📍大碗丼 at 五道口购物中心 🍚日出千层猪花套餐, stacked pork slices rice bowl set meal with miso soup, salad with sesame dressing, onsen egg and tsukemono (💸48 RMB/$7 USD).
🍲 I wish I could geotag this place properly because the food here is really good. The pork was well seasoned and paired well with pretty much everything, not too fatty but still had a good texture.
🥚 The egg was cooked to perfection, holding its shape until burst, letting the runny yolk out. The only issue I had was that the salad wasn't as cold as expected, but that might have been because I waited until after I finished the other food to eat it. If you are around Wudaokou, try this place out!

My next couple updates are going to be of various places I ate at while in Beijing, China. There was lots to try there and the food was consistently pretty good!
📍This was at The Alley at Wukaokou Shopping Plaza.
🥛 I ordered the brown sugar boba with fresh milk (💸22RMB), one of my favorite non-caffeinated bubble tea orders.
🦌 I think the bubbles were very good, with a nice texture, but the milk to sugar ratio was a bit off from what I expected. Definitely one of the better ones I've had though.
The Alley is a chain that has popped up in many other countries too, so try for yourself! They have many other teas too, but I didn't get to try any of them.

🥩 Vietnamese pho with beef brisket, tripe, tendon and omosa, topped with onions, coriander and spring onion (💸$8.95) from 📍Pho Bang on Mott Street, Chinatown!
🍜 I've been here once before, but bought takeout. I loved it, and since then I've been determined to eat in ever since. 🇻🇳 I can't judge how authentic it is, but I can vouch for good food and friendly and fast service!

🥕some pan-fried radish cake from 📍Tim Ho Wan on 4th avenue!
🥟 Radish cake, also known as lo bak go, has always been one of my favorite dim sum dishes. The chili sauce was slightly more bitter than what I'm used to, but the radish cakes were exceptionally well made!
