I will always be in favor of playersexuality. Until the day game designers have more nuanced understandings of sexuality.

Game designers still only understand flamboyant gay, mean lesbian, slutty bisexual, and quirky queer. Any identities not those are not even recognized. And any complex characterizations are only afforded to "normal" straight characters.

While Larian gave us a step in the right direction, they are still coming from the above framework and trying to reiterate upon that. And you have to understand that framework in order to recognize why their implementation is still somewhat shallow while still being the best offered compared to other games in the genre.

In the past, every time I encountered a woman in a romanceable video game who correctly represents my own experience of bisexual/pansexual identity, she was only romanceable by male characters.

These are women who have tough exteriors on a spectrum of "bitchy femme", a midpoint of "aloof androgynous", to "tough masc". All points that are gnc in some way, but all are women who also have a soft interior that is interpreted as conventionally feminine.

Game designers interpret these two traits (outward gnc and inner softness) as a nullification to heterosexual woman. Time and time again. Falling into the stereotype of being a woman for a man to tame.

Will they ever understand? Or do people as a whole just don't understand the many ways bisexuality can take shape?

saw a tiktok that was like. Daily Affirmations: my work crush doesn’t like me. and now i’m like wow i wish i could send this directly to all of my new high schooler coworkers. who are all really annoyingly obsessed with our one male manager because he’s The Chill Manager. you may have seen me refer to this man before (it’s different when EYE love him because we are the same age. the high schoolers being obsessed with him is weird as hell and he DOES need to stop encouraging this) back in winterspring i was doing a lot of opening shifts with him and i was joking that we had the king and lionheart dynamic. which was real at the time but not so much the vibe now just because like. the vibe has shifted idk i work different shifts there’s different other managers i’m technically promoted there’s all these new people i don’t care about. the vibe is different. anyway. don’t care for these high schoolers and their obsession with him. especially because they’re like actual assholes sometimes to my friend managers… (they used to just work here and then two managers left and they got promoted) (i also technically got promoted at the same time but they rank above me and do more shit that i don’t want to do so like. obviously i’m not bitter or jealous about it. like if i had to manage a bunch of teenagers that didn’t respect me i might cry every single day) (which is happening to one of them fr. they’re literally such assholes to her sometimes it’s crazy like she’s not even as mean to you people as she should be…) not to side with like. The Man or whatever but unfortunately i’m not a teenager with a part time job i go to when i don’t have soccer practice so i cannot relate to the proletariat in this situation… like i knowww they’re seeing my girl as Bitch Manager and it’s making me hate them soooo bad. like you idiots can’t even fold jeans correctly!! i hate you!!!!

Yonny, Brown Ink Wraith (Mixed Wraith AU)

Ink Wraiths are normally only Liquid Wraiths, but sometimes, they can become Mixed Wraiths. (Most likely via possession)

These Wraiths are able to mold and create new looks for themselves whenever they want, which is only cool because they are Liquid Wraiths, who tend to not be able to do that. However, Mixed Ink Wraiths can only mold the part of the body that it has consumed, and if it consumes the entire body, the Wraith and the other creature will both DIE. When they do form a disguise, it only uses the colors of the Ink Wraith and the other creature. Plus, their Ink will drip down, often overflowing onto the other creature's neck, shoulders, and top of feet. Each Ink Wraith has their own personality, and each tends to be less or more child-ish.

These Wraiths are affected by Lumiknolls in early childhood, but when they become adults, they are not affected by the Lumiknolls.

Yonny is the third person to become a Wraith, and he has his memories once he does become one. This happens a day after Dingo and Bernard go missing. Yonny, Shepherd, and Nova go out to look for them, and Yonny does find Dingo, and the several colorful Ink Wraiths from before. So Yonny tries to save Dingo, only to find out that he doesn’t actually remember the doctor. The Ink Wraiths also don’t like Yonny being here, but they just have to deal with it. 

Dingo starts playing around with Yonny, pulling him one way and then suddenly zooming across to the other side from where he was originally pulling. Now, he’d been doing this with the Ink Wraiths, and they are easily able to stabilize themselves, but Yonny ends up being taken by surprise, and hits the ground quite hard, which breaks the front part of his helmet. He panics, gripping his neck to attempt to get breathable air. Upon seeing this, Dingo panics, and grabs the Brown Ink Wraith’s mask, and puts it on Yonny to try and save his life. This works, combining the two together, though Yonny doesn’t wake up for several days after the fact.

