also proof you can make a zine entirely without a printer. of course if i want to copy it i'll need to use one but. you don't need to print any materials you can simply be a little raccoon who collects trash :)

You may need to fiddle with the margins, because the text goes close to the edges.

If you change the print size by a percent (like print at 90% size) that's fine BUT if you try to fold these as zines, things won't line up.

I'll post a pdf version link in another post. However, that link may not always stay good, as that's the nature of the internet, so I wanted to put up this version as well.

Zine prompt: make a zine about kind things strangers have done to you (or maybe tell me in the comments and also tell me if I can include your experiences)

Uploading this mainly because I'm about to move and will definitely lose this notebook or forget that it exsists but I really wanna turn this into a cute zine one day.

Rough English translation underneath the line:

Good at the core - strangers that became everyday-heroes to me

1) the person who snipped away a bee that stung me and got stuck in my skin

2) the old grandma who stripped off my pants and brushed off my legs after I sat in an antnest (I was a toddler)

3) person who, after I fell onto the street as a kid, told me their Chihuahuas would protect me

4) person who drove me home after the end-of-school party even though I told them that I was having an allergic reaction and would throw up in the car

5) person who, when I had an allergic reaction and was throwing up in the streets, allowed me into their house and switched the TV from spanish to english

6) woman who took care of me at a trainstop when I wasn't able to stand because of period pain

7) SO MANY people who took off their headphones or actively seeked eyecontact when men talked to me in an uncomfortable manner, which made me feel like somebody was there who would step in if it turned nasty

8) old woman in England, who learned how to cook glutenfree just for me when I stayed there for a week with my class

9) the person who heard that I was having trouble finding a place to stay in Ireland and called all her friends to ask if they could take me in, even though they didn't know me

Not only a cute idea (imo) but can also be used if you ever go on holiday and someone else needs to take care of them :D

OK I WENT AND SCANNED THE ZINE I MADE AND... here are most of the pages - so every middle "spread" has one left and right page on the back of it and then a bigger pic once its unfolded, but didnt include every side for every larger spread.

this basically explores a bit of folke and adrian's relationship - adrian, the Creature, ends up finding folke's brother's recently deceased corpse and imitates his appearence, the only real way for a basilisk in their world to learn to shapeshift into something.

So their relationship is a bit complicated. but also, it ends up eventually settling into something that isnt only full of bitterness...

Drawn Through the Telephone - a new original concept zine - will be a free, digital anthology, containing both art and writing.

Contributors will submit a vague description of a piece of media they like, and this pitch will then be passed on to a different contributor to create an original work - without knowing what story inspired it. For example: Stardew Valley could be submitted as 'main character moves to old family home, uncovers supernatural secrets and destroys local business'. A creator could turn this into an unwilling vampire hunter overturning the restaurant a coven uses as a front business to feed off locals.

finished this project ive been working on- a lyric booklet for the black parade inspired by illuminated medieval manuscripts! i think a lot about how the album was inspired by medieval cycle plays and always thought it would be fun to do something with that aesthetic. you can read it here!
