A glamour is a magic spell that changes/cover your appearance. Like in the show macaque should technically have 6 ears. for animation purposi I guess they are not drawing all of them, but we say he uses a glamour also for covering his scarred eye.

mmmmmm---- I think Wukong. Freenoodle is pretty chill with the DBK family after everything that happened. Mac is also quite alright since he was always in good relationship with them. I would say Wukong would just want to be sure his kid doesn't get hurt by the fire in any way

So the thing is that MK is hearing the past from both POVs. Macaque by definition can hear ANYTHING so yeah he could definitely experience MKs memories. But the thing is-does he want to? I headcanon that his future-present-past hearing abilities are something he only used a couple of times, and because what he heard from them was so traumatic, he decided to NOT use them again (like wukong laser eyes)

So- *sigh* technically, we don't really know MK immortality status. it's a grey area for now. Because on one side, he's a stone monkey, who, by nature like Wukong, can perfectly age and grow like a normal monkey. On the other hand, he's technically died already, and by the time he was created by Nuwa, both his biological fathers were already immortal (Wukong bc yes, Macaque because he's a demon, and he can die from wounds and illness, but can't age)

So to answer: we don't know yet what's with him. we will see (I promise that)

MK can't make the same clones macaque has. He can control a little bit his own shadow, and use that as a clone. so as long as it's his own shadow, it's more Mac area, if it's his own hair clone then it's Wukong's

Yes they know about them. No they aren't his kids let's say. My own personal headcanon for the Au (or the show in general) is that they are both Macaque shadow, like- clones with a little bit of personality just like MK clones represent specific parts of his personality. He has 2 of them because he lived 2 lives, one before and one after he was brought back to life.

Aaahh I’ve seen a lot of asks asking this one but honestly I don t know If I’ll ever draw that trope. Maybe bc Wukong should technically have canonically too much knowledge about general illness to be worried about normal daily life illness. If it was something more life-threating. Maybe yes, but I still have to cook.

The need for them to remain close by and wait until Mk is asleep before trying to leave. This means Mac has been through exactly what he is telling them not to do and knows the pain, sorrow and trauma that comes from feeling abandoned like this. They may be facing their past hurting their own kid through proxy and try to help him fight against the trauma. Luckily they have good people to help when they themselves can't. *looks at Freenoodles*

i think i mentioned this in my romanticism post but pinterest is ur best friend. if i know anything about it u can trust i have a pinterest board for it; thats the same for school. gather motivating pictures & and pretty images that align with ur personal goals and style and make u wanna get up and work! i also use tumblr for this too. i'll link a couple blogs i love for this later on <3

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ surroundings

if ur studying, make sure u actually enjoy the place you're studying in, or try to to the best of your extent. whenever i study im 9 times out of 10 always at my desk and ive decorated my desk specifically so that it motivates me to get up and do whatever i need to do + its super pretty and makes me smile every time i see it <3 decorate ur area with little trinkets and both things u love and things that motivate you, and switch it up when you can! don't stay in the same place all the time. spontaneity is fun!!!

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ personalisation

make it pleasing to look at so ur more motivated to go back and revise over them if needed, and so you have something to do as well that is still related to your work if ur someone who gets distracted easily like myself. some inspo i use for my work:

make sure ur drinking lots of water !! i drink lots of water and lots of tea whenever im studying or doing any kind of schoolwork and it helps me a lot, + its just those little bits of comfort yk

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ music and concentration

i work way better with any music in the background but if you're someone who gets distracted easily i'd recommend making a specific playlist for studying and listening to non-lyrical music like lofi, video game soundtracks, classical music, instrumentals of songs u like, etc. (i'm not telling you to go against the rules of ur school but i put a headphone in in class sometimes and cover it with my hair just because i know i work way better with it and it helps me a lot bc most of the people in my classes are so freaking loud. so if ur allowed 100% go for it but i don't recommend what i do if you have a strict school)

🧸𓂃 ࣪˖ prioritising ur health & compromising

like i said in my other post, prioritise your health over anything else. if you didn't get a good nights sleep last night and you have a test tomorrow and need to study, then compromise; if you already know a lot about it or its not fate changing or life altering in some way or you can go over it quickly in the morning or something, go to sleep. your health is always more important in the long run and will help you to do even better in the future in every area of ur life

