Does anyone else think it’s weird that nobody’s family is close knitted in kotlc? By close knitted I mean the fact that majority of them don’t seem to be close to their grandparents, cousins, and or aunts/uncle. Obviously we know some lore about Kesler and his family but you would think, with Keefe being abused and all, that at least one grandparent would step up to help him or something. Same thing with Wylie. Why was he given a guardian when he could have been put with family? It’s as if family trees or line dont matter much to them.

buck, in canon, can’t even correct his sister and say that he’s bi in november after six months of dating a man, of falling in love with a man. he didn’t know what the kinsey scale was despite being a known chronic wikipedia article deep-diver.

so, based off of what’s been shown in canon, i have to wonder: did… did buck do pride? like… at all? he spent the entire summer dating a man but didn’t put any thought into his newly discovered identity as a queer man?

because if they do in fact commit to the storyline of buck 1.0 v2, and that’s what leads into buck saying he’s canoncially bi? like he wasn’t sure? i’m going to call bullshit. you’re trying to tell me that evan buckley, who lives in LA, didn’t see any pride celebrations and think, “huh, what am i?” or do any research into queer history?

did buck put the rainbow flag on his instagram bio in june and not think about it… at all? because this is QUITE literally the exact same conflict he had in 7x05, not thinking about or acknowledging his change in identity.

basically my tldr is that this “buck needs more experience to know what he wants as a bi man” (🤢) storyline could have been, and SHOULD have been done in season 7— not after he’s been in an established relationship for 6 months.
