Fresh's Theme: YOO I'LL TELL U WUT I WANT SO TELL ME WH Swap: FML
art source comes from here, fic made by @gaylordscooter
[IMAGE ID: A digital drawing of Swap Sans, visibly tense and hiding behind a broken wall. The wall is an almost-grey blue, the background is a slightly bluer and darker grey, Blue's background color is blue, and Swap's outlines are a paler version of his background. Behind the wall are rainbow all-capitilized words that switch color each line break. The words read "YOO I'LL TELL U WUT I WANT SO TELL ME WH", the words a reference to the beginning lyrics in Wannabe by Spice Girls. The rainbow words are cut off by the bottom of the broken wall. Swap's thought bubble background is his outline colour, while his speech bubble font color is colored in his background color. His thought bubble just reads "FML" in all caps. END ID]

I get people being sympathetic to the Rat grinders, I really do, but the way people will out right lie about canon to make the Bad Kids the villains. The Rat Grinders are kids, they're being groomed by charismatic and dangerous teachers who they trusted, they're corrupted by rage so they're not thinking straight. At the end of the day, that makes them cultists, pitiable and sympathetic, but still villains who are perfectly willing to create a hell on earth for the plan.
I've seen posts condemning the bad kids for killing the rat grinders, I've seen posts calling the Bad Kids bullies this season, I've seen posts that blame the Bad Kids for the whole thing saying the rat grinders are just kids who are being tricked. It's all bullshit, whatever your headcanons, whatever your feelings on the Rat Grinders, they're not the good guys here and are very much the villains this season.
The bad kids killed the 3 of the rat grinders this fight, Ivy, Oisin, and Ruben. No, they didn't stop to try and reach out to them, to try and make them see the light. The Rat Grinders are trying to condemn a whole town to become the domain of a the new god of rage and murder a goddess to usurp her domain. They are high level with the capacity to cast 9th level spells regardless of their hp, with two epic level pc's with super abilities that normal class features don't cover. If the Bad Kids hesitated they would be dead, they knew that, the Rat grinders tried to murder them little over an hour ago. They've hated the bad kids for years and now decided to make their vendetta known, they fucked around and found out.
Which leads me to my second point, the Bad Kids are not bullying the Rat grinders. They're not pleasant to the rat grinders, but you don't have to be nice to the people who hate you. Other than Fig, who I will admit was messed up with how she treated Ruben this year, but also the Rat Grinders did something similar, they were just bad at it, the Bad Kids mostly ignored the Rat grinders. The worst thing the other bad Kids do to the Rat Grinders is make fun of Kipperlily's name, that's it. They don't even do it in front of other students, unless they legitimately forget her name, other than that it's only in front of each other or not other students like Alewyn or Jawbone. It's not great, but that is literally all they have done.
The Rat grinders however, have done all they could to make themselves enemies of the Bad Kids. Ivy was a mean racist bitch who helped steal the cloudrider engine and place pingpong balls all over seacaster manor for the plan. Ruben tried to get the bad kids to take drugs knowing it would get them in trouble. He intentionally had frosty fair held at Gorgug's home to corrupt it, putting not only Gorgug's family in danger but countless other people. Sure Jace had a hand in that, but at best Ruben was an accomplice. Buddy was a smug creep who vandalized Kristen's locker, threatened her brother, and demeaned her and her goddess, without being corrupted by rage. Mary Ann legitimately didn't do anything wrong this season she was just there and did her best on the field as she was supposed to (not even saying this as a joke, she has literally done nothing bad on screen so it's hard to judge her like the rest). But Oisin tried to honey pot Adaine the first week of school, stole the cloudrider engine and the pingpong ball trap, and sent a whole pack of dragons on them to murder them and hundreds of other kids. Kipperlily has been goading the bad kids since the first day of school, she has tried every dirty trick to try and win. She has murdered people, not even people affiliated with the bad kids, but people like Buddy who was on her side, she's tried to murder the bad kids or at least make sure it's harder for them to come back to life if they die, she's stolen from them, she's tried to kill them, she's done everything bad the fans have accused the bad kids of but worse.
And that's just the Rat Grinder's individually. Why are the Bad Kids monsters for killing dangerous people who have tried to kill them, but the Rat Grinders aren't? The Rat Grinders literally tried to commit mass murder of their school a little more than an hour. 500 students of the Aguefort adventuring academy were in Seacaster manor when it was brought into the sky and beset by dragons. 500 innocent bystanders, almost all children, half of them younger than both parties.
I'll get to the rage stars in another post, but I just want to finish this off with, the Rat Grinders are kids, kids who are being groomed by evil men and corrupted by magic. But the Bad Kids are just kids too. They're kids who have been specifically targeted by the rat grinders. The rat grinders started this feud, the Bad Kids retaliated and were better at it. If you're going to take a shot at the king you better not miss, and the rat grinders have been missing their shots this whole season. I don't get why people are blaming the bad kids for trying to save the world but it pisses me off. I apologize for the rant but the tag is for everyone

Hey! Just wanted to say I really like your art style from what I've seen!
I also saw you were talking about JudgeZero a bit and liked my JudgeZero art and was curious on if you had any hcs about them at all? If not it's okay, i just personally enjoy them a lot
omg tysm! And yes, of course I have headcanons about JudgeZero<33 they’re like my otp now bro❤️🌸
Ship info log:
Ship name: JudgeZero
Characters: Dina Angela Clark (Judge Angels) and Alice Maria Jackson (Zero)
Type: Lesbian/Sapphic (homosexual)
Type of couple: Currently dating
Gender/Sexuality of Judge Angels: Cisgender female (She/her), Pansexual.
Gender/Sexuality of Zero: Demi-girl (She/they), Lesbian.
Headcanons for Judge Angels (Dina Angela Clark) x Zero (Alice Maria Jackson)
Dina is 19 years old, and Zero is 21 years old.
At a party at the pasta house (for some fancy ass event or whatever)- After Dina got her man’s stolen (Helen) by Puppeteer, Zero (nurse Ann’s bestie), saw Dina standing in the middle of the room with a cup of punch all alone, looking upset. Zero got a bit worried about her, and walked over to Dina and asked if she wanted to dance, from there, they started dating💅❤️
Dina likes Zero’s funny, Loud, crazy personality and style, and finds it entertaining and comforting.
Zero likes to call Dina things like: Angel, Judge, Angela, Ms.Clark, Darling, Sweetheart, Love, Princess, and more
HELP I GOT CUPCAKE FROESTING ON MY SHIRT AND IT STAINED MY LIPS IM ALSO TAKINT A SHIT WHILST WRITING THESE LMAOOOO
Zero = Top💪🏻🖤 / Dina = Bottom🩷🎀 (💀help idk)
Zero finds Dina cute and sweet. Because she is!!!
nurse Ann has never felt so betrayed in her life. But her and Zero are still the bestest of friends!
Nurse Ann is definitely going to beat the shit out of Dina for stealing her bestie 💀
Zero doesn’t really get involved with Angels and Ann’s arguments and fights, but she’ll try to stop it sometimes. Especially when it gets too serious or if she’s around.
They’re both surprisingly good at dancing with each other. Their like…fucking in sync ballerinas that were meant to be together… Zero is like a black swan and Dina is like a white swan bro
In my future au they get married and live a long happy life together<3 also in the future au, Dina wears glasses and longer more ethereal dresses.
Zero isn’t really afraid to take her own risks, but Dina is a bit worried about Zero being so reckless most of the time.
zero is romantic ash ngl
Keep in mind that I don’t have a lot of hcs of them….YET… :)
Zero can pick up Dina easily. And Dina will usually get flustered when she does that.
Zero surprisingly knows a lot about Dina’s fashion style and what she likes to wear, so sometimes she’ll buy (or steal) cute dresses from stores for Dina to wear!
Zero is oddly calm around Dina.
