Sweet Nasch!
As I sat in the bathtub that early afternoon, Camille and I thought about how we could thank Dr. Yvan. It was more than decent to show our gratitude to the Doctor for his life-saving efforts. However, since I was not sure whether I could invite Yvan to a tea society - I needed my husband's permission for that - I decided to thank the Doctor in a more impersonal but still pleasant way. "Camille...help me! What can a lady of the court give him without create a false impression? I think I acted too exaggeratedly when I kissed Yvan's hand...the Emperor said that Yvan thought of me I'm the most beautiful woman in Paris! I must revise that impression." Camille massaged soap foam into my hair, it smelled of vanilla. "You have bewitched the Doctor, Madame. There is no way to change that!" She grinned contentedly. "But to thank him impersonally, give him something that anyone would be happy about. I know a Swiss Pâtissier...he makes the most heavenly petit fours...sweet Nasch for the Doctor!" I looked at Camille with my foamed hair. "You mean sweets! Yes, he'll like that. All men like sweets!" What would I be without my bright maid! "Buy a big box of petit fours, I'll write a thank you note, and then you take it to the École Militaire!" I thought about it for a moment. The Emperor doesn't necessarily have to know. He might not like it if I gave the Doctor presents...But decency dictates it!
So the idea was born! I also decided to study books about childhood illnesses, so henceforward I would be better prepared. I never wanted to have to endure such fear for my children again, I was young enough to learn and absorb everything important for a mother. I wanted to tell the Emperor, I was sure he would support me, he had access to all publications in France, including the medical one. He would support my interest as a responsible mother. So I would ask him...but I would not bring up such topics tonight, no, not tonight! There was not going to be much talking tonight. Tonight I wanted to be nothing more than a gift for him! Un grand merci! A sweet Nasch for the Emperor! Napoléon's sweet Nasch...
Camille dried my hair with the bag-bellow, she burned a few curls into my fragrant strands and then helped me get dressed. A little rouge on my lips, no jewelry. Done! I was playing with my little one when the fiacre finally appeared. I told Camille that I would not stay overnight and that I would come back late and asked her to stay with my son for the time being. I stroked them both, turned around and ran to the fiacre. Was I a good mother? Or was I a bitch in heat? That evening - didn't you see! - I switched from one to the other within seconds! I was now just a bitch in heat...and I didn't want to be anything else! Oh, it was quite appropriate! When I entered the house in the Allée des Veuves, I immediately noticed that everything was prepared for a hot girl like me. How well the Emperor knew me by now! The house was warmly heated, candles were burning and there was a vase of red roses on the table in the garden salon. I inhaled the scent as I took off my cape. There was no card with the roses, which meant that he wanted to be there as early as possible. I went upstairs, my steps quickening as I saw the door to the bedroom. There was a fire burning here too, and golden light shone from the candelabras on the walls. I had to smile when I saw the large dark fur on the bed. The Emperor had had the fur brought here from his bedroom in the Tuileries. And I knew immediately what that meant for me! Frantically, trembling, I undressed, loosened my chignon and climbed naked onto the bed with the dark fur. I closed my eyes and let my spread fingers slide through the fur.
"You are falling asleep...without my permission, Madame?" I heard a male voice above me. It sounded like it was coming from far away. I must have fallen asleep! I opened my eyes, blinked and saw the Emperor standing next to the bed. He had taken off his cloak and was wearing riding trousers and high black boots, as if he had just returned from a campaign. But again the uniform was missing. "Ahh, that would have happened to me too...on this fur...naked...like Madame!" He leaned down to me and put his hand between my legs. His eyebrows raised in astonishment. "Sacre bleue! Madame...what were you dreaming about?" And he added quietly: "...my fingers are wet with the water of this divine spring...oh Aphrodite!" I turned around quickly and crouched down on my knees in front of him. "What I dreamed about...about you, Sire!" I beamed at him while he cheerfully remarked: "So my little Adèle can smile again?" I nodded and answered: "Yes, she can, Sire! It's so nice to be happy again!" It was indeed! And seeing him standing at the edge of the bed and smiling down at me only made me happier. Especially, because he looked the way he looked! The sight of his high black riding boots and his tight breeches drove me crazy with desire! I put my hands on his thighs and started to caress him. I had never told him what lustful desire the sight of those boots aroused in me! Now I dared to say it. "The sight of your boots seems like a reward that you are bestowing on me, Sire! A feast for the eyes that awakens my deepest desires... to be gifted by you like this! And yet it is I who should be thanking you!" I caressed his thighs again, gently touching the shaft of his boot. He looked down at me curiously. "My boots...give you lust? That's new to me, but...well!" Napoléon's eyes took on a somewhat lascivious look. His fingers ran through my hair, his voice sounded dark, warm, he spoke carefully, quietly. "But you are right, Adèle...you really do have to thank me! And you certainly know how to do that...I don't need to explain anything! You know! You know how to thank me! You just have to take what you long for! It's there, in front of you, you just have to take it, Adèle, it's all yours! Take it, my angel...it's yours!" He laughed boyishly when he saw the sweet confirmation of his words. He no longer had to ask me to take what I wanted, what I hungered for, what I was constantly thinking about! I pampered and loved him with my mouth, with my hot lips and my nimble tongue as passionately and deeply as I had never done before! I moaned, breathing heavily through my nose and looked into his wonderfully lust-distorted face. He was so delicious that I tried to suck him even deeper into me. My arms wrapped around his thighs, I pressed him tighter to me, then moved my head back and forth, he stroked my hair, his muscles trembled. Finally he lifted me up, turned my body in front of him and began to make love to me from behind with violent thrusts. Only when he came inside me with a loud moan did a blissful smile appear on his face.
"But now help me out of my boots...", he asked me shortly afterwards. I jumped off the bed and took off his wonderful boots. I kept one boot in my hand, looked cheekily at Napoléon and then kissed the black leather of the boot. "You crazy chick! Go get me a cognac...but just a small one!" I obeyed his orders, but came back with a large cognac that was to be for both of us. The Emperor was sitting on the fur, with his back leaning against the head of the bed. I climbed onto his lap and gave him the glass. He took a sip, then looked at me. "The Empress has sentenced you to anteroom duty, I heard." I nodded and he let me take a sip. "Your wife doesn't seem to want me around her. When she sees me she gets jealous. He growled in a bad mood. "...her damn jealousy! I told her what would happen if she didn't stop!" His hands stroked my breasts, he gently pinched my stiff thimbles. "...maybe it's actually better if she doesn't see you! I want a peaceful atmosphere in the palace, there are big celebrations coming up!" He first sighed again, but continued with a mischievous grin: "Properly considered, however...your new service opens up certain possibilities! If I find you alone in the anteroom we can both have fun behind the curtains. Nobody will see!" He chuckled. "...a little shag in the Empress's antechamber...!" Laughing, he took another sip of cognac. But I had to reprimand the Emperor in a sweet way. "What a naughty boy you are again, Sire! Of course we will do nothing like that! I am never alone there...a red lady is always present!" His hips pushed me up, I felt his hard member. "Foutre les servants!" he said then, but I don't think he was serious.
I put my finger on his lips. "Bad bad boy! I, on the other hand, am so well behaved! Madame d'Arberg has told me to learn German and Italian. I will try very hard..." He took another sip. "Ah yes, I know only too well what a diligent student you are...the way you just treated my crown-jewels deserves an award!" I giggled at his cheekiness. We both really enjoyed this cute way of talking. He loved it when I made him laugh, because he admitted to me that no one else did that. It made me really proud and happy that I could give him this relaxation and peacefulness. Our banter quickly aroused us both again. "Put the glass down, Adèle!" he demanded. I didn't have to think why, took the glass from his hand and put it on the floor. He grabbed my arm, pulled me back onto the bed and lay between my spread legs. "Do you love me?" he asked urgently. "Yes, I love you! So so much, my darling!" He penetrated me. "And this...do you love this? Adèle...is it beautiful?" I put my hands on his buttocks to push him deeper into me. "Yes!" We looked at each other, I noticed immediately that my satisfaction was more important to him than his own! He now wanted to be the considerate lover that was every woman’s ideal. He didn't seem to know that he had been my love-god for a long time! "Do you like that, chérie? If I pound you like that...should I pound you harder...do you like it harder....mmmh?" I nodded and answered the way he wanted to hear it. He lifted my right leg over his shoulder and watched what was happening between my legs. I could no longer keep my hips still and followed his thrusts. "You hot girl...what a gifted schoolgirl you are...don't you want to learn more?...alright, I'll show you! You told me it is the most beautiful thing in life, didn't you?...the most beautiful thing, Adèle! Tell me again, sweetheart, ...tell me again it's the most beautiful thing in life! Say it!! Ahh...you can't speak...You know what, I'm going to teach you a lot more about it! A lot more! I'll teach you, Adèle...just wait, my love!" He didn't know exactly what he was saying. We both gave in to our lust without any resistance. It was again that feeling of total ecstasy with which he overwhelmed me! I moaned, half crying with happiness, trembling with bliss. I loved him endlessly,...endlessly! And I was overcome by the same certainty, the same fear that I had experienced with my son a few days earlier - if I lost this man, this loved one, it would mean my death!

Life Could Be a Dream - Chapter 2
Live in Living Colour Series Masterlist
Masterlist
Summary: (Y/N) slowly begins to remember their life with “Pietro” before WestView as they move through the decades, but sometimes knowledge is a curse rather than a blessing.
Pairing: Pietro (Peter) Maximoff x Reader
Word Count: 1.3k
Warning: WandaVision Episode 6 spoilers! Read at your own risk!
Author’s Note: Here’s the highly requested second part to Be Okay! You don’t have to read it to understand this story, but it does fill in the gap during the 80s episode and give a little more context into the reader’s mind. Also, the reader’s powers and Halloween costume are highly based off of Starlight from the boys even though I did my best to make it gender neutral, but that’s what I kinda envisioned!
(Not My Gif!)
Your hips swayed as you danced around the kitchen, the sound of The Chords’ “Life Could Be a Dream” filled the room from the record player in the corner your beloved vinyl was spinning on. Chopping pineapple for the jell-o in the bundt mold beside you, you hummed along to the familiar tune as your feet shuffled back and forth on the checkered floor.
A whooshing sound and light breeze behind you tore your attention away from the task at hand. Turning around quickly, you were met with the smiling face of your loving boyfriend, relaxing in a chair with his feet propped up against the kitchen table. His dark jeans were complimented by a letterman jacket adorning his shoulders, his shades of grey complimenting your own and those surrounding the both of you.
“My partner and their impeccable taste in music.” He smirked, arms crossed behind his head.
“My boyfriend and his faster-than-a-bullet superspeed.” You retorted, shuffling over to your man and giving him a playful smack on the leg. “Feet off the table! We’ve gotta eat here in a few hours!”
Pietro whooshed once again, this time with one hand in your waist while the other held yours, finally slowing down enough to gently rock you to the music. Life really could be a dream, and you were experiencing it first-hand.
“What is happening? Where did this come from?!” Agent Woo asked, watching the dancing couple sway as a hexagon framed the image and the words ‘Pietro(Y/N)’ shone across the screen.
“I don’t know! When Wanda recast Pietro an extra broadcast started from inside the hex and this is what the channel’s playing.” Darcy explained, taking a sip of her long awaited coffee as the end credits began to roll. “She must have somehow created another storyline for them.”
“But, wait… Didn’t somebody say that (Y/L/N) went missing before the blip?” Monica commented, pointing at your smiling face on the screen.
“Last I heard was that they got beamed up on that spaceship in New York with Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, but nobody’s seen them since.” Jimmy added, crossing his arms with a furrowed brow.
“Well wherever they were, they’re back in action.”
You woke up with a gasp, shooting straight up as a cold sweat adorned your body. Your nightmare had been something that you couldn’t believe your mind had imagined, it was so real, so dark…
You had been on a strange planet surrounded by shades or orange and red, weirdly dressed people fighting all around you. At the centre of it all was this purple giant, a metallic glove adorning his hand as he fought the group of you away.
Before you knew what you were doing you were rushing towards him, hand raised as a tingling feeling ran down your arm while golden light formed around your hand. But your attack was to no avail as with a clench of his fist the giant had opened a red hole in front of you and you began free falling.
“What? What is it?” Pietro grumbled, slowly waking up at your sudden outburst. He sat up as well, rubbing his hand on your lower back soothingly.
“It was just a dream, babe.” You brushed it off, turning to face Pietro and leaning closer towards him. His eyes still held worry and a bit of disbelief as you played it off, but rather than argue, he just held you close as the two of you laid back down until sleep took it’s hold once more.
“How much longer ‘till he calls?” Darcy whined, spinning in her chair as the boredom of watching reruns overtook her. You and Peter had just finished your ‘80s episode, meaning that the two of you had just reunited with Wanda and Vision.
“Don’t worry, he’ll call.” Monica replied, and as if on cue the name ‘Jimmy Woo’ was flashing upon her phone screen. She was quick to answer and eagerly pressed the device to her ear. “Woo? What’d your guy say?”
“Scott said that (Y/N) hasn’t been seen since they were on a planet called Titan fighting Thanos. Stark apparently told him that they got tossed in some hole he opened and they couldn’t get them back.” Jimmy explained, the sound of a car moving filling the background as he was already on his way back from talking to Lang.
“You don’t think that he sent her to wherever this new Pietro came from, do you?” Monica responded, Darcy shrugging her shoulders in response.
“I mean, it’s well within the realm of possibilities?”
“What are you boys doing?” You called from the bottom of the stairs to where Pietro and the twins were playing some video game on the tv, laughing and shouting as they shot at each other. “Piet, why aren’t you in your costume?”
Your boyfriend finally turned to face you and your Halloween costume had his jaw quite literally dropping. You adorned a white costume with a golden star and accents on the front, meanwhile your cape was white with countless smaller stars decorating it’s entirety.
“Wow! Babe, you look… Wow!” He ogled, speeding over to you as his eyes took in your costumed appearance. He ignored your question, Wanda having to bug her brother once more for him to drag Tommy with him to make their matching Quicksilver costumes, their hair slicked up on the sides in an odd way.
Before you knew it the five of you were making your way down the street bustling with costumed kids. Pietro and Wanda were a couple steps ahead of you with the twins, you making the decision to take a minute to appreciate your domestic life while the siblings caught up.
“Unleash hell, demon spawn!” Pietro yelled as the twins went running off to fill their buckets with candy. You weren’t trying to eavesdrop, however you weren’t very far behind them and neither twin was making any effort to speak quietly.
“Do you remember when we were at the orphanage when mom and dad died?” She asked, the duo stopping to talk to each other in the middle of the busy road. While you didn’t intend to stop yourself, the sudden confusion that struck your mind left you no other choice.
Orphanage? Why would Peter have ever been in an orphanage when both his parents were still alive? Wait, Peter? Where was all this coming from?
Suddenly your life was quite literally flashing before your eyes. Getting your powers, joining the Avengers, falling through the portal to another reality, meeting the X-Men… Oh, and Peter. Your relationship with Peter came back in moments, from your first meeting to the day he kissed you after you almost died on a mission. And how could you ever have forgotten your wedding day?!
“Peter?” You asked out loud. Whether you were calling out to the man who you now remember to be your husband or questioning the memories that you had just regained you weren’t sure.
Your sudden comment caused Peter/Pietro to scoff in disbelief and furrow his brows, meanwhile Wanda’s expression darkened as her eyes glared daggers into your head.
“Did you just call me Peter?” He asked incredulously, but his face quickly softened as he saw the fear in your eyes. You were utterly dumbfounded, How did you get back here? Last thing you remembered was being at the school, then all of a sudden you were living in some sit-com town.
“Why doesn’t he remember me? Wanda, what have you done?” Your voice wavered, your gaze shifting from Peter to Wanda, who would have already murdered you if looks could kill.
“I have no idea what you're talking about.” Her eyes flashed red, meanwhile Peter was standing there as if everything around him was completely normal.
“I think you do. Don’t make me do this, Wanda.” Your eyes began glowing as well. There was no way this would be ending well.

𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒚, 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒆
Phobos x gn!Reader
Word count: 599 ⚠️TW: Yandere themes, kidnapping and imprisonments.
MadCom Masterlist | AO3
A/N: Ideas from @sweetie-vee post here (with permission). Look, after observing Phobos’ speech pattern from M:PN I don’t think I can replicate that but I’ll try my best. I’ve never actually played the game, only seen some clips of it so if there are some inaccuracies, lmk.
Summary: The rules were simple: You praise and love your emperor as he pleases and you will be rewarded.
The pipes gurgled and rumbled in the darkness; judging by the loud echoes, you'd assumed the room was empty and huge with the sounds bouncing off of the walls. The darkness was total but you relied on the small crack light from the tower hallway, outside of the dark abyss imprisonment that seeped through the gaps of the door. You wouldn’t have to worry about tripping over in the pitch blackness, since you were chained by the wrist into one place, with no hopes of escaping. You tried not to breathe too much in as the air was stale with a strong metallic scent that made you gag.
Who knows how long you’ve been there? Hours? Weeks? You lost your sense of time moments after you’ve been slammed in here. Moments after…
You heard heavy boots hitting against vinyl flooring and increased in volume as it got closer and closer. Eventually, the door that allowed your source of light and comfort, abruptly swang open, groaning as two broad silhouettes came into view. You had to squint your eyes from the fluorescent lighting in the hall outside blared in your face. Both silhouettes approached you, their Nexus soldier uniform now clear and unlocked the cuffs that chained you. You gently massaged your wrists that were sore from being under the chunky cuffs for so long.
“The Director asked us to escort you back.” One of the soldiers informed you. His voice was gravelly and you complied. They led you to the large elevator and pressed the top floor. The elevator hummed through the silence as it ascended up, with occasional stops to pick up the other Nexus scientists. You eyed them as they frantically flipped through the clipboard in their hand and scratched their heads from stress and confusion, before leaving to their designated floor. Clearly oblivious to who you were and why you were here.
It felt like hours but finally you reached the top floor. You heard the elevator ding before the doors opened. Your stomach twisted with anxiety and the feeling increased by ten folds the closer you went. Your heart thudded in your chest as your mind was racing with thoughts on what would happen next. What would your emperor do to you? What if that wasn’t the end? Wasn’t imprisonment in the dark cell enough punishment? You pictured him towering over you with authority and it made your knees weak.
Why did time feel so much slower? You finally saw him. The same man who took you and called you his, who owned the Nexus Core. He had the whole organisation wrapped around his fingers and made sure that they kept an eye on you, making sure you don’t step out of line.
His long cape draped over his back and slightly dragged on the floor, leaving his trail of pride. “Come forth!” his voice boomed, piercing through the silent tension like a blade through bare skin. It took extra effort to step forward since your legs felt like jelly, like you’d lose balance at any moment. A moment later your emperor, Phobos, turned to face you. His face was bandaged, hiding all the scars around his mouth and he wore a one eyed goggle, with the lens glistening red.
He stepped forward until he was an arms length away. You tried not to breathe too heavily as you anticipated what would happen next. The rules were simple: you praised and loved your emperor as he pleases and you will be rewarded. But how will you handle him breathing down your neck all the time?
Feedback is appreciated 🤍 Horrible ending I know, I just didn’t know what else to add
Oh yeah lmk if you wanna be tagged in my next MadCom fic!!

