unending running commentary from Adam, however, slowed down and, almost by the end of the film, had stopped completely.

You'd hardly noticed that Adam had been leaning up against you more and more as the movie progressed, the arm around the back of the lounge coming to actually wrap around the back of your neck as he pressed his cheek against your shoulder.

Something stupid happened on screen, and you snorted. "What the actual hell was-" You stopped as you turned to Adam, seeing that he was now dead asleep.

Apparently, the overtime had caught up with him. You hadn't much noticed the bags under his eyes when he'd taken off his mask upon greeting you, but you could see them now on his peacefully sleeping face.

You yawned as you turned to look back at the still playing movie, tears beading at the corners of your eyes. Your own sleepiness you'd been shrugging off had hit into you as if brought on seeing him passed out next to you.

It was pretty late.

You figured it would be best if you turned off the movie and got to the hastily set up space on the other lounge you had dubbed as the spot you were sleeping tonight after getting here. Although where you were was comfortable now, it absolutely would not be by the morning.

You picked up the remote from beside Adam, carefully moving to pull yourself out of his grasp in an attempt to not wake him up - only to promptly be pulled even closer to him.

Adam mumbled nonsense in his sleep, pressing his face into your neck before settling again.

Huh.

You hummed as you once again moved to remove the first man from around you, this time watching said man's yellow eyes crack open tiredly.

"Don't... go. Just stay here.. with.." He mumbled, still obviously half asleep. There was something somewhat sad in his tone as he said it. Something you had never really heard before.

You didn't get a chance to really think about it as you were picked up and then pressed against Adam, laying on top of his chest as he laid back across the lounge.

Strong arms wrapped around you tightly, barring you from leaving as he quickly fell back to sleep under you, all too comforted by your weight on top of him.

You slowly relaxed against him as you realised you weren't getting up again. Not that you much cared to move. He was actually extremely comfortable to lay on.

You pressed your cheek up against his chest, ear above his steadily beating heart, closing your eyes and allowing it to lull you to sleep.

You heard the sound of his wings coming to wrap around you as well, the softness of his golden feathers tickling your skin and adding an extra layer of warmth to the embrace encapsulating you.

He'd surely play it off as you wanting to cuddle him tomorrow, but that didn't much bother you as you drifted off, feeling much more secure and safe than you usually did.

This had me thinking a lot more about Adam than I have been, and it's probably enough to make a whole headcanon post for him tbh.

I am also SO sorry for how long it's been taking for me to get to stuff bruh, life has been putting me through the ringer a bit lately/lh

With the release of the Ithaca Saga, I can finally rank all the songs from the musical! I did this before, for Act One, so I naturally I gotta do the whole show.

Before we dive in some disclaimers:

This is my personal opinion, and forewarning here, there are some hot takes and very unpopuplar opininons below. If you disagree you are welcome to talk your shit on the notes because there is nothing I love more than arguing with strangers on the internet. No really, I mean it. Give me your worst. Just have some decorum, dont get your panties all twisted

ALL SONGS ARE GOOD. I LOVE THE ENTIRE SHOW. Just because a song is low, it does not mean I dislike. I just like it less than the ones above them.

I am ranking based on overall quality, replayability, personal enjoyment, basically just what my silly little brain thinks about it.

40 - CHARYBDIS

Truly a nothing burger. She's just...there.

39 - SIX HUNDRED STRIKE

This song is to me what The Godfather is to Peter Griffin from Family Guy. Do with that information what you will. Also, first impressions unfortunately matter, and that CG animatic...yeah.

38 - GET IN THE WATER

Poseidon should've a second verse before Ody had his. If he did, i'd like this much better. And by now you can deduce what is my least liked saga LMAO, and I really didn't want it to be so, but these three are probably the only songs in the show I actively dislike. Unfortunately the hype was too high on these, and they did NOT live up to it. I fear we lost a little bit of the plot after the Thunder Saga, although Wisdom was (much) better than Vengeance.