How they met/starting Dating:
There was a party for an event at the Slendermansion one night, everyone was all dressed up, and talking. Judge Angels has had some feelings for her best friend, Bloody Painter for a while now. And she decided to go and ask him out. She had got a cup full of punch, and went over to Helen. However, One of Helen’s best friends, Puppeteer, beat Angels to him. Judge Angels silently watched as Bloody Painter and Puppeteer kissed, she was afraid this would happen. She didn’t even know why she was going to try to tell Helen her feelings about him, when she had already known that Puppeteer and Helen liked each other. Angels felt like she was going to cry, but she just couldn’t, at least not in front of the whole mansion…
Nurse Ann and Zero were talking to each other, as they usually did. They were best friends. It would be hella surprising if it turned out they weren’t lesbian for each other or some shit. Mid sentence, Zero stopped talking, as she looked over her shoulder to see Judge angels standing there alone, looking upset. Zero felt a bit bad for her, even though Nurse Ann and Judge angels were enemies, Zero had to do something. “Hold my drink, Ann.” Zero handed her cup to Nurse Ann, who looked a tad bit confused. But all of that faded away when she realized what in the world Zero was doing. Zero walked over to Judge angels
“Hey! Wanna dance?” Zero asked Judge Angels, putting her hand out. Angels face lit up when she heard those words “Oh, Uh- Sure!” Angels responded, smiling, as she took Zero’s hand. Meanwhile, Nurse Ann was angrily watching as the two danced with each other, She’s never felt so betrayed in her life! That little angelic shit just took her best fucking friend from her? Oh no no no, Ann’s not going to let that happen. She’s not letting anything be taken away from her again.
Anyway, that’s all! I hope you like this :3 I don’t have much headcanons about JudgeZero yet, but I’m sure I’ll make way more in the future, sooooooo!!! Feel free to ask about anything else, you can even ask Creepypastas themselves! ^^ Tysm for asking!!!!

20 Questions For Fic Writers
So I was tagged by @agerefandom for this fun little game. Thanks for thinking of me! Seeing as how a lot of these questions are AO3 focused and a bunch of my agere writing is here on Tumblr, I may blend my answers a bit. Hope that's okay! Anyhow, going to pop this under a readmore so as to not clog anybody's dash. 🌙
1.) How many stories do you have on A03?
On my primary AO3 account I currently have four public works and six private works, though I've published quite a few more on the site under a different pseud. And then I have many headcanon posts/ficlets here, of course.
2.) What's your total A03 word count?
My total AO3 word count is 51,743 words (again, that is just for my primary). Comparatively, the word count for my little old blog here sits at 145,222 words! (Not including my minis, that's just my big posts.)
3.) What fandoms do you write for?
Whatever speaks to me, really! If it's something I'm a fan of, there's a good chance I've got WIPs and scraps squirreled away in my files for it. Whether those ever see the light of day is another story entirely however haha.
4.) Top 5 fics by kudos?
Going to do another split answer here—my top (public) fic over on AO3 is Being Okay. My top blog posts are regressor!Zuko, regressor!Peter Parker, regressor!Bruce Wayne with cg!Clark Kent, and regressor!Shigaraki Tomura with cg!Sako Atsuhiro.
5.) Do you respond to comments?
Always! Unless some terrible, ill-fate has befallen me (migraine or some such), I make sure to respond to people's comments.
6.) What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I believe the angstiest ending I've written is for one of my private works tbh. Whether I'm writing fanfic or original work I tend to gravitate towards themes like the loss of self and what it means to be changed. Change can be good, yes, but there's always grief there as well.
7.) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
This is a harder one to answer, given that the happiest/fluffiest stuff I write is for the blog and even then I skew towards hurt/comfort. Maybe Taako on Board? That one I tagged as fluff at least, but it's a few years old now so it isn't the greatest.
8.) Do you get hate on fics?
Mm, not particularly? I did receive a rather rude comment the other day, but I just blocked and moved along. I have received a few "kys" messages over my agere works before, though it's been awhile since the last one.
9.) Do you write smut?
Indeed I do! Though perhaps not in the most traditional sense? Flashing my ace card here. When I write smut the focus is more on the sensuality and emotions rather than the physicality of the scene since that aspect doesn't exactly appeal to me. But none of that is posted here, of course.
10.) Craziest crossover?
While I'm not against crossovers, I personally haven't written any. I've certainly come across some neat ones though!
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not in its entirety, no. Though I have had scenes and ideas clearly lifted beat for beat, with the person admitting they "saw the idea around but couldn't remember where" despite it being a small community back then. But hey, it's fanfic. They can play in the space all they like as far as I'm concerned.
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Funnily enough, I have been approached quite a few times over the years about having one fic or another translated or made into a podfic. Each time I've given the go ahead, but nothing ever came of it.
13.) Have you co-written a fic before?
No, not unless you consider rp as co-writing a fic. Which personally I feel like it counts? It is co-writing.
14.) All-time favorite ship?
Oh, a real toughie! There are so many... I enjoy Erasermic, obviously. Really any combination of the rooftops (all four of them), as I have always been one to polyship. I've been reading a lot of Kazumaji lately though. And then there are the classics that will always have me, like Vegebul.
15.) What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
All of them haha. But really, out of my fanfic WIPs I think I'd like to finish the one that's closest to being AO3 ready. Which is (perhaps unsurprisingly) a regressor!Aizawa fic. Featuring things such as quirk shenanigans, a well-meaning yet meddlesome Class 1A, and cg!Yagi. The draft is at 21,131 words, but I just can't settle on an ending.
16.) What are your writing strengths?
Probably my ability to establish the mood of a scene? I've been told I'm very good with creating things like suspense or an unsettling atmosphere in my original works (which are quite a bit darker than what I post here, naturally).
17.) What are your writing weaknesses?
While I am forever honing my craft, I feel I always struggle with endings and perhaps always will. Also, I worry over my dialogue not sounding natural enough, or not having nailed the correct character voice. Pacing is another thing that I tend to fuss over quite a bit and tweak constantly. And I tend to operate in a cyclical manner rather than a linear one, which Western culture does not particularly favor.
18.) Thoughts on dialogue in another language?
This is pretty situational imo. If the POV character doesn't understand the other language, I tend to focus on how the words are being spoken (gently, harshly, etc.) to convey the meaning/emotion. However if it is something they speak, then I tend to indicate in another way the language they are using has changed (so typically through italics and dialogue tags). But some words and phrases don't necessarily have a one-to-one counterpart in English, and so those should be kept as is.
19.) First fandom you wrote in?
The first fandom I wrote for was Batman, I do believe. Published my first drabble of a fic over on ff.net when I was somewhere in the ballpark of 13ish. It was pretty agere adjacent, too. Iirc it was a little fluff piece with Bruce and Dick centered around the concept of bedtime.
20.) Favorite fic you've written?
Wish I could tell you, but it's a secret! As for my posts though, I think one of my favorites is my regressor!Cody Walsh, or maybeee my regressor!Okuta Kagero. I'm also very fond of my cg!Gildarts Clive post, though all of my creative works hold a special place in my heart.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
@zombiethingy tagged me right when I was about to exit tumblr to work on my final paper for this class and because I am a procrastinator, I'm doing it 😇
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
...136 (but to be fair that includes all of my one shot requests and microfics)
2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 597,089. I wanted to reach 750k by the end of the year, but I just don't think that's gonna happen and that is OKAY!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Stranger Things only. I know in my heart I probably could go back and write some Stucky things, but with what time?
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
call me sunshine, send me to space (chaptered)
i thought we were more, why aren't we more? (ficlet request)
one little nugget (chaptered)
it brought us here (ficlet request)
it led me to you (chaptered)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! Sometimes I only have the spoons for emojis, but I do always respond. I want people to know I see their comments and appreciate them 💖
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Any of the works in the my heart has changed, my soul has changed series. I definitely want to continue that series, but life is angsty enough right now.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
ALL OF THEM. Truly can't write things that don't end happy or at least very very hopeful.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Uh nope. I have moderated comments turned on though, so I think that deters any hateful comments, and I have literally only ever gotten one negative comment on a headcanon post on tumblr and just blocked them. Here for a good time, not to please everyone.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yeah. I laugh because I started writing in January and was like "I can't write smut" and then by March I had a fic started that was rated E for extra sex. Incredible what a little time on this website does to the brain. It's just whatever fits the moment.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Hard no.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of. I'm pretty open about encouraging people to write their own versions of my stuff, but if I ever see a direct copy and paste it's on sight.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I'm aware of? I really don't think any of them except for maybe call me sunshine would even be considered popular enough for that lmao
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No, it makes me nervous. I always think everyone who I speak to on the regular is worlds more talented than I am and that I would be the deadweight in the group project (despite always being the leader of every school and work group project I've ever done). I wouldn't necessarily say no in the future with the right person!
