Good morning!
You wake up and you hear His voice.
It’s loud but soothing.
Something that makes you roll your eyes with happiness because you’ve learned it and it’s comforting.
His words are comforting yet stern.
You go with Him outside and you enjoy the feeling of the sun on your face.
You close your eyes and listen.
You hear the birds, the light breeze, and dog’s playing.
He reminds you that it’s all for you.
That you took a moment to be in His presence means everything to Him.
You sit down and take a thankful moment.
For the grass you feel between your toes, the heat of the sun, and everything in it’s perfect place and color.
You inhale the new and exhale any past mistakes.
You sit with Him in silence for a few moments.
Together you find the perfect devotional.
You read it and take in every word.
You pray.
You start your day with a renewal of your spirit.
With a smile and a song in your heart so sweet people will ask you about it.
You remind Him that it won’t end there.
You will take Him with you throughout your day.
You just need help.
Help that only He can provide.
You remind Him how things get hard and how forgetful you can be.
He reminds you.
Should you need Him…
He is only a prayer away.

"How to Life" Masterlist
Cleaning and Tidying
Make your bed in the morning. It takes seconds, and it's worth it.
Reset to zero each morning.
Use the UFYH 20/10 system for clearing your shit.
Have a 'drop-zone' box where you dump anything and everything. At the beginning/end of the day, clear it out and put that shit away.
Automate your chores. Have a cleaning schedule and assign 15mins daily to do whatever cleaning tasks are set for that day. Set a timer and do it once the timer is up, finish the task you're on and leave it for the day.
Fold your clothes straight out of the tumble dryer (if you use one), whilst they're still warm. This minimises creases and eliminates the need for ironing.
Clean your footwear regularly and you'll feel like a champ.
Organisation and Productivity
Learn from Eisenhower's Importance/Urgency matrix.
Try out the two-minute rule and the Pomodoro technique.
Use. A. Planner. (Or Google Calendar, if that's more your thing.)
Try bullet journalling.
Keep a notebook/journal/commonplace book to dump your brain contents in on the regular.
Set morning alarms at two-minute intervals rather than five, and stick your alarm on the other side of the room. It's brutal, but it works.
Set three main goals each day, with one of them being your #1 priority. Don't overload your to-do list or you'll hit overload paralysis and procrastinate.
If you're in a slump, however, don't be afraid to put things like "shower" on your to do list - that may be a big enough goal in itself, and that's okay.
Have a physical inbox - a tray, a folder, whatever. If you get a piece of paper, stick it in there and sort through it at the end of the week.
Consider utilising the GTD System, or a variation of it.
Try timeboxing.
Have a morning routine, and guard that quiet time ferociously.
Have a folder for all your important documents and letters, organised by topic (e.g. medical, bank, university, work, identification). At the front of this folder, have a sheet of paper with all the key information written on it, such as your GP's details, your passport details, driving licence details, bank account number, insurance number(s), and so on.
Schedule working time and down time alike, in the balance that works for you.
Money
Have. A. God. Damn. Budget.
Use a money tracker like toshl, mint, or splitwise. Enter all expenses asap! (You will forget, otherwise.)
Have a 'money date' each week, where you sort through your finances from the past seven days and then add it to a spreadsheet. This will help you identify your spending patterns and whether your budget is actually working or not.
Pack your own frickin' lunch like a grown-up and stop buying so many takeaway coffees. Keep snacks in your bag.
Food and Cooking
Know how to cook the basics: a starch, a protein, a vegetable, and a sauce.
Simple, one-pot meals ("a grain, a green, and a bean") are a godsend.
Batch cook and freeze. Make your own 'microwave meals'.
Buy dried goods to save money - rice and beans are a pittance.
Consider Meatless Mondays; it's healthier, cheaper, and more environmentally friendly.
Learn which fruits and vegetables are cheapest at your store, and build a standard weekly menu around those. (Also remember that frozen vegetables are cheap and healthy.)
Learn seasoning combinations. Different seasoning, even with the exact same ingredients, can make a dish seem completely new.
Misc
Have a stock email-writing format.