2. be the change you wish to see in the world

i don’t wanna be a dick but like i can see what you guys say pretty easily. im not some huge media producer who doesn’t pay attention. im a small creator who draws his oc kissing another oc 😭 (im not even indie!!! i’m even smaller than that!!! i don’t make ANY money from truffula flu or anything like that!! to some of you guys i might feel like a big deal but im just some guy in a niche fandom of a niche fandom of a niche fandom. i’m an absolute nobody outside this teeny tiny corner of the internet!!)

ever since camp entre picked back up last year i’ve seen ppl get more and more uh…bold i guess..with what they say and i just want to nip that behavior right there in the bud bc camp entre (or any truffula flu story for that matter) is not Big Media

none of us get or have gotten royalties or whatever from it. camp entre was a former-friend group’s public rp. keep that in mind when you say stuff in tumblr tags or use searchable words/phrases please. any one of us could be looking at any time

One blog comes to mind for me here right enough, it's a specific kink blog: @likebreadandwine . This is a blog described as "encouragement to folks who like to eat too much" - I got recommended this blog by a friend a few years back and I think that any kink writing that encourages self love and encouragement is just so wonderful. I didn't think this kink was going to be something I would enjoy, to keep it vague, because of my own unhealthy relationship with food & mental health and how this kink is shown to people on tv/film etc. My friend who recommended some fics then recommended this blog, and it was such a great recommendation. I am someone who just loves cooking and seeing how people feel when they eat something that I have made, and the link up between enjoying what you're eating and sharing that with someone where you heap on praise. I also feel like there's sentimental value in passing down recipes and there's something so powerful about relating a dish to a person, like "hey have you tried x's recipe?" and it brings your whole body comfort? I just love it. It really opened my mind to how intimate things like hand feeding someone is. Softly caressing someone's tummy after they've eaten the most delicious thing. Feeling sleepy and cuddling together after eating. Being spoiled with lots of lovely treats. Going for dinner and encouraging someone to enjoy themselves, eat what they want and more! The body positivity mixed with kink is just so lovely. A nice example: Feedee being treated like a "beloved treasure" and how proud they are of them [link]

Hi! 💕 Thank you so much. This is exciting. I’m flattered as heck but jeepers, a little underqualified. So, good news - I consulted a few friends for this, too.

Engage with the community early and often – writers, artists, anyone. Even if it seems like they’ve formed a solid community, there are likely still people joining or else it would die out.

Everyone loves to get feedback on their fics, so this is a good entry point. Comments, reblogs, thoughtful asks. If you have the time and interest, maybe a little fic mood board to slide into someone’s inbox. Tag games, etc. Have perseverance. It can be scary to put yourself out there socially, but this part can’t be any scarier than putting your fics out there, can it?

Become a “regular” on your favorite blogs, and you’ll start getting recognized. This will mean when you post your fic, there will be some name recognition, and they may think “Oh, she loves [fave writer], so we have common interests” *open fic*. Hopefully, you'll also get support from your favorite writers if you engage. It doesn't matter how "popular" someone is, they (most?) still notice and connect with regulars. I’ve had many readers turn into writers and am thrilled to support them. 

Accepting requests is a fantastic way to build connections and have things to talk about. Submitting requests, too.

Pay attention to the fandom tags and how they are used.

@aurorawritestoescape: I’m sure they have their fav writers/writers who inspire them and I saw many say that they love to be tagged in other ppl’s fics [toxy note: agree, please feel free to tag me!]

@beefrobeefcal: Dive in feet first. Throw caution to the wind. The first five tags are the one tumblr recognizes for some weird reason. Tag who you inspires you. No door is bolted shut in this community and everyone is welcome! [toxy note: hard agree!]

there’s no easy answer to this anon!!!!! literally all of us feel this way at some point, it’s normal to feel and sucky regardless!!!! :’)

i think most of it boils down to a couple things;

first, you need to realize that the people who aren’t interacting with you aren’t doing it out of malice!!! i think it can be easy to get sucked into a spiral of overthinking, assuming people dislike you, etc — but it usually isn’t like that at all. the people who aren’t tagging you in fanart aren’t excluding you on purpose — maybe they just don’t want to bother you. maybe they’re nervous. maybe it genuinely slipped their mind — it happens!! you need to be understanding and realize that it’s almost never as deep as your brain makes it seem. because otherwise you’ll just get more and more hurt by it.