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Steddie, though Stucky was it for me from like 2012-2022 and I do still love them so much.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I really only work on one thing at a time, but I still want to write a part 2 to two request ficlets. They deserve the story being continued, but I don't know for sure when that will happen.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Strengths? What are those? I can lift my body weight, does that count? Okay, ummmm, writing strengths I guess would be finding ways to write these two idiots so in love in any situation. I will always always find a way to make them be in love.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I'll be kind to myself and narrow it down to two things: Environment descriptions. I can see it in my mind, but can I put it into words? No. Somehow still getting so carried away?! Genuinely don't know how I manage to not describe a lot of things and still describe too much.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
It's very difficult since I don't actually know any other language. I really don't do it unless it is absolutely necessary and I usually warn that I use Google Translate (which is not accurate).
19. First fandom you wrote for?
The first I published for was Stranger Things. The first I wrote stupid little things that I immediately deleted was Captain America/Marvel.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
I have to say I am so so proud of call me sunshine, send me to space. Not just because it's what's been most popular, but because I went so far outside my comfort zone to write and post it. It was the first time I felt like I had truly developed a universe for these characters and it's just a nice story.

20 19 questions for writers
tagged by @i-mybrunettelady!! ty nero :3c
tagging dama my friend dama @sylvaridreams
1. how many works do you have on ao3?
th. three.
2. what fandoms do you write for?
exclusively gw2 these days!
3. what are your top 5 by kudos?
i've only got the three published on ao3, so in order of most to least kudos is: forgive us, visions of the past: the departing, and HOW TO BUILD A CHAIR (THIS COULD BE GLORY) !
4. do you respond to comments?
yeas :•]
5. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
hmm! how to come back from the dead
6. what is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
i would say all the gift fics i've written have pretty happy endings!
7. do you get hate on fics?
no. also how is that even a thing still
8. do you write smut? if so, what kind?
no, but i love to talk about ocs fucking creepy and wetstyle on discord with friends. if i were to write dedicated smut i think it would be a series of oneshots from my commander's pov. it's not harley's fault he has so much weird and freaknasty yet incredibly story-relevant sex. pussy that launched a thousand plots.
9. do you write crossovers?
once ☝️ when i was younger and on ff.net i wrote a SYOC pokemon/pjo crossover. it's been abandoned for years. poor thing.
10. have you ever had a fic stolen?
not to my knowledge
11. have you ever co-written a fic before?
yes! we haven't worked on it in a hot minute, but @hawkepockets and i have a fic about harley and prem's historic falling out pre-personal story, featuring our many headcanons about divinity's reach and the events surrounding the great collapse :]
Tumblr media
12. what's your all-time favorite ship?
HARLEY/TRAHEARNE/GIL THE OT3 OF ALL TIME !
13. what's one WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
ummm i have a wip called "lessons learned" and it was supposed to be a series of 2nd-person vignettes from the pov of the sylvari commander. expanding more on early personal story and how being raised/mentored by caithe and trahearne kind of fucked them up. whose bright idea was it to let miss "i will walk on my knees for a hundred miles through the desert repenting" and mister "i want to martyr myself so bad it makes me look stupid" take a crack at the young and impressionable sapling anyway. now look at them. they're pushing aurene to meet the same unreasonable standards because it's the only way they know how to live. generational trauma fic. you know how it is.
14. what are your writing strengths?
give me a STRUCTURE! give me a set of RULES! if you say "here is a strict format you MUST follow" i will say "YESSIRRRR" and i will think inside of that box so hard and i will do it so good. i don't break rules but by god i'll bend them within an inch of their life. also i'm funny
15. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Tumblr media
more of it now and forever
16. first fandom you wrote for?
pjo high school au
17. favorite fic you've written?
due to recency bias, my fave fic is always the one i worked on last. rn it's my wip "how to make coffee"!
18. what are your writing weaknesses?
the fact that i don't do it. my turnaround time is abysmal there's like a minimum two years waiting period in between everything i publish :[ also according to my boyfriend just now he says sometimes i don't explain things enough. sometimes i expect the audience to know what kind of broth i'm making but i haven't thrown them enough bones. and i don't realize this bc the broth is already cooked in my head. it's obvious to me but not to them.
19. have you ever had a fic translated?
i've had someone ask once if they could translate my fic, but they also wanted to repost it to a different website. so i turned them down. sharing is fine, but i'm just not comfortable with my writing being reposted somewhere else even with credit.

Fic author interview! Let's see what that sets rolling in my head. Maybe even some words for fic? Thank you @lynne-monstr <3
No-pressure tagging: @narina-vhey @dragonpyre @theloneliestshipper
How many works do you have on AO3?
Currently 26 after I went on a bit of an orphaning (and deletion) spree last year.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
397,281. Also a victim of last year, I guess, but I'm getting back there. I kinda hope to find the time to raise that to 500k and feel good with what I've written but we'll see.
3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Hence begins the journey (part 4 of the vampire Percy series I'm writing) - 598
The Ferryman (potc) - 474
Negotiator's Garden (star wars OS) - 414
Of New Beginnings (part 1 of the vampire Percy series I'm writing) - 344
Far Dawn (part 3 of the vampire Percy... well, you can guess it) - 307
Well, I'm seeing a pattern here is all I'm saying. I'm also wistfully staring at the Ferryman because, well, that's no longer my baby because it's too old for that but that fic has been with me for a while and looking at it now I really want to get around to officially finishing it someday. It's also hilarious to see that Star Wars oneshot up there but I guess vaguely fae Obi-Wan is a fun premise. Fond memories writing that one.
4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I do. There are a few comments in my inbox that are a bit of a pile of shame right now but generally I respond to comments because I love talking about the fic I share. Like that one post so eloquently put it: I write for myself, I share for a feeling of community. Or something like that.
5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Ooof, that's a tough question because I don't like angsty endings with a few rare exceptions. I think the closest I got online can aspire to vaguely ominous (as in hinting at Order 66) but that's not much, is it?
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Another tough question because I don't go darker than bittersweet for endings I write so, in a way, they're all more or less happy endings? Hmm, I would say maybe No Doubt In Us (TKA canon divergence) bc a) it's actually finished and b) the characters worked hard for their ending and got it.
7. Do you write crossovers?
Not as often as I'd like to and somehow I never get around to finishing them.
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
One or two unhappy comments when I wrote Obi-Wan as bisexual (I mean, come on, look at the guy. He's supposed to be straight?) because how dare I write him like that but that's about it.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Rarely and somehow usually as a gift for one person or another. Curious.
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not apart from those mass-stealing incidents where lots of fic got copied to other sites and all that. At least not that I know of.
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I think ten years ago or so someone wanted to translate one of my fics into russian but I honestly can't remember what came of that.
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yes, actually, with the wonderful @theloneliestshipper and with @narina-vhey but overall I prefer to write on my own because I got my own approach, time limitations and all in all it just became too stressful.
13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
I don't have one. On further thought, I don't think I'd be happy having an all-time favourite. I prefer that to stay in constant flux.
14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Oh, that's difficult. Stuff from the pile of shame, probably, so i'll pass on this answer^^
15. What are your writing strengths?
I am told that I manage to keep the characters in character but I think my favourite thing that one person pointed out was that I am good at building connections between canon tidbits to make up new canon divergences and headcanons.
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
Since my favourite topic is canon divergence, most of my plotbunnies have a tendency to turn into longfic which, as we all know, is not that easy to finish.
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I could read this question in two ways but I think it means writing dialogue in a different language than the general narration and, no, just no. I don't automatically pass on a fic for that if it's using phrases from a conlang in moderation but usually it's just far more confusing than enriching the experience for me.
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Oh, hmm. I'm not sure. The first fandom stuff I did online was for Yu-Gi-Oh and Detective Conan, I think. First fanfic was probably some OC for some high fantasy novel or other.
