As Jaskier reach the final verses of the song he looked right at Geralt with a bright smile, daring him to try and leave now. He stepped up onto a table as people surrounded him, cheering and singing along.

This shocked Jaskier so much he lost his footing on the table and fell right off onto a poor chap who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Wow okay this one was good. Wrote the angst really well and Gavin coping with the prosthetic was pretty interesting. How these events effect reed900's relationship is super cool as well.

The world was painted in blue and red as people ran past them towards Takemitchy and Chifuyu, all the while Mikey’s lips were moving. It was far, far too loud to understand what he was trying to say, but Emma watched him anyway. Maybe watching Mikey talk and talk and talk made her feel normal—like Baji was going to kick in their front door with Kazutora on his heels, and Pah-chin grumbling all the while.

~~~ MANGA SPOILERS!!! This is Emma's POV and I really like it. It's one of those AU's where Takemichi took the blow instead of Emma which I adore.

“You were in the ambulance with Ken-chin,” Mikey says. He begins wrapping the bandages around Takemichi’s hand. “The doctors said he coded there. That his heart stopped. Because he moved suddenly and tried to talk, and that was too much stress.” He looks up, then, black holes for eyes. Takemichi shoulders the gaze. “He talked to you.”

“He did,” Takemichi answers softly. The good arm that’s wrapped around the pillow he’d picked up clenches around it. He already knows what the question is, but he lets Mikey ask it anyway.

“What did he say?”

“He talked about you,” Takemichi replies, simply. “You’re his brother. Why would he talk about anything else?”

Or, people seem to have the odd habit of entrusting Mikey to him when they're about to die. Takemichi recognizes patterns.

“It’s bullshit, right?” Takemitchy blurts out suddenly, blue eyes wide and desperate even as he hitches up his shoulders with a gasp of pain. “It’s bullshit and impossible and I’m a liar. You don’t have to — I mean you won’t—”

“Shut up, Takemitchy,” Chifuyu says, rubbing a hand over his forehead. Takemitchy keeps looking at him like he’s waiting for Chifuyu to just up and leave, and he can’t stand it. “It’s fine. I mean, it’s not fine,” he adds when he gets an incredulous look, “and it sounds like bullshit, sure, but people who’re lying don’t sound like that. And… it may be hard to believe, but you aren’t.”

Or, Takemichi and Chifuyu discover the seven wonders of Shibuya, tend to each other's wounds, technically do not commit any crimes, and learn how to trust each other. Not necessarily in that order.

Literally so good. Love the world building in this and Roman and Virgil's relationship was written really well, exactly how I picture it. The ending also surpised me lol it was really good and the plot twists were 10/10.

To make matters worse, he’s trapped in a tower with his own self-loathing and cowardice, and he finds himself guarded by an unusually polite dragon. What’s a guy supposed to do? Break out of the tower, finish overthrowing the monarchy, and save Thomas and the other sides. Obviously. (Ugh. He really doesn’t feel good about this.)

Fantasy AUs my beloved. Ahhh the realisation at the end was really sad. Also the slow progression of how the other sides slowly form a new perspective on Virgil is great.

~~~ This is a text fic but I really like how it conveyed Virgil, Roman and Patton's relationship as well as how it integrated Logan into it.

4. Sometimes Labels Fail by AdrianaintheSnow

Logan was good at labels, at categories. Logan sorted the citizens of his city into 6 different categories in his mind: heroes, villains, vigilantes, criminals, government authorities, and civilians, and knew how to deal with each. But… but what was he supposed to do with him.

Virgil was just trying to survive, though he didn’t think the part of him that compelled him to throw himself into fights whenever he saw the superhero Bluebird struggling had gotten the memo. His English teacher was right; he really was stupid.

When the villain criminal… when Shadow Caster gets injured while throwing himself into the line of fire for Logan, Logan can’t find it in himself to turn him over to be arrested. Luckily, he knows a doctor very, very well.

Virgil is going to get kidnapped adopted by the end of it.

This one's really great. Y'all should know by now I love me some good vigilante fics. This is mostly from Logan's POV though which is interesting. Remy is also really good in this one I love him sm.

5. Road Trips and Missing Persons by AdrianaintheSnow

Patton was just getting groceries. The next thing he knew, there was a knife at his throat and he was an unwilling uber driver. Virgil’s on the run after the murder of his dad, and it’s not just his paranoia that’s telling him he’s being chased down. He has to get somewhere safe, somewhere he can trust, and all he has is a couple of stories from his dad and a name: “Green Bellow Foods and Dispensary.”