i also think it boils down to finding your people — and i know that’s a lot easier said than done, but that’s just how it is. your personality isn’t going to mash with all people on here. focus on being yourself, not feeling ashamed of taking up space (again, easier said than done!!! believe me, i know!!!!), and taking the initiative to interact with people. sometimes other people need a little push to give that back. sometimes they’re just as nervous as you may be, even if it doesn’t seem like it. you know? if you post about your interests, and interact here and there (even when it’s scary!!) the right people will find you. (<- said comfortingly not threateningly)

and, most important of all!!!!! allow yourself to be a little sad and mopey. it helps. if you feel excluded then you feel excluded, and that’s all there is to it. you’re allowed to feel upset about that, even if there truly isn’t any malice involved. so mope!!!!!!! let yourself sulk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the feeling will pass. make yourself a meal, drink water, take a walk. watch your comfort show. don’t let yourself fall into a negative headspace just because of a silly website.

also !!!!! try to be patient, even if it’s difficult. it can be hard watching other blogs around you get more asks and etc, but it might just be because they’ve been active for longer than you, or gathered a bigger following. again, you’re allowed to feel upset about that — but you need to give it time. no one starts out with tons of anons or moots or interactions. give it time, and try to find people who you genuinely enjoy talking to, and who genuinely enjoy talking to you :3

^ i get that literally all of this is easier said than done, and maybe you just wanted to vent and don’t need my advice, but i’ll put it here anyway :’) i’m extremely lucky with anons and moots and i’m very grateful for that, but just know that it has taken me time. and even now there are times where i feel excluded from the community on here!! when i do, it helps a lot to just remove myself from tumblr for a bit, get into a better headspace, and then log back on.

Going to desperately attempt to not die of embarrassment before posting this.

The development journey for all my Sonic OCs. More below the cut.

Yeah as a. uh. under 10yo baby. I was not the most creative. Aaron was literally just blue tails until I wised up as a teen. I liked Tails, he was my favorite (still one of my favs) and so I wanted to Have Him. Please forgive my baby crimes.

Anyone who read the tags on the other post and was confused by Athena and Alyssa merging into one character- this is why. They both had. rainbows. I had a lot of characters with rainbows.

In fact, I also had a MLP character who ALSO had rainbows all over her. This character got reposted to one of those edgy "cringe MLP characters" blogs where the people who ran the blog criticized my using the default rainbow gradient. Tween me then went on to bury all of my rainbow characters, including Alyssa.

I also seemed to have misremembered where Ariel (not pictured) was placed in all of this, I think Ariel was actually a precursor to Alyssa, not Athena and Alyssa merging into one character. All the drawings of Ariel that I have stop after 2010 and I don't have any drawings of Alyssa prior to 2011. When that whole thing with the blog happened, I buried both Alyssa and Athena until reviving Athena in 2015 with just red roses this time and Alyssa later in 2019. In her full rainbow glory.

I decided to revive Alyssa because someone I was friends with waaaay back in the day on Deviantart, who loved her design and drew me a bunch of gift art, asked about what happened to her. I was so honored and frankly surprised that someone remembered her and loved her design that much. We fell out of touch again after that, but I am still really grateful to them for that.

Screw the guy who told me rainbows are cringe, you are cringe and I hope you stub your toe.

Anyways I revamped almost all of my characters in 2015, Including Aaron and Athena, though Aaron had turned into something that resembled his current color scheme in 2013. But I always liked the blue, so I wanted to keep some of it. Hence the definitely not an ATLA ripoff tattoo.

Aaron also used to be a fennec fox! Since 2013 he was, hence the ears. But IDW made that confusing and he's always been super tall, which didn't make sense for an absolutely tiny creature. So it wasn't until this year that he became a dingo!

Athena's had her unbloomed outfit for the longest, 2021 is at least the earliest instance I could find of her bloomed outfit but I'm pretty sure I had the idea swimming around in my head for a while prior. I'd have to check my physical sketchbooks to be sure (thankfully I started dating most of my sketches in 2015)

Then earlier this year I. Finally. Decided to give them all proper references. I love my guys, they have been with me a very long time and they are all special to me. I am really hoping to do more with them all soon.
