this is a) unedited and b) the first writing ive done in a while so. whatever but @mauv-the-bluest-cat-ever said i shld write kris & jack rpf. so.

so maybe jack had had a crush on kris since he first saw him in school. and maybe that crush was reignited when they had to work together in college. and the crush maybe got worse the closer they got. and now theyre best friends. and they live together. and sometimes work together.

so a great time for jack. of course, the feelings have never gone away, the love has been there for so long that jack just lives with it, doesnt notice it as much, but then he brings kris a knife and fork with his pizza because he knows thats how he likes to eat it, he [insert two more thimgs]

jack cant help but feel like he is being so extremely obvious with his feelings when he does all that. but kris never mentions anything, just thanks him, or smiles at him. jack would do anything to make kris smile. half the time when filming his scenes, jack doesnt even think about the audience or the camera, he just tries to make kris laugh.

theyre in the editing room late one night, kris decides hes done and is going to head off to bed, as he leaves he kisses jack on the head and says 'love you' and kris is gone before jack can even process what just happened.

jack is still sitting, just staring, not working at all, when kris comes back in the room, face all red, "sorry jack that was-"

jack looks at him "did you mean it?"

"wha- pfft- of course i meant it youre my best friend of course i love you mate" kris sputters

"kris"

"well i mean, maybe i would like you to stay my best friend so im not gonna say anything else in case i ruin things"

"it wouldnt ruin anything, and we will be best friends no matter what, even if we went on a date?"

"oh"

jack smiles shyly at kris

"oh my god, how long?!"

"uh well, lets just say a long while and leave it at that yeah."
