me when i spend 2 minutes on Pinterest and immediately have a new novel idea

Its skin was brilliant, synthetic white, and though he didn’t allow me to touch no matter how I tried, I imagined it to be the texture of a hard linen or soft canvas, holey and holy and artificially papier-mached on. White wings shrouded their doll face, casting uniform shadows across its encapsulated bones. She reached a hand out to me but retracted it before I could grab hold – it was apparently not yet used to human customs, and became startled when I reached to grip – and walked – no, glided – down the bloody path. I scrambled to my feet to follow. They weren’t moving very quickly. In fact, she was barely moving at all, simply slowly drifting down the sticky snow. Sticky snow. What a funny thought.

kind of scared to start publishing cause whatever book i publish first will establish my “tone”

how do i choose between actually supernatural YA-ish apocalypse, vaguely supernatural criminal investigation plus dealing with aromanticism, and hallucinatory supernatural contemporary novel where nothing but suffering happens

the only thing they have in common is being queer and gory

so apparently my small aromantic crisis ISNT another phase of mine and the knowledge of it has actually been buried deep in my soul since 2022.

writing in first person can be so weird cause i spent so long trying to make him into his own character that when i have to write “cassandra” (what he calls his gf) instead of “cassie” (what i call his gf) i physically cringe as if im offending cassie. THEYRE NOT REAL

and it’s weird because i look in the mirror and find that i no longer have the capacity to hate myself

if i somehow gain a fandom once i publish my books im going to need a physical restraint to stop me from politely trolling

just calling people who ship my mcs woke and ghey 🤷‍♂️ making the worlds worst takes ever 🤷‍♂️ creating absolutely cursed ships 🤷‍♂️

and i’d also have an account that just posted literal fanart every now and then, exposed all the hidden meanings in my writing, backed up hcs with canon evidence i planted there specifically for these reasons

and they’d have beef with each other

bonus points if people start shipping them too
