While I do find it funny that henchmen in Gotham probably warn each other about the Red Hood because he's a bat who will actually kill you. I think it would be better if Jason was actually seen as some sort of savior or idol to like 90% of the goons scattered around Gotham. Doesn't matter who they work for, they all know Jason, former crime-lord that took over majority of Gotham's underground in one night.

Jason showing up to patrol as backup for Dick in an overrun warehouse full of Two-Face's henchmen and as Jason's about to interfere, one of the men stops dead in their tracks and stares really hard at Jason until:

Jason, pulling out his guns, about to shoot:

Goon: Mr. Hood, sir???

Jason, halfway about to pull the trigger: Wait a min–Jeremy? Oh wow, it's been ages! How's the wife?

Goon (Jeremy): Oh my God it IS you, holy shit where have you BEEN? Me and the guys miss you, man!

Dick, with a knife at his throat: What is happening right now

Jason: Ahh, well, crime-lording just wasn't fitting in on the daily schedule. Tryna turn over a new leaf and all that

Goon (Jeremy): Aw, that's disappointing. We really liked working for you, right guys?

[Chorus of enthusiastic "YEAHS" from the rest of the henchmen (even the one holding Dick at knifepoint)]

Goon (Jeremy): Well, anyways, I can't beat you up knowing you're my old boss! You gave us the best health benefits! We'll just let you take the evidence and leave.

I feel like Clay is still funny, he just doesn’t like to show it for obvious reasons, so he’s really witty and hilarious, but discreet about it. Like picture him and Viva Doing Something Important, and someone will say something, he’ll mutter something to Viva under his breath and her soul will leave her body laughing- but nobody knows what’s going on, because Clay is Just Sitting There and obviously Not Laughing, so Vivas just laughing??? By herself??? Which would make her laugh harder I think.

just finished playing forspoken and I really enoyed it! The mechanics are a little janky and take some getting used to and the pacing wasn't brilliant - espcially given how uncessarily large the map is (im looking at you praenost) but I had a lot of fun with it and the lore was compelling enough that I'm sad it won't be further explored in the sequel they were clearly setting up :( also, as a lesbian, loved how women-centric it was and also tanta olas and tanta sila who are my wives actually <3

The thing about Bang Won in this episode (31) is that he decides he needs to be An Adult. He ties his hair, he moves out of his family home, he gets himself soldiers, and he even gets someone who will serve him in the future. And by the end of the episode, he has his last playful date with Boon Yi, because he knows he can't be the same person he once was now that everything is like this. He thought he had more time, more power, more everything. But now he understands how foolish he was to even think that way, so he goes on his grown-up journey and whatever. So it's kind of amazing that this is the moment they share their first kiss, especially after saying Boon Yi can't keep calling his name like she used to. Even though he has to grow up, and by default can't have any weaknesses such as a commoner being so casual to him, a nobleman (and future royal), even though this love for Boon Yi started when he was young and idealistic... The love for Boon Yi was never just young love, wasn't something silly or a thing to make the days go by. Bang Won love for her was always the real deal and even after going through that type of transformation and making such a hard request, that's the moment he breaks and kisses her because what he feels for her transcends all of that. It's just almost as strong as his desire to conquer it all, I think Which reminds me of My Dearest and Arthdal Chronicles, where both royal characters decided they loved a commoner, that love always felt more like possession than love itself. Almost like colonization. I want you for myself because I can have you, so who are you to deny me etc etc etc. But Bang Won is different in that regard. Boon Yi and him were always equals in his heart and that's why he allowed her to speak to him casually, even when his own wife can't. So the difference here is that Boon Yi will never love the type of world he wants to create, and he knows that and he isn't (so far, at least) forcing her to do so. He isn't interested in a Boon Yi he can control, a person who will do whatever he says... Which is a lot coming from the Yi Bang Won. So, anyways, I am indeed very sad because I know my history and I know this won't end with them happily raising kids with Muhyul and Da-Kyung.
