I always try to respond to comments! These little things are brightening up my day, so I wanna let the people know that they are my heroes hahaha

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

I really think it's Transition. All in all it's a pretty dark story, a bit depressing I think (I had these intentions while writing at least).

Otherwise, I don't think I have angsty endings fics?

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

New family members for sure!! Was thinking hard what to choose, cause I think all of my happy ending fics are on the pretty same level on a happy scale, but I remember that I have this gen, non romantic baby and I love it so much ❤️‍🩹 There's a little TLK OMC for y'all

Do you write crossovers?

I wanted to say I've never done this BUT THEN!!! My Assassin's Creed (Ezio) x LOTR little headcanon!!! My beloved child!!

No, not that I remember getting any hate on my fics

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, tho not much and on rare occasions. I used to write a lot of smut when I was younger (a teen), then I stopped being comfortable with it for a wild few years (tho reading never made me uncomfortable lmao).

Now I started writing smut again, idk what kind? Don't really understand what does that mean lol F x M traditional sex? Pretty detailed? If so, then yes lmao

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't know 😂 Maybe, maybe not. I think rather not.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not to my knowledge, I don't think so.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

We tried with my friend a long long time ago. Didn't go well lmao It's hard and kinda stressing, cause you never know what the other person is gonna write (at least we had this SURPRISE system), so... You kinda have zero plot cause everything you want to write plot-wise can be ruined by the second person's plot lmao

What's your all-time favorite ship?

Athelnar?? Athelstan and Ragnar were my first ever OTP (quickly followed by Alfred and Uhtred). You could never beat that Athelnar shit out of my body lmao I've never written for them, but oh I do love them boys!

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

Now, that's the HARSH one lmao

I think I have at least 3 OC stories that I really wanna write (2 for TLK and one for LOTR), but I'm scared that I will never actually do it. I never was good with multi chaptered stories, and these are indeed not a one shots 🥲

What are your writing strengths?

Ugh... I don't know? I think I was pretty good with dialogues and descriptions of the surroundings to build the atmosphere. But... I guess it's not for me to decide but for the readers?

What are your writing weaknesses?

I rarely finish what I've started lmao I should write everything in one go or else I'll never finish it... Or will finish it in two months even if it's a 2k words one shot

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I love them! I've only done it with my LOTR fics (with Sindarin) but I really love it. But I really love it when the language is different from the language of the settings? Like, if the story is happening in England and everyone is English, but you have two characters who can speak idk Dutch, let them have a Dutch language in their dialogue. I had a rant post about it not that long ago actually lmao You have to think about your in-universe language

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Ahhh Bungou Stray Dogs! I love them, and I'd gladly try to write something for them. Not a character/character but reader my beloved.

And maybe Stephane Narcisse (reign) my beloved and a reader

What's your favorite fic you've written?

The blood on my hands (Eomer) and Peace (Finan) are definitely my fave ones I think. They are dark and both explore some trauma

How many works do you have on AO3?

Eleven, as of now! There's quite a few I need to update though, haha. I've got more fics in the works, as well as updates for those already published!

I Am You and You Are Me (23,152 words), ongoing, T - a crossover, what-if story about the regular bsd world and the Beast world colliding.

2. What's Wrong, Love? (3,946 words), oneshot, T - Dazai knew Chuuya, in and out. The redhead would never cry, always a strong soldier. Yet here he was, shedding tears in Dazai's lap. Something was seriously wrong.

3. Please, Save Me (4,784 words), oneshot, M - Dazai Osamu stood on the train tracks, ready for the embrace of death. And as that moment comes, he truly believed he was going to die. Except... he doesn't?

4. Sleepy Times (2,536 words), oneshot, G - Dazai, the ever-good partner, knows all of Chuuya's tells. And when Chuuya seems like a walking corpse on their drive to a safe house, he's quick to realize the problem. He's got a beyond sleep-deprived slug on his bandaged hands.

5. Burning Bright! (12,449 words), ongoing, T - Chuuya always worked hard in his young life, balancing a part-time job with full-time college. He makes it work. But when his favorite actor (and crush) Dazai Osamu walks into his boba shop to get away from fans? It turns Chuuya's world upside down.