19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
Polymachina (I'm getting there) and zjl/xby/szp for King's Avatar.
20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written
I can't choose but the whole vampire Percy series has some of my favourite moments I've written, so I'll go with that one.

Writer Asks
Tagged by @yallemagne (thank you<3) ages and ages ago... Inspired to answer because I just published a fic and feel good about it hjejejfjj
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Undisclosed amount xD I've put a bunch on anon, especially from fandoms I'm not active in anymore (lbr, mostly Endeavour). Publically, it's 26 rn.
2. What's your total ao3 word count?
212040!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Elisabeth, hopefully in the future Tanz der Vampire (I've been thinking about it for like five years), in the past Endeavour (TV).
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
They're all Endeavour because those are older and in a (slightly) bigger fandom... Unfortunately I think they're not the best ones I've written, a lot of them were when I was 18 (no offense to 18 year olds) and had just started writing fanfic ajajjjd. Which is why the top 5 are on anon except for one LOL. I really do think kudos doesn't tend to accumulate "correctly" xD People like familiar tropes and time of posting also affects it, there are many fics of mine I consider "underrated"
My top five kudosed Elisabeth fics are: black as the earth (shortened title), Flights of Angels (todolf longfic), Dominion, Midnight Man & Starwalk. tbh deserved...
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, I try to respond to every single one of them so people will hopefully comment in the future too, especially if they're kind, funny or thought-provoking!!! However, I delete them if I don't like them or they're weird, boundary-crossing or TMI ahdjfjjf (has happened a handful of times - the joys of writing explicit stuff lol. PSA: do not tell fic authors about your sexual activities in the comments, i do not consent...)
6. What's the fic you wrote that has the angstiest ending?
I often do bittersweet, or "sweet but also has Implications" >:] Oh and I guess there's a lot of them where Rudolf dies at the end... I think the actual angstiest might be No Forevers (Endeavour fic) even though nobody dies in that one. Though I ruined it by writing a sequel to it, after the showrunner wrote one of the characters back into the show after like 10 years xD In my defense, this wasn't my idea!!!
7. What's the fic you wrote that has the happiest ending?
Beams of Morning (Endeavour). I retconned one of my own DIY bittersweet endings whoops... 🤣🤣😭 It's sappy, even, but maybe that's allowed. For elisabeth it's Flights of Angels because the happiest happy endings are ones that feel deserved.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No - I've gotten hate for my headcanons/meta and my video essays though (never to my face ;D) which can be fic adjacent. I guess it's because there's a better tagging system with fic, like, people won't be exposed to stuff they don't want to see as readily as with tumblr and youtube etc. And people also know how to leave other ppl alone!! Ajdjjfjf
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes. The unpleasantly sexy kind 👀
10. Do you write crossovers?
Noooo, I don't really read them either. The kinds of crossovers I like are the ones that are crossovers "in name only"; ie. setting or tropes lifted from one work, characters/cast from another. Wildly incongruent characters showing up in each other's universes and interacting etc doesn't fit into my suspension of disbelief most of the time 😭
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Luckily no!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but I once helped someone translate theirs into English, which was cool. Oh, and recently I've been asked for permission to translate at least one of my fics - I hope it happens because it's always an honor!! >:]
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I've collaborated on series, but I haven't co-written stuff on a deeper level. I think I'm too much of a control freak to get into it ajsdjjf, I can do stuff inspired by other people and am happy if my stuff inspires other people, but if I need to agree on plot/characterisation with someone consistently I don't think it'd work out, since no two people have identical takes and preferences with stories and characters.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
For around 2.5 years it's been todolf, it captures a lot of stuff I've liked in fiction for a longer time already >:D I can't really say whether it will be the Ship of a Lifetime for me... I mean it did make me move countries (as one reason of a few) but if someone asked me in the summer of 2016 I would've probably said [checks ao3 reading history] um. h*milton x j*fferson... so like. IT CHANGES A LOT OK ajajsjdj
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?
I don't want to doom any of my current wips to the graveyard!!!!!! I am having worries about the fate of my todolf swan lake modern ballet au fic though. The original draft outline is complete but it doesn't really fit my character interpretations for tod or rudolf anymore, it's from january 2022... Idk maybe I can one day rework it somehow with different characterisations ajsjdjf but yeah mostly it's interesting concepts haphazardly tied together but no coherent plot
16. What are your writing strengths?
Imagination/coming up with ideas, metaphors, descriptions (usually), grammar and syntax, writing crown prince rudolf really well (XDD), rhythm/pacing (usually), the way it Sounds (my brain sometimes fixates on phonetics randomly because after all, English is not my first language, and sometimes there'll be like, a really pleasing/satisfying combination of sounds in smth I think to write and I think I'm good at picking up on that, like how it flows and sounds. Idk if those preferences are universal though or if it's just me writing what I think sounds pleasing)
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Writing varied characters, writing varied speech patterns/"character voice" also in narration, vocabulary.... I am but a humble English as a second technically third language speaker,,,, (i'm doing an english language grad school degree rn lol so i think i'm no worse than natives, not humble abt this actually, but i'm on the level of like. a not so well-read native speaker. Because most actual fiction literature I've read in my life has been in Finnish, in English I've just read academic literature, fanfic and like 10 books max! I need to read more and become a better writer ahhdhhdhf)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
No... Dialogue is a big no from me, it often feels cringe ngl ajsjdjdj. My personal philosophy is "if you need a translator's note for people to understand what's going on, don't put it in" 😅 A lot of the time different languages are also used in fic in nonsensical ways where it will look ok to a lot of people but bother the hell out of native speakers/ppl who speak the language. This is smth that can technically be done well but it's usually not aksldlldd. I think pet names and individual words can be fine but it needs to be done in moderation... I also obsess a lot over research, like, the nuances of the word need to actually mean what the author thinks it means :'D
19. First fandom you wrote for?
First published for Endeavour, first wrote for H*rry P*tter... (never-to-be-published fan comics and little stories as a young kid, like 8 years old).
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Right now it's vers l'onde souterraine... ;) I think I'm constantly improving as a writer and hopefully every fic will be better than the last!!

Fic Writer 20 Questions
I was tagged by @texasdreamer01 😊
1.) How many works do you have on ao3
9, though some of them are only visible if you're logged in.
2.) What's your ao3 word count?
64,757, not a lot but there's nothing wrong with that.
3.) What fandoms do you write for?
Star wars, lots of Star Wars. I think I wrote for Yuri!!! On Ice before? I used to write for Marvel, I did a little bit of Phantom of the Opera (very little), I have some unpublished Avatar the Last Airbender fics, and I am currently writing for Our Flag Means Death 🤭 I hope around depending on what I feel/am hyperfixating on, but ultimately it always comes back to Star Wars.
4.) What are your top five pics by kudos?
Fighting For Your Power - one of my first published Star Wars fics. Definitely not my favorite and also unfinished, a common occurrence with my ever changing brain.
If I Could Hold You For a Minute (Darling, I'd do it Again.) - Codywan. A little hurt comfort thing that takes place after the Rako Hardeen incident
Orbital Decay - another Codywan fic, probably my longest posted fic at this point in time.
And cowboy is his name - a short little bobadin cowboy au that I'm thinking of adding more onto, whether it's little snippets or an actual story is to be seen.
To Be A Good Soldier - a Commander Cody fic, kinda my own little headcanon as to how he got his scar.
5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I do, it just takes me a while to get there. I'm always a little slow on the up taking. I reply to comments because someone took a brief moment of their time after reading my story to let me know their thoughts, and it means the world to me, so the least I can do is respond to their comments.
6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
A fic that no longer is on AO3 🙈 I took it down after a couple years of like....no one reading it, and decided to keep it to myself, like a dragon. The story is hurt comfort without any of the comfort lol. Poor poor Garashir, doomed by the narrative and also me.
7.) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oooooh let me think. Recently they all have happy endings because I myself need one. Uhhhhhh. Probably Orbital Decay. My babies get together very tentatively at the end.
8.) Do you get hate on fics?
Ehhh my fics don't get seen by a wide enough audience I think. The only 'hate' I've ever gotten was someone demanding me tag something, but it wasn't even very hateful so. No I guess not.
