I don’t know how interested people are in this rambling, but I still would like to tell a tiny bit more about that Transformers Alternate Universe concept of mine. Cause it’s been in my mind for a year now and I never knew how to go about telling it without solely depending on illustrations.

Anyway, I’ll still try my best to talk about it. So in terms of the war, it has thankfully stopped. Giving both Autobots, Decepticons, and any Cybertronian that stayed neutral or were rather AGAINST war, time to recover. Though to call it a blessing is not an ideal word for all their situations.

As in a span of a few months on their ceasefire, a sickness unknown to their species began to emerge from their weakened planet. And though the infection started out small, it slowly spread across the planet affecting all life. To give an example of how bizarre the virus is to its inhabitants, I would like to say it’s an infection much similar to the one in the animated series Primal on adult swim. Where the infection bubbles and melts the skin of its victims. Though perhaps I’m downplaying how scary it is for both Primal and here in this world. Regardless, it’s a haunting sickness that everyone can universally say is horrid beyond belief. Sure isn’t no pretty sight. But what kind of sickness is, right?

Surely there is a cure, but no one knows what that could be. Though many assume this is Primus way of saying this sickness has been caused due to how corrupt this world has become. And they are barely holding onto this planet, but falling apart as time passes. So then this begs the question to all Cybertronians. Do they abandon this world, and risk many other species by spreading the virus, OR do they all try to remain here and search for a cure? And keep their species alive while it still functions.

You can imagine that some would try to flee, but the overall conscience is to try to save their planet. And in turn save themselves. It’s an ideal scenario, but this world is still hanging in the balance of life and death. So it’s not an easy feat.

Really the only things I had planned out is Starscream in this world was thrusted into leadership due to Megatron becoming infected. Although he did want this kind of position, he never anticipated that such circumstances would change his character so much. And to see so much death. Mind you, the war on Cybertron was very brief. So this is his first hand experience with real unavoidable death.

So imagine how he goes from cocky and arrogant to something entirely different. But uhm, yeah. Nothing too fancy here. And it could be polished up more, yet I still enjoyed bringing it back up!

Welp, it's finally happened. PC finally died, the motherboard fried. Thank you for the past 3 years of allowing me to draw digitally, you reliable hunk of metal. I wish you weren't sold to me broken and full of viruses in the first place, but we still managed through the odds nonetheless.

I'll miss this thing, no matter how much of a pain in the ass it was most of the time. 🥹🥲

Now to the problem of 'how will I do commissions now'....

you finding out that earth 1610! miles is spiderman :)

so you and miles have been dating for a while

and lately he's been missing a lot of your dates

so you thought maybe he'd been doing something secret behind your back

you know he wasnt the kind to cheat

but he was for sure hiding something

because whenever you asked him he made up an excuse

the excuse of the day was "i'm helping my mom"

so you decided to walk to their place

and after speaking to his mom, you find out he was not, and hasnt been helping him

so now you were even more confused, and decided to wait in his room for him to come back and to confront him

and he was taking a long time so you laid on his bed and started scrolling on your phone

when suddenly you heard a thump on the window before it slid open

thinking it was a robber you moved to hide on his bed, grabbing a heavy lamp from his bedside table

and as you saw a shadow moving closer, you held it over your head and were about to throw it at the intruder

when u saw a familiar suit

"spider-man?" you gasped softly as he looked at you

what was he doing here?

you put down the lamp slowly and walked up to him as he stuttered, before forcing a deeper voice to talk to you

"u-um, citizen that i dont know, what are you doing here?"

you explained how you came to visit your boyfriend, and then asked him if he'd seen him, describing how he looks

"coily black hair, about your height, same figure, brown cute eyes..."

"you think my eyes are cute?"

you paused, glancing at him

you were not talking about him

you slowly walked up to him and held the edge of his mask as he started to stutter a bit

you pulled it off gently, and gasped softly

"miles?"

you looked at him in awe, before hitting his arm and starting to rant at him for not telling you and how much danger he was in

"what if you got hurt, stupid? you should have told me!"

he held up his hands in front of him, trying to explain himself before you hugged him gently

"'m glad you're ok."

he hugged you back

"course i am, gotta come back to you after all"

I don’t know if this sand storm is scripted but, the storm clearing up as you approach Meridian…all while that serene ambient music plays in the background…idk maybe I’m overreacting but it seriously took my breath away. I had to just stop and take in just how gorgeous it all looked. Like, you can even see the stormbird and thunderjaw that are so far away!!! I love this game so damn much 😭😭😭😭

BTW I unfortunately had to take a break from both Seemingly Dark and Mil-Liminal this December. Big things happened, like losing our kittens, almost losing my precious Angel cat from her difficult pregnancy, and my partner getting sick too. Not to mention a trip to the US to visit my mom. I’ll be back in full force in January, thank you so much for the endless support! It means everything to hear people are missing what I do,, (I’ve had a few questions about it, which honestly made my day, I know people like my art but I don’t get as much feedback or comments on the comics, and sometimes I forget that they do matter to people!)

Anyway, thank you for everything, I’m itching to get back to the drawing board comic wise (and record a new podcast episode too!) see you soon!