37 - POLYPHEMUS

It's slow, heavily dialogue-y and is not very fun to listen to outside of a full listen through of the show. Just not my vibe at all. Still love her tho <3

36 - STORM

My opinion on her has not changed in the slightest since the last time I ranked it to be honest, but the addition of the 20 other songs made her plummet. Still think she lacks a little bit of flavor, a little something. Haven't felt her since tiktok teaser days, still don't.

35 - LUCK RUNS OUT

I said it once and I'll say it again. I am pissed at the change from the teasers lmao, the rappy version of Eury's first verse was SO much better and I am still salty about it, but it is a good song overall and I like Eury's character beginning to blossom here.

34 - LITTLE WOLF

Don't shoot! The song is great, i love Athena's part, but idk, it's so weird to put it before We'd Be Fine. Like, I just can't put my finger on why, it's just my truth.

33 - THERE ARE OTHER WAYS

We have officially entered No Skip territory. 33/40 is a great score.

The intro and the duet are amazing, I am a sucker for duets between man and woman: Bad Idea from Waitress is one of my fave broadway songs of all time, and that last high note is life changing but Circe's second verse is kinda meh. It has grown on me quite a lot since last ranking.

32 - PUPPETEER

Anyway, I love me some Puppeteer. The intro is amazing and fooled me, i thought Eury was going to profess his love or something. The Lyricism, the dynamics between Ody and Eury, perfection.

31 - KEEP YOUR FRIENDS CLOSE

She is weird but she is good. Another song I love that plummeted in the rankings because of the second act lmao. Jorge has since then showed us the twink.

30 - THE UNDERWORLD

My opinion hasn't changed but I'm tired of Polites showing up everywhere lmao

29 - LEGENDARY

Pretty good song to introduce Telemachus and Antinous, silly and fun, but not much else to say. Very solid, good song, nothing to complain about.

28 - ODYSSEUS

She is incredible. The edge, the villain era, the violence and the climax of it all, remarkable. The vocals are insane, the extras, all. I screamed when Telemachus appeared.

27 - DONE FOR

Oh how the might have fallen LMAO this was ranked 7th last time, but the competition is STEEP baby. The second act songs just blew it out of the park, plus many songs I ranked low last time went up so yeah. Still an amazing song, and i will always love it as the one teaser that truly got me into this musical.

26 - MUTINY

ARMANDO JULIAN. Stellar performance, and that Just a Man reference my GOD.

Truly insane how low this song is, when this is song TWENTY SIX the other 25 have to be absolute bangers, which they are.

25 - FULL SPEED AHEAD

The harmonies, the character intros, the simplicity, the naïveté, the HARMONIES, YES, AGAIN THE HARMONIES. Troy saga best saga, and if you disagree you can eat my ass

24 - WARRIOR OF THE MIND

This song was second to last on my Act One ranking and I would like to apologize, as I ranked all athena songs kinda low back then. The cultural impact this had alone makes her stand above many. Great song.

23 - DANGEROUS

Hermes wouldn't disappoint me, even among the Vengeance Saga he shines. I love this song. Animatic on the live stream kinda sucked, (no shade to the artist, I loved your work on I Can't Help But Wonder) but the song has been stuck in my head since before Troy was cast.

22 - HOLD THEM DOWN

YES. YES. I LOVE A VILLAIN WHO IS JUST IREDEEMABLY EVIL. God, I love Antinous's character so much, and Ayron Alexander's performance is simply insane. His death was SO FUNNY, truly, I love this song.

21 - LOVE IN PARADISE

Another song that snatched my ass during teaser era, I adore Love in Paradise. The percussion, the immaculate vibes and the emotional whiplash at the end, i just love it.

20 - GOD GAMES

I'm so sad she isn't better LMAO, the gods' arguments were too short! This should've been an 8 minute song, and I am so serious. Either way, despite my gripes with it, I love it, and I want Luke Hot to step on my neck, respectfully.