9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Once upon a long time ago, but I haven't in ages and frankly it makes me uncomfortable to write, always has.
10.) Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I don't, it's not something that holds my interest.
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of...😳
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
No sir-y
13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Yes and no? It's a collaborative fic, but I'm not the one writing it, I just had the base idea and give more ideas for the concept and squeal and cry over it.
14.) What's your all time favorite ship?
It changes with the tides, but how can I pick one set of my beloveds over another?
15.) What's a WIP you'd like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
All of them. Lol uhh I really really wanna get the Codywan AU fic written, but I'm at a point where I currently don't have it in me, I don't have much writing in me at all right now.
16.) What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue. I love dialogue. I've also been told, and I have to trust what people tell me, that I'm very descriptive and also know how to write a fight scene.
17.) What are your writing weaknesses?
Lack of confidence in my skills. Inability to finish what I've started. Making sure I'm keeping people in character, and also I tend to lack in the plot department.
18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Well, I think so long as you...ugh this one is tricky cause I don't know how to phrase it. I like to write in other languages in very very small doses. A little smattering here and there. But also, I feel like it's important to know the language you're writing in or consult someone who does for accuracy? Idk how to explain it.
19.) First fandom you wrote for?
Marvel. Marvel. And more Marvel. I had a very long story (with no actual plot) posted to a different site, and then took to writing people's requests for Marvel ship fics for a time.
20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?
Uhhh idk To Be a Good Soldier? I'm not entirely sure. Maybe it will be the little OFMD fic idea I had, but who knows.
Softly nudging @poibynt @missypup @frostbitebakery and anyone else who might like to do this

20 Questions for Fic Writers
@amethystunarmed tagged me for this!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
I've currently got 25 works on there.
2. What’s your total word count?
161, 391! which...wow, that number hits me every time I look at it. I can’t believe I’ve written a whole novel’s length of fanfic this year.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly Hatchetfield and Deltarune, but especially Hatchetfield. The silly little horror-comedy musicals (especially the LiB and Paul) have grabbed me and won’t let go. To the detriment of my WIPs in other fandoms. Oh, and I’ve also written a decent amount of fic for Spiderverse and Dracula! (Our good friend Jonathan Harker, after all.)
4. Top 5 fics by kudos
pas de masque - a pre-canon Spiderverse fic focusing on Gwen's terrible experiences in the Spider-Society, and just what it's like to learn you're doomed in every other universe, and that no one will let you stop it.
The Show Must Go On - a fun little theatre AU for Deltarune, where Susie's been arrested, and the only way for her to not be arrested is to join a club. She chooses theatre, which Noelle is coincidentally the director of. Romance, friendship, and theatre chaos ensues. (also, I LOVE writing Kris in this fic.) It's the fic I've been working on the longest.
what is a god? - my exploration of the Lords in Black, and how they think and treat Hatchetfield and their puppets, written at 12 am after finishing Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Despite that, I’m still pretty proud of it!
used to think about you (everywhere i go) - a post-canon Nimona (movie-verse) fic, in which Nimona gets to work out her complex feelings about Gloreth by standing at her grave. Sometimes therapy is yelling at your ex-bestie's grave, more at 11.
one hell of a normal abnormality - a fic where I wrote Pete actually seeming to care that Ruth and Richie weren't there at Homecoming, with a decent exploration of grief and feeling guilty. Also, I think I was the first one to use the green-hair-after-being-touched-by-Wiggly headcanon.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes, of course! I love comments - you read my whole chapter/fic, and you liked it enough to post your reaction! Amazing, I love you, I would literally die for some commentors.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oh, this is hard. Most of the fic I write is angst, so tough to pick. I'd say the real competition is between life underground (it's over now) and always be my favourite ghost. But if I had to choose, it would be the first one, because that ends with Chara literally ripping up their adoption certificate, and thinking they’ll never be a part of the Dreemurr family. And we all know what happens next. :(
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Oh, this one’s pretty easy. like real people do. It’s a short, canon divergent one shot I wrote for a podcast, Monstrous Agonies that I was super into - even submitted a couple of letters to the podcast I was pretty proud of. It ends with the characters sort-of rekindling their relationship, after accidentally broadcasting them kissing through the radio. It actually managed to predict a decent amount of the actual finale, too!
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Thankfully, I haven't gotten any yet. Hoping that that streak continues.
9. Do you write smut?
Ha! No. And it's probably not going to happen for a long time, if ever. I'm apparently a bit of a nerdy prude myself. I have written at least one fic that's only plot was two characters kissing, though.
10. Do you write crossovers?
I haven’t yet! Maybe someday.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Also, no. Benefits of being a smaller fic writer, I guess.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope! But if that ever happens to me, I'm gonna scream
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not yet! I was thinking of co-writing a Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes fic with a friend in real life, though. It was a really good movie, but I haven't made a lot of progress on it.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
You know, I'm really not sure? I mostly read gen fic, but for shipping? I'd have to say probably Noelle/Susie, or Paul Matthews/Emma Perkins? It really depends on the day - I'll read a lot of ships.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
None so far! My WIPs currently are probably going to take a long time, but I plan to finish all of them. Outlines may be bad, but I am determined!
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm really good at internal monologues. And along with that, characterization! I get a lot of really sweet comments about it, and I do like writing character-focused pieces! Which is kind of ironic, given that worrying about writing characters wrong was a pretty big reason I didn’t start writing again until this year.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Dialogue. Oh my god, every time I try to write snappy dialogue, I have new appreciation for comedians and dialogue-heavy writers. Those people are so talented. Sometimes I act out dialogue I’ve written and I want to throw myself into the sun.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
Look. I took French for five years. But every time I try to speak French, one of my best friends looks like she wants to fight me. I am not great at languages other than English. I am positive that if I tried to write dialogue by myself, I would just resort to DeepL, or Google Translate, and nobody wants that. If I have to write in another language, I'm going to try and get a translator.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Are we counting works posted to ao3, or first fic ever? Because the first fic I ever posted to ao3 was for a podcast, Spirit Box Radio, that I should really relisten to at some point. But my first fandom I ever wrote for was Gravity Falls - the fic's still posted to Quotev, and I have reread it recently. It was a next-generation fic.
...At least younger me was having fun?
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
How dare you ask me to pick? But seriously, probably pas de masque. I know it's cliche to say my most kudos'd fic, but I am super proud of my characterization of Gwen there, and getting to play with pre-canon Spider-Society and what it's like for someone to know they're doomed by the narrative in every other universe.
Okay, who do I know? @acaciapines, @nonbinarycollector, @sherbetflowers, @littlesilentrebel, @am-i-lie, @lilacthebooklover, @noelle-holi-gay, @marvelmaniac715! Please don't feel pressured to respond if you don't want to!

20 questions for fic writers
tagged by my wife @dxppercxdxver (although I really don't consider myself a fic writer these days lmao)
1. how many works do you have on ao3?
5 (and 2 orphaned)
2. what’s your total ao3 word count?
22,856
3. what fandoms do you write for?
considering I have at maximum 2 fics per fandom. you could say none! although my most popular fics were broadchurch and good omens
4. what are your top 5 fics by kudos?
the first is an orphaned batman/joker fic (does anyone remember that era of this blog? I'm so sorry lmao)
she - broadchurch
i love to live so pleasantly (lazing on a sunny afternoon) - good omens
Blueberry - IT (2017) (an incredibly cringe fic I wrote as a teenager for the love of god please don't read this)
i just want to be held (by your cold hands) - broadchurch
5. do you respond to comments? why or why not?
occasionally! if there's something that like. needs a response I do try to give them but otherwise I am very bad at getting back to comments. I do read and appreciate them all though!
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
it's the IT one tagged above lmao due to the like. 15/16 year old me projecting. I'm not very good at writing angst!