HarryWeen: Home Edition
Based Off Of This Ask
And This One
This One Too
A/N: Spooky szn has come to an end...but it’s going out with a bang. This bitch right here is hot as fuck and y’all have been waiting for this one. My 🐱is quaking and yours will be too once you’re done reading it...hopefully😭. Enjoy🙃
4.1k wordsss
The day you’d been anticipating for the past month and a half was here. It was finally Halloween! Since you two and everyone else in the world were living in the midst of a pandemic, you made sure to put forth the effort to really enjoy this Halloween to the fullest. Harry’s “Harryween” show was canceled because of it, and you couldn’t go out to Halloween parties because it wasn’t safe at all. So with all of that in mind, there was only one option left; the two of you could have your own little party at home. Which is exactly what you were planning on doing. And since you and Harry loved role playing, it was kind of a given that you two would go out for this holiday in particular. Mainly you though. You started preparing and planning in the middle of September. You went down you guys’ role play list and you scoured the internet until you found the perfect idea for yours and Harry’s costumes. When you started searching for costumes for yourself, hoping that you’d find some type of inspiration, you stumbled across the perfect red riding hood outfit. So naturally, you were already planning for you to take over the red riding hood role, and for Harry to take over being the big bad wolf. And once you figured that out, the entire process of picking and choosing things for your costumes went smoothly. Once you placed your orders, all you had to do then was wait in anticipation.
Fast forward to today and you were finally going to put on your costume that you only took a quick peek at when they arrived in the mail and get Halloween started. Now you decided to give Harry a bit of a surprise and not tell him what you had planned for costumes. All you told him was that he was going to love it and to just put on whatever you laid out for him. While you did the absolute most with your red riding hood get up, you didn’t do so much for Harry’s werewolf costume. You didn’t want it to be crazy extra or over the top, that was your job. You just wanted him to be hot. And since he already had that down, you pretty much picked what he was wearing from his closet except for little more specific things. You on the other hand were going all in with your costume. You thought of just about everything when making your purchases. For starters, you found the most perfect red riding hood costume out there. The red, white, and black dress hit right above the middle of your thighs and it rose even higher in the back which was perfect. The dress itself had everything you wanted and was amazingly detailed. The entire dress was satin with a very low and frilly top half, a corset in the middle with a monochrome floral pattern lining the sides to cinch your waist a bit, and the skirt portion had a little bit of a layered effect which allowed for there to be a sea of ruffles underneath to help billow the skirt out a bit and add a touch of innocence to the not so innocent look. To make this look even better, you threw in a couple more items. You couldn’t be little red riding hood without the infamous red cape, so you found the perfect hooded cape that tied in the front and went all the way down to the floor. You also threw in a pair of white thigh highs with black satin bows on the upper bands, a shiny new princess plug with ruby red jewel heart on top (you couldn’t have too many of those), and a lacy little red g string to tie everything underneath together. And to get a real idea of how perfect everything was, the g string was so small that your pussy was barely staying in, and your ass had practically swallowed up the little string in the back. You were so glad that Harry was going to rip it off later on. To round out the entire look, you bought a cute little basket to give it all a little bit more innocence and a pair of long stain gloves. You pulled your patent leather heels from the closet and you did something really simple and cute with the hair and makeup to really drive Harry crazy.
Once you were all done putting the pieces together, tightening and pulling things things into their proper places, and creating this look, you couldn’t believe your eyes. You were completely taken aback at how good you looked and you couldn’t wait to get an even stronger reaction from Harry once you showed him. Since you were keeping the whole surprise thing going, you laid everything out for him in the room next to yours so that you could get dressed separately and do a little reveal before taking some pictures. You do a final once over of yourself before grabbing your phone and the little things you got to round out Harry’s costume and heading over into the next room. As if he could just sense your presence, Harry’s head quickly lifts up from his phone and brings his undivided attention onto you.
“Holy shit!” He gawks, quickly moving himself to the foot of the bed so that he could get a better look at you.
“You like?” You ask, quickly sitting the items in your hands down onto the bed do that you can pull the cape away from the back and do a little twirl for him.
“You look amazing.” He whispers dumbfoundedly. There were no words to describe what was going through Harry’s head. From the moment he laid his eyes on you, his mind was flooded with the filthy things he wanted to do to you. He was also excited to role-play with you a bit. He never really thought about doing little red riding hood and the big bad wolf but he was very happy that you did because this was crazy hot.
“I’m glad you like it.” You reply happily, coming in closer to him.
“M’just trying to figure out why my costume is so simple.” He asks amusedly, pulling you closer between his legs.
“I didn’t want it to be costumey, I just wanted it to be hot. And the tattered red plaid and ripped blue denim was the only werewolf costume inspo I could find.” You say simply, moving yourself onto him so that you’re straddling his thigh. “Plus I didn’t want to be scared while you’re fucking me. But I did buy you some fangs and one of those werewolf mask things.” You continue, reaching over to grab the two items.
“I think I’ll stick to the fangs.” He chooses, taking the fangs from your hand.
“Can you just wear it for one picture please?” You ask sweetly, sitting the mask down wrap your arms around his shoulders.
“Fine, but only if you let me do anything I want to you tonight.” Harry bargains, bringing his hands down to your thighs.
“Of course daddy.” You readily agree.
“Good. Now as much as I like having those tits in my face, we should probably head downstairs because the longer you’re on me like this, the harder it’s going to be to get those pictures you want.”
“Then let’s go.” You reply, bringing your feet back to the floor before standing up in front of him. You then proceed to waste no time grabbing your things from the bed, pulling Harry up as well and walking you both out of the room.
Now it was time to set everything up. You wanted perfect photos so you took out the tripod and clicker so that the photos could be perfect and so that this process could be hurried along to the fun stuff. After finally positioning the camera in a way that has the best lighting that flatters you both, and figuring out the cameras timer, you and Harry take some pictures of the both of you in your costumes. You were able to get some photos of just yourself, some cute coupely photos that you were definitely going to post on Instagram, the one picture of Harry in the mask, and you also got some that were definitely going into your archive of more nsfw photos. When you took the cape off to get some pictures of the actual outfit, Harry’s hands were all over you. When the final second markers flashed across the phone screen, Harry’d spring into action and do something inappropriate. In one of the photos, he randomly pulls you up into his arms, squeezing his hands into the flesh of your ass, and lightly sinking his teeth into your neck. Another time, he stood behind you and just as the time began to wind down, he reached around you to push his hand up the front of your skirt to cup your barely covers pussy and used the other to cup one of your breasts all while keeping you tight against him with his face in your neck. Every time he did this your pussy got wetter and you got more excited for what was going to happen a little later. Luckily for you, a little later wasn’t going to be that much later. When you bend down to undo your heels after you two were done taking pictures, you gave Harry a full view of what was going on underneath your dress. Your fleshy thighs and ass spread perfectly so that he could see the princess plug and the practically nonexistent panties you had on. Seeing that on top of being teased for what was going on an hour was more than just getting to him. Harry was fired up and he couldn’t take it any longer. So once your shoes were completely off and you were no longer using the wall for support, he quickly pushes you against it, leaving no space between you two. And before he even says a word to you, Harry brings one of his hands up to wrap around your throat and he moves the other down and up your skirt to toy at the plug that was pushed into you.
“’Now we’re gonna play a little game. I’m gonna let you run away, and you better be prepared for me to catch you.” Harry growls into your ear, tightening his grip on your throat. In that moment, he just wanted to fuck his cock into you and just pound you right into the wall. You managed to look like a sweet innocent girl and a filthy slut at the same time. Harry could barely wrap his head around it all. The only thing he knew was that he was definitely going to have some fun with you tonight. “Understand?” He asks, keeping his grip on your throat. You could barely form a word because of his tight grip on you so the only response you gave him was a pitiful nod yes and a whimper, causing him to let go of you completely. “Now run.” He growls, moving back to let you go and get a little head start. And once he does, you’re off. You didn’t even pay attention to where you were going you just went. Your entire body was on fire from his authoritativeness and you wanted him to make a mess out of you. Like no breaks, just back to back pounding and licking into you. You started off in the living room and you made it to the kitchen and the hallway leading to the laundry room. Before you could even decide which way to turn, Harry has his arms tightly around you and is dragging you both over to the kitchen island where he turns you around and hoists you up onto the cool surface. His hand goes back around your throat, he pulls your forward, and leans in to close the gap between his mouth and your ear. “I caught you.” He whispers cynically before pushing your upper body down against the counter.
He then pulls you a little closer to the edge so that he could easily fuck into you before pushing the bottom of your dress up to reveal your skimpy panties. When he sees the tiny string completely enveloped by your puffy and wet cunt, Harry can feel his cock instantly twitch in his pants. Your cunt was so plushy and puffy on the outside, (as well as inside) so seeing the thin strip pushing in between your lips was definitely a sight he’d never get out of his mind.
“Aww, was little red not able to find panties to fit her pussy?” He asks condescendingly with a smirk spread across his face before snapping the flimsy fabric off of you. When he lifts it up to inspect, he can see the darker spots where you drenched them with your juices. So since your mouth hung open because of his grip on your throat, Harry simply lowers the panties down into your mouth, allowing you to taste yourself while he fucks you. He then uses his free hand to swiftly undo his pants and release his cock from his pants. Instead of giving himself a couple tugs, he pushes his hard cock right into you. As he pushes in, your toes are curling as tight as they possibly can. His large cock pushing you apart felt so good. Even the grip on your throat felt good. As he enters into you, you could hear his moans and growls as his cock is enveloped with your pussy. “Fuck! Such a good cunt.” He groans, pushing in the rest of the way before beginning his thrusts. He quickly shoves his hips back and forth against you, thrusting his cock in and out of your cunt. You felt like you were floating; his hand was around your throat and he was fucking you hard against the counter. You couldn’t believe how bad you needed him to pound into you like this. He was relentless with his thrusts and didn’t stop pounding into you or circling his thumb around your clit. It was like he was addicted to fucking your walls. Once he pushes in, he just can’t stop. He loved the way you let out the most pathetic whimpers as he enjoyed your spongy walls around his cock.
As he continues to thrust into you, you can feel your sweet spot deep inside you beginning to warm up in the pit of your stomach. The way he continuously thrusted into you and circled his thumb around your clit was absolutely insane. He had you right in the edge of your release, and you couldn’t wait to fall right over into it. While you were clenching around him and squirming in his grip, Harry too was feeling his release bubbling up inside of him. He could feel your walls tightening with every thrust he made and he could also feel you becoming wetter and warmer as he continued on which meant that he was on the edge as well.
“Should the big bad wolf let you cum?” He grunts, loosening the grip on your throat and slowing down his hips to deliver deep and sharp thrusts into your cunt.
“Please!” You beg. You felt like you were about to explode.
“Cum!” He grunts loudly, slamming into you once more and holding himself right against you as he emptied himself into you for the first time of the night. And as he lets go, so do you. Your walls rapidly contract around him as you just let go around as well. After he’s completely done riding the wave of his release, Harry pulls his cock out of you and bends down towards your cunt. Your legs were limply spread against the counter so he takes this opportunity to just dig right in. He opens his mouth wide and goes right into licking into your freshly fucked pussy. Since you were still recovering from your first release, you were extremely sensitive. So having his mouth on you so soon was definitely a shock. Your hands went straight to his hair in an attempt to push him away a bit.
“Oh my-Fuck!” You whine out feeling his tongue go deeper despite your pushes. When you continue pushing at his head and squirming, Harry pulls away from your cunt and stand up to tower over you. He then reaches out and cups your throat again, only this time, he pushes down to pin your head back against the counter.
“When i eat you out, don’t fucking run away from me. Don’t push my head away. Run, Im pulling your ass back. Touch me, i growl at your ass. Do not disturb me when I’m eating.” He snarls, making sure to get his point across to you. “Was gonna make you cum again, but since you obviously don’t deserve it, you’re gonna make me cum instead.” He continues, releasing his grip from you and pulling you down from the countertop. “Now on your knees.” He instructs.
“Yes daddy.” You reply submissively, quickly dropping down to your knees in front of him.
“Open.” He further instructs, wrapping his hand around his cock that was still hard. He couldn’t get enough of you. When your mouth is parted wide, Harry steps a bit closer to you before pushing his entire length into your open mouth. As he travels past your tongue and down your throat, you gag a little and you try to rest your hands against his thighs to stop him but he quickly slaps them away. “Stop trying to fight me. A little girl like you shouldn’t be playing with wolves like me.” He growls, nudging at your throat a bit to get you to gag around him again which causes him to chuckle a bit. He holds himself there for a few more seconds before pulling out of your mouth and letting you catch a breath. When you’re all caught up, you go in to take him back inside but he steps back a little, causing you to crawl forward a bit. “That’s it little girl, crawl for daddy’s cock.” He taunts, watching you inch closer on your hands and knees with every step he takes.
Once you’re full on crawling, Harry’s losing his mind. You look like a complete fiend for his cock as you continue to follow him. He could just imagine how wet your cunt was as you followed his cock. To make it even worse, your ample cleavage was spilling right out of your dress. They were just calling out to him to grab them in his hands and just squeeze and play with them. As you crawled, Harry continued on making little remarks about how much of a cockslut you were for him and how pretty you looked on your knees. Meanwhile, your focus was directly on the hard and glistening cock right in front of you. You just wanted to feel him in your mouth again. After a little more crawling, the two of you make it back to the living room where it all began. He manages to move you both around so that you’re in between the side of the couch, and his towering body. Without waiting much longer, Harry grabs the back of your neck and he pulls you forward and back onto his cock. He wraps a hand in your hair and begins to thrust in and out of your mouth, listening to your moans and gags aground him. Your mouth and throat felt impeccable around his cock. Again, you were warm and wet which was all he could ever ask for when it came to your mouth. Because he was tugging at his cock as he lured you back into the living room, Harry was pretty worked up by now. This meant that he was really close to letting go again. And just as he does, Harry pulls his cock from your throat so that he could be right on your tongue and flood your mouth with his cum.
“Fuck!” He growls loudly, keeping his grip on your hair tight as he lets go. Spurt after spurt he floods your mouth with his thick cum. He came so much that it began to drip out of the corner of your mouth. Right now you were starting to wish you hadn’t tried to push his head away. Once he calms himself down a bit from his release, he pulls his cock from your mouth, unwraps his hand from your hair, and grabs you by your forearm to lift you up from the floor. You looked so pretty with your watery eyes and cum on your face that he couldn’t help but go one more time.
Without warning, Harry quickly lifts you up into his arms and rushes you both upstairs to the bedroom. Once inside, he drops you onto the bed and quickly removes every piece of clothing on his body along with the before moving onto you. He pulls at the strings at the front of your dress to loosen it from your body beef pulling it off and tossing it behind him. He pulls the gloves from your hands as well and leaves the stockings on because why not and then crawls onto the bed. Then he pulls your hips up and positions himself behind you so that he’s nudging at your entrance.
“Please daddy!” You whine out to him, pushing back in his direction, trying to sink his cock into you. You really wanted to feel his cock and cum again.
After watching you beg and move around a little bit more, Harry finally gives in and pushes into you. It felt so good, you herein need of a second release and you were finally going to get it. As he quickly thrusts himself in and out of you, Harry decides to play with your second hole a bit. Continuing his thrusts, he wraps his fingers around the top of the plug and he slowly pulls it out of you. He watches as your hole seizes back up and listens to your desperate moans get louder because he’s done this. He then spits down onto your hole and pushes the tip of the plug around there area to spread it.
“Oh my god!” You scream, feeling him go even deeper.
“Feeling good babygirl?” He asks nonchalantly through his own pants and moans, keeping his attention on teasing your second hole and watching the flesh of your ass move in synch with his thrusts.
“So good. M’gonna cum.” You slur, as you feel yourself becoming lightheaded from the massive release that was fast approaching.
“Wanna cum on daddy’s cock?” He asks, pushing the plug back into you in the process and continuing to thrust into you.
“Please” Whine softly. When Harry hears you respond in that way, he can tell that you’re about to have a really big release. So he pulls himself out of you and in one swift motion your flipped onto your back with Harry between your legs. He wastes no time pushing back into you and slamming in as hard and as fast as he can go. As he does, he can see that your eyes are watery and rolled back, and you have a little bit of drool forming in the corner of your mouth.
“You look so pretty getting fucked stupid babydoll, milking my cock for all I have, such a good girl.” He praises, slamming down onto you and feeling his third and definitely final release creeping up on him. “Daddy loves his stupid little girl.” He hums shakily, feeling himself nearing the edge as well. When his thrusts become staggered, Harry realizes that he can’t hold it anymore. “Now be a good girl and cum with daddy.” He grunts, stilling himself inside of you for the final time of the night and emptying whatever drops of cum are left in his body. And while he lets go, so do you. But yours is much more intense. Your body is full on quaking as you not only let go but also squirt all over him. The fact that he was hitting that sweet spot over and over again and the fact that you were desperately in need of a second release catapulted you right over the edge and into a powerful release.
Once he’s completely done, Harry collapses right onto the bed next to you. The both of you were deep into your post orgasm comas and you were going to be there for a good while too. There was just a lot for your bodies and minds to process.
Maybe being stuck inside for Halloween wasn’t so bad after all.

Danny was just as wild as his brothers, if not more. This teen made his power naps look like power winks. Logically, Danny should still feel groggy, fatigued, and yet... He just watched him mount the rampaging wolf-moose like a bull at a rodeo without much effort. “Coming your way!” Danny was riding on the back of the moose-wolf. His thermos was on his hip, as he steered the moose-wolf with its antlers.
Tim snapped out of his stupor, and got Nightwing's baton ready. The electricity was green now. The bat-a-rangs worked against the ghost, as a few stayed stuck on its hips. Danny waited, until the last moment to bail off the moose-wolf, not wanting to be shocked himself. He rolled on the ground, while Red Robin landed a hit on the ghost. The ghost cried out and sunk under the ground. Their make shift weapons were working better than expected. “Robin's never going to forgive you.” Danny shrugged as he pulled out the sword. “Eh, I'll take my chances-whoa.” Danny barely dodging the moose-wolf by turning intangible. His body shook, reminding him that wasn't a good idea. “Really don't like people, huh? Can't say I blame you. Especially since the one that did thatto you is a creep. But can you cut us some slack?” Tim raised a brow as Danny stretched his smack talk. The moose-wolf charged again. “No? Alright, guess I have to do it for ya!” Danny hoped his instincts were right, they usually were. He sliced at the ghost as it charged right through him. The moose-wolf stumbled a few steps forwards, then knelled over with a cry. Danny grinned widely, bouncing in place, “AHA! It worked! Ah- oh no-” Tim caught the sword that slipped out of Danny's fingers, using his cape to protect himself from being cut. He noticed how close the sword was to slicing the boy's hand off. He frowned at Danny, who chuckled weakly. “Oops... but uh.. hey it worked.” “Weren't you going to capture the ghost?” Batman grunted from where he stood. He was forced to watch from the side lines, ghost shield in his hands. It was currently turned off so they could try to see how effective their weapons were. Batman wondered how reckless Danny was when he's at 100%, considering how careful he was when they started and how reckless he was now. Speedy recovery to list of things Danny could do. Definitely had to give him some combat training and possible a lecture about it. “Oh right! Shoot.” Danny popped off the lid to the thermos and sucked up the moose-wolf once and for all. He almost felt bad for it. Almost. It did try to run down his sister. Maybe once he got it into the ghost zone, it'll calm down. “Does capturing it in that, harm the ghost?” Tim glancing over at the device, curious. Danny screwing on the lid, looking a bit shocked at being asked that. “Uhhh, well It didn't hurt me when I've gotten sucked into it. Its more like a sensory deprivation tank, except in a cramp space. Annoying to be stuck in, perfect for time-outsession.” They opened their mouths to ask, but Danny cut them off- “And before you ask, most of the time I've gotten sucked into it, was Jazz's fault. She use to have terrible aim...” Danny furrowed his brows at the thought. She's gotten way better then last time he saw her shoot anything. All those times she went to the shooting gallery must have helped, not that she knew that he knew. He didn't trust the creep she said she was tutoring. Sam berated him for it, but when anyone can be a ghost or a creep... or both, Danny wasn't going to take the chance. Batman and Red Robin took note that the thermos can be used on a half-ghost. Tim was thinking of needing to use that on Danny when he gets in over his head, considering what he witness from combat. It might come up. Batman on the other hand, was thinking more about his theory. He didn't want to be as blunt as he was earlier. Still, he wanted to confirm it. Hmm. “Do you release the ghost once it's captured?” “Well, yeah... N-not into this world if that's what you're thinking. I send them back into the ghost zone. Its where they come from.” Danny rubbing the back of his neck. “Ghost zone?” Tim mumbled. “Its an entire dimension made up of ectoplasm.” Batman nodded. “How long are you planning to keep that one in there?” “Depends on how long it takes me to get to a portal, though to be honest I rather it be sooner than later.” Danny figured he was just curious with how he dealt with his villains... since they were already dead and they couldn't be charged.
“Hoping I can convince them to ram down Plasmius instead.” “And how long will you keep Vlad in there?” “Ugh, that crazed fruitloop can stay-...............” Danny squinted his eyes at Batman, feeling betrayed. “Wait, Vlad's a half-ghost?!” Tim was trying to revisit all the puzzle pieces to figure out how Batman came to that conclusion. Danny glanced between them, biting his lip. He gritted his teeth with a groan, “You CAN NOT tell anyone that! Don't even let him know you know! I'm serious! My secrets one thing, BUT-” “Why do you want to keep his secret?” “Because he keeps mine! Its like a truce between us! He doesn't out me, I don't out him.” “But he abuses that power to take you by surprise.” “I-I....” Danny's face scrunched up, as he felt the sting of that statement. He looked off to the side, rubbing his arm as mulled it over. Was it his fault that-? No, no. Listen to the little Jazz voice in your head. Its not your fault Vlad chooses to do what he does. Danny sighed, shaking his head. He looked back up at them. They already knew, so he might as well explained more.. He didn't like opening up so much. Felt.. weird. “...Look. Halfa's are not common. In Fact, me and Vlad are the only ones that exist like each other.” He was leaving out Dani for now, he'll tell them more after they've known each other for a while. After he felt like his trust in them was right. Danny rather have her permission first too, she deserve a choice. She was free, like an elf. Plus he technically wasn't lying, as Danielle was always half-ghost. She wasn't the same as they were, despite being his clone. “You feel, kinship?” “No? Maybe.. I feel sort of... bad for him. If that makes sense. I shouldn't because he's a kook who really needs to back the fu-frick off, and stop trying to kill my Dad and hitting on my Mom. But.. I understand why he's angry at my Dad..” Danny didn't want to admit it, but he felt the urge to blame his parents or his friends for the accident. Maybe it was a ghost thing. “They're kind of the reason he's like this. It was an accident, but a preventable one.” “Similar to yours?” “Don't push it.” Danny's eyes flashed green, which Danny was unaware of. His angry eyes, Vlad liked to call them. Batman nodded, seeing Danny's eyes flash green, reminded him of Jason. He knew better than to press, besides Danny's warning gave him all he needed to know. It was similar, perhaps too similar. Also, recalling what he had heard, Vlad and Danny's relationship was complicated... there was a lot of history, he knew couldn't be unpacked, but it was a start. He'll have Babara do a background check on Masters again. Even if he couldn't be charged with crimes as his ghostly persona, perhaps he slipped up somewhere, so that he can be charged as Vlad. Tim blinked, he was trying to wrap his head in all this. Vlad Masters was a half-ghost, like Danny. He went to college with Danny's parents. Danny's Dad was the cause of an accident that caused Masters to turn into one. Accident... like.. Tim felt an unpleasant turn in his stomach. He didn't blame Danny on ending the conversation. Though he had a hard time figuring out as to how Danny could feel sympathy for someone who threatened and actively attacked his family. Reminded him too much of a certain someone. Maybe there was small pieces that Danny couldn't reveal, or is it really that lonely being a half-ghost. The silence that filled the air was getting awkward. Tim glancing at Danny then Bruce, made him realize neither was going to break the silence. Batman was too wrapped up in his head, and probably feeling a little remorseful for poking Danny too much. And Danny's silence was reasonable. “Soo, um, your eyes are green?” Tim asked. Maybe he can turn this situation around and still win that bet. They did flash green. Didn't hurt to try. Danny raised a brow then grinned, “Halfof the time.” “Sweet. Now can you say that again with proof, over the comms later.” “....why?” “They have made bets about you.” Batman sighed, though partially was thankful for his kids antics,
as it seemed to brighten Danny's mood again. “What?! And you didn't tell me earlier? Man, I would have bet on that I was dead!” “But... you're not..” Least not fully, or that what Tim gathered from Danny, “Wouldn't you have lost then?” “Yeah, but it be funny.” ---uwu “You weren't kidding,” Jason stomped on the metal plate, water splashing into Damian's face with his stomp. Damian growled wiping his face clean. “I hardly do.” Jazz hummed as she stood on dry land. She didn't feel like getting wet again. Cass was surveying the tree lines around the bank. The sun was warming up the sky and trees with its light, though it could not be seen itself. It made it a bit easier to look over the area, but the green lights that glowed in the lake were no longer as visible. Dick was examining the tracks, making sure Jazz's assessment was correct. They ended right up to the plate. He stood up, and pulled out a scanner. Even if it glitched, it should give them a better idea. He plucked a device off of the scanner and tossed it into the water, letting it get a better view of below. The scanner revealed roughly what was below the surface. “Hey, look at this.” Dick usher everyone close, pointing out to the map it created. There was glitched spots in the image, but still showed the basic shape of the structure. “Tunnels. So this raises up into a lift.” “It would have to be pretty big to fit the GAV.” The device got closer to the island, revealing an upside down castle like shape under the surface of the water. “He certainly has an aesthetic.” “I think he's just compensating.” “Both are accurate assumptions.” Jazz smirk. “Can we hack the lift from here?” “No, its water tight.” Jason kicking the mechanism with the heel of his boot. “You're certain this is a lab?” Dick wanting to double check to make sure what kind of place they were trying to break into. Jazz thought for a moment then nodded, “We know where he normally resides as far as.. 'living' goes. And, Considering the ghosts we saw, it'll only make sense if this is where he experimented on them.” “...the ghosts.. do not roam here... naturally?” Jazz shook her head, smiling gently at Damian. He reminded her of Danny a little bit. Just him being small and cute. She had to resist her urge to show affection by squeezing him into a hug, but Jazz didn't think he would appreciate it. “Plasmius, more than likely, turned the animals here into ghosts. He has done something similar before. Or at least that's what Danny's told me.” Damian went silent as he took that in. Then a rage burned, pulling out the roasting stick. “...He shall be the one roasting.” “Little bird, priorities first! Got to find a way in. A lab, or any base really, needs a lot of ventilation to operate without problems.” Dick looked over his scanner, calling the device to come back to shore. Meaning there must be vents they can access nearby. Jason looked towards the small rocky island in the water. If there was a good place to have a vent, it be on that island. At least a main one. If not a vent, it still was directly above the castle. “Brought a way to cross the water or do we gotta swim?” Dick patted his suit down, then sheepishly smiled. “Sorry Little Wing, we got to paddle like water fowl.” Jason rolled his eyes, then stretched. He prepared to jump in- only for the pit to swirl, causing him to halt. A large ghost catfish jumped out of the water swallowing the device that Dick was trying to call back. Splashing back into it and disappearing into the dark water. “........” “.......................cat's got you-” “Shut it!” Guess they were stuck looking for a way in from the shore, or finding a way to cross without being swallowed by the giant catfish ghost. “Found one!” Cass had been searching along the banks, finding a vent further into the treeline, being concealed by a bush. Everyone made their way over to the vent. Peering at the metal grate. Dick and Jason lifting the grate off and chucking it aside. “Isn't it a bit small?” “Perhaps for you.” “Wait Robin-” Damian
already jumped into the vent. He was tired of waiting, especially now he wanted to make Plasmius suffer and feel the wraith of those animals- He let out an omph as he felt something fall on top of him. Jazz's sisterly instincts caught up to her, as she fell down the vent. Honestly she was a bit surprised she fit in it.. was she that tiny. Maybe she should workout more. Or eat more.. or both. “Get off- of me!” “O-oops sorry.” It was a bit tight but she was able to lift herself up enough so Damian could crawl out in front of her. “Are you alright?!” “We're fine!” “Imbecile fell on top of me.” Okay, scratch the whole remind her of Danny thing. Robin was definitely not as cute as her little brother was. Dick sighed, hand over his chest. Jazz had reached out for Damian before he could even react. Now they were both in the vent. Great job Dick. Jason rubbed his head, having rammed it into Dick's when they both tried to grab for Jazz. These kids really lived off of pure instinct. Cass just measuring the vent with her hands to see if she could fit down it. “Tt. I don't have time for this.” Damian turned on night vision on his mask, and crawled forward. “W-wait. Where are you-” Damian ignore the girl as he moved on. Letting his brothers and Cass deal with getting the girl out. “Robin, return at sign of danger. Don't try to fight Plasmius alone, he can duplicate.” Dick called over the comms, the frustrated pant in his voice. “I am aware.” “I mean it little bird! Try to hack into the tunnels.” “I am not incompetent, I know what to do.” Damian growled, being treated like a child really got on his nerves. “Right... Um.. uh one.. one more thing, though.” “Tt.” Damian was tempted to shut off his earpiece. He paused hearing the sound echoing in the vent. “Keep an eye out for Jazz.” Damian groaned as he realized that sound was the redheaded Fenton. Already she was his least favorite out of them.