Want to start running, but find it boring? Try Zombies, Run!.
Keep a goddamn first aid kit and learn how to use it.
Update your CV regularly.
Keep a selection of stamps and standard envelopes for unexpected posting needs. (It happens more regularly than you would think!)

Stuff that helped my skin and hair :
Just a few simple tips.
Tumblr media
Fragrance free soaps, shampoos and lip balms.
Hair oil - twice a week. Especially if your hair is dry or normal.
Extra conditioner at the tip of your hair can treat / avoid split ends.
Moisturize before / after applying any serums or acid based creams.
Exfoliators should not be used regularly. It's recommended to use them only once or twice a week. And moisturize after using the exfoliators.
Tea tree oil based soaps and body washes to treat bacne.
Hot baths will make your skin dry af.
Cold baths are always better. If you can't handle... Stick to lukewarm.. but hot baths are a big NO NO especially if your skin is naturally dry.
Never directly spray perfume in your armpits. It will start hyperpigmentation. Spray on your wrists or neck. Or even better.. on your clothes alone. Spraying on sweat prone areas on your body will cause hyperpigmentation.
Hair conditioner can also be used as a shaving cream. It makes your skin moist, shiny and smooth. I highly recommend.
Anti dandruff shampoos can also treat your bacne. Just apply the anti dandruff shampoo on your back and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it all off.

Imagine Azul working at his desk as one of the twins has you bent over the other side just railing into you, just out of the way that you won't interrupt his work/contracts. Maybe if he's feeling benevolent, he'll hold your hand with his free one while he writes(man's totally ambidextrous).
Tako crunch time...... too busy to bother with sex, so Jade or Floyd takes care of you while he's reviewing documents...... yes. <3 it works so well with Floyd because Floyd fucks you everywhere. Thank the Great Seven for magic because the amount of times those leather sofas have had to be magically deep-cleaned after Floyd's gone a few rounds with you on them... T_T Sea Witch, give Azul strength.
But then it's also so good to imagine Jade railing you against Azul's desk and the two of them are talking numbers and profits while you're falling apart and stuffed full of cock. >_< Azul is sweet enough to take your hand in his when you're scrabbling for something to hold onto because the pace Jade or Floyd sets is brutal, and he runs his thumb over the top of your hand while you're sobbing in ecstasy, your face pressed into the pristine mahogany.
And maybe when he finally finishes his work for the evening, he gets to have his turn. >:) he throws your legs up onto his shoulders and fucks you while you're sprawled on your back on his desk. He'll even wash you up after the fact and carry you to his room so you can cuddle with him. He's such a sweet (contractual) boyfriend (and future husband, but you'll get there one day)!!!!

Routine
“Harry, wait, you’ve—your bloody jacket,” stopped him at the doorway with a roll of his eyes, this long-suffering look that failed to hide a smile. “Getting a little forgetful in our old age?”
“Shut up,” Harry laughed, deliriously fond. I wouldn’t have to rush out if someone didn’t take so long in the bathroom.”
“Did you believe all this happens naturally?” shaking his long, lovely hair in emphasis. Harry, who’d seen this trick a thousand times before, drank the sight hungrily: Harry, who’d seen Draco when he just woke up this morning, knew the statement for the rubbish it was.
“Cute. You’re stalling, and I’m going to be late.”
Draco quirked an eyebrow. “Not exactly holding you here by the tie, am I.”
Disappointedly: “Hmm. I suppose not.” Rectifying immediately with a step closer, arms wrapping around Draco; inhaling deep the sharp smell of his aftershave, of his fancy face cream Harry still occasionally had to lick.
“Now who’s stalling,” but his voice was soft, punctuated with tiny kisses to his jaw. “Harry. You’ll be late. And you’ve got that lecture today, the one you kept droning on and on about.”
While he had one arm around Harry’s shoulders, a hand threading through his hair. “It’s only, I’m a little entangled here. See, I’ve got this partner who keeps insisting he’s not clingy.”