7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
probably either of the broadchurch fics due to. trans joy and also gay domesticity
8. do you get hate on fics?
not actively? during my batman/b*tjokes years (bearing in mind I was about 14) I used to get occasional hate on tumblr due to trans/gay headcanons but that wasn't necessarily fic related. I also once had a pretty big b*tjokes writer comment on an old fic (like three or four years after I'd written it, when I was no longer In The Fandom) claiming I'd stolen their ideas and needed to either remove my work or credit them despite. only having read a few of their works very briefly. the work of mine in Question being a prompt fill. and me just following a lot of the trends of the fandom at the time? like sorry you don't actually have a trademark on hurt/comfort sick fics buddy it's a Fairly Popular Concept. anyway yeah that's about it.
9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?
nope <3 I've never tried and frankly I don't think I'd be very good at getting any ideas I have Across in a way that reads as sexy or hot enough to warrant actually writing it lmao
10. do you write crossovers? what’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I don't think I've fully written or published any crossovers, however! every character I've ever liked has been thrown into a killjoys au in my brain at one point or another (including but not limited to: the scooby doo gang, the penumbra pod gang, the eos 10 gang, Cecil and Carlos wtnv, ect). myself and jon plotted a whole magnus archives/mst3k au that I Wish one of us had written, and another mst3k/the mechanisms au that started as a joke and become so insanely important to us it sincerely helped us get together as a couple. we also had an overall eos10/penumbra podcast crossover that I personally never wrote anything for but I think jon Started some unpublished fics that never got finished.
11. have you ever had a fic stolen?
not as far as I know!
12. have you ever had a fic translated?
again, i dont beliebe so, but people are more than welcome to do so as long as im credited ofc
13. have you ever co-written a fic before?
I class at least the first of my broadchurch fics as partially co-written with Jon bc he was a Huge Help in that fic getting written, and as you might be able to tell from above we've Plotted a lot of fic ideas together (another includes a very goofy villain-decay bill cipher gravity falls fic) but basically none of them ever actually get written
14. what’s your all time favourite ship?
argh I can't choose one all time favourite. jonmartin themagnusarchives are insanely dear and important to me, jongerry / jonmartingerry are closely behind that. poly scooby doo gang. vince/howard from the mighty boosh. these are all just sentimental ships if I'm honest. also I became ridiculously attached to mine and Jon's crackship of jonny d'ville themechanisms / Mike mst3k
15. what’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
honestly I'm kind of past the point of hoping to get back into writing due to. complete lack of willpower. but I wish I'd gotten round to writing the third trans Hardy fic I had planned at one point </3
16. what are your writing strengths?
idk!! I think I'm good at capturing like. very specific moments of domesticity and comfort. and I think when I'm imagining A Scene I'm quite good at getting the vibes of that scene across. but other than that I'm really not sure
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
oh god uhh. actually writing. linking scenes together. Plot other than just vague "here's two characters hanging out and existing". the list goes on
18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I don't think I've actually attempted it myself? due to most characters I've written have been. incredibly British. I will say a pet peeve of mine in Reading a fic is when it is a fic in 99% English that'll have a large chunk of dialogue in another language, without a translation available somewhere for it. like a word or two is fine but if there's some actual plot in there and you're expecting me to Google translate it, that feels kind of the same as when subtitles simply say (speaking french) or whatever instead of Telling Us What They're Saying
19. first fandom you wrote for?
embarrassingly and horrifically. h*rry p*tter (I was 11)
20. favourite fic you’ve written?
it has to be she simply due to the Amount of trans love and support I got to hear about in the comments of that fic :,)
I'm not tagging anyone bc to be completely honest I don't remember which of my mutaks actively write <3

Twenty Questions for Fic Writers
Thank you so much @unmaskedcardinal for the tag!!
How many works do you have on Ao3?
29 total, but I haven't spent the time crossposting my old ff.net fics yet
2. What's your total Ao3 word count?
198,683
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Like, actively? Cause uh, I'm the kind of person who needs to finish the fic before I can post it, and so I'm currently in the process of a whole bunch of fics that I haven't yet posted. Those are Gunsmoke (radio version), MASH, Star Wars: Legends + Star Wars: prequels, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and the DCU (but more like, specifically the all media types of Batman and Superman specifically)
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Truth/Dare (revalink, college!AU, rated T)
Rainy-day Homework (ganlink, college!AU, rated G)
but when i'm alone on the longest nights, i think of you and your fairy lights (beedlink, mostly canon compliant, rated E)
Missing Memories (revalink, angst, rated T)
An Unexpected Picnic (revalink, pre-Calamity, rated G)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to! Recently I haven't been as good about keeping up with them because of my chronic illness stuff, but when I have a good day I try to get them done :) I think it's really fun to connect with people who have similar tastes as I do, and get to discuss headcanons or plot points or what have you!!
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't usually write things that end on angst, I usually aim for hurt/comfort or at least some form of hopeful ending. I've been told that Missing Memories is my angstiest fic, but I think that title is actually held by Pompeii (If You Close Your Eyes) (song fic)
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I'd say if i were to save you, would you do the same (kylux). It's the whole surviving against all odds and then looking toward the future thing, you know?
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not on Ao3, but I have on ff.net. It's been a few years since those days though!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do!! I just don't post it, for reasons related to I haven't finished the fics in question yet lol. I try to write it as a way for the characters to explore each other and connect on a different level beyond the usual grime and gore and horror of the worlds they live in.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
So. I don't have any posted yet oh no I've said this like five times by now ahh, however I have plot bunnies for a MASH/Star Wars: prequels crossover, and I just started plotting out a Gunsmoke/DCU crossover. I think the Gunsmoke/DCU one is crazier exclusively because it's a very tiny fandom for a radio/TV show from the 50's mixed with the whole Batman and Superman fandoms, which. Kind of a large set of fandoms there ngl
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I have no idea. Probably, but I haven't heard about it.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I did the 2021 Kylux Big Bang with @viraaja and the 2021 Obikin Big Bang with @skittlles !! I'd love to do more work with others at some point, genuinely wonderful experiences!
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Is it a cop out to say I just don't have one? I never really leave a fandom, even once I'm not actively writing for it, I just kind of cycle through them, so I cycle through my ships accordingly. Maybe PruCan (Hetalia), if only because they're my oldest otp??
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Well. Ideally none of them. I have every intention of eventually finishing everything I'm currently writing, hence why I refuse to post them until they're done. That said, I've been sitting on several mostly-finished fics for like three+ years without actively working on them so. We'll see.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I've been told my characterisation is really good, and I try to get as accurate a voice as I can for every character!!!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Repeating phrases and words without intending to. I used that exact word three times in like three paragraphs in a row, why am I like this!
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
Two thoughts: if you know enough of the language to have proper grammar and etc sure go for it, but also, is it being used with or without translation? If no one else is supposed to understand (besides the reader), I think that's very fun and 10/10, but if the other characters are supposed to understand and it's a lengthy bit, I think there can be other more effective ways to get that across.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Phineas and Ferb, and honestly I regret deleting those fics so so much now! I have no records of my writing from back then, and yes I found them cringe as an older teenager but now I just wish I could go back and tell my 13 year old self how far we've come.
20. Favourite fic you've written?
Whatever is most recently finished. Right now that's but when i'm alone on the longest nights, i think of you and your fairy lights :)
No pressure tags:
@viraaja @steine-druff @aeriedwelling @someguywriting @astrophilic-soul and anyone else who wants to join!