Interdimensional Moms: Bonus
Part 4 here<-
After many tears and tissue boxes, all members of team RWBY had finally stopped crying. Blake was the best off with her eyes a little red while Ruby was the complete opposite. The girl’s face was still rather red and her eyes were puffy. She hadn’t even completely stopped sniffling yet; much like tear marked partner. Yang on the other hand rested her head on the table. She had cried hard enough to giver herself a minor headache. She was completely drained.
Yang:Ugh, this blows! I thought this was gonna be a fun learning experience.
Blake:We definitely learned. It just so happens we had to poke at some.... extremely sensitive topics.
Weiss:I’m all for looking inward and self reflection but I’ve had my fill.
Ruby:Same. Should’ve kept the summary light.
Yang:No, I’m glad you got that off your chest. We just need a way to lighten the mood.
Blake:.....I kicked Weiss’s butt in a tournament.
RWY:......What?
Blake:During the time spent training for Salem, another tournament was held between the schools. It had team matches and singles. I kicked Weiss’s butt in my fourth round. It was a good day.
Weiss:How is that lightening mood!?
Blake:Listen, it was a big deal! I never thought I was gonna win the whole tournament but I really wanted to beat you. I love you but your head gets a little big when you’re on a roll for too long; plus I just really didn’t want to lose. I always felt a bit of rivalry between us.
Yang:Hehe, is that you’re way of saying “It would look bad to lose to a Schnee?”
Blake:Well it would!
Ruby:Hehehe.
Yang:Wait, does that mean we went back to school?
Blake:Yeah. It was pretty comforting. There was definitely a lot left to learn.
Yang:Weird. School kinda faded into the background.
Ruby:I went back to school. We all did actually. It was fast tracked by roughly a year but it was fun. We all got to pose in caps and gowns.
Weiss:Damn! I should’ve went back just for that. Unfortunately I was busy making rent and learning how to properly preheat a oven.
Yang:It’s like two buttons.
Weiss:Gas stove, and six years out of date.
Yang:Awww, you had to learn the hard way. I’m surprised and thankful you never left the gas on.
Weiss:There’s an alarm for that. Also I’m not irresponsible! Anyways, I mentioned similar tournaments earlier. I didn’t participate much but enough old videos of me in them were enough for to really light a fire under my kids. For awhile I was a bit concerned that they were just following a trend but they really love it. They used to always go around playing like knights when they were tiny.
Ruby:Carmine was a little different. She definitely always tried doing things I could but nothing got the girl jumping like seeing Yang’s horses or new ballet shoes. There wasn’t a morning when I didn’t hear a vase fall over or seeing her spin like a top. Carmine still hums some old routines when she isn’t paying attention.
Yang:Not too many memories of Yujin when she was pint size. But I do remember that wild child always loved using my bandannas for everything! Napkins, capes, ropes; anything but an actual bandanna. I used to get a bit upset with the napkin one but she’d always look at me with her big eyes and crazy hair. I never stayed mad.
Weiss:Softie.
Yang:She was like a pudgy puff ball! Fat cheeks and wholesome smiles. Ah! So adorable!
Weiss:I used to always have at least one of my kids on my hip when I was out and about. I think the media has a magazine amount of pictures of me at the park kissing my babies. Summer liked tummy rubs. She’d never go to sleep without one. Some nights I’d sing too but start to doze off so Jaune would have to take over.
Yang:*smiles* Speaking of Jaune.....
Ruby:No.
Yang:You don’t even know what I was-
Ruby:Were you about to suggest we compare our Jaune’s in the bedroom?
Yang:*red*......Well not just the bedroom! What’s the harm!? I just wanna know if he’s consistent across the board. No need to get detailed.
Weiss:You really never change no matter the world.
Yang:Can’t change greatness. It shows in any form!
Blake:He’s pretty compliant and accommodating. The benefits of being his first when I had prior knowledge I suppose.
Ruby:Don’t answer!
Blake:Why not? I’m comfortable with it.
Yang:Don’t listen to those two Blake. They’re just a bit more embarrassed since Jaune has literally been their one and only.
Blake:Huh, I never thought about it like that. Jaune would’ve been the first person you two opened up to on such a level; especially Weiss.
Yang:That’s still hilarious. All the protesting and somehow you found yourself stripping for the guy.
Weiss:Shut up! I already know! It was....I.... *blushing* emotions ran really high.
Ruby:An entire mental rollercoaster of thoughts and firsts happening all at once. Anxiety was high.
Yang:Heh, so you could say that Jaune Arc-
RW:Got through our walls. Hardy har har.
Yang:Shit, I am the same in every universe. Well I don’t have any reservations about it! *grinning* He makes me feel special every time!
Blake:Bottom.
Yang:I’m ignoring you.🎶
Ruby:Hehe, sounds about right. He...might make me feel a bit special as well.
Blake:Switch.
Ruby:How can you just guess off of that!?
Blake:It’s a gift.
Weiss:......
Blake:*smiling*
Weiss:Leave me alone.
Blake:I don’t know what has you embarrassed. You told us you’ve slept with everyone here except Ruby! I knew you were repressed but geez.
Weiss:For your information it wasn’t my idea! It was yours!
Blake:Not surprising. Let’s switch the topic. How is this other child of mine? Can’t picture me having a daughter.
Weiss:Veronica is very sensitive. Even if she tries to act like she isn’t. One time when she was tiny, a soccer ball hit her straight in the face and she sprung up saying “I’m fine!” Then you took her behind the bleachers to patch her up; tears all on her face. It both breaks my heart and very adorable to see her act fine while her ears are folded back.
Ruby:Your other son Kovu was a bit of cry baby. Partly my fault. Carmine kept beating him up and making fun of him.
Blake:What!?
Yang:Ha! Wait, that’s my kid too. How the heck!? Are you telling me you raised the rowdy child and I got the baby?
Ruby:Yang you’re a baby. I’m like twice as rowdy compared to you. A nevermore got worked day one at school.
Weiss:She has a point. You cry the most out of any of us.
Yang:Wha- that not- how....shut up! *pouts* I’m not that touchy.
Ruby:Kovu is a sweetie and not a cry baby. Carmine is just a little mean when she tries to care about others. She beat him up in an attempt to make Kovu give up dreaming about being a huntsman. That way he wouldn’t be in such a dangerous job. Reasonable logic but you know, a little over the top. Almost broke his arm. Boy did I chew her out. All it did was make him want to try harder.
Yang:Fantastic. I shouldn’t expect less from my own blood. I bet Yujin would like him. Which reminds me, anybody have kids in relationships?
RWB:We’re working on it.
The three women paused briefly before laughing at their meddling. Yang could only admire and fear her friends.
Yang:Should I be scared for your children?
Blake:Lucas needs someone to break up the routine in his life. I’m not saying he has to date her, but it would put a smile on my face.
Ruby:Carmine takes after me, not really thinking about stuff like relationships much. However, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t at all. Carmine tries her best to not act like she’s a teenaged girl with teenage wishes. But everyone sees right through it. I’m fine with her not being in one but I would like if she acknowledged that it’s okay to just....ugh, be normal! Why can nobody have normal knees in my life!?
Weiss:Nick likes Valerie who tries to deny she likes him by liking Summer, who doesn’t like her; while Veronica crushes on Nick who obviously has conflicting feelings.
RBY.....
Yang:Why is it always complicated with you?
Weiss:How is this my fau- okay it is a little bit.
Blake:Where do you stand?
Weiss:I think Valerie would be lovely for him.
Yang:What’s wrong with my baby girl!?
Blake:Yeah!?
Weiss:One, not yours. Two, have you met who I’m married to? Can’t really say he’s wasting his efforts. Though I wouldn’t be upset with Veronica. I think those two might be good for each other.
Blake:Any other bombshells people got?
Ruby:......
Ruby:Ilia is happily married.*sips coffee*
Blake:Oh that’s wonderful! I’m glad she found a loving wi-
Ruby:*smirks* To Sun.
Blake:....*stands up* I need, champagne!
A bottle of champagne poofs into existence with several glasses. Blake immediately pours everyone a glass before raising hers into the sky.
Blake:Ruby Rose, today you’ve erased guilt upon my conscious. I’m happy there’s one world where it seems all of my good exes get over me.
Ruby:Are the Ilia and Sun where you’re from miserable like Yang!?
Blake:No, but they kinda fumble in actually going for relationships. It just always makes me feel a little bad.
Yang:You can technically count two worlds. I’m fine, Ilia is dating a pretty secretary, and your one evil ex is now raising a morally good family.
Blake:You’re right! This calls for a double toast! To alternate universes! *puts glass down*
Weiss:Haha, aren’t you gonna drink it!?
Blake:No I’m still recovering; but how could I pass up the opportunity!? Man I wish I could attend that wedding! I don’t know if I’d be a bridesmaid or the best man!
Yang:You’re just gonna steal Neptune’s thunder like that?
Blake:Hey, Sun and I have taken bullets for each other and stab wounds. I think I deserve to be a little greedy and say I ride or die for that man just a little harder than Neptune.
Ruby:Geeeeeez Blake! Haha, I didn’t even tell you about the baby.
Blake:*visble excitement* Excuse me!?
RWY:*raises glass* Cheers.
Blake:CHEERS! What’s he like!?
xxxxx
Aero:AAAACHOOOO!
Carmine:Eugh! Cover your mouth! I don’t need to get sick.
Aero:Damn! What happened to uh I don’t know, “bless you!?”
Carmine:*pulls out tissues* Happy?
Aero:Where...why are those in you book bag?
Carmine:It’s flu season.
Aero:....I can’t tell if you’re the coolest person around or just a second mother.
Carmine:I can be both. My mom is arguably both but don’t tell her that. It’ll make her month and she’ll hug me too tight.
Aero:Bitch, you love hugs. Stop being difficult.
Carmine:Mmmm nah.
Aero:I feel bad for your mom.
Carmine:I feel bad for yours.
Aero:Hop off. You’re so childish.
Carmine:And yet you love me.
Aero:*red* In your dreams!
Carmine:It would make your day if I dreamed about you, wouldn’t it?
Aero:I hope you dream of spiders.
Carmine:We do not joke about that! *grabs him* Aero I will beat you up if I dream of them tonight! That’s just mean!
Aero:Stop crying ya baby. I could’ve said they were- ow!
Sun:*hitting him* Shut up and just kiss something! We’re trying to watch a game.
Aero and Carmine:We don’t like each other!
Jaune:With all do respect, that’s a lie. But please by all means Aero, continue not touching my daughter if you know what’s best for you. I don’t wanna have to fight you and your parents right afterwards.
Sun:Ilia would kill you.
Jaune:Yeah! That’s why I don’t want the fight! Much like Ruby, she’s short and terrifying. Her size holds the rage.
Ilia:*peeks in* Who’s talking shit?
JASC:Nobody, we love you!
Ilia:.....Got my eyes on you four. *holds Garnet up* and this one; the most well behaved in this bunch even with no nap.
Garnet:*fussy grumbling* I’m a ball of rage!
Ilia:You wanna nap?
Garnet:Yes!!!
Ilia:See, behaved. *walks away* don’t make me come back out here.
Carmine:....So do you like me because your mother is also imposing?
Aero:This is it, my evil origin story. It begins today.
xxxxx
Ruby:I admire his patience.

Batman’s cape
We all heard of Bruce using his cape to shelter his robins from danger, like glass shattering and bullets, so it’s only fact that it’ll become a habit eventually.
Dick:
The boy was the first to ever work alongside batman, and with his hyperactive tendencies he was the first to get up close and personal with the cape. He probably saw it as a glorified climbing wall when he was just a child.
Bruce, while on a stake-out with robin, suddenly feeling small hands grabbing fistful of the cape’s material as Dick climbs onto his shoulders. “I told you I couldn’t see anything from my post! Your pointy ears were in the way :((”
Bruce didn’t mind, of course he didn’t. It was Richard and that boy’s innately adorable, even though the boy’s pixie boots swinging in front of his face were blocking his view.
Lastly, given Dick was wearing such short pants, Bruce would always make an effort to shelter the boy from harsh weather conditions during the winter. He still does this when Dick becomes nightwing, out of habit
Jason:
Jason used to be skeptical of the cape, thought it was just a big hindrance - tha Bruce was only using it for theatrics and that he’d be much better off without it.
“Dick doesn’t wear a cape and he can blend into the shadows, shake off broken glass and bullets just as easily!”
That is until, the day they were saving a bunch of citizens from a housefire. They got trapped inside, Jason had given his oxygen mask to a civillian who was struggling to breathe, almost suffocating himself.
Bruce wrapped Jason in his cape, making an airpocket of oxygen which the fire can’t combust, until help arrives.
“Maybe that cape isn’t as stupid as I thought.” he mumbles in a muffled voice within his father’s cape.
Bruce would also do this when Jason’s having an outburst as a “time-out”
Tim:
The third robin fanboyed so hard when he first saw the cape and cowl. You think Dick saw it cool? This smoll boy in bright yellow, red and green had his eyes sparkling at the sight of it in person.
Immediately, he started coming up with theories of its material, and Bruce patiently answered every single question he had - even though Tim nailed the majority of the answers with his hypothesis.
“Let me guess, kevlar? Interwoven to stop bullets from less than a meter away? Synthetic - so that it’s lighter than it seems. But also . . huh, kind of soft material on the inside. Why? It’s an outer accessory - it doesn’t even come into direct contact with your skin.”
Bruce, having alfred make that upgrade so that Dick and Jay could have snuggled up to him under his cape when they got cold : “no reason.”
The only thing Tim didn’t guess was its final and most important function: a parental tool.
One day Tim took his laptop on a stake-out to test out a new program he had developed, except, it had started to rain. So, naturally, Bruce sheltered the boy with his cape and they both grinned as the lighting of the entire building went out across the street, causing the goons inside to enter a panicked frenzy.
“rock paper scissors for who gets to crash through the window first?”
“you go, robin, you’ve earned it.”
Steph:
She was just happy to make it onto the team, honestly, and was very determined to prove her worth to Batman. Her overly talkative nature reminded Bruce of Dick, her short temper of Jason and her aberrant excitement of Tim. Thus the cape had multiple uses with this robin, but she wanted none of it.
She was surprisingly disciplined on the field, clearly acting overly serious to try reach this imaginary standard she set.
“Don’t follow me until I give you the signal.”
“Yes sir.”
“I’m your mentor, not your boss.”
“Yes, Sensei.”
“* sigh *”
So in order for her to relax, unwind a bit, he noticed how she always had a granola bar in her utility belt, and did the same. He could hear Steph’s stomach growl and reached for his utility belt under his cape.
“Can’t find what you’re looking for? We used quite a few smoke bombs in the previous attack huh? Maybe I have some spare -”
Bruce, pulling out a granola bar: “Sorry, it got crushed a little, I’m pretty sure it’s just dust in the packet now but here, stop taking up space for snacks in your own belt. Mine has much more space.”
“:00 !!”
“How do you managed to not crush these delicate breakfast bars anyway?”
Steph, smirking: “It’s a delicate art . .”
“Huh, might use it for precision training.”
He also shelters Steph from the wind when she needs to take off her hairban and arrange her hair.
Dami:
He ses the cape and cowl as a prize to be earned - his birth right which he must work hard to obtain. The boy already had his own dark cape, with a hood, which suffices to keep him warm and hidden throughout the night. But Bruce’s is much . . bigger. He’s also tiny. I think you’ve already guessed where I’m going with this.
“They’re only expecting one of us, I say we practice maneuver eight.” The boy suggested with all seriousness.
“Good idea, robin. Get into position.”
Bruce stands alone in the middle of a giant museum which the riddler is keeping hostage until the commissioner brings the ransom money, goons pointing their guns at him from every nick and corner as the riddler remains safely locked away in one of the bank safes - letting his men do all the work.
“Bold move coming in here head on with no back up.”
Guns start blazing, and Bruce is busy dodging them while the riddler tries to escape.
Cue the riddler’s shocked expresssion when he hears a small arabian boy’s high-pitched war cries.
“Operation Robin Spring attack.”
And Dami easily finds his way past all the goons and dropkicks the riddler, then goes to free the hostages.
(Robin spring attack is called that, because well, it’s an attack where Dami literally jumps out from under Batman’s cape. But also “spring” because robins don’t usually appear in spring in most countries, and it’s a surprise attack.)
Thank you for listening.