I try! I know I've got a few I still need to respond to, but I promise I read them and I appreciate them so much!! I just tend to forget to respond after reading the email notification since Ao3 doesn't have any other notifications after that :')

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Ohhh it's two and they're not published yet haha. But they had me tearing up writing/thinking about it. As for published, it's Four Seasons (Warning: MCD) or To Be Human (more angsty hurt/comfort).

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

So I have a bad habit of jumping between projects A Lot soooo I haven't actually written many endings, just mapped them out. For published, though, I'd say The Feels or Sleepy Times.

Do you write crossovers?

Apart from IAYAYAM's Beast x Canon world crossover, no. I love seeing art or fics that set the bsd characters into other worlds, but I'm not creative enough for that lol.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I don't think so? I've received spam but nothing like hate.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

In my head~ but I actually will be attempting to start writing it soon! I created a 18+ acc over on twt to explore it as well. When it comes to smut, though, I adoreeeee when it's tender or a first time.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yeah :') there was a website back in Julyish this year (2024) that stole a ton of works from Ao3 and put it on its own. Last I knew, the site was taken down, though!

Have you ever had a fic translated?

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope. A friend and I have created threads off our texts using both our ideas, but never actually co-wrote them.

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

SOUKOKU. I've been here for three years already and I fear there is no escape.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I've got a few that are just dumb little ideas, like one is labeled Port Mafia Family Adventures and is supposed to be oneshots in a series of crack shenanigans in the pm, especially when skk were there together. Now that I think about it, it'll prolly get turned into a thread or two on here and twt hehe.

What are your writing strengths?

Uhhhh not fully sure. Lily said I captured teen!Dazai very well in a wip the other day so there's that? Skfdkjsjfs

What are your writing weaknesses?

Staying focused/on track... it shows in my writing imo. I'm also not very good at dialogue and I think I can still get better at descriptions and characterizations.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

YES. always yes. I want it as accurate as possible, even if people don't know how to read it. It makes it so much more real, especially if, say, the main character doesn't know the language and someone (the villain, for instance) is telling them something in that unknown language. Makes it feel like you're in that character's place not knowing what's going on.

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Hmm if it was gonna be anything, it'd be from either fe3h (sylvix + yuri), zelda (zelink), or hq (kenhina) but my mini hyperfixations on those never last long enough for me to write anything </3

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Ooh. That's hard. I honestly love all of them? Like there's none I regret writing, they're proof that I can focus on something and produce it well enough to publish. I also really like all the concepts I've published so far, as well as most of the ones in my wips <33

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes!!! There might be a delay if I'm busy, but I make a point of responding to every single comment, even if it's just to say thank you! I love comments!!!

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? That would be Caeeli aux mains bleues, an Arthurian fic I wrote at 16. It's kind of cringe... and yes very angsty. I keep it around because there's no use being ashamed of where you started (although.....) and anyway most of my followers don't read French so they can't witness that weird teenage trainwreck for themselves 🙃 I also have plans (and lots of drafts) to re-write it entirely into something much, much more interesting, but it will have to wait after pHORSE is done.

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? Perfect! Although it's merely a double drabble. But pHORSEuasion will have a sweet, happy ending and will sicken everyone around with sugary fluff!

Do you write crossovers? Does pHORSEuasion count as a crossover? I know that technically it's an AU (Jane Austen's Persuasion set in LotR universe), but it kind of has the spirit of crossover? Unless I misunderstand the concept.

Have you ever received hate on a fic? Never.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? No... But never say never! 👀

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of.

Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but I could translate them into French myself. Or turn the Arthurian fic into English. We'll see.

Have you ever co-written a fic before? No! Alone in my head, so far.

What's your all-time favorite ship? Hmmm I really like Borodred, but at the moment I'm entirely taken by my Éomer/Rowena(OC) ship!

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will? I WILL FINISH pHORSE I WILL FINISH pHORSE I WILL FINISH pHORSE I WILL FINISH pHORSE even if it takes me a decade.

What are your writing strengths? Erm, I think that one of my strengths is that I can draw from a wide variety of real-life experiences to make different settings and topics feel real and describe them with realism and depth?