19 - OPEN ARMS

A classic. What's not to love about her? The dialogues get a bit meh, but c'mon, who cares? Love Polite's solo moment. I just with it had more duet-y parts.

18 - SURVIVE

This song grew on me tremendously. I didn't like it as much at first and i ranked it pretty low last time, but holy shit. This song is so ALIVE. it fills me with, idk, gas? You get it, right? PUSH FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAAAARD!

17 - DIFFERENT BEAST

The payoff on Monster, a masterpiece tbh. Great song, very dark and violent, just how I like it. First time Ody actually scared me.

16 - MY GOODBYE

Perfection, but I wish Ody and Athena really had a proper duet, like harmonizing together and stuff at some point on the show, and I feel like here would've been the perfect opportunity. But the song is phenomenal, and the JUST A MAN REFERENCE? Lifechanging.

15 - REMEMBER THEM

Top 15 mean we have entered perfection. All songs from here on out are 10/10, with zero notes. Perfection. Immaculate. No suggestions, no way to be better, no. PERFECTION. The rankings are just numbers atp, ngl, except for the top 5.

8 - THE CHALLENGE

Speaking of the Queen, OH THE CHALLENGE HOW I HAVE LOVED YOU FOR YEARS! For those who don't know, this and NSFLY have been (kinda) out for a long time before release because Jorge presented them on workshop before even the Troy Saga came out! And The challenge has always been one of my favorites. Anna Lea delivered a spectacular performance. It brought me to tears to finally see it out.

7 - I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER

I wish I could forget this to listen for the first time again. Tears, every single time. Also ATHENA IS ALIVE YALL.

6 - MONSTER

I mean, come on. Do I even have to say anything? When he quoted Poseidon. The venting about all he lost, THE CONFIRMATION THAT HE DID, IN FACT, KILLED THE BABY. HE BECOMING THE MAN TIRESIAS SAW IN HIS PROPHECY. I MEAN, COME ON

5 - NO LONGER YOU

Wig? Snatched. This was my favorite song for a while, I even auditioned for it lmao. Deffo my favorite one to sing, still. Mason DEVOURED this track, and the prophecy? Odysseus's scream? Setting up Monster, AKA one of the best things in this show? Gagged me, your honor. I can't stress enough how much I love Mason's performance here.

4 - RUTHLESSNESS

I was INSUFFERABLE when this came out. I made this song my entire personality for a good 3 months. Ask anyone close to me. She was on repeat for WEEKS. Steven Rodriguez, man. God. That man's voice. That man in general, actually.

3 - SCYLLA

The most hype song in the show, sung exquisitly by who can only be described as vocally insane KJ (have yall seen the video of them belting her lungs off while KAYAKING?) But honestly, what I love the most about the song is the lyrics in the chorus.

"Die in the blood where you bathe" will forever be my favorite line in EPIC.

2 - WOULD YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH ME AGAIN

Tears. Every single time. Shit, i'm beginning to tear up writing this. The voices, the harmonies, the rage, Penelope's gambit, THAT RIFF ON "FOR YOU", THE JUST A MAN INSTRUMENTAL THAT MAKES ME CRY. The fact that the show ends in "i love you". I just can't describe in full how much I love this song. I can't wait to see the many actresses that will play penelope on broadway.

1 - JUST A MAN

Remarkable, showstopping, absolutely the best song ever made in a musical. The lyricism, the production, the poetry, vocal performance, I really don't have much to say because it's not needed. All of my favorite moments in this soundtrack, unreleased songs included, are moments in which this song is referenced.

I love this song so much i literally can't think about things to write that can represent how much I love it. Shit, this entire part is straight up copy paste from my act one ranking.

My life's dream is to go to broadway once to see this fucking song live, and i know it will be life changing.