“Surely he’s not. Did you consider the fact you’re extremely touchable? And besides that he’s maybe a bit gone for you, and cannot be blamed. Not so early in the morning. What? Stop looking at me like that, you started it, and I wouldn’t take so long to wake up if you hadn’t insisted on staying up late last night, with your,” stopped to laugh, croaky and loud in Harry’s ear, to shake his head with his eyes all grey.
A burst of it in his chest, star-bright. “You love me,” Harry said, stupidly, helplessly happy.
“Shock and awe.”
“You love me,” grinning like a fool, crushing Draco closer by the hips, peppering his face with kisses: “you really do.”
“Every bloody morning,” but he was laughing too. “You’re a ridiculous man, Harry Potter.”
“And you still love me.”
Draco, in his arms, dramatic and fidgety. “And yet I somehow still do.”
“Darling,” giddy with it, rubbing his nose against Draco’s cold one. “You’re freezing. You should get back inside, get some sleep.”
“I would, only there’s this brute who won’t let me go.”
The thought of him back in bed, wrapped under a warm duvet was slightly devastating. Trying for a brave smile, “Well, did you consider you’re very touchable.”
“Am I? That’s news to me.”
A huff, and affection tearing through him, impossibly tight: “Right, okay,” forcing his hands away, his legs a step back. “I really have to go.”
“Wait,” Draco said, forehead crinkling, “aren’t you forgetting something?”
“You already brought me my jacket.”
“Fuck your jacket. Something actually important.”
“Oh!” sweeping him in his arms once again, delighting in the way his head tilted up, expectantly, for a kiss. In delivering one at a time, deliberate. “I love you. I love you so much.”
Draco allowed this for a moment longer, then pushed Harry away, flushed and awfully dear. “All right, off you go. Did you know you’re an utter sap.”
“Only for you.”
The long-suffering look. “Oh, the things one is willing to put up with.” But he stayed there, bracing a bare shoulder against the doorway, and it was morning-cold outside, and he couldn’t really hide the smile.
“Yes, poor you,” Harry said, and kissed him again just because.

a while back i commented "everyone does this" on a post suggesting that planning out your day (ie finish breakfast at 10, leave at 12:30, catch a 1 pm train) is an autistic trait and to this day people @ me to argue against it. like why. aside from the fact that i'm right because this is the most unremarkable commonplace act of scheduling, why do you even have to mystify yourself by pretending other people somehow don't share in lame ass everyday experiences. did you know only autistic people chill out and listen to music

Foolproof Hair Care tips & routine :
I wish I knew 10 years ago... Seriously..
Tumblr media
As a child I always had silky, smooth hair.. And I believed that it'll stay that way forever. Little did I know.. I got into an all girls hostel in 10th grade & got dandruff & certain vitamin deficiencies. That made my hair look & feel unhealthy ever since.
Hot water :
Is a big no no..
Your hair will lose its natural shine in the long run.
Thinning will be a problem in your mid 30s.
Stick to lukewarm water from root to tip.
Take your damn vitamins :
Get your blood checked & see if you have any vitamin / mineral deficiencies.
Take your vitamins & once you get that problem sorted. Switch to a healthier diet that contains all those vitamins.
Besides vitamins.. eating curry leaves on an empty stomach is also good for someone who is suffering with hair fall.
Identify your problem :
If you have dandruff or hair fall..or literally anything.
Your scalp type - Oily / dry / normal
Your hair type - silky / delicate / dry
Your hair type and scalp type are not always the same.
In case of oily scalp - I strongly suggest that you don't oil your hair. Because if you do.. your problem might never resolve. (I know it because that's what I have..) but you can use a hair mask after shampooing your hair to make sure that your scalp is feeling nourished.
In case of dry scalp - Use any oil of your choice. Especially massage your scalp when you are applying the oil.
In case of dry hair - use conditioner after shampooing your hair.
In case of delicate hair - masking is a must.
Two Shampoos :
One shampoo to treat your problem (hair fall / dandruff / really any problem) & the other to act as a cleanser (parabens and sulphate free).
Problem shampoo alone - Mon, Fri
Cleanser shampoo alone - Wed, Sun
Oil :
Oiling is a big no no if you have a sebaceous / oily scalp.