gods.
kaeya has never had a strong belief in the gods. despite growing up in mondstadt, where they worshipped barbatos, he couldn't help but feel out of place. but who could he blame? born in khaenri'ah, a place without any deities who watched over the people, of course he would be skeptical of these so-called seven archons.
.................
it was the day aether and all the acquaintances he made while traveling teyvat would confront his sister and the rest of the abyss order. it had been gloomy since the morning, dark clouds looming in the sky.
aether had gone off to confront lumine personally, while the rest of them stayed back to fend off the mages and its subordinates. the knights of favonius were present as well. the acting grandmaster and captains leading groups out to fight, barbara and the other sisters on the side, healing and tending to the injured.
rain started to fall and things quickly became chaotic. the stream of enemies seemed never ending. more and more knights running out of energy and getting injured. kaeya's ears rang as he fought, becoming less and less aware of his surroundings. kneeling by one of the trees, a voice called out to him.
"big brother kaeya!! kaeyaaa!!!"
he whipped his head around to see klee sprinting towards him. even klee, the effervescent spark knight, seemed to lack her usual upbeat smile. her small legs carried her as fast as they could. his breath hitched. this was the first time he'd ever seen the girl so...shaken up? he couldn't tell if it was tears or rain that streamed down her face.
"klee? what's wrong? are you alright?"
she was crying. as she got closer, her sobs became more audible.
"we have to go!! he needs help!! he's hurt!"
she tugged at him, urging him to get up quickly. grabbing hold of his hands, she ran, pulling him back towards the direction she came from.
"klee, who's hurt? you have to tell me so i know"
she started crying harder, her grip on his hand tightening.
"aether's sister hurt him."
his eye widened before taking klee into his arms and taking off.
"klee, where is he?!"
"he's near the winery! master jean told me to go look for you."
"is jean with him?"
"master jean had to go get healed by barbara."
kaeya's patience was running thin. he was about to question her again but was cut off by a loud clap of thunder. running as fast as he could, he could make out three standing figures in front of the winery. there were knights scattered around. kaeya couldn't tell whether they were injured or dead. klee started to squirm in his arms as she tried to release herself.
klee let out a blood curdling scream and kaeya watched as the blonde figure sunk her blade straight through the shoulder of a read head.
"DON'T HURT HIM!!!!!"
klee sprinted towards them. aether limped, almost falling, and grabbed the girl and pushed her head into the crook of his neck. klee has been assigned to fend off hilichurls but now has witnessed diluc being injured. she should have never been put on the field today.
"KLEE YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN!!" aether yelled.
"THAT LADY IS HURTING HIM!! MAMA SAID I HAVE TO PROTECT THE PEOPLE I LOVE. I HAVE TO HELP LIKE MAMA SAID!!"
klee was having a full on breakdown now; she sobbed and screamed while lashing around in aether's hold trying to get him to let go. diluc didn't as much as let out a wince before trying to raise his claymore again. it seemed that diluc had gotten to aether before kaeya and klee did. lumine was quick to pull out her sword, blood splattering on the ground. kaeya was stuck in his place.
move.
move!
WHY AREN'T YOU MOVING?! HELP HIM!!
his mind cleared as he saw klee rip from aether's grasp and run towards lumine.
"KLEE NO!!! LUMINE DON'T HURT HER!!!!" screamed aether.
kaeya sprinted after her and managed to grab her before she was in range of lumine's blade.
"klee, let big brother kaeya take care of this, okay? i need you to take aether to barbara. can you do that for me?"
she sniffled before nodding and running back towards the traveler. turning back towards lumine, his face dropped, not an ounce of emotion could be seen.
"kaeya. i'm surprised that you'd go to such lengths to protect the ones against you. have you forgotten who you are?"
"i could ask you the same. who do you think you are swinging your blade at a child?!"
"i wasn't going to hurt her. i was going to use the butt of my blade to knock her out at most. i still have morals."
"it sure doesn't seem like it. i told you that i no longer associate myself with the likes of you or khaenri'ah, for a mater of fact. i grew up here and i will protect it."
"kaeya, i thought we could work this out. we could have gotten revenge together. don't you want that? or would you rather stay stuck in a place, surrounded by the people who worship the same gods who never cared about you!?"
"if they didn't care about me, they wouldn't have saved me!! this is not a matter of my faith in the gods but me wanting to protect the place and people i love!"
"fine. then i'll just end you now."
lumine charged at him, kaeya quick to dodge. the two went at it for sometime, diluc long forgotten about by lumine. the pyro wielder kneeled, holding his wound as he watched the two fight. it was obvious that both were running out of stamina. at some point, kaeya's eyepatch has fallen off as well. his eyes were unfocused as he tried to play offense, but it wasn't enough.
time had suddenly slowed as kaeya watched her blade come closer and closer towards his heart. had he been quicker on his feet, maybe he could've helped more people. but of course, it no longer mattered. he was about to die. his eyes subconsciously closed, his body inviting the blade to end him — yet it never came.
seconds passed before he opened his eyes. diluc stood in front of him and as kaeya looked down, he saw the sword come out the other end.
"di...luc?"
as if on que, the man fell to his knees. his hands still firmly held the blade where he grabbed as lumine changed directions and stabbed him through his abdomen. the rain poured harder and lumine started making her retreat.
it was all making sense as he gripped his sword and started to charge towards the girl but a hand wrapped around his ankle, preventing him from going further.
"...it's not worth it. you'll get hurt."
"diluc, lay down, quick. we have to stop the bleeding. you'll be fine."
kaeya stumbled over his words as he layed diluc down on the wet grass. he took off his cape and pressed it against his wound.
"i'm sorry."
kaeya eyes snapped up to diluc's face.
"what are you apologizing for, you idiot...?just....shut up and save your breath. i don't know what nonsense you're spewing but now is not the time."
"there's no need for all the effort. i won't make it."
kaeya ignored the redhead and continued applying pressure to the wound while looking around for anyone who could possibly heal diluc. both his shoulder and abdomen were causing him to loose blood at a rapid pace. the grass he laid on was dyed a dark crimson.
diluc shook his head. it was futile, his efforts would be in vain. in around 5 to 10 minutes, he would die from blood loss. no words were exchanged, both men too scared to break the seemingly fragile silence.
"......why would you do that?"
diluc grunted in response rather than replying with words. kaeya gripped the fabric he held to diluc's abdomen even harder.
"...you fucking saved me. why?"
"because."
"because what?! what are doing protecting the same person who betrayed you, diluc?!"
"kaeya, i don't care about that anymore!! i haven't cared for years. i saved you because you are worthy of being saved!!"
silence again. it was deafening.
"you can't."
"huh?"
"you're not allowed to leave again. he said you have to stay with me, no matter what.."
at that moment, the red head laughed a genuine laugh. kaeya looked at him like he was crazy.
"you know, i never left in the first place. i've always been here. whether you wanted to take advantage of that, was up to you."
"don't give me that bullshit!! you left mondstadt for 3 years without your goddamned vision and we had no contact! i had no idea if you would even come back."
"but i did, didn't i?"
"it doesn't matter! you were surviving off the same delusion that killed your father! you could've been next!"
"our."
kaeya was dumbfounded. was diluc listening to a word he said? his answers were short, not making any sort of sense to blue haired man.
"he was our father, not just mine."
"is this really our biggest problem at hand?!"
"yes. you know how much he loved you. he cared for you as much as he cared for me. he is our father, it doesn't matter if you acknowledge it or not."
before kaeya could retort, diluc spoke again.
"he loved when you referred to him as your father. i remember the first day you showed up at the winery, looking confused as ever. he crouched down in front of me and asked me if i wanted a brother. he was willing to take you in from the very start."
kaeya had nothing to say as diluc's breathing became increasingly labored. yet, instead of taking it easy, he insisted on continuing his story.
"even when he saw you standing there, watching as he took his last breath, he didn't hate you. he never could. he told me to stay with you. selfishly, i left for three years but i came back....because i knew that's what he would have wanted."
"....why are you telling me this now?"
diluc's face had gone even more pale, sweat dripping down his face despite the cold rain. he wheezed and coughed as he spoke.
"to remind you that even though you're witnessing this exact scene again, you are not to blame. dad doesn't blame you, and neither do i."
"blame me for what? what scene? diluc, you're gonna make it. you aren't gonna die in the same place as crepus." kaeya laughed nervously.
surely it wasn't happening right? surely barbara would come running down here any second and heal diluc and they would go back to their daily bantering at the tavern. everything would go back to normal!
"no matter what you decide to do, please don't sell the winery."
"stop...stop! what are you saying right now?!"
kaeya became frantic once again, shouting out for help, only halting as he felt a hand fall on top of his own. kaeya's body temperature is always lower than others due to his cryo vision, but even with his pyro vision, diluc's hand felt colder than kaeya's.
"you have to keep going, alright?"
kaeya looked down at diluc, eyes filling with tears that he has not shed in quite a few years.
"kae......"
diluc's eyes conveyed everything single thing he could've possibly wanted to say in his last moments. so even with his limited words, he wanted to at least say something. so, with a smile and his last breath, he repeated the same words he told kaeya all those years ago.
"even if you don't think so, you were — and always will be — the best older brother i could have ever wished for."
as diluc's eyes closed, kaeya could hear the footsteps of knights behind him and his name being called out.
kaeya!
kaeya!
"KAEYA!!"
kaeya shook his head and rapidly blinked as he finally came back to reality.
"you were spacing out again and i still have some paperwork to do. i'm not trying to rush you but...."
"ah, so sorry jean. i...uh. i came to ask if i could change some of my info that is currently in the files?"
"oh? what would you like changed?"
kaeya's eyes dropped down to the now unlit pyro vision hanging next to his own.
"i think i want to change my last name... back to ragnvindr."
.................
but even with his little belief in the gods, kaeya found himself praying to them everyday — begging them to give him his little brother back. whispering apologies to the wind that he hoped barbatos would carry to diluc.

Warnings: none
Summary: Alucard muses on how life has changed since the head woman of Danesti, now Belmont, and her people have settled about his home.
The clearing was relatively quiet that afternoon, with the odd settler or two roaming around, enjoying a moment’s rest after doing their part in the rebuilding effort for the day. The setting sun warmed Alucard’s skin as he sat against a large oak tree. Strong winds shook the branches above his head, sending bursts of orange and red drifting about him. He brushed errant leaves out of his basket and plucked out a dark spool to finish his mending.
Aaliya and Rahim, bless their hearts, were the most rambunctious out of all of Alucard's children. So it came as no surprise when a few hours ago, Rahim came to him with pieces of what used to be a stuffed horse, “His name is Sumac, Father!”, wailing his dark eyes out. Alucard promised to make time to mend him by the end of the day. The toy was a well-loved thing, with stains and misaligned stuffing, all evidence of a boy who took his friend everywhere he went. The horse’s reddish-brown fur was now a muddled sepia and its once cream mane and markings now gray. Alucard just about had his fill of bloody horses, but he could make an exception just this once.
He wasn’t resting alone though. After depositing lumber and stone for Solomon and his building team, Greta settled beside him. She only dozed off a short while ago, but not before giving a knowing chuckle at his project and a snark about how he was finally as used to people as people were used to him. Absolutely maniacal. He couldn’t find room to complain.
So much had changed in just these last four months. Alucard would be lying to himself if he said that it wasn’t jarring to go from months of solitude to human interaction and back again, a hellish cycle that always seemed to end with him alone. But with the settlement of the people of Danesti, now Belmont, that cycle had been broken. Funny, considering how he had been hesitant towards the idea.
Except hesitant wasn’t an accurate description. Initially, Alucard had to wrestle with his desires for both solitude and companionship. As much as he longed for the latter, Alucard wasn’t prepared for its magnitude. Saint Germain, for all his scheming, offered a reasonable solution to a suffering people. Only that reasonable solution left Alucard feeling bare and scrubbed raw, as if the entirety of the world made itself at home in his ribcage before even giving him the courtesy of undoing the frog of his cape first.
Those first nights after the battle was when the enormity of his hospitality truly began to set in. He lamented the loss of his solitude. Protection, knowledge, and safety-he would never hesitate to offer, but with so many rooms holding so many personal memories, he’d unintentionally left his soul bare to all. He remembers all but dashing ahead of Greta while showing her the food supply to hide his makeshift companions from her teasing, scrutinous gaze.
But...it was nice.
It had been so long since the halls were alive, filled with laughter and with people milling about the halls. It hardly ever seemed like he was alone now. His role as champion along with Greta’s say-so granted him a founding role in Belmont and as such was bombarded with questions daily; someone asking for aid, someone asking for instruction, someone...just asking how he’s faring that day.
From beside him, Greta, with her arms crossed, snored softly. Alucard let out an undignified chuckle. For someone who had such hasty and scathing observations about settling at Castlevania, she seems quite content.
Greta wasn’t wrong when she called the Castle cold. Alucard remembers plenty of nights alone, abandoned, shivering and craving nothing but someone, anyone, to ease his loneliness. His mother. His father. Belmont. Sypha. Anyone. But after Sumi and Taka’s betrayal, Alucard began to appreciate the aura Castlevania emanated. It’s dark, cavernous windows and ominous silhouette, looming and judging those who came across it, a warning sign to all. It stood imposingly with cautionary tales skewered at its lip. Greta was simply experiencing the emotions Castlevania intended to elicit from oncomers; the cold, fear, and danger.
Even so, after everything that’s happened, Alucard couldn’t help but feel a sense of welcome and warmth in those dark, cavernous windows.
The windows that led to the study where Adrian spent years on years learning a multitude of languages, preferring the ones with lots of “s’s” because of the way it slithered off his tongue.
The windows that led to the southwestern dining room, where an infantile Adrian nearly chomped off his mother’s finger whilst she tried to stop him from swallowing a frozen carrot he’d been teething on.
The windows that led to the science hall, where he, Sypha, and Trevor spent the last few blissful days of their union getting drunk and blasting off various spells into the ceiling to see what would happen.
Yes, there had been plenty of warmth in the Castle, even before it had been graced with the people of Danesti. Almost every room he can recall with a smile and a fond tale. He’d had to convince Greta, he thinks. He can already imagine it; the disbelief on her face when he tells her he learned to shapeshift into a dire pup in a conservatory, a room filled with foliage and beakers and sunlight and all sorts of breakable things. And he can imagine telling her that Lord Dracula himself had to call for aid from his wife when their son burst through a window and pranced about nude in the outdoor sun. He can imagine that curious wrinkle in her brows before she thinks of something, immediately says it, and rarely regrets it.
He can imagine telling her so much about his childhood. About Vlad and Lisa Țepeș. About growing up the only dhampir, to his knowledge. He can imagine telling her so much about his past and about, ahem, possibly their present; what’s changed since he met her and what’s stayed the same. The tangled but firm bundle of feelings she’s elicited from him. He’ll have to ask for her time one day, one day when she isn’t exhausted from doing the work of half a dozen persons in a few hours time and taking a well-earned break.
Alucard was broken from his musings when he saw Sypha striding up to him in the distance. In the midst of Sypha’s pregnancy, her passion and spitfire were amplified. As such, she had enough of all the side looks and loaded barbs between them all.
They had talked, Trevor and Sypha and Alucard. They talked about feelings, about abandonment and betrayal and neglect, about Trevor and Sypha’s child also calling Alucard father. About how it was almost too soon to make such a leap, feelings too raw. About sentiments that could have, perhaps should have, been properly expressed before fucking off across Europe. About regrets and pain, about trust and building it back up. It wasn’t ruined, but it was worse for wear. Nothing that some regular maintenance wouldn’t help.
Alucard almost stands to offer Sypha a hand, but she politely declines, saying that if she gets down, she won’t get back up as easily. Besides, she was only here for a quick thing. Then, she took note of the sleeping Greta, and lowered her voice, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so still before.” Alucard was inclined to agree. With her coat draped over her lap, and her head lopped to the side, Greta looked at peace. The tasks of a head woman were never-ending, it seems.
“What brings you out here, then?” Alucard asked, once he was able to drag his gaze away from Greta’s sleeping form.
“Rahim was looking for you,” she cocked her head, giving him a puzzled look. “He said that you would help him find some sumac?.” Chuckling into his chest, Alucard ties off the thread on the poor thing's left haunch and passes it up to Sypha.
“I believe I stitched together all the bits of his Sumac as best I could.” Alucard wonders if Sypha even heard him over all her soft albeit consistent cooing.
“Alucaaaard. I never knew you were so good with a needle,” she spoke as she ran her fingers lovingly through its sullied mane. “With the state of Trevor’s socks, he could learn a thing or two from you.”
And then the most terrifying thing happened; Sypha got The Look. To the casual observer, looking at the duo of Belnades and Belmont, one would think that the former was the sensible one. And they wouldn’t necessarily be wrong. However, what the casual observer typically fails to notice is that Sypha, for all her grace and intellect, was at least half as crazy and twice as impulsive as Belmont himself. Arguably, she was at her worst when she got mischievous, and the only tell for that was a distinct Look; one where her impossibly large eyes sparkled and her lips twitched like a kitten holding onto a canary for a little too long.
“You knoooooow,” she began, sounding like a child all too eager to tell an adult about some fact they recently learned, a fact that they had no business knowing. “It's never too early to start preparing things for the baby-books, clothes, toys and things. Perhaps little Trefor would appreciate something personal from his Alucard. Mayhaps if you had any miniature dolls of his parents lying about,” her bright eyes squinting in mischief, “Or something like that.”
Alucard would’ve liked the earth to swallow him whole or for a wayward night creature to snatch him away into the woods. He would’ve liked a multitude of things, but he was stopped by a soft snort coming from behind him. He turned to see Greta trying and failing to suppress a smirk.
With her eyes still closed, she gave up her storybook act and said, “I’m sure sunshine here could pull something off. Yours and Trevor’s resemblance is quite striking.” Sypha howls with laughter, calming herself only after Alucard throws her a glare, all the while blush painting his...well, everything. He sighs, turning back to Greta.
“I hadn’t known you were such a fan of my needlework.”
“Well, I hadn’t intended on saying anything.” Greta barely got her last word out before Alucard rounded back, still mortified.
“Quite unlike you. I ought to be worried.” Greta cracks open an eye at that, playfully raising an eyebrow at the dhampir.
“I thought you were asleep,” he said indignantly.
“I don’t know what gave you that impression,” Greta closed her eye again, crossing her arms behind her head, “ I was merely resting my eyes.”
“And your heart rate?” Alucard bent an arm against his leg, resting his chin in his palm and gazing at her through lidded lashes. “If I had poorer hearing, I would have almost certainly mistaken you for a sleeping person.”
Greta raised a single finger. “Almost. Key word: almost.”
Rolling his eyes under closed lids, Alucard said, “You would make an excellent performer, you know.”
“I am a woman of many skills.”
“Indeed. One day, I imagine you might even be able to successfully imitate a rock.”
Greta effortlessly lands a hit against Alucard’s thigh. There’s no real force behind it. It’s the same friendly banter they’ve always shared, the same heat that fills his chest, the same stir it causes in his gut, and the same burn to the spot she touched.
“Smartass.” As she draws her hand back, the smirk on her face never drops.
Alucard, chuckling and chest warming, cocks his head back to Sypha to ask if she needs anything else from him and is surprised to see an intensity in her widened eyes. Wide as they were when they first entered the Belmont hold, large and curious and flickering as she combed through every book she could find, devouring any new information at her grasp with a thrilling quickness. Before the embarrassment at being perceived settled in his bones, Greta spoke up, this time to Sypha, making her eyes softer than usual.
“How are you and the little one today, Sypha?”
“We’re well, thank you,” Sypha takes her hand and rubs it across her slowly increasing bump, giving the head woman a pleased grin. “I see you’re taking a well-earned break.”
“Nothing wrong with a little rest,” Greta shrugs, relaxing further back against the bark. Her brows get that curious wrinkle, however, and she says, “Especially for those of us with child who’ve been running about since dawn.”
Alucard takes solace in the fact that the air around Sypha tingles ever so slightly and he is, for once, not subject to embarrassment. If Greta sensed Sypha’s chagrin, as she almost certainly did, she didn’t make it known, aside perhaps from the cute crinkle around her eyes and nose.
But Sypha recovers much faster than Alucard ever has, giving Greta a self-satisfied smile. “I’ll have you know I wasn’t up and about until after the sun broke.” She then releases a long sigh. “But between Trevor, Khadijah and the other healers’ constant fretting, you’d think I was on my last legs instead of giving life.”
Mischief incarnate would do well to take note of Greta of Danesti, with a hand propped under chin, a single digit tapping her cheek, and a dangerous glint in her burnished eyes. “Foolish of them, then, to disregard the woman who battles night creatures regularly and moved an entire fucking castle as incapable of anything.”
“Foolish indeed!”
Alucard cast a sly gaze towards Greta, naughty of you to rile her up like this-Belmont is sure to get an earful later. Coy is never a word he would’ve ascribed to the head woman, but the curve of her lips and flutter of her lashes had him reconsidering.
Sypha says her goodbyes and goes to return the horse to its rightful owner. Stopping short, she looks back to Greta and says, “I don’t think you have much room to talk, however, Head Woman Greta of Danesti-now-Belmont-who-wakes-with-the-sun-and-slays-night-creatures-and-carries-lumber-and-.”
Greta ducks her head, sending the Speaker off with a wave, “Enough of that, Belnades.” She lowers her hand, her brows creasing as she says, “Thank you and be well.”
As Sypha departs, Greta settles back against the tree. With nothing to keep his hands busy, Alucard joins her in relaxing in the setting sun, hands folded in his lap. Being immortal, the dhampir never needed excessive amounts of sleep to function, per se. Perhaps he would just rest his eyes and enjoy the company.
Alucard sighs as the cool breeze passes through his hair and picks up fallen leaves, carrying them across the clearing. Then he sputters as one flies straight into his mouth. The dhampir gets no warning as Greta’s soft hands pull his hair aside, causing him to jump slightly. Her slender fingers pick out the foliage from his hair and shoulders before tossing them to the ground beneath them.
She can’t stop herself from letting out one last chuckle at Alucard’s expense. “Are you sure you don’t have anything better to do that loaf about with me, sunshine?” Her tawny eyes held still against his. Alucard arched his head back against the tree to appreciate her gaze.
“Nothing in particular springs to mind,” he doesn’t bother smothering the smirk growing on his face, “Besides, as I understand it, Khadijah has ordered you to loaf about after your mishap two nights ago.”
That earns him quite the eyeroll. “Khadijah, the worrywart, would order me to loaf about if I tripped over a stick.”
“Tripping over a mere stick?,” he lilted, “ I’d think he’d need to examine your head if that ever happened.”
Another thwack. Another burst of heat. Only this time, Alucard held fast, catching her hand before it could completely fall away. Greta startled at his reflexes, her head teasingly cocked aside as her eyes flicked from his to their joined hands. Before he lost his nerve, Alucard placed his other hand atop hers, giving it a soft squeeze and resting it in his lap. “I’m sure. I’d much rather be here than anywhere else.”