What are your writing weaknesses? I'm sloooooooow. Wow I'm slow. Perfectionism, busy life, second language, complex plots, put all that together, and you get the pace of an arthritic snail on sleeping pills.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Old English is just too pretty! But I try to stay readable. (As if I had to restrain myself from fluently writing in Old English hahaha)

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to? I'm happy with LotR, Austen and Arthurian legend! Maybe one day I will extend to Silmarillion!

What's your favorite fic you've written? Finished: Spoons. Quite proud of how I treated a difficult, rarely addressed subject there! But overall: pHORSE is my baby!

How Many Works Do You Have On AO3?

5 little babies hehe 😁 We'll see what additions 2025 will bring!

What's your total AO3 word count?

40 780 - I've always gone through fairly short phases of writing a few little fics for a fandom, but they've almost only ever been very short oneshots. Levihan has a special grip on me haha, so I am very happy about that number! 😁

...which are my only 5 stories hehe (even though one of them technically can't be called a story yet, because the only thing I uploaded is the preface lol xD)

5. The Greatest Gift Is Love - A Levihan Advent Calendar: The Christmas college AU which until now only features the preface I mentioned above 😂 The "real" story will start soon, with one chapter per day from December 1 - 25. It follows Hange's and Levi's friendship over the course of one year, with lots of wintery/Christmassy content especially in the second half! 🎄

4. A Thousand Times Nothing Happened: I had a blast writing this because it was such an out of the blue decision xD A TV show brought a well known German song to my attention, and suddenly the lyrics sounded Levihan coded to me and it all went from there. It's a modern AU songfic which switches between Levi and Hange meeting when they are 4 years old, and growing up together, and the present time where, at 28 years, they suddenly and very unexpectedly cross the line of friendship 🤭 I think this is my personal favourite; I'm very, very happy about how this turned out hehe.

3. The Levihan Mosaic (Tumblr Drabbles & Prompts): The title is very self-explanatory haha, that's where I upload everything I originally post on Tumblr. Which reminds me that I still need to transfer one story... oops? 🙊

2. In The Heart Of Marley: I originally wanted to keep this a one-chapter fic, but then Hange's birthday came up and I though - why not have her spend her birthday in Marley? Chapter one features Levihan taking a walk in the gardens of the Azumabuto mansion, with Hange worrying about the relationship between Eldians and Marleyans, and Levi offering support (and tying Hange's tie 😁). Chapter two is baiscally a Levihan slumber party haha, with lots of board games, food and definitely more lighthearted than the first chapter.

1. On A Night Like This: The very first fic I wrote for the AOT fandom, and it is another songfic. It is set right after the ending of Season 3, when the Scouts take their trip to the beach for the first time. At night, Hange leaves to take a walk on the beach, and of course, worried Levi follows her. It's mostly fluff with Hange causing Levi distress by making him do (little) things he doesn't want to do 😂 (Because, of course, Levi hates the beach!)

Always!! If someone takes the time to comment I will always at least leave a thank you. If they have a lot to say I will engage with them in discussion (which I LOVE BTW)

None currently. I have the Darkest before the Dawn that I am working on, then I have The Wolf and the Wild Boar which is planned next, and maybe a few after that. I always finish what I start lol.

I suppose introspection and dialogue. I am getting better at including sensory descriptions and setting descriptions.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I am not so good at writing flowery poetic sentences like some people do, and I am trying to improve that.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I don't really like this as I feel it breaks immersion, especially if you have to translate it afterward. If it is a single word or a few phrases that is fine, but if it is a whole paragraph, no.

None, really. I only write for TLK and Aldhelm, so I have no desire at this time to write for other fandoms.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes. I absolutely adore interacting with people who have taken the time to not only read, but leave a comment. 

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? I've got a bunch with angst in there that wrap up in less angst, or resolution, if not a happy ending. Probably Verbanden & Geesten, though, because while Kaz has mostly gotten himself to an even keel, he has Gone Through It in chapter 3. Runner up would be Geliefde, because Inej sails off, and Kaz is not okay.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

For wholeseomness: Plan van Leder, because Kaz finally says "I love you" out loud to Inej.

For uh, "happy endings"... Well, that would be most of my smutty stories. Heh. Do you write crossovers?

