Expecting Jiang Cheng to do more about the abuse Wei Wuxian went through is low-key kinda skewed and messed up considering that;

A.) JC was a kid himself. And;

B.) JC was also the victim of abuse. He was scared of his mother. Even then he still spoke out in abject horror when she was forced to punish WWX in front of the Wen. Funny how JC antis willingly ignore that.

Blaming a CHILD for another child's abuse is victim blaming. No one is to blame other than the abuser themselves. Which, if you remember, JC was also a victim of. Mental and emotional abuse is also harmful and damaging just like physical abuse.

How long did you write for before you decided to make an IF?

Ooh like in general? I've loved writing since 3rd grade (8 y/o) haha. The only reason I remember that so specifically is because I wrote a rather embarrassing novel about wolves at that time period of my life 😅

But I played IFs for about... a year, before I realized I could write my own! It was right when I got into WIPs and saw others doing it :) And I worked on the exile for about a month/two months before the first chapter was ready to be released!

I've already clocked this man as weirdo just by watching the donghua but WHY does Jun Wu have a virginity checking device on him? What does he need it for? How often does he use if for him to keep it in his back pocket at all times? And why does it operate with BLOOD??? What are you doing with virgins and their blood, sir??????????

I asked my husband if he wants to go back watching The Blood of Youth (it's his first watch and my rewatch, we stopped at episode 8). Since the only shows he recognizes by name are Word of Honor and The Untamed, he asked:

"Is it the one with the Sword Deity Peacock who lives in the mountain?"

He saw Wei Wuxian calling Jin Zixuan Peacock and now in any show with Cao Yuchen, his character is always Peacock, apparently…