@cayeeast 🥰 You are never too late, my inbox is always open. :) I hope Damirae?! I have to preface this: I apologize in advance. I don’t really do fics like these—this is the first. But I want to grow, be a better writer, and try new things. I have never written anything like this before, so honestly, THANK YOU.

--------------------------
"More sauvignon blanc, Miss?"
A bottle of wine was withdrawn from the metal ice bucket, lifted by their waiter's practiced hands. Beads of ice cold perspiration were congealing, beginning to travel downward as Raven swallowed another gulp of air. Though it was slight, her grasp began to shake around her cutlery. She had done her very best not to look at the bottle during the duration of the meal.
Now it was practically in her face, sweating.
Her breath hitched in her throat, as she watched the condensation continuing a steady drip.
It was quite possibly mocking her.
The moment seemed to stretch on before veering into uncomfortable, until both gentlemen glanced down at her untouched white.
"Malbec, sir?"
"Please."
The waiter gently replaced the white before disturbing the red. He swept around the table to refill another glass for Damian, who murmured a polite thanks.
Damian fingered the long, thin stemmed wine glass and turned it towards himself in circles. Several rotations were completed to air out the liquor. He guided the blackened magenta beverage to his lips and sipped thoughtfully.
"Raven."
Though Raven didn't immediately glance up, she was focusing on her meal rather intently. She shuffled slices of swordfish steak and capers to make them chase her chanterelle mushrooms and root vegetables around the triangular shaped plate in different patterns.
Of course, the half-demon was sure to select the appropriately suited silverware as she did so. Her efforts were starting to slow, however, as the lemon cream sauce became nearly nauseating when paired with seafood vapors.
Did fish always smell quite so pungent?
"Is there something wrong with the food?" She refocused on the handsome face of her dining companion, flickering in and out of the candelabra light.
"No, it's wonderful," Raven insisted. "Really, wonderful—great... presentation." His emerald eyes parsed the perfectly placed parsley and the latticework of sauce that was now a soupy mess saturating a plate of parsnips and fish.
"Oh, well it must have been." Damian exhaled sharply out of the corner of his mouth. "But, I'll always say nothing is too beautiful to eat..." He drawled.
"I guess I'm not as hungry as I thought..." she mumbled, flushing a little more than delicately.
"I hope our waiter doesn't insinuate to the kitchen that the meal fell short of perfection tonight. If the chef doesn't already know..." He scanned the perimeter of the dining room, as if expecting to be ambushed by the staff or a number of dining guests.
"I'm willing to bet if it wasn't so busy, he'd be out here himself, demanding to know what's wrong with the food." He cut his steak as he reminisced. "Remember what happened the time you asked for salt...?"
"It could just be me." Subtly, she slid her plate nearer to the center of the table. "Even though, I'll never be fully assured that fish is the best idea on a Monday... Are you sure it's fresh?"
"Is it fresh?"
A part of her was teasing, but Damian physically recoiled an inch. To insinuate that he would frequent an establishment that would serve his fiancée day old fish? His face was drawn with his jaw so set, it was as though he had been slapped—or someone in the vicinity had insulted his mother.
"I called ahead. That swordfish was caught earlier today. They're in season, sustainably sourced, and delivered directly to the restaurant—"
And with a menu that read: price available upon request, where other establishments printed dollar amounts, they all but prepared it table-side.
"But... you didn't follow them to the docks?" She asked in a deadpan. "You didn't call the fishmonger either? And I'm guessing, you didn't stand in the kitchen and observe the process?" Raven folded her arms. "Well, I don't understand how someone who takes shortcuts manages to run a billion-dollar corporation."
Raven wasn't at all new to this and she wasn't sure she would ever fully get used to it.
But sarcasm always helped.
"I was under the impression it was your favorite... You enjoyed it so much when we were here months ago." Damian's eyes darkened and then shone, like a man accepting a challenge. "Have your tastes changed already?"
"It's just... It's a little strong—the smell." Raven cleared her throat with her cheeks draining of their remaining color. "It's much stronger than I remember."
"Tell me... Is it work?" He surveyed the tail-coated waiter standing at the ready and lowered his voice accordingly. "Is it...something else?"
This was meant to speak of their nightly activities, the ones that involved aliases, capes, and crime.
Well, the other ones that involved aliases, capes, and crime—no safe words.
Inwardly, Raven groaned, because once again she was reminded of how much harder this could become.
By Azar's blood.
"It's not...that either. My stomach really is too unsettled for fish today." She took the napkin from her lap to wipe her mouth. "Normally it wouldn't be, but maybe... I'm a little unsettled, too."
"Tch... Well, I knew there had to be something." A half frown stole across Damian's full lips. "It's me, Raven... And this is us. We don't hide things from each other. Not anymore."
"I know." She heard her voice wavering. "I know that..."
"If there's anything at all, you'll tell me." He reached across the table to brush her hand. "If you're unhappy, tell me. I'll do whatever I can..." he whispered, lifting his eyebrows to punctuate his next words. "And I mean... anything."
Now Raven couldn't contain a crude snort. "I know, Damian."
"We can stop by a jewelry store - that engagement ring looks awfully lonely by itself." She sucked her teeth in a manner that was less than refined.
"Shoe store then... You can never have too many pairs of those very similar—" Haughtily, Raven blew air up through the side of her mouth to ruffle through her hair. "—but different, black pairs of boots..."
"We can take a trip..." His voice grew lower still. "...have a threesome." But, that one might have been a question rather than a suggestion. And as he pondered his words, his fork went sailing straight through the remainder of his steak without the aid of the knife. "Well...maybe not that last one."
"You're incredible...suggesting a ménage à trois at a French restaurant? Coquin." The half demon shook her napkin at him. "I'd laugh if this fish wasn't making my eyes water."
"Well, I'd do anything for you..." he replied evenly. "If it would make you happy, I'd even consider thinking about that last." And Raven shot her lavender eyes straight up towards the domed ceiling. They both knew the truth. "Maybe someday in the far, far future..."
As if he would ever share her.
That was exactly right, wasn't it? As if he would ever share her, or their lives with anyone?
Why would he?
They lived on the top floor of an elegant building in Gotham with a vintage lift whose golden grills led straight out into their penthouse apartment. But, it could be argued that the building wouldn't have been complete without their elderly doorman, Tom.
On the daily, he hailed cabs for Raven. Semi-weekly, he handed Damian hangers of dry-cleaning that refilled their twin walk-in closets of the numerous suits, trousers, and shirts and monochromatic dresses, blouses, and skirts.
Each morning, he bade Raven good morning as she went off to work and each night he held the door as he bade Damian good evening, a spectator in the lover's lockstep.
Weekly, Damian and Raven maintained long-standing lunch dates clustered in his corner office at Wayne Technologies. Monthly, the couple attended Sunday brunch with the extended clan of brothers, sisters, partners, kids, and pets all assembled together at the Manor.
Yes, there were others in their lives.
Even though Damian would argue they existed more or less on the fringes of a tapestry, while he kept her framed at the center.
Still, he seemed to love everything exactly as it was and he was in no hurry to change it. Especially when every night ended with them tangled together in their king-sized bed.
Two.
Plus one dog.
Titus was the only exception. Unless things changed in the far, far future.
"Do you mind if we cut dinner short?" Raven suddenly suggested. It must have been abrupt because Damian seemed caught off guard. "I think I want to go home early, curl up next to you, and finish those final pages of my book."
"Alright." He signaled for the check. "I'd like that... We'll get you home and I want your final thoughts on the ending. They better be scathing." The waiter reappeared instantly and it was like he'd never left. And even though his eyes remained lowered to the ground, she knew he had to be appraising her.
Raven mumbled something about the ladies room. She considered splashing her face with water and giving herself a pep talk. But to what end? The evening had already gone array. Something unexpected had cropped up.
Unexpected.
How was she supposed to tell him this?
Damian was a planner and for the most part, so was she. They didn't do unexpected.
"Actually, I'm going to grab my coat."
She excused herself and placed her napkin next to the untouched glass of wine. Her feet were pinched tighter in the heels with every step towards the exit. Raven followed the partition around the perimeter of the dining room, arriving at the stairs to the entrance hall.
As she waited in the queue for her coat, her eyes wandered past the sweeping architecture and up the wrap around staircase, where Damian was probably talking to the head chef and the owner. Just as he predicted.
She handed over her ticket, her heart leaping towards her chest as the end of the evening dawned on her. And as Raven grabbed the coat, she wanted to whirl around in her uncomfortable heels and march back up those stairs. Uncaring of her rudeness, she'd steal Damian away, tug him towards the hallway with the row of chandeliers and kiss him.
And tell him absolutely everything.
She would tell him why La Chandelle wasn't at all appealing tonight. She would tell him why she'd suggested going out to dinner in the first place. She would tell him why things had changed so suddenly.
And why everything could.
Instead, she slunk away. Out of the restaurant. Onward. The best she could do now was hope: hope they could get home, hope she could get out of these heels as soon as she could. And then, Raven would figure out how to tell him tomorrow.
--------------------------
"Raven?"
Damian was racing down the stone front steps of the restaurant to meet her at the curb.
"There you are." He was hurriedly slipping a pea coat over his suit jacket and he sounded nearly breathless. "Where did you go?"
"The coat check. Did you get the car?" Her voice sounded small and defeated. "I really, really want to get home..."
"I can see that," He deadpanned. "But that's not what I meant and we both know that." His brown-black brows began to knit together. "You were somewhere else for most of the evening. I know when you slip into your mind fortress and this is different from that. So where did you go, Raven?"
She swallowed and held out her hand for him to take. They walked a few steps in silence, turning towards a side street. The sound of laughter, music, and chatter faded away and for the first time all evening, she felt like she could finally think. Raven exhaled, deciding this was far enough.
"Damian, when I asked about dinner," she began. "I wasn't expecting this... I figured we were going somewhere with a little less wine and a little less fish—less wine cooked into fish..."
He blinked, processing slowly with his hands in his pockets, his head pointed down towards the cobblestone street, coated in a mixture of oil and water. It had to have rained recently. "Well, it's not too late, we can go somewhere else—nothing French, I promise."
He licked his lips before he continued, probably sensing her apprehension. "We can go to that noodle place and ask for two pots of oolong tea instead of the usual one... Or we can just grab tea?" He offered. "But if you're too tired, we can always make it at home. I'll make yours with the biggest, widest mug and saucer we have."
"So you're just...not going to give up on tonight, are you?" Raven murmured, her lavender hair moving as she shook her head from side to side, as if wondering who this man was.
"No, I don't think I will." A smirk started up on his face. "That's the thing about having a fiancée. You can't get rid of me that easily." He tapped her cheek good-naturedly and ghosted over her forehead with his lips. "I'm always going to be here."
"Didn't we...just get engaged?"
"Is that what this is about...?" Her husband-to-be searched every single inch and orifice on her face. "We can slow things down or postpone the wedding for a few months. The last thing I want you is for you to be stressed about this."
"What I mean is..." She ran a hand across her damp forehead. "Gods, I had this whole speech planned—how I was going to tell you..." Raven's unease fell away when she felt warmth radiating in waves, like he was lending her strength.
"Anything," he whispered. "You can tell me anything." He placed his arms on her shoulders.
Raven took a deep breath, her eyes locked on his, and—
"I'm pregnant."
The words froze suspended before them in midair. Damian continued to stare at her, but without blinking. Then, Raven nodded. And then Damian started to nod too.
She couldn't believe she said it aloud; she couldn't believe that it even happened. "I know it should be impossible... And not just that it's too soon."
"You're..." Damian breathed. "You're pregnant."
And he was taking her hands with his own to squeeze them tight. He started to smile—not just smile, he was beaming in a way Raven had only seen once before: when she said yes. This was more than elation, he was in absolute awe of her. He lifted her from the rain-soaked street in a generous hug to sweep her right off her feet.
Damian was holding her, lifting her. Supporting her from below. He was staring up, as his breath streamed sweet steam swirling against the seam of her lips. From somewhere inside blooming outward, was a warmth that no amount of healing or surge of power or strike of hellfire could ever compare.
And he too was giving himself over to this sensation.
With fingers gliding through his hair, eyes welling emotion, she nodded again. And she wrapped her arms around his neck, and drew closer to connect. Deeply, gently, then sweetly, they kissed into the night.
--------------------------
Damian feathered his lips over hers, placing her gingerly onto her feet. And he was grinning madly at her. Then, his grin slid down a little. And then a lot.
His mouth opened, like he was about to say something. He started to talk and stopped. Started and stopped.
"The wine—"
"The fish—"
He ran a hand down his face while he replayed the events of tonight. "I'm such a goddamned idiot. I'm so sorry, Raven."
"It was a nice meal. I had a great time. So, I couldn't eat anything or drink anything—so what?" Raven chuckled. Whatever cruel sense of irony there was in the world, it was a wonderful night. "You know, it's actually hilarious in hindsight, and now we have a funny story to tell our friends... A-and our—our—"
She was enveloped by the warmest, safest embrace Damian could manage as he was trembling. He rocked her and held her tight, inhaling deeper and exhaling harder until they both relaxed. "I am sorry. I should have sensed something more was going on."
"Well, neither of us thought this was even possible. Up until three days ago, I didn't know it was," Raven blurted. And it felt so good to blurt around him again. "We live together. I could have said it at breakfast. Or at the movies on Sunday... When we were in the shower together, last night. I'm the idiot. "
"The shower..." he repeated. "So that's why you were a little touchy about your body." She groaned loudly—this was not happening. "Raven, you've got absolutely nothing to worry about," Damian insisted. "And besides, you're not even showing yet."
"That's what you think," she grumbled.
His lips curled up. "Habibti." Raven raised an eyebrow. She knew as well as he did, that he had better choose that next sentence very carefully. "Habibti... you've always had an aura glowing about you, only now it's just going to grow brighter."
"Pfft," Raven muttered. "Right. As I grow bigger and rounder."
"You know what, yes," he scoffed. "You will get bigger and I don't care. For that matter, neither should you." Gingerly tilted her chin towards him. The way he was gazing at her, with unconditional love, understanding. "You'll be just as beautiful—equally exquisite."
Who could ever doubt Damian?
"And you'll be even more sensitive in all the right places." His low voice was filled with the darkest promises of sin. "I can hardly wait."
"You're dangerous," Raven murmured, knowing she was turning pink.
"Dangerous?" His nose traced the curve of her neck, as the skin shivered.
"As if you didn't know," she said flatly. "It's probably how you managed to conceive with a half-demon in the first place."
She felt him chuckle into her skin, then it morphed into something like a groan. "So, I botched dinner... And sex in the shower... I should have drawn you a nice, hot soak in the tub... Gone down on you for an hour at least...gone a few blocks past the park to grab some slices of 99 cent pizza..."
"How did you know about the pizza?" Raven's eyes widened on her flushed face. "Did Tom tell you?" Whenever Raven said she was going to 'feed the pigeons in the park', what it really meant was she was going to cut through the park to grab a slice of the cheapest pizza she could get her hands on.
So much for the code.
"You actually thought that was a secret?" And when Damian rolled his eyes, he looked less worried and more like his usual surly self. "Please. I've seen the napkins and the pathetic excuses for paper plates... Really, I should have known something was up, there were a few more than usual."
Through the ovens of pizza and pregnancy, he knew and he loved her.
And Raven threw herself forward and held him tightly to her. "You're sort of perfect, you know that?" she mumbled into the hard chest, smelling the usual amber and spiced apricot. She lifted her head and he brushed an errant strand of lavender from her eyes. "I don't want to cut tonight short. Actually... I kind of want frozen yogurt."
"Fro-yo it is."
And as they walked, he bent his head towards her. He touched her face and murmured, "I...can't believe you're carrying my child..."
Damian began to kiss her so avidly, so impatiently, they had to stop in the middle of the sidewalk. She was moaning and pulling pomegranate and malbec from his lips until they were both breathless.
Damian gave her a final peck and they walked back to the restaurant. It was all such a daze, Raven barely remembered him asking the valet to bring their car around. She made a motion towards the door and she noticed he'd already held the passenger side ajar for her.
"I can still do that myself."
"Hmm..." He stared off into the distance with a vague smile, as though contemplating their future. "You're going to fight me at every turn aren't you?"
"No," Raven said quickly. His eyes flickered faintly with amusement. "Not frozen yogurt—I want ice cream. Real, honest-to-goodness, ice cream made with cream, and all the toppings. Whipped cream, hot fudge..."
--------------------------
"Birdie's Diner?"
"Ignore the name, it's a good restaurant. I used to come here all the time, even before we were—" Raven was trying to pull his fingers aside to see his flushed face lit by the bright neon sign. "All diners serve eggs, alright? I'm sure that's all it means."
"And that's the only thing that drew you here?"
He hung his head in defeat before holding the door. "After you."
There were low lamps hanging over the booths and classic rock stringing out of a jukebox in the corner. Raven hadn't been to a diner like this one in well, ever. The hostess handed over two laminated menus and told them to seat themselves. So Raven sat in a red vinyl booth in the back corner, and very discreetly, slipped off her heels.
Instantly, it felt much homier than La Chandelle.
"Raven, we're getting you the best OB in Gotham—that's non-negotiable," Damian was saying. One coffee down and he picked up exactly where he'd left off in the car, driving and planning particulars. "Or Kori can recommend us hers - they're probably accustomed to working with unique cases."
Demonic blood or not, Raven sincerely doubted there was any OB-GYN in the city that wouldn't pass off a patient or two on a colleague, to quite literally, bag a Wayne baby.
The caffeine had fully set in because he was drumming his fingers absentmindedly on the table while he spoke. "It'll cost us another Sunday morning, because you know Kori will want to do an extended brunch when we tell her and Dick the news."
And the second they told her, Raven would promptly conjure up an extra-strength, soundproof barrier around her cellphone to contain the joyous shrieks. And she'd probably have to buy a new phone.
"But it'll be worth it... You know what, it's not too late, I can probably call Dick right now." His left hand darted towards his pocket.
"No. No, you won't." She placed her hand over his. "We'll do it in the morning. Tonight, you're going to sit here with me and eat ice cream, okay?" Then, her ears perked up in a way that Titus would have been proud of. Hearing the sound of a whipped cream dispenser, behind the diner counter, she was almost gleeful. Her ice cream was in transit and was arriving on a round, plastic serving tray.
"Here ya go, sweethearts." A waffle-printed glass dish and two spoons were deposited onto the smooth, scrubbed surface between them. "Enjoy."
"Thank you." She smiled back at the kindly woman in the light blue waitress uniform, with a name tag that read Shirley.
Cookies and cream on a bed of bananas, crushed oreos. Whipped cream and hot fudge. Even one of those radioactive-red cherries on top. And it was absolutely wonderful. She passed Damian one of the long, thin-handled spoons, which they both knew was ill-suited for ice cream. According to Alfred, it was technically for iced tea, but appropriate cutlery was far from her mind. She tapped her spoon to his.
Cheers.
Raven dug in and moaned. In a word it was: heavenly, and far better than she could remember of ice cream. Six more bites and she could just imagine the tip of her spoon about to hit the bottom of her half. That cherry was hers.
"Hey Damian," she nudged his spoon with her own. "Now you're not eating."
"I was thinking..."
"You can think later... You've done more than enough." They would deal with the rest tomorrow. For now, she chose to think of this as a little celebration of the news—just between them.
"Come on, don't let me eat this alone... Sympathy weight starts tonight." She swallowed another spoonful while he glowered at her. And Raven knew full well he'd already had an entire steak earlier. "Don't worry about abs, your aura will just glow brighter."
"Tch—I wonder what genius said that..."
Raven snorted, but didn't argue. In fact, she was absolutely fine with riding Damian's abs—and hard body—straight into the next two trimesters.
"But I have to agree about one thing." Damian drew up his thumb, using it to wipe a smudge of whipped cream from her upper lip. "There is something about real cream..." He held her gaze as he licked his finger slowly.
The blood in Raven's core was warming, the temperature forming liquid fuel for an ache of a different kind. Officially, they had been together for over a year. And this man was now her fiancée. How did he always manage to turn her into some sort of sticky mess?
It had to be unnatural because it was utterly unfair.
Not so subtly, Raven tilted her head at the space next to her. And Damian joined her on the other side of the booth. The diner and the ice cream were so much better with his thigh lined against hers.
"Raven, can I...?" He hesitated, waiting for her approval. He held his hand up to her stomach.
"Of course you can."
Softly, he stroked the skin over her shirt, where the tiny swell would eventually grow. "Raven," he whispered at last, and she opened her eyes. "I want us to take that trip."
"A trip?" Her eyes were so wide only a sliver of purple remained. "A moment ago, you were talking about baby-proofing the apartment." He seemed unfazed. "Nannies? Au pairs? Daycare? What happened to buying every pregnancy and parenting guide our devices will permit? We can't take a trip, wouldn't that be an irresponsible start?"
"We can make time for something important like this," he insisted. "It could be good for you. And for us."
"Why in the name of Azar and all her disciples would this be a good idea?"
"Hear me out... A mother and father-to-be take a trip before the baby actually comes—a baby-moon. That's what they're called," Damian murmured. "I propose we take one, before our lives, and bodies change." He spooned a dollop of whipped cream and slid it between his lips. "What do you think?
"Oh..."
"We don't have to..." He said quickly and dropped the spoon in the dish.
"I think...it could be an interesting idea."
"If you think it's not for us," Damian reached for her and stroked her hair calmly. "I understand."
"No—Damian—we should do this." She searched his eyes. "I want to do this with you."
"Yes." Damian kissed the top of her head. "Just you and me, Raven. We can go anywhere you want."