At the moment, I have so many canon compliant/future canon stories on the docket that I am not sure I will ever get to doing crossovers, but I am not ruling it out. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes, unabashedly. 74% of the current published stories contain explicit content. Some of it is sweet, some of it is kinky, and I always strive to show healthy, consent oriented fun.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge.

Have you ever had a fic translated? Not yet, but that would be amazing. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Not yet. I am open to the idea, though. What’s your all-time favourite ship? Kanej, baby. Kaz Brekker/Inej Ghafa, from Six of Crows. Wesper is a fairly close second, though. What’s a WIP you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? Hrm. I *hope* to finish all of my current WIP ideas that are fleshed out. So, really, none at this time. What are your writing strengths? Witty banter and subtle character development through dialogue. (The latter was said by one of my writing friends.) Editing for myself.

What are your writing weaknesses? Length... sometimes I know pieces are getting long, but I just keep finding things that want to be in the story. Sometime they get edited down, and sometimes, the piece just ends up at novella length. Whoops.

Getting bogged down by intermediary scenes. Sometimes, I just need to skip ahead to the next bit of action. See also, pieces getting too long.

Edit runs until I feel like the piece is crafted as well as I can get it. Double edged sword, this one. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? So, because I write Six of Crows fics, I include a lot of the 'foriegn' languages, and have 'invented' even more of each language. I even went to far as to do a fic based on language lessons between two of my OC's, Een Taal Aanleren. I like to include a translation guide in the notes, but also try very hard to have the other language explained in context and naturally flowing exposition. What is a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? Red White & Royal Blue, Firstprince. What’s your favourite fic you have written? It's a bit of a tie at the moment, honestly. Verbanden & Geesten for various reasons, like the gang meeting from Jesper's POV. And then chapter 3, and it's view into Kaz's past and childhood memories.

And while it isn't published yet, my other current fav is Vakantie. Because we get ALL sorts of Kaz and Inej insights and fun and caring. More of Kaz's past, but this time, he's *sharing* it with Inej. They're getting to try on a whole different life for a week. it's a small number but i never thought i'd get to this point so yay!!

love in the vein (2,219 words) - M, skk, complete one-shot (albeit part of a larger ongoing universe), 18-year-old prince dazai and his fiancé (trans) chuuya make out in a garden and muse about love and trust 👀written for a valentine's day challenge!

so show me why you're strong (ignore everybody else) (15,490 words) - T, ambiguously platonic skk, ongoing. mafia executive chuuya meets suicidal cat hybrid dazai and tries to give him a better life (against dazai's wishes)

my candy boy, my baby (2,495 words) - T, sskk, completed one-shot. written for the same valentine's day challenge as love in the vein! atsushi and akutagawa go on a valentine's day date and try to manage sweet confessions amidst emotional awkwardness.

we burn our blue love for a while (8,668 words) - E, buraiha trio OT3, completed one-shot, VERY SPICY. ango has a really great recurring threesome going on and he thinks only about the inevitability of love and betrayal. pwp but angsty.

or so I’ve dreamed, since I met you (55,948 words) - M, skk, complete. artists AU set in 1910s paris - realist painter chuuya meets modern artist dazai, who has synaesthesia, and a sort of rivals to lovers story emerges. past buraiha trio ot3, some angst but with a happy ending.

yes! very rarely in a timely manner but I do try to. I spend a lot of emotional energy in my fics and I like to have discussions about it when people make comments c:

probably we burn our blue love (mentioned above)... I think it's not necessarily angsty due to the events of the fic itself (which is mostly smut tbh) but due to what happens in canon later on and how it's alluded to at the end of the fic... bloohooohoooo i will never NOT be crying over the dark era!!!!

apart from the aforementioned angst, all my fics have happy endings!! probably the cutest softest fluffiest is my candy boy, my baby (also mentioned above) just bc it's a valentine's day fic and it's so tooth-rottingly sweet uwu uwu

never properly written one but I do have a bsd x borderlands AU living in my head. I also have a bsd kpop AU waiting to be written, and that counts as a crossover bc i've written kpop fic before and also I said so

I am never leaving behind my funky little blorbos that got me PROPERLY into online shipping culture in the early 00s. they come back around every few years like a planet with a weird orbit and my singular remaining fma brain cell just buzzes like crazy and then goes dead again.