I do but not as often as I should, I have a lot of unanswered comments in my inbox but one of my goals for this year is to answer all of them, I love comments and I have this idea that maybe people don't comment because they see I don't answer comments that often :/

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

I wouldn't say the angstiest ending because i like happy endings but slow dancing in the dark is the angstiest fic I have, though i want to believe it's more of a hopeful ending :•) (the people who read it might disagree)

like i said, i like happy endings but if I have to choose, maybe some sunny day, it's has a pretty sweet ending I think!

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

The Empire of the Sun, it was a big project of mine, one i really liked! it was a jegulus dystopian au, I had the whole idea drafted but I've seen how people treat fics and authors in this fandom, specifically with this pairing and that kinda made me. not want to continue writing it, honestly. Also it's a big ass fic so, I don't think I'll ever finish it anyway.

What are your writing strengths?

I think maybe inner dialogue, I like to ramble a lot inside my little puppet's head so, probably that. I'm kind of an oblivious self-deprecating author so I'm very Unaware of these things.

What are your writing weaknesses?

A year ago I would've said my inability to finish anything but that's not true anymore so, probably the lack of flexibility, sometimes i want something to make sense and i research and I spiral that something is not quite right when in reality this is fucking fiction and i need to calm down and remember is not that serious!! (also long ass sentences like this one... not even a comma im Insane)

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

All in, I even have dialogue in french and spanish in my fics so. I particularly appreciate it when the author leaves the translation in the notes so i know what they're talking about hehe

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Good Omens, I have a azicrow/ineffable husband's fic in my drafts so, maybe that will see the light of day someday! also, Agatha All Along, agathario, those two tempt me to write something for them....

a/n : Still so sorry for not posting this last week! Just been rly caught of with my exam this week and also just overall being stressed by school! I'll tr to write next 2 or 3 chapters this weekend tho so I got a lil puffer for the next weeks!♡

Your day wasn't over after the quick meal you had with Wooyoung and Seonghwa. Right now you were sitting in the crows nest with Wooyoung, him explaining his job to you, you were quit glad that you were with Wooyoung right now and didn't had to train with Jongho again.

"I'm glad that you decided to tag along with us, it's gonna be a lot of fun." You were just as glad as Wooyoung, was he the one you should be the most thankful to, he was the one to help you stay on this ship, with this crew.

"What did you want to tell me while we were eating? About the captain?" Curiosity getting the better of you like always, now looking at Wooyoung who shifts a bit uncomfortably by your question. "I can't tell you, Seonghwa was right, it's Hongjoongs secret, either he tells you himself or you won't know, I'm sorry." His answer made you pout slightly but you could also understand, you probably wouldn't want your secrets spilled out to everyone either. "It's okay, maybe I will know someday." Looking out of the crows nest again, you look to the horizon where the sea meets the sky. It's still not late, maybe the middle of the day, the sun was standing high above the two of you, making it quit hot up in the crows nest.

"Hey Wooyoung! Mind giving away the princess for a bit?" Mingis voice was heard suddenly, looking up at the two of you with a smile on his face. "Sure! See you later." Wooyoung tells you, as you make your way town carefully, Mingi still staying at the bottom of the net, in case you needed help or need to be caught im case you slipped. "Thank you for agreeing to helping me, I really need the help. You can read right?" Mingi asks, following him into the captains cabin, Hongjoong not in sight. With a yes to his question, Mingi gets out a box from a cabinet and pulls up a second chair. "I'm in charge of keeping the maps organised and also having a protocol of the kingdoms and islands we visited by now." Mingi explains, sitting down on Hongjoongs chair, he probably did this in his room, as it had the biggest desk and also wouldn't have any disturbances. "You can sort the maps alphabetical for now." Mingi explains, getting out a pencil to start drawing on the map, probably adding islands they recently discovered.

Now sorting the maps, you sometimes look at the few books on the desk, on each one of them was written the word 'Ateez' and Aurora, looking up at Mingi now you speak up again, : "On the books, the word Ateez, what is that?" Immediately after finishing your sentence Mingi let's out a chuckle, laying down his pencil. "You are currently on the ship Aurora with the crew Ateez, Ateez is our Crew name." Mingi explains to you, before going back to sketching the map.