Roll over, baby
I’m currently obsessed with the song “Roll over, baby” by LANY, I just find it extremely relatable, the lyrics have gotten to my core. I think is because I feel like being on a relationship is just that, choosing constantly to meet each other halfway. And the, out of literally nowhere, an idea popped into my head and I decided to write a Supercorp fic based on that song, here’s the result, I hope it warms your heart the same way it does to me.
You can also read it in AO3, please leave kudos if you like it
Most of the times we see eye to eye
They don’t fight. Not usually at least. After being together for three years and more than four of friendship it is hard for them to encounter a situation that escalates. Sure, they argue sometimes and more than frequently hold different points of view, however, they are also capable of understanding each other, to get each other’s views and where they are coming from, they know the other perfectly after all, their buttons, fears and insecurities.
And it’s not like us to be staying up to fight
Today, today is different though. It’s almost midnight and Kara just came back (was brought back) to their shared apartment after going solo in a mission to stop a 5th dimensional imp. She was meant to wait for Brainy and Lena to build, an prepare for launch, a stunning beam that would momentarily cut the connection between their rouge alien and the 5th dimension powers, so Kara could step in as Supergirl along with Nia and take him down. However, waiting a few more minutes was apparently a little too much for the Kryptonian since she headed there by herself after 10 minutes of restless pacing in the Tower. The fella was causing trouble downtown, destroying several local businesses and a school, no one was injured though, still the Girl of Steel couldn’t refrain from being helpful and decided to go by herself.
“It’s going to be fine Lena, I’m just going to play bait while you guys finish off the slowing beam and then we can just send him off to one of our holding cells” she said confidently, just before bursting out of the Tower’s balcony. Barely spearing a second to kiss her on the lips.
She didn’t play bait.
She became an alien boxing bag for the being. He was more powerful and attuned to the 5th dimension than they all, Kara particularly, had anticipated. After a rather violent fight where Kara ended up severely beaten up, he had the guts to threw her into the 5th dimension and afterwards they both vanished.
They spent a whole week trying to find her and bring her back. When they did, she had been held captive in a pocket dimension, restrained with kryptonite cuffs. She was absolutely disoriented and extremely weak, having spent a long period of time under the effects of the green rock. Moreover, the problematic imp kept running rampant trough the city and letting loose God knows what. The Superfriends were torn between stopping him and bringing the hero back. At the end, they concluded that the more productive outcome would be to restrain him and then force him to bring the Kryptonian back. One problem at a time.
They set up a trap. Brainy and Lena designed a quantum net that followed Schrödinger’s principle, the space held by it simultaneously existed, and it didn’t, they had to use nanotechnology capable of producing a quantum field, theoretically, it would allow them to break his connection long enough to be restrained, albeit the challenge would be to find his exact location within the quantum realm. However, they needed someone within the range of the net to bring him down. J’onn was the chosen one, since he is the second strongest among them, that way Dreamer would stay behind with the rest of the team in case something went wrong and J’onn needed backup, or in case the net didn’t work, and they needed to move civilians to safety.
Fortunately, the trap worked, and after being thoroughly interrogated by Alex, he brought Kara back. They were absolutely relieved to see her unharmed, mostly, since all her battle injuries were worse than previously thought, due to having been cuffed with kryptonite for a prolonged timelapse and deprived of yellow sunlight. Her injuries were tended by Alex and Lena, and then she was sent to spend several hours under the sun lamps. Nevertheless, after a few hours she was totally bored and wanted nothing more than to go home, her sister agreed, knowing the genius of a woman had sun lamps installed all over their place.
Most of the time, yeah, we’re so in love
What did I do? What did I say? What’s up?
“How could you?!” she yells, even though she is trying not to lose her bearings, jade-green eyes sparkling with anger and clouded by fear. “We told you to wait for us! We are a team, Kara” They had come back, and as soon as they crossed the threshold her fiancé asked her why she was being so reserved, they had barely exchanged a few words, not even a greeting kiss or a ‘welcome home’ hug. It was the drop that broke the dam.
“I had to go! It is my duty to protect the people of National City and that guy running rampant through the city was definitely withing my responsibility, someone could have gotten injured for Rao’s sake” the blonde reboots with all her might, her voice straining from the effort to keep it leveled and not scream at the CEO. Tears threaten to spill from stormy blue eyes.
“And what about me, us, our friends! Did you even stop to think about how much it’d hurt us to lose you?!” It’s meant to be scolding, using her best boardroom voice, but it comes out as barely above a whisper. She stares intently into sapphire blue eyes.
“I know that you have to protect those who are more vulnerable, I’m not asking you to deny that part of yourself, I’m just asking you not to be so reckless, to wait for backup, you can’t do things on your own” the green-eyed woman voices, hesitantly, pleading.
“I am thinking about you Lena, and the others, every single second, every moment that I put on this cape I do it for you and them, so you can be safe, can’t you see that?” it comes out as a tremor, her voice wavering, a silent tear streams down her cheek.
“I see it all the time, but why can’t you understand that it is not your responsibility to be the hero all the time, that we are there to help you through it?” the genius pleads, voice quivering, more tears smearing her makeup. Forest green eyes seem cloudy with unshed tears.
The Kryptonian scoffs, “It IS my responsibility, I’m the one who has this powers and I’m trying to do good with them” she states in a hoarse voice while raising her hands and waving exasperatedly, a glint of anger flickering in ocean blue.
“Uh-huh, no! You’re not seriously telling me that. I thought we had moved past your god complex, you can’t fix everything!” she hisses between gritted teeth, her hands are clenched into fists, and she has to stop herself from shoving her finger into the blonde’s chest.
“Maybe I can’t but that doesn’t mean I should stop trying! You knew what you were getting into when we started dating! It’s not my fault you forgot” she regrets the words as soon as they leave her mouth, she can see the shift in kryptonite-green eyes, all defensiveness gone, substituted with hurt and insecurity.
“Lena…no…I-“, the blonde stammers, but it is too late. Lena is turning on her heels towards their bedroom, not even sparing her love a glance. Her shoulders slumping and her head is low, almost ashamed, she could hear the jump her heart made, it sounded painfully breaking. She is left there, alone in their kitchen. With a groan she drops her head in her hands and tries to regulate her breathing and organize her thoughts.
Tomorrow we’ll be just fine
But let’s not waste tonight
Kara peeks into their bedroom, is really dark but she can still make out Lena’s form, she’s laying on her side, facing away from the door, her hands are covering her moth, or so she guesses, from the way she’s positioned. Even without superhearing she’d still hear the soft sniffles and sobs coming from the woman. Her own eyes start filling with tears, knowing that her impulsiveness has led them to this. She bites her lip, reclining against the doorway.
After a moment of consideration, she pushes herself off the door frame and moves towards the bed. The blonde slides under the covers and scoots closer to the CEO, her whimpers are a lot more evident now, being so close to her, she can see the way her body shakes slightly with every new wave of tears. The scent of cinnamon that is Lena’s signature fills her nostrils and she wills herself not to cry harder. Laying on her side she reaches a tentative hand to caress the raven-haired woman’s arm.
Roll over baby, don’t be upset
When she doesn’t pull away from her touch, she slides her hand down her belly and scoots closer. She pats around blindly for a few seconds until she finds the slender alabaster hand she was looking for. She intertwines their fingers and starts rubbing smooth, tender circles over her knuckles, squeezing it slightly every now and then. They stay like that for a while, until she can hear her breathing even out and some of the tension leave her body, she places a soft kiss on the back of her neck, then, she pulls her hand softly, coaxing Lena to turn around and face her.
She does so slowly, albeit without hesitation. The Irish woman’s eyes are red and puffy from crying, there’s a little snot on her shirt and her cheeks are marred with drying tear trails, a light pink blush is dusting her cheeks. She looks up at her fiancé, her gaze seems sad still, although the hero can make out a little curiosity as well. Kara starts scooting backwards, to the edge of the bed, bringing Lena along with her, never letting go of her hand. Once she’s standing, she drops the raven-haired woman’s hand and studies her closely. Pleading blue meet curios green, the CEO is looking at her questioningly from the bed, she extends her hand palm up towards her love.
How can you fall asleep when you feel like this?
So, come on, baby, let me hold you instead
“Dance with me” the Kryptonian murmurs, as if she was afraid to burst their small bubble. Or maybe of breaking this little moment, still in time.
Lena looks at her hand warily but takes it with a nod, nonetheless.
The Girl of Steel takes them back to their living room, taking out her cellphone, she shuffles a little and settles for a soft song, placing her phone on the coffee table, “Roll over, baby” by LANY starts filling every corner of their living space. She moves to where Lena is standing and places both her hands on her hips, pulling her tenderly into her body, neither of them are wearing shoes, so she’s a little taller than the CEO, deep blue eyes search for forest green. Automatically the raven genius throws her arms around her shoulders, resting her head in the crook of the reporter’s neck. They are very close to each other, their fronts pressed together in a sweet embrace. Kara starts swaying them softly side to side, pressing her cheek against Lena’s, her thumbs rubbing circles on her lower back, over the worn NCU t-shirt she wears for bed. And it is somehow perfect, the warmth coming from the alien is comforting, protective. Their bare feet padding over the wooden floor, lavender and vanilla filling her nostrils.
After a few moments, Kara leans closer to Lena’s ear.
Meet me halfway from your side of the bed
“I’m sorry for not listening to you, you’re right I throw myself head-first into dangers all the time, it’s easy to forget that I have people guarding my back” she breathes, barely audible. Her hot breath tickles slightly.
“I sometimes get this wild idea that I have to be there for everyone and be the hero every moment, every step of the way, it’s in those moments where the world’s weight seems heavier than ever on my shoulders, and I get caught up in it”
“I should also apologize, sometimes is easy for me to forget that you have a huge sense of duty, that I love, and that you feel responsible for everyone in this city” the CEO answers just as quietly, her breath tickles Kara’s neck.
She pulls back a little to stare into sapphire-blue, the one she never gets tired of, she doesn’t think she ever will “but I want you to know that it is not a burden that you have to carry on your own” it’s tender, breathily. She starts scratching Kara’s nape and playing lightly with the baby hairs there, “that’s what you have us for, darling, to share the weight, knowing that we love you and will always stand by your side in your crusades” She turns her head slightly and places a feather-like kiss on a tanned cheek.
Roll over, baby, oh
Roll over, baby
Kara closes her eyes and tightens her hold around her lover’s waist, placing a kiss on the top of her head when she feels the CEO snuggle closer and bury her face on the crook of her neck again, she knows it makes her feel safe. The only thing they hear ins the melody of the song, still playing on the reporter’s phone, and each other’s heartbeats.
Just let me pour you a glass of wine
I’ll sit right here, you can say what’s on your mind
“I’m always terribly afraid of losing people that are under my protection, I get so blinded that it’s easy for me to lose sight of what’s really important, of those who truly love me for being Kara, not Supergirl” the reporter confesses after a few silent moments. “I won’t put you in that position again, Lee. If it were you the one who throws themselves into danger, I’d probably lose it, and it was selfish of me to think it’s any different from you” she croaks, her voice thick with emotions and unshed tears. Unable to look at the green-eyed woman, she buries her face into dark strands of hair.
I know you know I’m on your team
You tell me I got work to do and I agree
“I know you are this powerful being that most of the times can handle herself properly and independently, you are a miracle by yourself, but that doesn’t mean that you are invincible, and asking for help is okay, darling” she scolds gently, knowing that it’s sometimes hard for the hero to admit vulnerability, she turns her head and places a tender kiss on a strong shoulder. “And you’ll always be my Kara, that clumsy reported that stumbled her way into my life, who gets easily flustered, but also, someone whose heart is so big, filled with love, hope and compassion for all, I admire you, every day I am to be as good as you are, and I’m grateful to have you in my life, I wouldn’t want it any other way”, it is admitted shyly, with a dimpled smile that is specially reserved for Kara. Green eyes shining like perfect emeralds. They continue swaying slowly, the city blocked out, everything else forgotten.
Tomorrow we’ll be just fine
But I want you tonight
Roll over, baby, don’t be upset
How can you fall asleep when you feel like this?
“Sometimes I can be a handful, but I promise I’ll keep working to be better for you, I want you in my life, Lee, now and forever” she says confidently, moving a little so she can stare deeply, intently, into emerald-green eyes. The bluest eyes are staring at her so lovingly that her knees buckle slightly, however, the Kryptonian easily holds her and keeps her upright. Pulling her impossibly closer.
The love she is seeing in blue is stronger than anything the CEO has ever experienced in her life, like drowning into cotton clouds, an open summer sky, knowing that she’ll never let her fall, being loved so freely and fiercely makes her melt every single time, her heart swells with love and she feels like she’ll combust momentarily.
Both women start leaning in slowly, green never leaves blue.
So, come over, baby, let me hold you instead
Meet me halfway from your side of the bed
They meet in the middle. Their lips connect into the sweetest of kisses. It’s heartwarming, floaty, and it never seems to get old, no matter how many kisses they’ve shared over the years. It still make their arms fill with goosebumps, and her fingers tingle, turning into a puddle at the simplest brush of lips. Soft lips move against each other in another entirely different kind of dance, with practiced ease they fall into a well-known rhythm. Kara pulls away first and doesn’t hold back the satisfied sigh that falls from her lips. Warm air caressing plum lips, which curve up into a smile, before Lena can even process it, she’s leaning in again, capturing pink lips into another loving kiss.
Roll over, baby
Roll over, baby
Roll over, baby
When they finally separate, their foreheads are resting together, it no longer matters if one of them was reckless and behaved rashly, what matters is them, now, holding onto each other, choosing one another, in their night clothes, swaying in their living room under the midnight moon. The city and heroism, they hold nothing against them, in this moment.
“I love you” Kara whispers into Lena’s ear.
“I love you, too”
Come on, meet me halfway
From your side of the bed
Come on, meet me halfway
Let me hold you instead