Kid Gloves is probably dead now. it's just been too many years since its inception and the things that made me want to write it in the first place. plus, I think my writing has improved a lot since then and I sort of cringe looking at it now lol

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

i do my best to. more often than i'd like i chicken out for fear of managing to say something that comes across as offensive or annoying, but i appreciate every single one.

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

i consider plenty of my writing to contain angst, but i typically end on at least a slim note of hope, so my search for an angsty ending was surprisingly difficult. i would say the most impactful one to qualify is fac fortia et patere, because it ends in the midst of Smaug's beseiging of Lake-Town, with only the omniscient position of knowing key events of AaOT as a whole to promise the characters survive it. (and technically Alphes doesn't without serious injury, so i say it counts).

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

a hard choice, because unless it's complete unhindered fluff, my fics usually end with breathing room. hope, and achievement of a goal, but not quite bliss. in that light i say sunkissed, because it exists purely to be sweet romance between an adoring couple that achieve their mutual goal of a perfect first kiss. and if that's not happy, i don't know what is 😁

Do you write crossovers?

write, not yet. think about and plan, often enough. usually RWBY or Pokémon, as both have been with me since i was single-digits old. Inheritance Cycle has definitely crossed my mind at least twice as well. oh, and even Power Rangers!

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

hm, not that i recall. most of what i write is very niche so there's not a very high ratio of nice readers to spiteful ones. if you click on one of my fics, it's because you want to read it.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

privately. never say never, but i can't imagine it ever seeing the light of day, and i'm happy that way.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

not that i'm aware, nor do i ever expect it to happen as again most are very niche. however, i do have my fics locked to account-holders only nowadays to prevent bot scrubbing to train AI. they don't discriminate.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

no, but i'd like to one day be fluent enough in something to translate it myself.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

i've beta'd a few, but not yet had the pleasure to co-write. the only people i've encountered who i knew were open to it, i didn't feel our styles would mesh well. but i'm definitely willing with the right match!

What's your all-time favorite ship?

over the past few years i've noticed a decline in the intensity of my interest in ships. i'll always stand tall as a whiterose truther, though 🫡 until the end.

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

i like to think i'll eventually scrape together conclusions for all of them. there's probably a number floating around from old fandoms, but there's always the potential to rekindle an interest. the path of life is a mystery.

What are your writing strengths?

dialogue, and environment descriptions. dialogue has always come easier to me than what i've heard from other writers, and is often the first step i need to take to break the ice on a blank page. but i thrive just as much in the quiet moments where dialogue drops away and the world is left to speak.

What are your writing weaknesses?

...um, actually finishing things 😅 i really need to learn my lesson that as many times as i try, multi-chapter/long-form fics don't work for me. i am a oneshot guy through and through. it's an achievement just to drag myself over that finish line. i like writing, i promise, i just... lose motivation rather quickly. hand in hand with that, it takes a long time to actually finish fics.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

i love writing it and reading it!!! big fan!!! i try to dial it back because i'm conscious it can make fics harder to read and turn off someone who might otherwise like my writing, though. for all the small lexicons i add to make it accessible, it isn't easy to disrupt the flow to inform. i have to remind myself that my happiness to persevere isn't always shared. that said, i can rarely resist sneaking a few words in, especially terms of endearment or curses in a character's native language.

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

Inheritance Cycle, a book series by Christopher Paolini. i can't tell you how instrumental it was in creating the person i am today. i know when i was young i wrote something for it, but i've since tried to dig it up and it's long gone. i have vague memories of what it was about, so i'd like to give it another shot someday.

What's your favorite fic you've written?

ad meloria, without a doubt. i consider it my current magnum opus. it was the culmination and payoff of so much within AaOT, and i think sums up my identity as a writer pretty well.