Oiling is good for a dry scalp.
Tea tree oil for dandruff
Onion / castor oil for hair fall
Cold pressed coconut oil for strengthening hair
Masking / Conditioning :
Masking is helpful in nourishing your hair and scalp.
While conditioning is good for bringing back your hair's natural shine / lustre.
Please don't take them for granted.
Comb & Exfoliators :
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you are someone with a dandruff problem.. please comb your hair regularly. It will clean your scalp..
And if you have a hair fall problem.. combing with a narrow teethed comb will stimulate blood flow.
Using a scalp exfoliating comb while bathing will help you get rid of dirt / dandruff efficiently..
Clean your combs :
Wash your combs by soaking them in vinegar + warm water or baking soda + warm water.
And do not forget to wash your pillow covers after a shampoo bath. Especially if you have a dandruff problem.
Other no brainer shit :
If you are using an anti-dandruff / hair fall shampoo.. please let the shampoo sit on your scalp for atleast 20 mins before you wash it all off.
Be gentle with your hair & scalp. Don't dig your nails into your scalp or don't be harsh with your hair. Just gently massage your scalp & hair while shampooing them.
Please wash your scalp thoroughly. I can't stress this enough.. most problems are caused by the shampoo residue that is left behind..
Proper Routine :
Problem shampoo + Masking - Mon, Fri
Cleanser shampoo + Conditioning - Wed, Sun

i love your prom photos so sad you took them down
was wondering if you could give us your skincare routine and if you could tell us what products have and haven't worked for you?
and your skincare prep for b4 makeup?
a/n: hello! of course i'm willing to do that — I'll link everything as well. it'll be separated into a few different sections: products i use (separated into different sections, and w/ a 'review'), products i tried but didn't like, morning + night routine, make-up skin prep routine. all products from LIKESKIN (check out their website)
SKIN TYPE: dry, acne-prone (I'm prone to pustular acne, cystic acne, and hormonal acne) & MY SKIN CONCERNS: hydration, acne, blemishes, scarring, and hyperpigmentation
THINGS I ALWAYS DO:
Retinol 2-3x a week Vitamin C 2x a week Mask 3x a week Exfoliating toner 2-3x a week
PRODUCTS I USE:
cleansers -
[IUNIK] Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil ;; gets make-up and sunscreen off, gentle and sensitive skin friendly, doesn't break me out.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser - doesn't dry me out, gentle, foams up well, and cleanses my skin properly!
toners -
[ANUA] Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner - hydrating and soothing, helps take down my redness and blemishes
[NEEDLY] Daily Toner Pad - helps with texture and acne
[NUMBUZIN] No.5 Vitamin-Niacinamide - helps with acne scars and any darkness i have, i tend to put these on my cheek area and leave them for awhile
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON ] Green Plum Refreshing Toner: AHA + BHA - this is a light exfoliating toner that overall helps keep my rejuvenated
[DEAR KLAIRS] Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner - extremely hydrating, i use this every day and night so matter what, somewhat viscous
[SOMEBYMI] 30 Day Miracle Toner: AHA + BHA + PHA - exfoliating toner, don't use this if you have sensitive skin, but this helped me get rid of my pustules (acne filled with yellow pus)
serums -
[AXIS-Y] Dark Spot Glow Correcting Serum - mixed feelings on this serum since it helps a lot with my dark spots BUT it works on new scarring + if I use it too often, it triggers my acne.
[SKIN1004] Madagascar Centalla Asiatica Ampoule - incredibly soothing and hydrating, helps keep my acne under control
[The Ordinary] 10% Niacinamide Serum - started using this recently and i love it so much, helps the skin shine, removes texture, reduces acne and pore appearance
[The Ordinary] 0.5 Retinol - helps me extremely with acne; i worked up from 0.1% to 0.2% and now at 0.5%
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Retinal Eye Serum - i just love this one so much, very plumping
moisturisers -
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Dynasty Cream - i love this so, so much; hydrating, lightweight, and doesn't trigger my acne
[IUNIK] Centella Calming Gel - like the axis-y glow correcting serum, over-using this causes me some acne so i tend to use this once or twice a week, and it works wonders!