//hey donna, resident shady shopkeeper mun who recently joined the fandom last year and has stolen my attention and love for your version of this madhatter. i love having you on my dash and you just know i've followed you on all my blogs -- at least the active ones i currently run lol. you are a breath of fresh air with this urahara guy and trust i've seen so many versions this past decade but i enjoy interacting with yours a lot because you keep that lighthearted, fun yet naughty aspect of him alive and you go out of your way to invade inboxes and troll ppl and we just love that sm xD do continue doing and maybe even up it a notch lol! and it's okay if you don't write as much. just you being around when you pop on is enough to brighten most anyone's day because your muse is most always up to no good and we enjoy that a lot. keep doing what you do and here's to more shenanigans this coming year! <33
Mims, Mims, Mims. Once again you let your chains lose to become absolute and heartwarming inbox sunshine. But sit back, I have a kind bouquet of words for you too. I noticed a recent spree of your lovely profiles lurking about and following but I gladly welcomed all of them with open arms. You're so open and friendly, and you love giving your characters revolutionary development through connections, that's what I see mostly with Starrk. It makes me evenly enjoy seeing you on my dash and participate in chaos or starting some of your own (even when Akon chose to be Kisuke's chronic pain of criticism xD and Rose with Visored lowkey roasting him with whole dating thing, I cried tbh), we all live for those foot in the mouth funny moments. I am generally looking forward to my working schedule improving, so I can write properly and make my time less content-premium. *Me, scratching chin and thinking about how to put it with explaining that I am in this fandom for quite a whiiiiiiiiile but because I am a very PRIVATE and secretive person who hardly ever reveals any Infos that including tag*
Now, then about my road with Kisuke - how should I say this ... it's complicated and longer than this blog says but I still kinda prefer to refer to it as an entirely fresh and new start simply because I liked the sound of as you say new Urahara (rather than almost a decade of trolling in my partners SLs) and to be honest this blog for Kisuke was never meant to go public. It was made for private aest. inventions, headcanons that should have served a different purpose and instead of CC attached to another platform. So, how this happened I have no ideas, something had to be in the air back then. However, I was delightfully surprised to receive a feedback echo that this atypical interpretation evoked interest to the point of actually getting interactions and an unexpecting amount of love. There's no greater joy for writer and a humble, morbid Lady — to hear that their dummy scribbles are appreciated. Thank you so much, you are loved, and may 2023 bring you a lot of happiness and joy! Happy New Year! <3

My little brain worms have been thinking about Mr Cromeans with a Gn!S/O who goes out and hunts people for sport (I’m talking fancy rifles and everything) so I was wondering if I could have some headcannons on the subject ✨
A little dark yes but hey it’s Jesse
Jesse Cromeans/Chromeskull x GenderNeutral!Reader | Dark Headcanons
Hey there! I'm sorry it took me a while, I hope the brain worms are still active and you enjoy what I've done with your request - thank you for it! :') <3
notes; Gender Neutral!Reader; Murder; Dark Headcanons; Reader is a Serial Killer.
The two of you actually met because you were hunting down one of his victims that managed to run away. Both of you killed her at the exact same time - his knife impacting her when your bullet did as well - and you never managed to decide on whose kill she truly ended up being.
Instead you asked him out, full of interest, which he returned, despite disliking that you may or may not have stolen his victim from him, he liked the fire in you that you displayed and the fact that your rifle was high-class and you were an amazing shot.
As you grow closer, you both decide to make things more fun and see who could kill the most people in one week.
You end up winning, thanks to the fact that you aren't very picky about your victims - they just have to be convenient and in remote areas, where nobody would suspect a thing.
Nonetheless, Jesse wins your heart over after the competition when you sit down together to watch his snuff films and you get to admire his work on screen. He fascinates you with what he does; especially because it's so different to your hunting.
And so you beg him to let you come with him when he kills next because you want to see it happen in action, and surprisingly he agrees. It ends up being your best date night, thus far.
Another time, he also asks to come with you when you go out to hunt people, but he refuses your rifles because he likes using his hunting knifes more; and he is very good with them after all.
You almost let one of your victims go because you're so star-struck by watching Jesse throw his knife and kill someone just like that. Or when he goes up to them, towering over them, and does whatever he feels like up close with blood splattering everywhere. It's so messy, but it has so much appeal to you.
That's when you realise that you're falling in love with him, or at least something similar to love, you would say.

Wait omg, how did I not notice that you write for shadow and bone??
Okay, so obviously I’m rolling in here with a shadow and bone request now lol.
Maybe some headcanons about going from enemies (or rather: can’t stand each other but still on the same side you know) to lovers with Nikolai Lantsov and maybe a tidemaker reader?
If you don’t feel like writing this or just can’t find inspiration for it, you can totally ignore this of course! But thanks already <3
I kind of may have forgotten this existed and uh so yeah. let me try and do my best. I'm quite motivated because I really love enemies to lovers but I've never personally written anything with it so idk if this is gonna turn out good in any way lol
(they got quite long so this thing was necessary)
- Obviously you were talented. And obviously he was too. And still, even after years and years spent at the same place, scouting the same grounds, meeting the same people, neither of you were about to acknowledge that. Secretly perhaps. Yes, secretly, in thoughts and dreams while dancing at masquerade balls and sitting through court. Stolen glances, sneers and pointed coughs during long monologues.
- Yet when the time came and Nikolai had his plans set out, his drawings done, and the best of the best of Grisha on a list to involve in his doings.... He'd never admitted it, and it hurt every part of him to do so. But he had Materialki already beginning to build, Corporalki on his side whenever necessary, two Squallers and Inferni and one Tidemaker, and they all were geniuses in their fields, and still something was missing. Someone. Because they were talented, all of them. And they were the best at what they did too, at least ignoring all those that were too close to the Darkling to trust. Just one of them was lacking. One of them because when he watched you train at the lake, the only spot you could practice your powers at, and unfortunately also his favourite part of all the castle and its grounds, he couldn't stop watching you. He wasn't the only one either - no, everyone was well aware of your little talent. No matter how much anyone else tried and learned, you were simply and just the best at what you did.
- So he, too, did what he could best. And who could've said no to his little secret, to that wonderful mind of his? Not you, even though you did your best to make fun of him for at least half an hour to his face and then behind his back for another week. He heard all of it one way or another and for the sake of your own amusement you made particularly sure that he did. But you had said yes, and in a way you were quite excited.
- Working together was certainly an experience. Group work at first, with everyone on board at the same table, didn't lead to too much distress. Really it was kind of fun, bantering and shooting sarcastic comments back and forth, both a ready mind and a quick tongue. You could snort whenever you found him stupid and make him narrow his eyes while he was trying hard not to upset anyone far too much - this time, he was reliant on all of you, not the other way around. And it was such a wonderful feeling for once, so much fun that you hadn't had in years like this. Being able to snicker at what he said and then correct it in the same tone you'd use to speak to a five year old - certainly you could get used to this. If only it stayed that way.
- It did not, of course. Oh, it did not. Because after the first rough sketch was planned out and had taken on form, Nikolai began separating. Training and practising in private. You were the last one to receive such treatment - you had heard all about it from the Squallers that he'd been asking and teaching just how he wanted them to make his ship soar and fly. And even though you were certainly not looking forward to having to spend time one-on-one with him, it still injured your pride that you came last. (btw 'injur ones pride' is an actual phrase?? like why does it sound so wrong,,, my dictionary said it's right like this, then why doesn't it sound right)
- You waited your turn, impatiently in a way and wishing it would never happen in another, and when it came, somehow it was exactly what you had expected. It also was not. It was difficult to explain, but the second you stepped onto his ship, legs wobbling as the waves slowly caused it to float on top of the lake, you found yourself back in your element, the same way you had always when you were near any greater body of water. It was dark, the night sky black against the moonlight, and you could barely make out Nikolai even as he stood so close to you that you could feel his breath. It had to be this way, that's what you'd all agreed on, because there could not be commotion around something so already uncommon to see. So training began at night.
- The two of you talked as quiet and as few as you could; for two reasons, and even though the more important one probably should have been not to draw attention, it was mainly because you couldn't be bothered to do so. You had basically planned half the thing, no matter how clever Nikolai might have been with his first, incredibly glorious idea, so you knew your movements, and at some point you realised that it was actually far better to train in the dark than to do it by day. This way, if you were ever going to seriously take this ship to sea, you would be able to navigate it no matter what, you'd know every turn and every loose piece of wood or rope.
- And so you trained. And you trained and trained and trained for days and weeks and months. You had to admit that despite your very clear dislike for each other, you and Nikolai made a good match. Where you lacked strength, vision or strategy, he filled in, and when you eventually began running tests and practising as a group, with all Grisha that he'd assembled working together, it became very, very clear that you were somehow able to deal with him best. And he could deal with you best too - not that anyone needed to deal with you, really. But the nights went by in a flash, and suddenly, there was a twinkle in his eyes when you wrapped them all in a huge bubble of water, and you found yourself laughing at his jokes one time too often.