After a while the door opens and closes, in walks the captain, taking of his coat and hat and laying down on his bed, eyeing the two of you.

"Is she good help Mingi?" The captain speaks up now, closing his eyes, your eyes stay fixated on the maps you were sorting though. "Definitely, it was getting a bit to much for myself, so I'm glad for her help." He praises you, making a smile appear on your face. "I see, well don't be to loud please, I want to take a nap." Putting his hat over his face now, the captain trys to fall asleep, while you and Mingi go on with your work.

After probably two hours you and Mingi finished, standing up and leaving the room carefully so you won't wake up the captain.

"You seem to get along with everyone quit fine, it's nice to see that you're getting used to being on here." Mingi talks while walking around the deck with you, nodding when someone greets the both of you. "Everyone is quit nice, so it's really easy to adapt to the crew and get used to them." A nod was seen from Mingi as you two continue your little stroll along the ship. "Just wishing everyone would start to call me by my name, Y/N, and not princess, I'm not a princess anymore." Explaining this to Mingi, he send a sympathetic glance towards you. "You just have to tell us and we will gladly call you that Y/N." A relieved sigh leaves your lips, hoping that all of them would call you that soon.

"But you can't expect all of us to call you that, you're the princess of our crew now, isn't that right Wooyoung?" San smirks, while approaching you and Mingi, Wooyoung following and speaking up now, : "You're right, she'll stay the princess of this ship." Rolling your eyes slightly, you still couldn't suppress a laugh. "That's okay then, as long as you two still know my name." Now it was the turn of the two man to laugh, telling you they would never forget your name ever.

After talking with the three man a while, Seonghwa soon approaches you with two plates in his hands, by now the sun was starting to go down, painting the sky and sea in a beautiful orange and pink sky.

"You should eat enough, tomorrow the training will continue." Handing you the plate, Seonghwa sits down on the railing, followed by you.

"San told me about a few of the memebers, how long have the others been here?" Seonghwa looks your way now, laying his fork down on his plate. "Me and Hongjoong started this, a small boat, we ran away from our homes and never returned. Yunho joined us shortly after that, a few other man joining too, the ship always getting bigger to have more place. Yeosang and Wooyoung joined us together, we found them stranded on an island, no one knowing where they're from or who their family is. San is a runaway, like me and Hongjoong, that's why we took him in, we saw ourselves in him. Mingi joined shortly after him, his father was a knight, but he didn't want to live that life, so he joined us. Jongho has been here the shortest, he sneaked onto our ship one night and the next after we sat sail we found him, Hongjoong was mad I tell you, but after noticing his abilitys he made him part of the main crew quickly." Glancing at you a few times, you take the information in. It was quit a lot of information to take in.

"It's a lot of information I know, but everyone on this ship has their own story, past and secrets." At the word secrets you had to think back to Hongjoong, what secret did Wooyoung want to tell you.

"Eat up, the captain want's to have a little talk with you." Bidding his goodbye, Seonghwa takes his now empty plate and walks away, probably to bring it into the kitchen.

You finished quickly, bringing your plate away and making your way to the captains cabin, knocking once and then twice. It was quiet. So you slowly opened the door, walking in and closing the door again.

Hongjoong was layed on his bed, his hat still over his face, his right leg over the other one. Walking closer, you ask yourself if the captain was sleeping or awake and already noticed you.

Reaching out a hand hesitatingly, you take of the hat and to your surprise, was the captain still asleep. His eyes closes, just now did you notice his long lashes, his face for once looked soft and relaxed, much different to the either scowling or smirking face. Placing the hat on his desk, you walk over to him again reaching out again to wake him up, but stopping midway, as a word or more like, a name slips past his lips.

