i fell in love with a female character before the game even came out. she was gorgeous and capable and talented and brilliant etc. only to be killed off unceremoniously in chapter zero. before the game even really starts. i hate this fucking game. but the good parts are SO fucking GOOD.

i can’t think about rain code too much or it’ll make me insane again.

chapter two is mostly amazing, once you get past some not great stuff. chapters four and five are genuinely one of my favorite video game moments ever. the twists and info you learn. the characters. the way it’ll tear out your heart and stomp on it. makes me want to tear my hair out.

and then you have chapters zero, one, and three, which are just kind of okay. and there’s all the bullshit that comes with being made by the danganronpa guy.

i don’t recommend this game to anyone. but god i need more people to know about yakou furio and makoto kagutsuchi. and halara, the most powerful nonbinary character known to man.