[COSRX] Centella Blemish Cream - HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT! this is genuinely one of the things that helped me clear my acne to extraordinary levels, especially when i had a huge breakout EVERYWHERE! i also use this as a spot treatment, repurchased this like seven times now
[DEAR, KLAIRS] Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask - using this with vitamin c works wonders and it overall enhances any dark spot removing products! very lightweight, jelly-like texture!
[I'm From] Vitamin Tree Water Gel - i adore this one so much; such a cooling, soothing moisturiser, and it targets almost every skincare concern ever, totally underrated!
sunscreen -
[AXIS-Y] Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen - only sunscreen that didn't make me break out and doesn't have white cast!
masks -
[I'm From] Mugwort Mask - i love this because everytime i have a breakout, it just helps me so much with redness.
[I'm From] Honey Mask - a miracle mask for an acne-prone person! one of my all-time favourite products! gives the skin a gorgeous shine as well! when i run out of this, i also just use manukka honey and oats!
/ so most of the products i use are anti-inflammatory, soothing, and target blemishes/texture/scarring; most people tend to forget that you should try and avoid anti-inflammatory products if you're not acne-prone because it may just end up triggering a breakout! all our skin is different! so here's PRODUCTS THAT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME:
(disclaimer: some of these products were good but i wouldn't repurchase!)
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Relief Sunscreen: Rice + Probiotics - sunscreen - triggered my pustular acne but was incredibly lightweight, super sad it didn't work out for me :(
[HARUHARU WONDER] Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner For Sensitive Skin - toner - i just didn't like this, it didn't do anything for me and caused my skin to itch.
[AXIS-Y] Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack - mask - i used all of this up and came to the conclusion it just didn't do much for me and was also incredibly difficult to wash off.
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Serum: Propolis + Niacinamide - serum - now, i genuinely loved this but it only gave me a glow and was very small, ran out too quickly! much better products that do the same job with more product and more cheap!
[BEAUTY OF JOSEON] Glow Deep Serum: Rice + Arbutin - serum - this triggered my pustular acne so bad that i threw it away almost immediately, nuh-uh!
[MIXSOON] Bean Essence - serum - this isn't bad per se, but i feel like it's a very overhyped product and doesn't do much other than boost hydration, i use it but i wouldn't buy it again
[NUMBUZIN] NO.3 Skin Softening Serum - serum - i have such mixed opinions on this one because it really does help with texture but not if you keep using it? so i'm not sure if i'd repurchase.
[NUMBUZIN] NO.5 Goodbye Blemish Serum - serum - feels heavy, doesn't do shit other than trigger my acne and make my skin itch
[SOMEBYMI] 0.1% Retinol - serum - definitely a great beginner-friendly retinol but far too light for me and my acne-infested skin :(
MORNING ROUTINE:
cleanser (green plum refreshing cleanser from Beauty of Joseon
toner (i'll switch between the ANUA Heartleaf one and the Dr, Klairs Supple one)
serum (i'll tend to use a soothing serum such as the SKIN1004 centella asiatica one or a vitamin C serum)
moisturiser (dynasty cream or vitamin-tree water gel)
sunscreen
NIGHT ROUTINE:
double cleanse (IUNIK cleansing oil + BoJ green plum refreshing cleanser)
mask (either honey or mugwort mask, leave for twenty minutes)
toner pad (leave on for five minutes minimum)
toner (usually an exfoliating toner at night-time or a hydrating toner)
serum (tend to opt for niacinamide + retinol at night)
moisturiser (usually the vitamin e mask OR dynasty cream)
spot treatment (COSRX Blemish Cream)
MAKE-UP SKIN PREP ROUTINE:
(this is what i did on the day of prom as well!)
toner pad (leave these on for ten minutes and rub around face, this helps hydrate the skin; i use the numbuzin ones)
niacinamide (helps tighten pore appearance and just helps in every single way)
soothing serum (centella asiatica to overall help the skin!)
moisturiser!
/ i hope this helps!