The Brown Wraith and Yonny share memories, and the two share control around 50/50. Yonny tends to take over more often, but Brown Ink Wraith tends to be in control more often. Yonny’s body, just like the Ink Wraiths, can be transformed into something new, however it keeps the colors of his past self. The Brown Ink Wraith doesn’t do this though, it likes its new melty flesh suit.

Yonny doesn't have his personality change all too much. Aside from being a tad bit more crazy. The Brown Ink Wraith is the one we gotta talk about. It's very straight forward, and will just cut to the chase 98% of the time, and the other 2% it's trying to kill you for what you just said. It HATES stupidity, and will go out of it's way to WELL ACTUALLY someone. It enjoys Yonny's company, and soon really likes being around the crew, aside from Dingo. (Though he does warm up to him)

Refusing to adhere to the rules of the royal funeral had consequences, often immediately. The embalming stipulations in De Exequiis Regalibus were clearly disregarded by Edward IV when arranging for the exequies of Henry VI, oft referred to as Henry of Windsor. The 1910 tomb opening offers the physical evidence for this, but there is also narrative and financial evidence that corroborates the accusation of poor handling. The interval between Henry’s death and burial in May 1471 was only three days, as he died at the Tower of London. Henry was paraded with an open visage, so that he could be identified. According to Warkworth’s Chronicle, Henry’s body, while coffined, left blood on the ground, once at St Paul’s and once at Blackfriars. “Cruentation” was the medieval urban legend in which a victim always bled in the presence of his murderer. Not too many! I think Daisy's really good the way she is. She's going to be an ally of Squirrelflight, someone who helps her during Bramblestar's worst moments. She's a very level-headed and rational cat so I plan to use Clanwide arguments against her as a bit of a 'shorthand' for "The Clan is in emotional override and is not acting rationally."

She has THREE surviving children past TBC. Hazeltail, Mousewhisker, and Rosepetal.

Mousewhisker, however, will be joining RiverClan to be with Minnowtail at some point. Hazeltail will be taking his roles past this point (still undecided WHEN Mouse leaves ThunderClan though.)

(Hazeltail, btw, is transfemme. They are identical twins.)

And Rosepetal's death is being swapped with Cherryfall. Cherryfall dies in the Imposter Skirmish and enrages Berrynose.

She is also just... straightup not getting that, "I've denied Smoky his chance to be a father :(" thing. If it still happens, she will be recognizing patterns in the toxic relationship she had with Smoky to the patterns that Squilf and Jessy experienced with Bramble. I hate that.

Canon was REAL quick to blame the woman who took her children somewhere they would be safe for how her MATE felt left out. He could have visited at any point and didn't, and they sure don't bring up the fact that Floss had TWO litters who "the twolegs took when they didn't even have their eyes open." But somehow this is all Daisy's fault.

okay i FINALLY watched kung fu panda 4 and i have a lot of thoughts, especially about the parallels between tai lung and zhen. tai lung was taken in by shifu, who loved him and believed in him but took pride in him to a fault, leading to the arrogance and entitlement that was tai lung's downfall; zhen was taken in by the chameleon, who criticized her and used her and acted only out of self interest, a belief system that ultimately lead to zhen's rebellion. two young kids each given a chance by a master, one of them with kindness and excessive leniency, the other with mal-intent and no room for error. tai lung and zhen could've easily swapped places and each of them turned out differently. it's so fascinating, and a very smart writing choice to bring tai lung back into focus in conjunction with the the introduction of zhen's character.

i just saw journey in concert and it was ABSOLUTELY FUCKING meh

the music was good (i mean come on, it's journey), but the mixing was like a heavy metal concert. i could feel the bass reverberating in my fucking ribcage. that should not be happening at a concert for DAD ROCK.

also the audience was legitimately just drunk white generation x. i was probably one of the youngest people there and unlike with the multiple heavy metal concerts i've been to i was VERY uncomfortable in that situation
