So the "artists" who get inspired by your story have found their way from ff.net to AO3 too. And they've gotten way better! I just got this comment:

Look at that! The comment mentions characters of the story as well as some things that happen in it. Now, it's far from perfect - who becomes the class rep is not an "OMG, the plot twists!" moment. In all honesty, if a real reader made a comment like that, I'd think they're making fun of me. By that point I was getting quite suspicious, and sure enough, there it comes:

"As a concept artist, your story inspired me with several scenes that I’d love to bring to life through my art. Would it be possible for us to discuss this in more detail on another platform?"

Messages like this have been plaguing ff.net for a while now. First time I've seen one on AO3.