Meanwhile, everyone else is trying to find a missing 15 year old, all with different pieces of the puzzle about where he is. It really is too bad that no one is answering their phones.

Oh man this one is so great. There's a lot of miscommunication throughout this but the hijinks everyone gets up to is so great and Patton is brilliant in this.

6. (i'd never) want once from the cherry tree by corvidspectre

Of all the notable Youtubers active today, none are perhaps as popular as Roman Prince, beauty guru extraordinaire. From small beginnings, rising popularity from his vlogs brought him to the fame he never doubted he’d relish in. But also on the up and up is the conspiracy theory and cryptid lover known by his online alias ‘Virgilant’, who reveals little about his personal life and shies from the spotlight.

Despite clashing fandoms and their own preconceptions, they're dragged into a somewhat whirlwind collaboration between channels. Sparks fly, but with Virgil desperately afraid of coming out and pining for his room mate, can anything really happen? With Logan, Patton, Remy and Deceit along for the ride, watch as fear of being who you really are blossoms into something new… With more than a little romance along the way.

Will and Max make a deal with each other to admit their feelings to their crush before New Year's Day. Takes place around Christmas-time of 1985.

This was sweet. Some good old Elmax was nice along with the Byler. Very sweet with some minor miscommunication this one was a super fun read.

~~~ This one was cool. The suspension was written really well and I gotta love me some resourceful Jaskier. Bit of a blood and gore warning but it's pretty tame.

Fleeing the armies of Nilfgaard, who think he must know where Geralt and Ciri are, Jaskier can think of only one place to go...but that means intruding on the home of a man who wants nothing more to do with him.

My boys <33. This one has a pretty big dosage of angst but the happy ending was written so well that it made up for the suffering. This is post dragon mountain hunt thing. Also Ciri is great in this (when is she not though).

Ahhh this ones really good. I like the exploration on how Sakura feels about Sasuke post 4th war. Interesting insight on how team 7's dynamic might change after the war I really like the platonic bond Kakashi and Sakura have in this one.

2. It's Just That Any One of Us Is Half Without Another One Is You by Branch

An AU in which all the character development of part one gets its due: Kakashi finds another way, Sasuke does not leave the Leaf, Itachi remains a villain, no one is a carbon copy of a previous generation, Sakura grows up to be terrifying, Sasuke finds his way back to family, and Naruto wins all hearts. Featuring Team Seven fluff, filling in the time-skip, and a rather different second half. Drama, Angst, Romance, Fluff, Action, Occasional Porn. ~~~ Not too much smut lads don't worry. Besides, you usually can just speed through it if it makes you uncomfortable. This has a warning for graphic depictions of violence but I really like this one. Not Sakura centric but it's fine cause her development and goals are so well written.

It was supposed to be a relaxing vacation at the Hyuuga summer home, a reunion of sorts between Team 7.

But at night, Sakura dreams of a mirror, chained and locked, and in the morning she sees glimpses of a handsome man trapped behind the mirror.

It seems as if it's too much for Team 7 to ask for a week of peace.

This was very cool. I liked the concept a lot and the characters were fun to read. Plus the suspense was written really well.

It’s Sakura’s first day in the academy when she falls in love with Kiba Inuzuka.

It started as many things are prone to: With a bet and the Akatsuki. Women are always right. Therefore, whatever happened, it was all his fault. Longshot/Oneshot Utter Crack

I'm surprised I haven't recced this yet. One of the first BAMF!Sakura fics I read, this ones really funny. Her interactions with Akatsuki are hilarious and Sasuke getting the karma he deserves for being a misogynistic d!ck is always a highlight.

6. A Minor Sealing Mishap by thatdamnuchiha

Naruto is cheerfully oblivious.

Sasuke plots his murder.

Sakura actually attempts it.

Or, in other words, in which Naruto makes a seal to send them back in time, but things go wrong and they find themselves shoved inside children’s bodies in the next dimension over. Hashirama and Mito are overjoyed at the birth of their second oddly Hashirama-esque son, Tobirama looks on with pride at his genius son, and Madara just wonders why his adorable daughter is always trying to kill him.

~~~ Haha this one's great. Baby Naruto and Sasuke are very cute and Sakura has one thing on her mind and that's vengeance. Also possibly being a little shit but can you really blame her?