Jiwon

Confused you now place your hand on the captains shoulder, shaking him awake slightly. Said man opens his eyes and looks up at you, as he sits up with a groan and stretches his arms out.

"Seonghwa said you wanted to talk to me." You explain why you were disturbing the captains sleep, the female name however still on your mind. "Ah yes, I wanted to see how you're holding up, Mingi praised you a lot today and even Yunho was pleased with how fast you are learning." His voice sounded rough from sleep, as he now sits at the edge of his bed and starts putting on his boots again. "Ah I'm just glad and happy that I can be of help on this ship." Hongjoong glances your way shortly, before continuing to tie his boots. "You will be helping Mingi from now on, study our books and read some others too, you're one of the few people that can read, we need every help that we can get with the books." He now stands up, stretching again. You just agree and are now send out again, still wanting to know who that name belonged to and the best person to ask was Wooyoung.

Making your way over to the quarter deck where Wooyoung was leaning on the railing, talking to San.

"Wooyoung! Can I talk to you for a moment?" He send you a nod, guiding you further to the back of the quarter deck, asking you what you wanted to talk about.

"I have a question about the ship, did you ever have a woman called Jiwon on board?" As soon as Wooyoung heard that name, he went pale, looking around. "Where did you hear that name? No one is even allowed to mention that name!" Speaking in a hushed tone now, Wooyoung looks at you with furrowed brows and a serious look on his face. "Hongjoong was talking in his sleep when I wanted to wake him up." A slightly scared look on your face now, caused by his reaction. "Okay, you're not allowed to speak to anyone about that name do you understand me? No one. Tell no one that you heard that name, especially not the captain, got that?" Wooyoung makes sure to make you promise you this, which you did.

Of course his reaction to that name made the question mark in your head just grow bigger.

Who was that woman? Was she a crew member? Was the captain close to her? Where was she now?

Walking away from a visibly disturbed Wooyoung, you make your way to your room, a lot of the people already under the deck sleeping. Upon arriving in the room, you start to change into the dress shirt from Seonghwa again and lay down on the bed, facing the ceiling again, which was painted a night blue and had lots of stars painted on there.

This crew may be your new family, but you still didn't get a lot of their doings or opinions.

The most questionable one was definitely Hongjoong, followed by Jongho, even Wooyoung seemed weird after the last talk you had with him not long ago. Maybe you should just ignore and forget it for now, sooner or later you'll probably hear and understand their motives.

The story gives those fluffy family vibe feels, a troop I enjoy a lot!

For a certain reason, Kieran & Juliana make a deal to pretend that they're dating each other for a while.

They‘re practically obvious idiots in love, which results into a lot of awkward moments.

It‘s hilarious and cute at the same time, I love it <3

Part 1 & 2 of the ogre‘s savaltion and the tides that set them free by lillisandme

Like the title tells, it’s a two part story - first party plays immediately after the Terapagos fight. Kieran & Juliana have a heart to heart talk which results in Kieran reflecting his feelings.

The second part takes place several years later, Kieran visits Juliana in Paldea to spend some time with her.

It‘s quite long but also very well written - I really like how the characters are fleshed out in there.

Woodworking AU by MissTreason

It‘s a story splitted into 4 one shorts - Instead of pursiuing a battle carrier, Kieran decides to step into the footsteps of his grandfather and starts to learn to crave masks.

The plot starts at Blueberry and ends up several years into the future. It‘s mainly from Kieran point of view and how his feelings change over time.

It‘s fantastic written and you just want to know what happens next.

Although I have to give a warning about the fourth part - it‘s….very spicy….

So if you‘re an minor or doesn‘t stomach this kind of things, better ignore this entry completely 

If you in fact doesn‘t mind at all, enjoy that kind of stuff even, then congratulation, you‘re a pervert…just like me 8D

It‘s more or less an AU or a „What If“ where Carmine and Kieran switch places in the first part of the DLC.

So instead of Carmine and Juliana meeting Ogerpon for the first time, its Kieran & Juliana instead. 

