buck, in canon, can’t even correct his sister and say that he’s bi in november after six months of dating a man, of falling in love with a man. he didn’t know what the kinsey scale was despite being a known chronic wikipedia article deep-diver.

so, based off of what’s been shown in canon, i have to wonder: did… did buck do pride? like… at all? he spent the entire summer dating a man but didn’t put any thought into his newly discovered identity as a queer man?

because if they do in fact commit to the storyline of buck 1.0 v2, and that’s what leads into buck saying he’s canoncially bi? like he wasn’t sure? i’m going to call bullshit. you’re trying to tell me that evan buckley, who lives in LA, didn’t see any pride celebrations and think, “huh, what am i?” or do any research into queer history?

did buck put the rainbow flag on his instagram bio in june and not think about it… at all? because this is QUITE literally the exact same conflict he had in 7x05, not thinking about or acknowledging his change in identity.

basically my tldr is that this “buck needs more experience to know what he wants as a bi man” (🤢) storyline could have been, and SHOULD have been done in season 7— not after he’s been in an established relationship for 6 months.

I always forget how much of a character Player is #but they are truly their own guy. more then even some non-renameable/customisable game protagonists #the utter guts on this kid to challenge multiple foretellers multiple times，fight both Ephemer and Skuld at the same time-#(both very powerful in their own right)，AND attempt and succeeded in tricking four of the personifications of darkness themselves is… wow #they’re such a powerful fighter too. like they kick both Skuld and Ephemer’s asses，and sure they were both not aiming to kill and exhausted #from fighting Ven’s darkness BUT SO WAS PLAYER (as well as having just come from the arcade and those fights)#them fooling the darknesses too… along side their two closest friends… I wonder if there was any noticeable change between their normal #fighting style and the one they used there. Skuld and Ephemer didn’t necessarily see them fighting during the war #(only heartless or against one appoint) so I wonder if they fought like that.#the ‘argument that is plausible but misleading’ here is Player being possessed. with all the information available to them it is plausible #but we know for a fact that player is just straight up lying. making shit up. mimicking how darkness spoke before to pretend. which is ki #kinda hilarious to me like you go girl gaslight gatekeep girlboss. gaslight them into believing you’re possessed gatekeep them from dying to #trap darkness and girlboss by winning. amazing beautiful 10/10 #I like to think Ephemer never realised、at least while he was alive. something in the tragedy of him never knowing.#of not recogising his dear friend through their deception. of dying thinking he failed them. that it wasn’t their choice.#and he did fail them in a way. there’s this recurring theme in Kingdom Hearts where the hurt lingers despite the memories being gone.#Player is very much effected by this with their memories of the war being gone but still suffering. Ephemer stands by the decision to hide #it thinking it spares them from the burden but it doesn’t it just takes away the context and they deserve to know what happened to them

idk if this is just me but i do think it makes some sense why mike and harvey’s relationship crumbles apart so fast after harvey (basically) breaks mike out of prison. at this point, mike and harvey both got slapped with the fact that there was a genuine consequence to their actions—there was a rock bottom. and yet because harvey is harvey, he’s going to want to cling onto mike however he can. it’s almost obsessive, the way he tries (and tries. and tries. and you can’t blame him, really. he just saw his best friend (and also the love of his life, let’s be fucking real) go to prison. he realized that there is something he can’t win, not when it comes to the force that is mike ross). and for mike, it makes some sense why he wants to run far away—especially if we think about mike’s relationship with trevor (someone he really did come quite close to going to prison for). it makes some sense why he would want to run, because god, he’d lost everything before and he can’t keep losing more. which i think is what makes mike’s quiet distance from harvey that much more depressing: for harvey, he thinks clinging onto mike as tight as he can will fix things again, and for mike, he thinks leaving harvey will be the only thing that can fix things. i’m going to eat glass