I’ve read so many well written fanfics that are so much better than some published original novels. (here’s the proof.)

wanna know the trick? if you don’t think you’re gonna be taken seriously if you say you write fanfics while in a job interview, then say creative writing. because writing fanfics is considered creative writing. it is creative writing.

fanfic writers can write novel-length fiction, fanfic writers can write as good as any other writers who write original works if not better. fanfic writers are writers and they are just as valid.

you, a fanfic writer, may even be more dedicated and passionate than writers who sell original works because, while they write because it’s their job, you literally write 👏🏻 for 👏🏻 free 👏🏻 out 👏🏻 of 👏🏻 pure 👏🏻 love 👏🏻 and 👏🏻 passion.

Yes I do. Well since the two ships I write smut for (Nozelena and Zobra) are rather kinky... it's gets interesting. There are some power plays involved, authority (especially with Nozelena) or some degradation (more Zobra). It's rather adventurous and as I talked with some friends literally yesterday not vanilla 😂

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Hmm I don't know if I can really answer that. They change depends on the fandom I've been in. If I haaad to choose it would probably be Klance. They were the first I read hundreds of thousands words fics for and my first ever try at fic writing myself.

However as currently BC is my main fandom my fav ships are there, so ehhh.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Ehmm... I don't usually start multichapter fics without thinking I can finish them. I'm hoping to finish those I started. I might never pick up my soulmate AU, but it's been posted just as a one shot for now, so I don't count it as a started and unfinished work.

What are your writing strengths?

I think the "visuals" of my writing. As in I see my scenes, I see my characters move and I see their expressions. My writing is more consisting if images, it's kind of like a movie. They're not always super clear, but when they are I'm able to make illustrations without refs. If not super clear I can find refs which are close enough.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I suppose I'm not as great at internal monologues... but that's comparing to Oighear's work (her internal conflicts and thought processes are insane). I can see room for improvement and I've been working on them. I also repeat some words at times, so I need work on that. However as I look at the beginning chapters of Ph now that @loosesodamarble's reading them I see how much my writing has improved and it's amazing.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I write some Spanglish for Helena and considering my Spanish is not great (I sometimes aks friends for help), I think it's alright... I do my best to show respect to native speakers and appreciation to their language instead of butchering it, so I also choose to not give full on different language conversations.

What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

Fandom wise I'm pretty happy with BC, but if I were to write sth maybe Perc'ahlia from VoxMachina, EkkoJinx , or CatVi from Arcane, or IwaOi from Haikyuu (I only read countless fics for them).

As for a ship. I'd like to give a try to YamiChar once, but personally I think canon did Charlotte dirty and well in PH I try to keep her close to canon, so that put me off a bit.

Wait I wrote for YamiChar but those were one shots. I meant a multichapter fic for them.

Formula for a Crush

However currently I'm LOVING Formula for a Crush with @f-oighear. Seriously this fic is so good, it's one of those I'd like to read myself and what surprises me the most there's not a moment not a scene where I feel like "I could have done that differently" which happens in PH a few times.

Overall I was surprised how much depth we found in these two and their relations not only within themselves but with others. This fic has everything great humor, angst, fluff, solid storyline, amazing characters, interesting setting. And the writing process is truly the best, which can obviously make me partial. Also it's currently the fic I'm working on the most (I haven't really touched other stuff over the last few weeks). So there's that.

Ice skating AU

holds a special place in my heart too. Although considering all my other projects it's getting pushed to the side. Plus because of rl I'm just not as efficient of a writer as I used to be 😭 and I guess drawing takes up a lt of my writing time now. But i'll have arts or it soon.

Against our Own

is my angsty "I love Silvas" statement. I'm hoping to maybe sit down to chapter 3 over the break 🥺

Basically if I decided to write a multichapter about something, the story is thought through and it will be good. I can guarantee that. I want to finish them.

I need happy endings with my angst so... yeah. I think... Yesterday I died (tomorrow's bleeding) is quite sad.

I guess the SAU has the happiest ending. Everything And More's last chapter is literally sunshine and calmness which, yk, is needed after the whole thing.

I've just gotten into it! I didn't see the hype before but um that was because I never tried to mash together the right verses I think. The Arkham Horror x Black Clover crossover is very dear to me.

fhjfhds all of them. If I start a wip it's that I want to see it finished (because I want to read it). Sadly, I often don't have the motivation to. The wip list is ever growing.

Dialogue and internal monologues, I think.