It‘s an interesting concept and I love how it‘s being fleshed out so far. (I‘m quite excited how the story will go from there :> )

This one‘s so random but also so cute lol

It‘s an oneshot about Juliana, a florist and Kieran, a tattoo artist who one day storms into her little shop to demand a bouquet of flowers. 

It sounds pretty boring and ordinary, but believe me its not LOL 

I sometimes catch myself rereading this story several times because it‘s just so cute and hilarious, I just can‘t oke xD I even debated whenever I should make fan art or not��probably will in the foreseeable future lol

Azure Dive by UndeadWitch

Like S&SD it takes place between the second part of the DLC.

Kieran got possessed by Dokupon (it‘s more or less Peachy, but very different) and Juliana tries to help him, while facing…well…school life lol

It‘s that kind of slow burn where you scream into your cushion out of frustration pff 

Although I have to say, I like this approach a lot. The story has time build itself and the characters go through some well deserved development as well.

Just bring some patience and you will love this piece of fantastic art quite a lot <3

Oh, sure I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities, considering I haven't watched eom for half a year and Charlance isn't a thought-out character like Branwen

🗡 Originally I thought about giving her gluttony as a sin, since it was the only one left, and I still think that it fits. Alternatively sloth would fit for her too.

🗡 Uhh... Remind me what rooms are in the house and which ones aren't used and I'll tell you. Otherwise I don't know.

🗡 I mean. Considering that I haven't continued to watch after episode 24. Well I'd say she didn't survive the fight. She probably died fighting, mortality wounded, she first thought "Oh well, tis but a scratch" (just my headcanon but I don't think she could feel physical pain because of her deal/curse). Yeah well turns out, it was kind of serious, and the flames that cursed her blood and body burst out and consumed her whole.

🗡 To her, this place is kind of nice. Calm, quiet, and most importantly, not in a constant state of burning. The people tho she could do without.

🗡 Actually she is kind of nice! Just not very talkative or social.

- She very much enjoys Yorgrims presence. He, much like her, doesn't talk much, so they get along well.

- She feels a weird connection with Briggsy. I mean they are both cursed in a way so she thinks that he gets her.

- She's very happy with Lethica around. Charlance likes her kind attitude and thinks her voice is very calming.

- In a way she thinks that Jericho is a bit helpless. She pokes him with her rapier in his back when she feels like he's going the wrong way. In sort of a way she thinks she has to mother him, because he would be loat without the others.

- She doesn't have a very strong opinion on Maruis. She can respect his sense of dudy to his god, tho the slow crumbling of that faith hasn't gone unnoticed by her.

- To her, Farryn has become a very good friend. She believes she can lernen a lot from her about nature and the forest. Charlance really likes her antlers.

BONUS:

- She is secretly very relieved to have an other tiefling with Jiayi in the group. Be as it may, you'd always feel the most comfortable with your own kind.

- Anastasia seems very friendly to her, tho she might not quite understand how these mechanical wing are supposed to work if fairy wings are something so very delicate.

And yeah that about covers it.

Time travel swapped AU What the title says. Time travelling Law & Heart Pirates meet little Doffy & Cora. He adopts them takes them in in a heartbeat, though warming up to Doflamingo is a very very slow process. Snippets.

DR st A folder with a bunch of wips for the I've seen you fic. Doflamingo finds slave Rosinante in the Human Auctioning House on Sabaody. He takes care of him and basically decides to wage war on the whole slave market. Cora & Doffy & Donquixote Family, rated T for the topic it circles around, multi-chap + series.

DR - Ghibli - Sen to Chihiro Doffy & Cora x Spirited Away crossover. The brothers are tossed into the Spirit Realm and meet Yubaba sisters. Oneshot.

KSxDR - prologue Not a prologue anymore xd A wip document for the Through the End fic. Doffy & Cora x Blood Blockade Battlefront crossover, multi-chap.