Synthetic Blood
After taking over her father's company, Lena Luthor spends her time trying to develop a safe man made synthetic blood for medical science and maybe for herself and her kind too of course. You see, Lena is technically human but she is also technically a vampire, well more of a half vampire that's more or less human except for her extra abilities and vitality. As she tries to develop a Blood substitute her brother Lex attempts to steer her away from the light and back down a dark path that has always beckoned her to walk down.
[Look, vampires are kinda cool and I've been meaning to finish this idea that I literally dreamed about last year so let me know if you guys like it, hate it, or have ideas for it yeah? I'll post it on Ao3 later.] Words: 3,036K 🙃
Lillian took the cold metal brush handle in her hand, making it up to her hair, and started to brush through the already smooth tresses of hair on Lena's head.
"On to more pressing matters, it seems we won't be hunting for a while, seeing that the humans are now more aware of our kind since your brother started his little war with the Kryptonians." The aimless brushing continued a bit rougher than before but not painful.
"How are we to feed then mother, how are you going to feed? I am obviously already prepared but I know you prefer straight from the source." There was a slight hesitation in the last stroke of the cold brush.
Lillian set it down slowly almost methodically as she turned away and towards the moonlit window behind them.
Lena looked after the older woman cautiously.
"Mother?" Wearily she stood from the vanity mirror and closer to Lillian’s side.
She received a click of a tongue as an answer before she sighed.
"I hated how it reeked on his body, your father I mean, I hated how the smell of artificial blood was always stuck to him, it reminded me of that awful white meat substitute that some humans love in place of real meat."
"Tofu mother," Lena added helpfully as Lillian sneered further at the window and crossed her arms over her chest in defiance.
"Yes, that was it. He always smelled of his fake blood, you already adopted his tendencies to not want to drink from the source of what we need to survive, which is fine but I’ll never understand it." She turned her head to Lena almost puzzled.
“Well mother I know that this situation will be harder but I’ll try and figure something out for us. I'm sure I can maybe synthesize something more to your preferences if need be."
Lillian wasn't the warmest parent compared to most others but after Lex went on with his blood-war with the aliens, she saw that Lena was more stable than she originally thought, especially compared to her son. So through great effort and shattered pride, she tried her best to bridge the gap between her and her daughter as best as she could, trying to make up for years of neglect and misplaced scorn.
With a defeated sigh Lillian finally turned to look at her youngest,
"Thank you, dear, I know you'll try no matter how many times I say I'll be fine. I just want you to use that brilliant brain of yours for more than just little old me, I'm content with the choices and endless amount of repenting I have waiting for me when it's time." Lillian never smiled at Lena, at least not often, especially as a child, but the one she gave her at that moment was the best one she'd ever seen.
“I think we all do mother. Thank you for taking care of me and letting me wait out the sun for today, I lost track of time again.” Lena lightly skims her thumb over the still healing blemish on her arm, if she were a full vampire like the rest of the Luthors in her family she would have lost it or simply turned to dust as her father did.
“Any time dear, this is still your home too, no matter what your brother claims.”
Lena almost cries, such simple words that her past self would have never dreamed of hearing from the woman before her, Lena simply nods in acknowledgment and heads back out to her car to get back to her apartment.
The drive back to National City is quiet, the long highway back lets her mind playback the hellish day she had, to say she’s dreading the minute she has to see the cities resident Super would be an understatement.
She saw me, I know she saw what I’m capable of. Or at least that I'm definitely NOT human.
Lena’s thoughts turn darker as she imagines the red-caped hero’s look of repulsion and utter hate when she does truly figure out that she’s a creature of the dark, or, at least half of one.
Her mind spirals further down the dark hole of fear of what she will do with her, so much so that she missed the new set of headlights quickly coming closer in her side-view mirror.
When it finally caught enough to slam into her back bumper she quickly snaps out of it and tries to keep her own car on the road and away from the sheer drop of the mountainside to her right.
“Fuck! Now, what!?” The vehicle sways again as the car behind her clashes into hers, she took one of her more pedestrian cars today so her usual horsepower she’d use to escape is severely lacking this time as another hit on her life is in motion again this week.
So much for going incognito.
The shattering of her rear window makes her jump, the side of her car slamming right into the metal railing, seeing the lack of ground on the other side has her heart drop right into her stomach as she tries to get control again.
Big nope to that.
Another pop was registered in Lena’s brain as she finally lost control of her car, her vision spinning just as quickly as the car itself.
“Fuckfuckfuck! I swear, I'm going to stake you myself when I deal with your pets, Lex!” Sweating out of panic, Lena decides that trying to outspeed them won’t happen while in her brick ford car, she figures that she just might have to use some of her power for this one.
Her car makes a sudden stop as the front end crashes through the metal railing at the edge of the road, she was lucky the car became wedged into the twisted metal otherwise she would have had a very unfortunate freefall over the cliff.
Dizzyingly, Lena pries her hands from the steering wheel, her death grip making her bones ache as she tried for her seatbelt next. The sound of car doors slamming shut jumpstarts her heartrate, flooding her system with adrenaline.
The shadows in the headlights get closer, the sound of a gun reloading, four sets of boots crunching on gravel as they round her car on both sides.
She is actually scared now, her right shoulder twinges painfully as she tries to rip out the buckle of her seatbelt, “Ah, shit.” They actually hit her it seems, her white blouse is starting to bleed red down her arm the more she struggles on the belt.
A balding man crouches down into her window, his eyes are glazed over, his face is twisted into a sickening grin. “Hello halfy,” He sneers. “Your big brother wanted us to check in on you this fine night, he was deathly worried for your health as of late.”
His gaze snaps to her bloody shoulder fixated on it for a second or so as he takes a deep breath of warm fresh blood, his dull eyes start to pool red as he takes another lung full of bloody air.
Lena shudders in disgust tilting her face away from his, he reeks of death and rot, ghouls were her least favorite creature that her brother had in his employ.
“Enjoying ourselves are we?” She mutters as his eyes roll open again.
He hums in delight. “He did say your blood was more or less mortal, it's almost humanly sweet.” his smile widens, some kind of old meat seemingly stuck in his teeth and gums as he appraises the state of her and her battered car. “Shame you didn't drive your nicer car, we could have stripped it for parts, but ah, oh well. We’re only here for you tonight then sadly.”
A creaking noise shook the car as he ripped her driver’s door clean off its hinges, Lenas heightened smell was shocked by a wall of death the bald man oozed when he leaned in to free her of her seatbelt and dragged her out of the car by the scruff of her blouse.
Still dazed and newly freed from the metal deathtrap, Lena saw this as her last chance to try and escape from her brother’s lackeys. “I may smell human but by no means does that mean that I’m weak like one.” Latching onto the ghoul’s arm with shaking hands, Lena uses his own weight to counterbalance them both into the loose dirt and flipped herself over again to grab for his throat. She hates to use it but her power has to be used now before what little blood she does drink wears off and leaves her completely defenseless, she’ll have to kill him quickly.
His body starts to convulse as she uses her hand to tear into his fragile throat, black rotten blood oozing over her fingers as his body finally stops thrashing about. She’s still aware of the three heartbeats of the other goons as she finally stands up, her glowing eyes lock onto a man with mousy brown hair, his own eyes are terrified. They all are.
These ones are all human, two are just boys compared to her own age, and they’re all frozen stock still like rabbits to a fox.
Lena is shaking, she doesn’t kill humans, she won’t stoop to her brother’s level. “Leave, go home and forget about this whole night, I don't want to kill any of you. This man was not human, he likely would have eaten you all after my death so take this as an act of mercy. Please.”
The youngest is seems to want no part so he tossed down his weapon and dragged the other two back to their vehicle, the older ones still frozen and staring at the rapidly decaying body of the now-dead ghoul. “Let’s get the hell out of here guys!”
The car ripped out and back onto the highway leaving a wobbly and drained Lena in the dust, “Ugh!” She shrieks in anger as she kicks the rotten body in her rage.
Before she can take out more of her frustration on the dead ghoul she hears a familiar chime of her phone’s ringtone, or more specifically, Karas ringtone.
“Shit. Movie night, I was supposed to be at Karas tonight.” Grumbling as she whipped her bloody hand on her jeans, she bent over to pick up her cracked phone to answer her friend.
“Lena?” Lena sighed, “Hi Kara, I'm sorry for not calling you back, I seem to have run into some car trouble on my way to yours.” Glancing over to her clearly totaled car she winced at the sight of it, “Well more like it's completely totaled now.”
On Karas’s end of the line, she heard a crash and rushing of footsteps, “Ohmygosh! Are you okay Lena?? Where are you, I can come to get you or send my friend to help? Please tell me you’re okay..”
The brunette felt her eyes well up with tears, she really didn't deserve this human known as Kara Danvers, she really didn't.
“I'm off of creek falls and the main highway near the cliff drop, I'm no worse for wear sort of, I'm standing on my own two feet at the moment so I’d say ok, for now anyway, I definitely need a shower and a lot of sleep after this though.” Lena tried to joke but didn't hear Kara anymore, just a rush of air against the microphone.
Confused Lena checks the line, “Kara? Are you still there?”
“Y-yeah Lena I'm still here, um, please don't be mad." Now that made Lena pause. "What? Why would I be mad at you?"
The wind in the earpiece lighted up a bit, "I'm almost there, I'm picking you up, I called Alex she'll be on her way too okay? Was there another car involved or an animal run across the road?" Panic gripped at Lena, Kara can't see this mess! Let alone the rotting ghoul body at her feet, she wouldn't understand!
"Kara, wait, it’s alright I already called the authorities and everything, it'll take a bit but I'm fine right now, also don't drive while on the phone! I don't want to be the cause of yet another accident tonight." Lena hear Kara scoff into the phone, "Thank you for the concern, but I'm definitely not driving, I don't even have a permit." She chuckled at her own expense.
Another pause.
"I'll be fine, just promise not to be mad when you see me? Yelling is fine but don't hate me, please." Anxiety wasn't a common thing for Lena but right now she can feel it clawing up her throat and she swallowed down her guilt of having her sweet fragile Kara seeing what her own monstrous hands are capable of.
She trusts Kara with her life, she'll have to trust her with her dark secret now. "Only if you promise me the same, it’s a mess over here and I'm certain that it'll be horrific for you to see why."
Kara hummed in thought for a second, "Well duh, I could never hate you Lena, or any other bad emotion towards you really." She said carefully like if she said it louder Lena wouldn't believe her.
"Ah wait, I think I see you? Oh." Kara whispered then the line went dead.
Lena was sitting hunched against her busted car, looking around confused at the lack of vehicle, Kara nowhere in sight. Letting out a ragged breath Lena let her head fall back with her eyes closed, praying that Kara would listen to her explain the scene before her.
The brunette’s eyes snapped open when she felt a warm hand on her good shoulder, to say she almost shit a brick would be putting it very lightly because right before her was Supergirl, but in Kara Danvers' sweats, T-shirt, and a very red cape with no socks or shoes to top it all off. Being shocked would be a very light word for how Lena is at that moment.
Super- uh, Kara is pretty much herself while she looks Lena over, making soft cooing noises as she checks over each scrape and bruise, she all but balls her eyes out when she shifts Lena's shirt to check the gunshot wound.
"Lena, Rao, I should have listened further out for you, if I was listening I could have stopped this." Lena was a bit slow to process her words but she quickly bounced back and stupidly asked, “Kara? You’re not human?” Kara stilled her hands, “Yeah. I'm sorry I kept it from you ‘till now, I just could never find the right moment to tell you. I was going to try again tonight if that’s worth anything.”
Kara did look nervous, wary that Lena was angry about her lying for so long, but instead of being angry Lena just full body laughed at their predicament.
As light tears started to form in Lena's eyes Kara nervously held the brunette's hand. "Lena? I don't know if laughing should make me feel nervous or happy right now."
Lena chuckled a couple more times and pulled the blonde into a relieved hug. "I've been an idiot, I've been trying to bring up the fact that I'm not human either for the past year Kara, so right now I think it's a bit ridiculous that you've been worrying about the same thing." Lena definitely didn't miss the full bodied twitch Kara did after hearing her say this, she understood though, Lena is technically human but only partially. It was briefly a one sided embrace until Kara hugged her back with almost all her strength, leaving Lena only mildly squished but overall content.
Their little bubble was immediately burst when a black SUV pulled up to blind the two of them, a bedraggled Alex dressed in her own pajamas and combat boots holding a shovel, "Kara. Tell me why did you text me 911 please bring a shovel! At 1 am Kara- WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT??"
Alex is out of her car and right by Kara's side almost instantly when the once thought to be dead ghoul flips onto its side to drag its to Lena, grossly gurgling its black blood as it crawls over to the trio.
"That would be what's left of my brother's newest hit and sent to check in on me. He's a ghoul so I probably should have made sure to take the whole head off inside of ripping her throat out." Lena extracts herself from an equally shocked Kara and tugs the shovel out of Alex's limp fingers, "Please pardon me, I'll give it right back."
Alex looks at her dumbfounded, Lena shrugs as she turns back to the ghoul clearly annoyed beyond belief. "I would say have a nice trip given that you're going straight to hell but I really don't appreciate what you did to my car, " she glances over at the once upon a time pristine white paint job and cringes at the many bullet holes and scratches.
"Actually I'm more pissed that I had to meet you at all, so, bye now."
She raised the shovel as high as she could with her good arm and swung down with all of her might, the ghoul let out one last hiss as the head fell from his body.
Exhausted Lena looks back at the gawking Danvers sisters, "Help me clean this up and I'll get you both whatever food you want and could eat for a month?" She was almost certain Alex was going to shoot her up until that offer was in play, both sisters bolted up and came over to help.
"You're also going to fill us in about whatever the hell that thing was and why he worked for your brother." Alex stated as she waved her hand in Lena's direction in an almost protective voice.
"And about the not human thing." Kara mumbled as she grabbed the creatures legs over to the deepening hold Alex was currently working on.
With a big sigh of relief Lena nodded, vowing to answer whatever her two friends asked her.
"Deal."

*Felt a need to write a fiction about a reader with thick, curly hair. And the Papyri in her life wanting to get their hands in it.
NEXT
“Girl, you’ve got a lot a hair!” She could feel the corner of her mouth tweak up in amusement beneath her mask. It would not be the first or last time she heard those words. Yet they always brought her amusement, especially considering the move she was about to pull next.
“What if I told you this was only half of it?” she challenged the woman, eyes lighting up mischievously, while her client’s eyes widened only a fraction before narrowing in suspicion. Oh, she loved doing this. Not another word could be uttered before she laid the papers in her hands down neatly against the counter and was digging her fingers gently into her curls. She threw her client a sly wink as she lifted her curls up from her nape and turned her face to the side. An intricate undercut was now fully on display. She had gone with a diamond pattern this time. They laid like neat scales, stretching and repeating from her temple down to her ear, and back to her nape before looping back around. Some were painted with a gold mica for a little accent.
She couldn’t help the little giggle that escaped as she heard the woman’s dramatic gasp. “You weren’t kidding!” She could hear the smile in the older woman’s voice and it warmed her that her antics and hair could bring joy to some. “Oh, I wish I had hair like yours…” She wouldn’t be saying that if she knew how much work this hair was. Plus, her hair had to be finicky to boot. “I’d never cut it! Oh, the things I could do with it!” The novelty would wear off she was sure. A wig would probably be a more practical option. Letting her hair fall back into place, she gently finger combed it and pulled on the ends to help situate it. “Was it..” she lifted a brow at the pause, her fingers releasing a curl and watching as it bounced back into place, hiding it’s true length as it coiled back up. “... oh… hard? Yes, hard to choose to cut it?”
Oh, that was an easy question to answer. “Nope.” The answer was short, but not curt. Her voice warm and her eyes curving with mirth at the other’s disbelieving look. “I’ve had my hair much shorter than this at one point. Actually had it shaved all around for a good bit,” she admitted with a shrug. She was pretty sure her client was pouting under her mask and that made her smile more beneath hers. She finally took this moment to look over the other. She saw nothing wrong with the older woman’s beautifully white hair. It was obviously well taken care of and so long as you weren’t looking for flaws, you couldn’t tell that the senior’s hair was thinning. Effort had been put in, most likely with rollers, layers, and hairspray, to fluff and shape the thin, delicate strands into a soft coif. “Your hair is beautiful as well. I can only hope mine looks as good as yours when I’m your age.” The compliment was just as genuine as it was meant to comfort.
She watched as thin shoulders dropped and the crows feet at the edge of her client’s eyes eased. “You’re too kind,” the old woman tittered. Hands just as thin with joints a little swollen from arthritis lifted to bashfully touch her hair.
“A friend of mine says one can never be too kind, Mrs…” the young woman rebuked lightly while letting her voice drift off towards the end, fishing for a name.
“Mrs. Ida Thomas,” the elder filled in, smile reaching her eyes. Those eyes dipped down to look for a name tag, but found it missing. Her eyes darted back up, flustered, after hearing a little chuckle from the young woman across the counter. She was spared any more embarrassment as the other provided her name with a hand outstretched over the desk, palm open and fingers gently splayed. Her darker skin tone stood out against Mrs. Ida’s nearly translucent hue as they shook.
“Now, Mrs. Thomas, why don’t we get back to why you initially came in here?” she prompted, releasing the other’s hand and picking up the papers she had put down earlier. It was back to business after those words as she lead the consultation.
It would be nearly two hours later before she would finally be showing Mrs. Ida out politely. The two had gotten off topic again, but the tinkling of the little bell from above the front door of her office broke through their conversation. If that hadn’t done it, the cheerful and unmistakably loud call of her name in a familiar voice through the small space would have certainly done it. She smothered a chuckle as Mrs. Ida lightly jumped in her seat at the volume and suddenness. “That would be my friend, Papyrus,” she stated like it provided all the answers needed.
Mrs. Ida only nodded, currently turned in her seat with a curious gaze locked on the doorway. They could hear sure steps getting closer and closer as he marched his way to the inner sanctum. “He is quite… enthusiastic,” the older woman carefully chose her words and the younger held back a snort in response. Oh, she had no idea. She counted the seconds down in her head before finally the door to her private office was thrown open and the towering figure of the monster skeleton stepped inside with a flourish and yet another loud call of her nickname. She was sure if he was wearing his battle armor that the little cape on it would have been blowing in the nonexistent wind. How this monster managed to break physics always astounded her. Instead, he was dressed in blue training shorts and a loose pastel sweater over top his usual black tights that clung to his bones. On his feet were thankfully a pair of bright red trainers, rather than his fire engine red boots. Atleast they matched the just as bright red gloves.
“THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS HERE TO FULFILL HIS DUTIES AS THE GREATEST FRIE-” his monologue broke off as he finally took in the additional, apparently unexpected occupant of the office. “OH!” he jolted, empty sockets widening comically before he gathered himself and cleared his nonexistent throat, “Oh.” His volume dipped to what could be considered an “inside voice” considerately. The poor old woman had at first been in awe at the tall skeleton monster, but that awe had been replaced with a strained expression at the booming voice bouncing and filling the small space. The young woman was sure the skeleton had noticed and being the sweetheart he is, he had lowered his voice for the old woman’s comfort.
Before the moment of silence could stretch into something awkward, she gently tapped a nail on her desktop and then pushed herself to stand with one palm pressed flat to the smooth wood. With her other hand, she waved to the skeleton monster, “Papi-rus,” she greeted, having to stop herself from saying his nickname at the moment. She pouted under her mask as she noticed the little quirk to his teeth that gave away he was very much aware of her slip. She powered on and nodded her head to her client, “I was just finishing with Ms. Ida here,” she informed, introducing the two at the same time.
Ms. Ida seemed at a loss for words as Papyrus bounced back with a gloved hand thrust forward enthusiastically for a handshake. “Consider Yourself Lucky To Have Met THE GREAT PAPYRUS This Day, Hu- MRS. IDA!” She held in an inelegant snort at her friend’s efforts to keep his volume under control. Bless him. And bless Mrs. Ida who seemed even more starstruck, but thankfully had recovered just enough to lift a hand and take his. The old woman was now blinking at their hands as the skeleton’s much larger one gently gripped hers and was soon joined his other, sandwiching hers. She still hadn’t said a word and it took the young woman finally releasing a giggle to knock her out her stupor.
“Oh, goodness me! I have been so rude,” Mrs. Ida gasped, eyes lifting to look up at the skeleton who had leaned down with a concerned tilt to his teeth and scrunch to his surprisingly malleable eye sockets. “And I’ve worried you, I apologize, sweetie,” she went to hide behind her free hand, but seemed to think better of it and instead patted his hands that were still gripped around one of her own.
“Nyeh Heh Heh! It Is Quite Alright.” Papyrus’s words, but mostly his genuine laughter as his features brightened up seemed to melt the tension from the elder. “Afterall, That Sort of Reaction Is Expected-” the younger watched her client blink as the skeleton monster struck a pose. He stood tall, head held high, and one hand pressed to his purposely puffed chest with fingers splayed dramatically. His expression couldn’t look more smug and proud… then again, this was Papyrus. He could find a way and considering she had met some of his cousins, she knew it was possible. “-When One Meets A Skeleton As Cool As I Am! Wink!”
She could see her client’s eyes crinkling as she was undoubtedly smiling under her mask up at the monster. If it wouldn’t ruin the moment, she’d have taken a picture of the wholesome moment for memories. Instead, she gently tapped at her phone’s screen and it illuminated, displaying the time. Eyes widening briefly, she glanced up at the clock on the wall as well before sparing a glance out the window. The sun was not visible, but the world wasn’t quite dark yet. It was the cool colors of twilight that dominated the world outside. “It’s later than I realized,” she commented, mostly to herself, but the other two occupants still heard her and broke from their idle chatter.
Mrs. Ida peeked out the window as well before looking at her own wrist watch with a chuckle. Papyrus nodded in affirmation with arms crossed, not bothering to look outside or look to any clock. No, his focus was acutely on the youngest human in the room. Though his sockets lacked any eyelights, she could feel his gaze on her as those sockets narrowed. Leave it to Papyrus to scold her without saying a word; though she’s sure he’s practically vibrating in his metaphorical boots to lecture her. The reason he did not expect any guests in her office was because she should have been closing up a good hour ago and been ready to go by the time he stepped through her door. He was always punctual and most times early.
Subconsciously, she twirled and pinched a curl at the nape of her neck as she looked away guiltily to the oh so interesting texture of the wood floors.
Mrs. Ida giggled at the silent exchange. Just what had she interrupted? Had they had a date planned? As amusing and precious as it was to watch the two, she would take pity on the girl. A smirk curved her lips under her mask as she decided to help the young agent out. She released a dramatic sigh before looking over and up to Papyrus. “Mind giving an old woman a hand? These joints of mine get stiff when I’ve idled too long,” she beckoned with an outstretched hand. It worked like a charm as the skeleton’s attention was immediately focused on the old woman. Once again, her hand was swamped in his gloved digits and with surprising care for someone so boisterous, he helped her stand.
“Stiff Joints Are Never Fun. I Would Know!” he joked, beaming as he earned yet another soft titter from the frail looking human before him. She looked so small and her hand, it felt… fragile. Like if he gripped too hard or moved too harshly, she would break. He offered his other hand for her to grip as well as she straightened up and steadied herself.
“I’m sure you do,” Mrs. Ida playfully replied. Her eyes moved back to the young woman who had finally left from behind her desk and now stood before the duo. “I’m sorry about taking up all your time like this,” she dipped her head to the young woman who quickly responded with raised palms and a shake of her head.
“You have nothing to apologize for, Mrs. Ida,” she assured. “It’s not your fault you make such good company,” she complimented, a teasing lilt to her voice as her eyes crinkled due to her hidden smile.
The old woman hushed the younger with feigned embarrassment. “Flatterer,” she accused lightly and didn’t bother to hide an unlady-like snort as her agent just wiggled her eyebrows in response.
Papyrus hummed as he listened to the exchange. He spared an anxious glance out the window and resisted tapping his toes in impatience. Not that he didn’t enjoy meeting new people--new potential friends--, he simply wished to spend time with his already established friend for their usual outing. “I Feel I Need To Remind You Two Of What Time it Is.” The statement did not have the intended affect as the two women simply laughed after a small lull to stare up at him. “NYEH!” His little burst seemed to only make their mirth worse, “THIS IS SERIOUS. WE HAVE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS TO GET TO!” he was pouting and he knew it, but another glance at the clock and his sockets were narrowing as he leveled an accusing glare on his human friend. “CORRECTION! WE SHOULD ALREADY BE THERE!”
Mrs. Ida was thankful for the serotonin these two had blessed her with this evening as even the skeleton’s loss of volume control couldn’t bring her down at this point. “You two are just adorable!” she was practically cooing. After taking a deep breath in and slowly releasing, she felt the giggles dissipate. “Apologies, Papyrus, Dear, but it’s a southern thing.”
A beat of silence, then. “WHAT DOES A CARDINAL DIRECTION HAVE TO DO WITH THIS?” Yet another snort left the woman and she had to bring a hand up to hover in front of her masked mouth to suppress another bout of laughter.
Fighting her own battle against a bout of giggles, the young woman managed to speak up. “She’s referring to a geographical region, Papyrus,” she clarified, “It’s a running joke that southerners don’t know how to say goodbye since they take forever to part ways.” Both women watched the monster take in the information and sighing as he nodded firmly, indicating he understood. Not a moment later they were jumping as he straightened up, one hand on his hip, and the other pointing to his roof before swinging down. Once his hand stopped, the humans found themselves staring down his finger as the skeleton somehow managed to aim an even toothier grin at them.
“AS THE ONLY ONE HERE NOT A ‘SOUTHERNER,’ ALLOW ME TO BESTOW ON YOU HUMANS THE MOST EFFICIENT WAYS TO SAY GOODBYE!” Papyrus declared, his tone exuberant, but unable to completely mask the sassy, sly lilt from his friend. Mrs. Ida, though, was none the wiser and just found the whole idea of being taught how to say goodbye entertaining. She nodded, agreeing to play along. “PERFECT! STEP ONE! LOOK AT EACH OTHER.” The two human women humored him as they made eye contact. Mrs. Ida gave the young woman an admonishing look as she wiggled those brows again. Thankfully, their teacher did not notice, or maybe he was just ignoring their antics. “GOOD! NOW, STEP TWO. REPEAT AFTER ME: GOOD NIGHT!”
It was such an abrupt order that both women just blinked in disbelief. The younger recovered first with a meager shake of her head and a giggle, “Good night, Mrs. Ida!” With a little nod to her client, the old woman replied with a just as enthusiastic farewell.
Papyrus nodded in approval with only a small narrowing of his eye sockets at the two as they giggled. “FINAL STEP: PART WAYS!” he stated with a flourished wave of his hand to the doorway. A tap on his arm brought his attention back to his friend who was gesturing for him to bend down. He did so with minimal complaint, but only completely quit his grumping as she set a hand on his shoulder and leaned in to whisper in his metaphorical ear.
Mrs. Ida had only glanced at the doorway and just barely gotten to take a step before she was jumping in place as a loud gasp filled the room. Before she could question what had happened, she felt as if she was floating for a moment as she was quite literally swept off her feet and into Papyrus’s arms. She couldn’t have been more thankful for the mask mandate as it hid most of her quickly reddening face. She hadn’t been held in years, much less lifted so effortlessly. She was too stunned and flustered to utter any sort of protest.
“Sorry about that, ma’am, but with it getting dark outside, it would ease my mind if you allowed Papyrus to escort you to your car?” The old woman simply blinked at her junior and then up at the lad who currently had her suspended. Escorting was one thing, but to be carried?
“AND I FELT IN MY INFINITE WISDOM, IT WOULD BE MOST EFFICIENT IF I CARRIED YOU,” the skeleton interjected, reminding her that he had been aiming to teach them “efficient goodbyes.” “YOU ALSO STATED EARLIER THAT YOUR JOINTS GET STIFF. THIS WAY YOU DON’T HAVE TO STRAIN!” he added, proud and eager, “NO WORRIES ABOUT ME. MY BONES AND JOINTS ARE IN TIP TOP SHAPE! AND YOU, HUMAN IDA, ARE NO CHALLENGE TO HOLD!”
The elder just nodded along. “You were right, I was pretty lucky to meet you today,” she recalled his introduction fondly. With a final wave goodbye and short parting words, Mrs. Ida found herself being swept out the room, through a short hall, small waiting area, and finally out the front door.
That tinkling of a bell signaling to the young woman currently straightening her office and filing away papers that her client was gone and she now had until Papyrus got back to finish up.
Papyrus eased his impatience by thinking of his current task as training. A very easy warm up. A very unexpected, unplanned warm up. The elderly human’s… Mrs. Idas weight in his arms was no challenge; and despite the buzz in limbs begging him to move faster, the memory of her frail hands and aching bones helped keep him grounded. He settled into a steady, swift pace. His long legs covering plenty of ground with each step.
At first, the two had been chatting idly and he had been quick to get her to point out where she had parked. It was alarming to learn she had not parked anywhere and he had been confused until she mentioned she had “caught” a cab. Her little giggle as she took the time to explain what she meant and that she had not literally CAUGHT a cab. He admits he is still figuring out humans’ rather creative use of words or language. She’d even taken the time to explain “euphemisms” to him as he brought her to the nearest bus stop after a quick google to check the schedule and location.
“EUPHEMISMS SEEM LIKE SOMETHING MY BROTHER WOULD ENJOY,” he had commented. Mentally, he added on that his brother would probably catch on to them easier as well. Sans, along a couple of his “cousins,” was a walking dictionary, considering his preference for crossword puzzles. Maybe his puns would improve in cleverness if he introduced him to the world of euphemisms. One could only hope. Thankfully, he had plenty of that. The conversation had continued, easy and casual, until finally the bus stop came into view and the bus just rolling up.
Papyrus picked up his pace just a bit and secured his grip on his passenger. Mrs. Ida managed to loose an arm to wave as both called to the driver to wait up. The bus remained idle thankfully and once they slowed to a stop before the door, it slid open to a rather plump man sitting in the driver’s seat who simply tipped his hat to them. “Lucky I saw you two in the rear view,” his words brought forth yet another little giggle for the old woman.
“Today is just my lucky day, it seems!” she boasted, tapping Papyrus’s shoulder as he eased her onto her own feet. The driver had gotten up and stood on the steps, hand held out to help his elder up the steps.
“Goodness, all of you are going to have me spoiled by time I get home,” she teased, taking the young man’s hand and letting him guide her up onto the step. She could feel Papyrus kept a steadying hand at her back. What a sweet gentle monster.
“Oh! Before I forget,” she chirped and turned to look over her shoulder at the skeleton. Said skeleton didn’t bother hiding his widening smile as she still had to look up at him despite her standing on the top step at this point. She had simply huffed and set a hand on her hip, “Go easy on her, big guy.” If he had eyebrows, one would have been raised at her warning tone. Before he could even part his teeth to ask her to elaborate, she was speaking again, “Unless that’s what you two are into.” If his tongue was summoned, he’d be choking on it. The driver was doing so for him as he could hear the portly human coughing and beating at his chest. “Enjoy the rest of your evening, Papyrus,” she finished with a wink and her tone was so cheeky, even his dense skull knew what she was implying.
It wasn’t until the doors of the bus had closed that he could practically feel his skull burning with excess magic summoned to surface in his embarrassment. He buried his face in his hands, trying his best to muffle his flustered screech. It didn’t do much. As streets down, some poor soul was wondering if they had left their tea kettle on.