Besides everything syntax and grammar-related because what even is English, I'd say description, especially of action scenes. It takes me forever to even dare put down a few words and I always feel like I'm describing like a 7yo would (no shade to 7yo but surely with 20 more years on this planet I should be able to do better).

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I did it in Formula for a Crush for Vanessa and Helena because Helena typically does it so it felt normal to As long as it's one word or one expression I don't really mind. (my Italian is non-existent and my Spanish is uhhh not good so, there's that.).

In my own work, I prefer to keep it in English and italicize. Less risk to completely fumble a whole language.

(I just realized that Zora doesn't even utter one word in French in FFAC and I'm French [I dare think I can speak and write the language relatively well]. so it's less down to messing up a language than personal preferences in writing ig..? I never really thought about it.)

I've had this question ten thousand times and I think I reply differently every time dhjfdjskj. It's a tough one.

Right now I'm having a lot of fun with Formula for a Crush (nah, you can't tell with how much I'm talking about it).

what even is football anyway will always be very dear to me and I'll probably say it's this one.

Blue Hours (and its sequel, I might even like the sequel more simply for the rant about the dishes) is special because I loved the concept and I experienced a bit with the narration.

Thicker Than Blood because it's a longer one and it was a really non-pressure kind of fic (I expected no one to read it so I really had fun)

Yesterday I died (tomorrow's bleeding) and posing questions to a silent universe (my very thoughts a curse) for some nice Mia angst.

Lost in a storm, It’s a big office, chief, for some nice Phoenix angst.

Summary; You witnessed Claudia and Louis dispose of Lestat’s body and decided to heal him. The beginning of the strangest and yet strongest relationship you ever had.

It was a night like no other. The sky was clear, allowing you to admire the moon and stars while the breeze played with your coat and scarf. Through the mix of odours, you were able to smell the scents of vampires. You didn't expect to run into a coven, but as you were about to turn around and leave their territory, a new scent reached you; vampire blood.

It has been years since you witnessed a vampire being killed and wondered what had happened. Curiosity won over your sense of survival and you walked toward what you thought to be the crime scene.

What wasn't your surprise when hidden in the shadow, you saw a child and a man dispose of a body in the trash. Even from a distance, you could tell those three were vampires. You moved, slowly, making sure the wind wouldn't alert them of your presence. You wondered if there was a chance to save their victim. After all, if the body hadn't been burned, then there was a chance the poor man could survive.

But a vampire child? The thought horrified you. You never thought those could be created and who would do such a horrible thing? Being stuck in the body of a child for all eternity seemed like a curse to you and you would prefer the deadly embrace of the sun than to even live a minute like that.

You waited for the murderous duo to leave before approaching the trash. Once you were sure neither vampire would notice you, you walked up to their victim. You recognized the name almost instantly. Lestat de Lioncourt. Who wouldn't recognize that angelic face of his? You never met Lestat before, you being way older and more of a lone wolf, but you saw portraits of him.

You didn't hesitate before scooping Lestat out of the trash and carrying him away. The smell of his blood nauseated you in the worst way possible, reminding you of why you kept your distance from your kin. The constant fights and murders were too much for you. Even as a human, you witnessed your fair share of massacres and didn't want to see more.

You took Lestat to your place and laid him down in your coffin. You didn't clean him, no. Because the first thing you did was to feed Lestat. Opening your own wrist, you let your blood pour into Lestat’s mouth and gently massaged his throat to help him swallow. The effect didn't take time and you watched his wound slowly heal.

You have to hold him down as Lestat comes back to himself, trashing around in a panicked state. You can only watch as tears of blood roll down his cheeks and he claws at your arms. The fear and despair in those beautiful eyes are enough to soften your stone heart. You help him clean up in silence, bathing him and making sure all wounds are closed. It's a heavy and uncomfortable silence, yet you don't dare say anything.

Just like you heard of Lestat, he has heard of you. The lone wolf, a bloody vampire killer who had slaughtered many covens in his younger years. But now you avoid everything and everyone, preferring the calm that came with solitude.

Until Lestat came into your life.

And as the days pass, you hunt for the two of you since Lestat isn't in any shape to help. May it be mentally or physically, the younger vampire is useless. But you can't keep it against him. After all, it's his own mate and child who tried to murder him. When Lestat told you of what happened, you felt a shiver run down your spine and anger fill you. How dared they? How could they?