A Battle of Will Corazón-centered, CoraFest wip, multi-chap. Corazón, for some reason, tries to quit smoking, this time for good. The Family has a lot of fun with this.

Pralnia Tsuru - spinoff (translation: Tsuru's Laundry Room - spinoff) Tsuru & Cora & Doffy fic, centered around and exploring Tsuru’s powers, how they can affect people and possibly change DQ brothers’ story. Two chapters, the first one focused on Tsuru and Corazón, the second one on Tsuru’s powers and Doflamingo.

hiii. sorry , i know i have been slow. on top of all the other things going on we have a life update here. i honestly wasn't even going to post about this but i did have a few people in my inbox this morning so it made me change my mind.

my husband's grandma these past few months was told she had a few months left to live. we had been with her pretty much all of last week for her final moments. she passed today peacefully in her sleep. it's been really really hard as you can imagine not just for my husband who looked at his grandma like a mother but also me who had been very close to her. when i saw her again , i was told she was forgetting a lot of people. i expected her to not remember me and i wasn't going to be upset since i am the newest addition to their family , but she ended up saying " where's autumn (my real name) ? i saw her a moment ago. " and ofc , i was brought back in. i was in tears when i left the room bc i was really happy she remembered who i was. matt , my husband , has been dealing with it as best as he can but he hasn't really been him lately. which normally he is quite a sunny personality. it's just been a tough go i'll be honest. on top of that , my cat is unfortunately on her way out as well due to c*ncer. and it's made me basically shut down my relationships altogether just bc my cat is my baby yk. and i wasn't in a right state of mind for a couple of days. we don't have kids , we have animals. it's been hard to feel i have a safe space outside of video games so when i get home from work i tend to go straight there and not look back atm.

i really wanted to give an update tho in case people were kind of wondering where i've been or what's been up or whatever. i know i've been slower here. i know i have a lot of stuff in my inbox piling up and i tend to drop in and out when i please but. besides the major sad events , i do want to say that there has been very happy things happening for me. we are moving soon !! we plan to get a dog when we do finally. which is a dream of mine to have with my husband. i'm excited for that. overall , i am very blessed to have a lot of things i do now but ?? yeah um. ofc i miss belle and writing and i will probably continue to drop in and out of here but. i do think of the friends who follow me here a lot. i like your posts a lot bc i do love seeing your life outside of tumblr.. i've seen a lot of people getting married recently. lots of wonderful people who really deserve all of the happiness. it's been a pleasure to feel included. adore you all. <3

Hoya carrot your art intruiges me so much I wanna eat it (nom). Ok but uhhh serious mode now, what's your art process like how do you art what do you do when you draw? like wats the process ya? ya.

i don't normally have any way to show off my process as i don't do time lapses and don't save like, WIP versions of my art... BUT... just because you asked, i decided i'd try to do a time lapse vid

i don't like to do them because 1) aseprite doesn't have a built-in recorder, meaning i just have to record the whole window, which makes it quite jumpy with all the zooming and what-not, and 2) i just get really self-conscious and anxious LKDJALDSF

anyway, i recorded a time lapse vid of redrawing a CG for arc 1 (see how long it takes you to figure out which one it is lksadjfas). i chose this one for the vid because i wanted to redraw it anyway (the original was really bad) and because it's not too complicated, which lessened my fear a bit hahaha

do be warned that it's QUITE JUMPY especially in the second half during the coloring section, so cw eye strain / jumpy motions 💦 (i actually had to slow it down because the first one i made at 1200% speed was REALLY bad so i brought it down to 700% speed and it's a bit better now tho a bit long... hopefully it's ok):

i'll probably still do a couple tweaks to it after this... especially as i just remembered iggy needs to have bruises on his neck for this part LOL and i need to make expression variations, but still, this is pretty much how i do all my art!!! obviously some are much more complicated than this and sometimes i also do a lot more lighting work depending on the scene, but this is the foundation for all my stuff