- He was a gloriously stupid bastard, that's what he was - an idiot wrapped in a sweet package, a charming prince with a cunning mind and clever thoughts. Nikolai sometimes made you want to throw yourself out of the palace windows because you couldn't figure him out. You'd despised him, and now you weren't so sure if you did anymore. That had you feeling like stabbing yourself in the gut and turning the knife twice.
- The day came when he declared his departure. And yours in a way. He did not force any of you, quite the opposite; he made sure that all of those that had trained with him were given the choice whether to stay or to come. To your own surprise and everyone else's, you were the first to agree to leave. You were surprised not because you initially wanted to stay (you'd always wanted to travel) but because it meant going with him.
- The day of the departure came and you went, with the rest of the group at your side, and him at the ship's wheel. The sea was salty and wet and better than anything you'd ever imagined - the water called to your power and made you sing, and you smiled and laughed so often and thought so few about the negative that you felt like a wholly new person. Your spirits were high, your moods even better, and for once you seemed as though you were and could just be simply you, yourself, fully. Shocking though was the fact that you began tolerating Nikolai. Or Sturmhond, as he had started calling himself the second he had unpacked his captains hat. You didn't know whether that sudden toleration was your doing or his, whether your change or his change caused it, but you couldn't quite say you were disappointed either way.
- God, he was charming and handsome and made you want to write poetry for some reason. Like a little girl, you giggled at his stupid jokes - if only by yourself because after all, you had some shred of dignity left - and found out that you could somehow very well show every side of you to him. He read you like an open book and in a way, that was very freeing.
- So perhaps, yes, at some point, you had started to not only tolerate him anymore. At some point, your heart skipped whenever he stepped into your vision (which, considering you were on a ship that was not too huge after all, was a lot of times) and your world lit up when he smiled. How this had happened you wouldn't know and wouldn't bother to find out; you enjoyed this new emotion far too much to do so, it seemed to warm you up from inside.
- The day when it would become apparent that he felt the same was barely different from all the others. But barely still means a little, and yes, this day was just a little different. You woke up to sunlight, not before dawn as you usually did, and no one had woken you up either to tell you that you were late. It seemed that Nikolai had begun handing out 'break days' whenever possible to one person, and well, you were the first to receive this honour. So perhaps it was more than just a little different, but at the same time, you seemed to do exactly what you'd done all those days before. Let the wind ruffle your hair and the sea guide your movements. Despite your earlier protests, you found yourself enjoying this lucky break.
- Then at dusk, you volunteered to do the night watch. You'd had your fair share of peace and quiet while the others had been working, so this was only fair. Nikolai for his part had decided to join you. Where you would've been more than annoyed a few weeks earlier, you were almost relieved not to be stuck with anyone else. So you smiled and kept your mouth shut for a long time, doing just, well, what you always did. Watching the stars and the sky and the water and the waves. You did not get to enjoy your alone-time as much as you would've wished to, but his sudden presence next to you at the railing didn't come as a shock. So you talked. About anything and everything, and you laughed and you wondered how you had been able to miss out on the beauty that was this man, both in physique and in character. Seriously, how had you never before noticed how attractive he was? How his eyes glinted in the moonlight, how his hair perfectly framed his face, how his cheekbones seemed to basically call for someone to run their fingers along them.
- Tonight, you were sick of morale and judgement and logic, you were sick of planning your every move and guiding by principles. Your heart pointed firmly in his direction and this time, you would listen to it, if only once, screw everything and everyone else. So you did. And when you kissed him, you knew that you'd found every missing piece, every wasted breath, every part of your soul and your mind that hadn't been whole before. The brim of his hat pushed against your forehead as he pulled you closer, and he lifted his hand only to take it off - or, perhaps not only to take it off. No, a second later, he'd placed it on your head, which clearly you hadn't seen coming. But when you dared to break the kiss, to pull back away from him, he hooked his fingers under your chin and tugged you back, and he'd do so every time you'd jokingly escape his embrace from now on.
so this just turned into a whole ass oneshot wtf- also it sounded way better while writing than editing lol

Fic writer review [Or a fic writer tag game if you prefer]
I was tagged by @shadowdianne even though I have... not too many published fics.
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
Not so many since almost 3/4 are archived but out for the public to read just 8 works.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
According to the stats page on AO3: 80438 words. Which is not too much for the people who know how much I love writing long fics, but since most published works are oneshots or 3-chapters-long then... It is what it is.
3. How many fandoms have you written for?
Honestly? A lot. I'm going to try and list them all but I can't promise anything since anxiety fucked up my memory these past few months.
I started writing Faberry and Pezberry (actually one of my favorite fics ever written by me is this last mentioned ship, it's called "stars", it's an AU and my favorite plot ever), I guessed I also sank really deep in SwanQueen, I wrote a lot for this couple and only one fic is published because I hate so many things about this fandom, especially its hypocrisy and people who only wants attention not gonna lie (sorry not sorry, I am not the first person who thinks this and won't be the last). Bechloe and Mevie came right after and found my perfect place to keep writing about them and Supercorp is the last fandom I've been in as a writer and continue to be even though nothing is published yet (don't know why, probably 'cause there's too many good fics in it already and mine won't be liked by anyone). I also write for a really small fandom who's spanish and it's called Mirieya, if anyone knows about this I'll give you a kiss on the cheek.
4. Top 5 fics by kudos?
Surprisingly enough (not really, I knew this was happening), my top 5 fics by kudos are from the Descendants fandom and are the next ones (some of them not even finished yet):
Watch me ride the beat, let me, to find the light even in the darkest places (this one's a crossover with Shadowhunters), some things are meant to be and fool for you (the only one who's not a mevie fic).
5. Do you respond to comments? Why/why not?
I always try to respond. If I ever forget doing so I always come back and reply anyway because is the least writers can do for someone who takes their tame to write something about our works and I LOVE interacting with people who do so.
6. A fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending:
The one I've written with the angstiest ending is actually not published yet and I can't say anything about it (and I'm sure @shadowdianne is going to love me for this, they'll be the proudest). It's Supercorp and it will destroy you because I've cried so much writing it, you have no idea.
But if I have to mention one that's published I guess that little SwanQueen I made long ago, unsay these spoken words.
7. Do you write crossovers?
I do! And I love to write crossovers! Even if it's not implicit. For example, one of my headcanons about Evie (Descendants) is that her mom is Regina Mills and her story is the one she has in OUAT, except for a really happy ending with Emma Swan, so Evie has two moms and I love it.
But I write a lot of crossover fics. I plan to do one with Mevie and Supercorp, still thinking about it.
8. Ever received hate on a fic?
Uhm. Not directly, I guess? I mean, lots of complaints like: when are you going to update? why is this written like this? this is too angsty (no shit sherlock, angst is a trigger warning in the fic) blah, blah, blah...
9. Do you write smut?
I do! But I also enjoy more writing the "pre-smut" if you say, I enjoy teasing too much.
9. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Luckily, no. I haven't. Not that I know of, at least.
10. Ever had a fic translated?
I translate them myself since I'm a translator and interpreter so...
12. Have you ever co-written a fic?
I love co-writing. In the Descendants fandom I'm used to write with my dear friend @eternolimitado but I have a few collabs that need to be finished (-coughs- @shadowdianne looking at you intensely).
13. All-time favourite ship?
The obvious answer is Mevie but it's actually Supercorp.
14. WIP you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?
Probably a lot, but the first one that came to much is this WIP I have with so much angst in it. It's actually based on the movie Burlesque and its two main characters I can't really talk about but if you're interested in it DM me.
15. Writing strengths?
Uhm... Nothing? At least from my point of view. People say I'm good at description and analyzing a character. I get so invested in my characters that I have to study them previously. For example, it took me an awful lot to write Regina and Lena properly.
16. Writing weaknesses?
Dialogue. Definitely dialogue. I love description too much.
17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
If one of my characters speaks another language I always try to write dialogue in that language. I do that a lot with Evie since Sofia is Colombian, for example. Of course it comes with a translation at the end of the fic.
18. First fandom you ever wrote for?
Definitely Faberry (Glee).
19. What’s your fav fic you’ve written so far?
This is hard to answer... but I guess I really enjoy the universe I created with "watch me ride the beat". I love modern!AU's and everything was made from the heart.
I'm not going to tag anyone but feel free!! <3