For some reason, you feel a wind of protectiveness toward Lestat. Maybe it's his angelic face, maybe it's the pain and grief in his eyes, but you can't resist the urge to keep him safe. Maybe that why Lestat stay by your side, even when he is completely healed and free to leave, Lestat stay with you. And as time passed, you two grew closer to each other.

You never had a mate or a coven but with Lestat, you found both. It was Lestat who did all the first steps, trying to win you over. He would hunt and catch your favourite kind of prey, find your favourite things and give them to you. Lestat was shameless as well, walking around you with nothing covering him but the blood of his latest victims hoping you would lick it.

Yes.

Lestat de Lioncourt was shameless and knew what he wanted; you. And you didn't have the strength to push him away.

You allowed him to share your coffin even if Lestat had his own, enjoying the weight of his body in your arms when you woke up. The way he nuzzled himself against you, nose buried in your neck and fang nibbling at the tender flesh. Lestat knew how to charm and win you over. And God be your witness because you did fall for him, hard.

You thought nothing could disturb your new-found peace, but of course, Lestat was a trouble magnet. It all started when Lestat decided to take you to France, then Paris even tho he knew how you hated being around other vampires. Yet he knew you would never tell him no. You couldn't deny anything to your shameless angel.

Except being among dozens and dozens of vampires.

- “I am sorry mon Ange, but I cannot follow you there.” You whispered against his lips. “I wish I could follow you and…”

- “Then. Do. It.” Lestat had cut you short, hands gripping your chemise and lips pressed against yours. “I need you by my side. I. Need. You. Who else will keep me safe?”

There it is. The manipulation, the words that can make you move mountains for that drama queen. Because he is right; who can keep him safe when he will have to face both of his murderers in a parody of a trial? But more importantly, who will be there for support when he witnesses their death? Because Claudia and Louis might have tried to murder him, Lestat still cared and loved them.

But not you, no. You were glad those two were going to suffer and face the consequences of their actions.

So you give in and follow, hating every second of it.

Your only pleasure is to see the pain and jealousy in Louis’ eyes as you sit in the luxurious chair and Lestat sit on your lap. Arms wrapped around your lover, you keep him against you and allow him to silently brag about taming you.

The trial is a joke, pathetic and boring. But those are theatrical vampires so of course they are making it extra for no reason. That is until Lestat actually save his former lover. You feel Lestat's tensing body and hear him use his powers, everything he had to save the very man who tried to kill him. It makes you angry until you see tears of blood in his eyes. The pain of the betrayal is still there, but those are vampires Lestat had loved with what was left of his heart and soul.

Then, Claudia’s death.

You had expected it and wished for it, but witnessing it changed everything. Seeing her small body convulse and twist in pain broke your stony heart. You felt despair as you saw how broken Lestat was, his eyes not leaving his daughter as she burned to death. You wrapped your arms tightly around him, whispered sweet words of comfort in his mind and made promises sweeter night and revenge.

And what a bloody revenge was it.

The whole Parisian coven gone, massacred by your very hands and those of Louis.

In the end, you stand behind Lestat as the coven’s theatre burns and you are left facing Louis and Armand. You can still see the jealousy in Louis’ eyes which makes you smile and kiss Lestat’s neck, who leans in your touch.

Lestat’s final goodbye to Louis sounds official like he has turned the page on their relationship, which makes you more than happy. Lestat is now fully yours and no one will ever take him away from you.

But as you reach your home, Lestat breaks in your arms. Tears of blood rolled down his porcelain cheeks. You can do nothing but hold him tightly, letting him grieve his daughter and lover. You know he regrets Claudia’s death, even if you don't, just like you know it will haunt him forever.

- “Cry mon ange brisé, cry and let it all out. Ta douleur est mienne, mon coeur et je suis désolé.” you whisper in his hair as you gently rock him.

You are sorry. Sorry he is so hurt and broken, something you know and understand. And as Lestat melted under your touch, you swore to protect him, swore that those tears are blood are the last one Lestat cried. Yes. You'll never let anyone break your angel.