Headcanons for Pro heroes Tenya, Izuku, and Mirio meet their soulmate... but she's a villain! A villain who's REALLY bad at BEING bad. The other heroes and police don't even take her seriously anymore, usually choosing to just outright ignore her since she's so harmless in her efforts to be bad, treating her more like 'the village idiot' than an actual threat, even though she actually has a super powerful quirk that has the potential to be incredibly dangerous.
[ Yeeeeeees. Something with my boy, Tenya. I love him to pieces! ]
Tenya Iida
The first time he met you it was in the middle of you trying to rob a jewelry store, but it appeared as though you were merely exchanging various jewelry pieces as opposed to actually stealing. But even so, Tenya felt something in his heart that day and though he had heard of you, he also heard of the way others treated you and while you were classified as a villain. He didn’t fully believe that.
It was quite unheroic of him, but he often saught you out. “Halt villain!” he called as he stood there dressed in his Ingenium costume, and once more he felt his heart pull toward you. “Ingenium!?” you snapped and growled as you tightened your fists. “Back off hero or I will assassinate this child!” you threatened as you grabbed the dummy doll you had or rather it was a custom made silicone copy of a child. Your latest plan involved something with kidnapping children, but Ingenium merely laughed at your efforts. Though not out of pity, he genuinely thought you were adorable.
He knew the police would often ignore your efforts, which in a way didn’t sit right with him. Even if you didn’t fit the role of a villain, you still deserved some positive recognition, and while he knew of his feelings toward you. Knew that you were his so-called soulmate, he’d often put on an act whenever you two fought. Pretending to be injured by your advances until the day you showed him what your quirk could really do and it nearly took his life. However, when he recovered enough to be discharged from the hospital. The first thing he did was track you down, you were busy writing down your ideas for your next evil plot when you heard him and snarled.
“Ingenium! I demand you leave at once before I kill you!” you snapped and he chuckled. “I believe if you wished for my death, you would have done so already. My love,” he said and though his words made you blush, you shook your head. “I am not your love! Stop saying that hero! You disgust me!” you hissed. Though in all truth you knew he was correct, you had felt the pull as well and while you had the desire to hug him. Stay close to him, protect him even if you were so bad at protecting yourself. You knew you couldn’t. “Your quirk is rather impressive. Please tell me more,” he said and you felt your heart sink.
“W-Why would I tell you! Ingenium you will get in trouble if you are found associating with a villain!” you hissed, unsure of why you cared so much. He took a seat on the ground and shrugged, “Perhaps it is rather stupid of me, but you are my soulmate and I believe such a thing takes priority and I would truly like to know more about you.” he said and your heart skipped a beat at the sight of his smile. “You’re going to regret this ...” you whispered and he shrugged in response. “Perhaps, perhaps not. May I get your real name?” you jumped in surprise, he wanted to know that? Your blush deepened, “Y/n.” you said and watched as Ingenium held his hand out. “Tenya Iida and if may so be bold as to make the following statement. Your future husband.”
Izuku Midoriya
When he first met you, his face lit up like a firecracker and somehow deep inside him he knew that his search for love was over. Of course, as the number one hero. He hadn’t given much thought to love, thinking that it was going to be impossible to find his soulmate. Sure he had pondered about it, but he never actually thought it would happen. Yet, there you were. Trying to drown someone in a stream that you quickly found out was too low to do such a thing. He thought it was a little silly and you had a small quarrel before he watched you disappear.
He knew he should take villain threats seriously, but he also found it a little frustrating that the authorities didn’t take you seriously. One day, he had arrived on the scene of you trying to hook up a television and satellite so you could broadcast your latest evil plan. The boys in blue were laughing and you were standing there, arms crossed with a red face. Deku had asked you if everything was alright and you hissed, “Back off hero or I’ll show you the meaning of pain!” But Deku just laughed and pulled you into a hug, which you didn’t expect. “You’re so cute,” he said and you growled in frustration.
You didn’t expect a hero of all people to be after you, but Deku seemed persistent in tracking you down. In fact, it always seemed like he knew where you were at all times. Given, you felt that connection with him, but you refused to believe a pitful hero was your soulmate. Yet, Deku continued to remind you of that and had even saved you when you were plotting your next evil scheme on top of a building. It involved a rocket and some type of extreme itching power. But during your villain speech, you stepped too far and fell off the edge of the building. That was the first time anyone had saved you and though, you didn’t want to admit. You were blushing as Deku held you in his arms.
You had tried to branch out to other villains, believing that by making some connections your reputation would be boosted, and perhaps you’d even be considered feared. But even the villains rejected you, claiming that you were nothing more than a mockery. When the authorities later arrived on the scene, there was blood splatter and dead bodies everywhere. Obviously a powerful quirk at work, you were hiding behind a pillar when Deku arrived as well. You watched as his head turned and his stare fixated on you. For a moment you felt afraid of that stare. Weeks had passed since that incident and Deku managed to corner you after another scheme had gone wrong.
“Why do you keep following me, hero!?” you growled, “That was you that caused all that destruction. You have a powerful quirk, huh?” he questioned before stepping closer, and you shot your hands out, a pink glow surrounding them. “Don’t make me hurt you.” the threat came out of your mouth in a hiss, but Deku seemed unphased and grabbed your hands. Pulling them against his chest, the fabric of his hero suit began to burn. “Do it then,” he challenged before leaning over, pressing his hand to the side of your face. “Even if you hurt me, even if you aren’t a true villain. You are still my soulmate and that will never change,” he said before pulling you close, and for a moment, you felt the unfamiliar sensation of a tear roll down your cheek.
Mirio Togata
Lemillion was the number 2 hero on the charts, feared and admired by heroes and villains everywhere. However, most would think a hero would keep the fact that a villain was their soulmate under wraps. Not Lemillion. During an interview, he had talked about how he ran into you, laughs sounded from the crowd as you were known as nothing more than a joke. But Lemillion only smiled and stood up, “Hey now! That happens to my soulmate you’re laughing at! Sure they may not be threatening, but they have creativity and a sense of never giving up! That’s admirable.” of course, he received backlash from his statement. But he carried on as positive as ever.
Frankly, as a villain you didn’t care about heroes. But Lemillion was something else and because of him, your reputation went further down the drain. No villain or hero would take you seriously. Despite your plans being well, less than perfect. Jewelry store robbery? It went wrong. Theft? You ended up stealing the plastic replica of the real thing, but each and every time something went wrong. Lemillion was there and you were beginning to hate his flowing red cape and smile. Despite the fact that smile made your heart race.
Whenever you saw him, he’d always greet you with a “Hey there, sunshine! Did your plan go wrong again? Well, that’s okay! Just keep trying.” you’d always throw a punch at him but he’d only grab it and pull you in for a hug. You’d blush as you struggled to get out of his grip and the authorities would always laugh at the display of the hero hugging the wannabe villain. There was even a newspaper article about it, “Lemillion Hugs for Lonely Villain.” God, you wanted to burn all those newspapers and you would have if you didn’t run out of lighter fluid.
One day it seemed like you were out of ideas, you were standing on the rooftop of a building. Different scenarios running through your head only to have Lemillion interrupt them. You growled, “Will you leave me alone!?” you snapped before using your quirk and watched as a large explosion sounded near Lemillion. However, he was clever and before you knew it, he had his arms around you. “Let me go!” you growled as you began to kick and Lemillion laughed, “How can I let my soulmate go?” he replied and though you blushed, verbal threats continued to pour out of your mouth. It was beginning to weigh you down, not being an actual threat. Not playing the part of a villain well enough.
Yet, somehow you blamed it on the fact that a hero was your soulmate. Of course, you felt a connection with Lemillion. Yet you knew it wouldn’t work out regardless of how he continued to chase you. “Don’t you get it!?” you snapped one day, “I’m a villain! You’re a hero! I’m pathetic and you ...you just ...you get all this praise and you actually do your job and-” a scream caught in your throat when Lemillion pulled you close, pressing his lips against yours. You felt butterflies erupt in your stomach before he pulled away with a smile. “You do a wonderful job, but maybe being a villain isn’t your thing? Maybe that’s why you’re my soulmate because we were meant to work side by side!” you could hardly believe his words.

Requested by: Anon
A/N: I’ve really enjoyed writing Buffy this Halloween and I hope I’ve done her justice! Also, anon, I really hope I haven’t disappointed you with the Halloween fics! Hope you like this one !! 🖤🦇
You were sat with your friends in the canteen, laughing over a joke someone told as she looked back at you, the laughter still in her eyes. Buffy had fallen for you almost instantly and had asked you on a date one evening. It was at the Bronze, nothing fancy, but it had been so special to you both. You had been dating for a few years now and things were going really well. You trusted her and you knew she cared for you as much as you did for her. You were both heavily invested in your relationship, but you knew you could tease each other without one getting upset. You could get giddy together, getting wrapped up in your jokes.
This afternoon, she was sat sideways on your lap, happily resting as you joked around with your friends. She had looped an arm around your neck and had been landing soft kisses during any lulls in conversation. You hugged her closer to you and the others, especially Willow and Tara, grinned happily at your affection. You really did just fit.
Talk amongst your group then turned to Halloween plans. This was always a hard one to plan, as you usually all had different ideas or different parties you had heard about. It meant you all had to agree and then make sure you caught up with Xander too so that he knew what was going on.
When the four of you finally decided, hoping that Xander and Anya would agree, you then started to discuss Halloween costumes.
“I wonder what surprise you have for us this time” she chuckled, landing a soft kiss against your cheek and smiling which made you pout a little.
“What?” You ask in mock-outrage.
“Well I’m guessing the skeleton of Halloween past will be making an appearance?” She smiled, “One year I definitely saw you fight a dog to get the fake bone back onto your costume!”
“I didn’t fight the dog, I bribed it!” You confirmed which made Buffy roll her eyes at you fondly. She reluctantly slid off your lap, checking her watch for the time as the two witches laughed at your response.
“You are literally the same thing every year for Halloween” Buffy smiled, kissing your cheek before skipping off to her college class, “Just, make sure you wash it before you wear it - that thing belongs in the ground!” She called over her shoulder at you, making you huff.
But, in that split second, you had an idea. You were going to come up with the best, most amazing costume that may even surprise your lovely girlfriend.
“You’ll see!” you called after her but she was out of earshot, “I’m gonna win you over with my costume this year!”
You turn back to Willow and Tara who didn’t have a class either and as you started rubbing your hands together wickedly, “I’m so gonna show her. I’m gonna prove her so wrong!” You smiled villainously, plotting your next move.
“Why are you speaking like an evil person?!”
“Because, my dear Willow, I am going to win this Halloween so hard she won’t know what hit her!”
“But you’re her partner it isn’t a competiti-”
“One day you’ll understand, Will! This is a competition and I will be winning – you’ll see!” You ensured as Willow and Tara shared a look as you started scribbling ideas down in the back of one of your notepads.
Two hours later, Willow had caught up to Buffy on her way to the dorm she shared with you. You had left Willow and Tara shouting something incoherent about fabric or something. Buffy smiled when she saw Willow who launched straight into the reason she had waited around for Buffy outside of her lesson. As both of your best friend she thought it best to warn Buffy at least.
“Uh, y/n said they’re gonna prove you wrong and win Halloween which is-”
“So not happening” Buffy cut Willow off by shaking her head and nodding. This made Willow relieved slightly, she was worried that your relationship could get a bit messy if you were trying to ‘win’ over the other. What she hadn’t realised was that Buffy was just as competitive, “I mean, my costume is gonna drop their jaw this year” she continued self-assuredly.
“Do you really feel, uh, competition is a healthy-”
“Oh, they want a competition? It is so on” She said, a gleam in her eye as she stalked up to your room and opened the door ready to trash talk you between all the kissing she wanted to do. You both enjoyed a little challenge especially over something fun like a costume for Halloween. Things were hard with the demons and the apocalypses so you both tried to inject a little fun into your lives. it was one of the reasons Buffy loved being with you, you loved and cherished her but you could turn around and mess about with her too.
You and Buffy squinted at each other before embracing softly as you usually would. She kissed you softly, telling you that she was in fact going to be the winner of Halloween this year.
Through the next week you and Buffy were sneaking around each other prepping your respective costumes. It even meant you had moved a piece of furniture in front of the door to your dorm to keep her from seeing your costume accidentally.
Thud. Thud. This told you she was at the door. The cupboard had started to move with the door with her strength.
“Y/n! Why is the door locked?!” The worry in her voice so thick you could feel it through the door, “I can’t-” she gritted her teeth trying to push the door again without splintering it.
“You can’t come in here!” You shouted quickly, trying to make sure she knew you weren’t in danger, “There’s, uh, costume everywhere!” you explained.
The items were laid out in a circle around you as you tried to visualise the final product. You were really excited for her to see it and especially for her to admit you had surprised her (and won).
“God, it’s like it’s our wedding”
“You would be so lucky!” You shouted, “Especially to have the winner of the best Halloween costume of the year on your arm!”
“Fine. Come and find me when you’re done” she rolled her eyes and walked away, secretly thinking about perfecting her own costume. She smiled as she thought about you and your excitement over Halloween. She couldn’t help that she was so fond of you but she was definitely planning on wearing something that would make you smile.
Finally, tonight was the night. It was Halloween. Buffy had, like a ninja, smuggled away her costume in a big bag and gone over to Willow and Tara’s to get changed. This left you able to get ready by yourself.
You had decided on dressing as a vampire slayer. More van Helsing than the usual slaying outfits that Buffy would wear. You were in a long trench coat, with something you knew Buffy would like on you underneath.
You finally made it to the party, Buffy and the others were already there. The live music was reverberating off the walls and everyone was in a really good mood. The collective campus had all sighed a breath of relief - as if everyone knew they would get home safe tonight.
You saw her, between the crowd. You were drawn to her, as you always were. Your heart belonged to hers and of course you were rushing to make sure she saw how much you had won Halloween.
But when you got close to her, her scent that made you feel at home, you stopped abruptly. Taking in her outfit. You were almost speechless.
Your eyes lit up as hers did, unable to believe what she was wearing. You had never thought she would wear this. She had a cape, a lacy red dress and her face was so much paler than usual. She pointed at you before walking over to you and smiling.
She was a vampire. She had actually dressed as a stereotypical vampire.
“You look amazing!” You gushed, excitedly, making her twirl.
“I thought you were trying to win, you could have made an effort” she smiled, looking down at your own outfit with a smile. Then she squinted, looking at your belt. A stake. Some garlic. You were a Slayer!
It made her laugh and shake her head. She couldn’t help taking your outfit in again, her eyes scanning your body again with a coy smile.
“So, we went for mortal enemy chic, huh?” she asked, her voice a little muffled.
“A vampire and a slayer, you know people will talk” you giggled, so pleased at how this had worked out. You wrapped your arms around her and began to kiss her, but she stopped you, pulling away. She reached into her mouth and pulled some plastic fangs out.
Buffy slid her arm around your waist, pulling you closer as you cupped her face. You move a strand of her hair out of the way, landing several kisses against her soft lips. You were both in the centre of the room. There could have been nobody in the room though, the anticipation of your competition dying down as you just wanted to show her your appreciation for he costume. Nobody was actually looking except Tara and Willow who just looked a little bemused.
“Let them” She smiled into the kiss. Your lips gliding over the other as she started to tip you and kiss your neck. She couldn’t take it seriously though and started to laugh into the side of your neck. You were so happy with her you could cry. With laughter. When you broke the kiss and managed to calm down, you looked over to Willow who had been watching and you winked.
You really had both won this Halloween. However, throughout the night you would ask unsuspecting guests who had the best costume in the hopes of finding out who had truly won Halloween.
