Susan referred to her period as “shark week” in passing, and Delenn appreciates a good research into the unknown, a "deep dive", if you will…

she knows so many facts about sharks. so many. she will make conversations with new people about these Earth animals. she really likes to talk about surviving mass extinction on multiple occassions, but it’s a little more than taboo for her to do that.

Delenn cannot watch Jaws because of its inaccuracies regarding sharks.

Delenn calls Ivanova акула (ah-kool-ah)- “shark” in Russian.

David has shark everything from his Auntie ‘Nova. I mean everything. Clothes and pajamas and stationary and toys- and his Anla’Shok Na absolutely crocheted him a holster for his denn’bok when his training was complete.

Ivanova takes Delenn to an aquarium focused on animal rehabilitation on Earth soon after John’s death, and Delenn would not budge from the shark exhibit. The center then continually receives a significant stipend from the IA's budget focused on environmental protection to go to shark rehabilitation following the visitation.

it's barely a growl, rasped on his exhale as metal strains beneath the hound's white-knuckled grip. he'd draw his blade, extend it and take the brat's head off in a heartbeat but tetcho needs him. he needs the information he has - needs that insight that will help them in the long run. that, and he's following orders. orders that he has no say in. orders that he doesn't want to have a say in. tetcho's existence is one with one sole purpose - to cut down what he's pointed at. yet... who can this detective be talking about? jono and the others are following their own trails. tetcho has pinned this one down in a dead-end alley; anyone else would be pleading for their life at this point.

so why isn't this one?

teeth grit, the hound's grip on his composure starting to slip as his mind races. he's just trying to make tetcho doubt himself, surely? that's what jono would tell him. that's what-- the drip, drip of blood in his peripheral - gurgles around blood, inches away from the shell of his ear-- no. no - shut up. lip curls upward in a snarl, predatory in nature as the hound forces himself to concentrate on the threat in front of him. there's no way he could know. how could he know? all traces of what happened back then have been erased - they told him that they'd be erased. then why...

grip tightens on his sabre, tetcho takes a single step forward - narrowing the distance between them. "what. did. you. say?"

hiii im sure you’ve answered this before but in regards to your twst x Pokémon, how do you choose which Pokémon go give to the cast?? really curious since your choices are unique :O

unique in a good way, I hope? 😅 (jk jk I haven't come across too many pokemon AUs, so I was going in without preconceptions, I guess!) I was sorta aiming somewhere between doing, like, a full AU with internal consistency and everything, and just picking entirely based on theme/character, so maybe that's why! basically I just set some arbitrary rules (no legendaries/no repeats/evo stages based on year) and then went on ~vibes~. a couple were also suggestions (thank you guys!) and last-minute decisions, so it was a bit of a delightful mess of ideas!

my one regret is that I should have given Riddle a Togedemaru after all. ...you know what, he can have one now, why not
