in one of the episodes Zed talks to the production manager of ITSLAM + Jack plays on the ZedCam account + he "comes up with" it in the Blockumentary + the joy and whimsy of my heart = Jack was the totally real production staff of Is That Sheep Looking at Me

I would say that in my headcanon it depends on the Hermit, actually.

Those with wings can fly up and do it themselves (False, Wels, Pearl...), those with redstone knopledge can build a minidron for themselves (Etho, Doc, Mumbo...). I like the gost idea but I think in my headcanon there is only one Hermit that fits it (Joe Hills from Nashville, Tennessee).

Or Xisuma at the start of the server gave everyone else a tiny helicopter with a cam that they can re-design for themselves (add little specks of colours to make it theirs) but made it so that only their "Cam accounts" can use it (ZedCam, HumanCleo, PearlescentMoo...)

yknow how mcyt fans will reinterpret things like inventory, ender chests, elytra etc in fan content? like sometimes it’s more magical, sometimes more grounded in realism? i need to know how you guys interpret the hermits using freecam

personally i like to picture a tiny ghost version of them flying around while their bodies t-pose like an npc that hasn’t fully loaded in yet

anyway im thinking abt the implications of zedcam also being used for jack to play with & the uh. skin change. like. ur a robot. but then ur body gets replaced for a mew one and theres some guy controlling you and then. after its all over. youre put back and hes not there anymore. how would you deal with that.
